This would be amazing. I'd love to use this with We'll Make It for fast unhook + fast heal.
So sad it's current state is only usable during EGC 😭
To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot that it existed. Which could be why they haven't reworked or buffed it.
-
Yeah they need to fix that because it's incredibly inconsistent. I just stopped trying to reveal him and if I see him stalking me I just gain as much distance as possible and lose.
Also does Ghostface lose collision when stalking?

No One Left Behind is such an oddball of a perk tbh, I don't even know where to start. Let me try...
Oh and also, edits are in bold.
It is inconceivable to leave someone behind.
- Gain a 30/40/50 % Action Speed bonus to Unhooking
and Healingother survivors, including yourself. - After unhooking a Survivor, the Auras of all other survivors that are not performing actions are revealed to you.
No One Left Behind grants 50/75/100 % bonus Bloodpoints
for actionsin the Altruism Category. The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-Trial.
This pretty much makes it the same as ever without needing to open any exit gates or powering them, but removes the action speed bonus to healing others. It also shows the auras of other survivors not doing generators after unhooking someone, just to make it a teeny bit useful for seeing how well the others are doing. Oh, and it makes the bonus bloodpoints work similarly to BBQ's, as shown in the last sentence. Plus we need more bloodpoint farming perks anyways.
The healing bonus was kinda pointless and really made it much more packed than Botany Knowledge, so instead of nerfing the action speed bonus I decided to remove the healing speed bonus so that it only benefits the unhook action, but still allows you to unhook survivors quickly.
I think I like your idea. So instead of it activating at the endgame It will be active for the full game?
- Gain a 30/40/50 % Action Speed bonus to Unhooking
-
As a survivor main it terrible to abuse bugs and exploits to make the game unfun for others.
I want the game enjoyable for both sides.
-
Id rather they add a new mechanic to generators to make then more interactive to survivors.
-
I have 2 perk ideas for killer and survivor
Back on track
After being side tracked your able to effectively get back to the task at hand
A generator that is regressing will be shown to you in a red aura.
Stoping the regression and repairing the generator you gain a 10% increase in repair speed for 1/2/3 seconds.
And
Hex: Unleashed
A hex that grants you powerful abilities to aid you in your hunt.
When any hex including this one is cleansed you gain an 10% increase in movement, attack, and breaking speeds for 10/12/14 seconds.
-
As a survivor main I am mostly ok with tunneling. It's a strategy that killers can use win. Survivors have similar strategies they can use to win and have tools to handle.
I said this once and I will say it again it's not the strategies that's toxic its the intention behind the strategies that's toxic. Killers have tunneled survivors for extremely petty reasons. Because they don't like the cosmetic the survivors is wearing, the character that they are playing as, even just using an item that was intentionally put in the game. If you tunnel for these petty reasons then that's toxic. You didn't do it with the intentions of winning you did it to make the survivors game unfun because you had a bias against them.
Again using a strategy to win the game is totally fine but using it to make the other person's game unfun is toxic.
-
My favorite underrated perks is
1. Detectives Hunch
2. Autodidact
3. Alert
4. Off The Record
5. Wake Up.
Honorable Mentioned
1. Desperate Measures
2. Self Preservation
3. Fixated
4. Repressed Alliance
5. Stake Out
6. Windows Of oppurtunity
-
I'm fine with slugging. It's a legitimate strategy that the survivors can counter.
However I find it scummy when you do it to be rude and leave the survivors on the ground for long periods of time. At that point your being toxic.
-
I like going against him. He is really fun and puts a new spin on things.
(Not because he is easy to go against but just because I have fun facing him)

I vividly remember using Thrill of the Hunt when I first started and thinking it was overpowered...
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2141493#Comment_2141493
Both of these perks are very strong! But they do require a specific play style to get value and they're not very commonly used.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2141480#Comment_2141480
Now that I think about it I've never used any of Zarinas perks either 🤔
Zarina's perks are actually pretty decent. They are a solid B teir.
For the people is nice and synergize in a lot of builds well.
Off the record is really underrated
And red herring is ok too.
-
I have used nearly every survivor perk except for 2. Buckle Up and No One Left Behind.
With Buckle up I cannot figure out a way to synergize it with other perks. And by itself it's really lack luster.
No One Left Behind is just really outdated and bad it's another useless perk I can't synergize with.

Yes but you do benefit from knowing at all time (or almost) where the killer is and where your team mate are. You can highly optimize your action like saving someone from hook, healing etc. which give an decent advantage.
I agree. The problem is the communication and the information you get from it being in a swf.
-

If you can only win in SWF that mean you aren't that great to begin with.
I don't agree. Being in a swf doesn't automatically make you a god survivor. Your skill level whether in swf or in solo is still the same. If you were bad in solo you are bad in swf. If your good in solo your good in swf.
The only advantage is comms not skill.
-
We don't really need an experiment as we can logically determine what would happen.
People in swf would have their queue time shoot up. And it would be too oppressive to solo.

What I think should be done with Iron Will is that it should only keep you silent 10/15/20 seconds after a hit. It will reset once you heal. It should also not be negated by Stridor.
I would not be opposed to a change like that. It's way better then making it permanently deactivated after a certain time.

That’s actually kinda interesting but vigil has a similar albeit much worse effect
I was thinking about if it would be better to make it immune to any healing debuffs instead of being immune to the mangled status.
-
I had different idea. I think they should revert it back but with a twist
Lucky Break
You've had your share of scrapes and bruises, but luck's always on your side.
Lucky break is active whenever you are injured.
While Lucky Break is active you leave no pools of blood for 180/210/240 seconds. Lucky Break is deactivated once the timer has elapsed.
You're immune to the mangled status effect.
-
1. I'm unsure of. You would have to test it out to see if it would be overwhelming.
2. Same as 1. I'm not opposed to it but again further testing would help determine if it's good or overwhelming.
3. I think I would be fine with
4. Hard no. All it would do is create a lose lose scenario for the survivor and buff his chase way too much. It also lower his skill as it would take no skill to use. At least with the ricochet addon it made it more skill based.
5. I don't think I'm opposed to it.
6. No again. Imagine trying to valut a window and you couldn't because you got hit with a blade. It would be a quick insta down afterwards since they wouldn't be able to get away in time.
Overall your suggestions are decent but some I'm really opposed to.

it is an accepted tactic the devs will do nothing for this.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/245505/dont-mind-us-on-the-floor
bleed out and die... crawl away, then use UB.
Slugging is fine sure but doing this when the game is clearly over is just toxic and waste people's time. I'm sorry are you trying to defend this toxic behavior?
-
Whats worse is that I don't think you can report this person for being toxic and unsportsmanlike.
-

Don't forget that the Survivor side of things also has to deal with Freddy's existence eating up frames, same with Doc.
Oh and Sloppy Butcher has crashed my Xbox before.
For the survivor as well there is frame drops when you use dead hard, when you use perks like lithe, when generators are completed, when someone gets hooked. It's a lot.
-
Did you just coin the term survivor toxicitism? I'm going to start using that.
-
From what i can understand it did too much. If you has ruin it could potentially last for all the rest of the totems if the survivors were unlikely.
It also was too strong a detection perk. It shows the survivors aura by just them running by it which completely killed stealth. On indoor maps it would be extremely oppressive since totem are really hard to find on that map. It also made hex Thrill of the Hunt completely obsolete since undying was objectively better.
In my opinion the only nonsense thing about old undying and to an extent now is the aura read. It was a free aura read with not effort on the killer.

It really does.
My game crashed once because of a Freddy with Sloppy.
Have you played against doctor? I played against a doctor recently and the frames dropped so much. Every shock was just a frame drop. It's absolutely terrible.
-
Why not just use starstruck?
-
The only addons from wraith I want gone is that aura reading and silent bell addon. The rest are fine I think.
-
1. I'm not sure of when the dlc I started playing. I know it was before Freddy and Doctors rework.
2. I'm an adam main and now after a binding of kin I'm also a elodie main.
3. I don't play killer I'm a survivor main

My point was never about the intention. I agree, obviously survivors think they are doing something positive for the killer, and I for one, applaud the attempt of showing respect.
it’s not this though. Not in my opinion anyway.
I understand thank you.

I do not have a bias against survivors. I play both. When I know the rest of my team is safe I immediately leave cause I know how it feels. Granted if the killer camped or tunneled then I stay and tbag. An insult for an insult. I can’t tell you how many times everyone is at the gate and I just leave while the others just stay to be toxic and whatnot. I just find it very unsportsmanlike. Survivors moan and whine about camping and tunneling but then a ton of them tbag and click their flashlights at you at the exit gate. It’s ok for them but it’s a no no for killers.
I wasn't talking about you being bias I was talking about Renthecat being bias.
I understand what your saying though and I agree.

i'll leave when the timer is low because that's when I assume the killer won't even come. I went against a trickster and I tried giving him a free hit not even close to the edge of the gate and he just stood there. Why am I being called a toxic survivor for trying to be nice??? It seems like you think survivors in general are all toxic.
He does think that. He has an extreme bias against survivors.

You don’t see the toxicity?
- you prolong the trial in a position where you can’t lose
- your suppose to act like someone trying to escape a killer but fearlessly wait provokingly so you can get a lil spanking before you leave
- the points you “gift” the Killer are a huge waste of time that the Killer could have gotten much sooner if you would just end the game.
- this is not the equivalent to Killer gifting hatch.
Killer isn’t getting a 1k bump from your action. Your wasting time and disrespecting the Killer. If you wanna be nice, then leave or sit by a hook and get killed.
How do you not see how toxic you are?
Thank you for telling me about that. Sometimes I would stay to give a hit but I didn't realize it was insulting. Eventhouh it's toxic as you say the intention behind it is most likely not.
-
I would like number 6 and number 2
-
Finally someone understand self preservation is a good perk.
It's a great anti tunnel perks if someone takes a hit and it counters infections fright well.
-
I have a question.
Most killers play to win right? So don't need some stress in order to win?
To me It doesn't really seem to make sense to win and be calm at the same time.

An action hero in dbd? Doesn't really seem to fit so no. He shouldn't be in the game.
-
This problem is really getting our of hand. I'm sorry you had to play a match like that.
-
I guess you can call it a tactic. If I running a healing build with a med kit I want to prolong the chase as possible by getting back to health state. I don't really do it to insult the killer.
Side question: do you always suspect survivors are being nefarious in their actions? If you do that's probably not a good mindset to have.
-
I find survivors fun because I had really good and fun memories as survivor. Its why I'm a survivor main.

6. Killer: distressing, making your tr large can help in a lot of cases, especially doctor. Also helps for gettign bp in deviousness quicker.
Survivor: detectives hunch, hands down. Gets rid of totems, helps me find what gen to work on next, and helps me find chests. Its buff a while ago made it so good.
7. Killer: insidious. No perk should encourage camping and it used to counter the anti camp perk.
Survivor: Vigil. Kinda useless in most cases and not worth a perk slot.
8. You know it, coal tower. Balanced both ways.
9. Midwich honestly even though i crap on haddonfield a lot. Holding w isnt fun for either side. Slowly following a survivor or being followed for a minute before chase happens isn't fun.
Thank goodness someone knows Detectives Hunch is amazing.
