I think Hag would be a fairy and grass type.
Deathslinger just a pure steel type
I think Blight would be a dragon type.

i think twins would be one of those fairy types that aren't really "cute" looking, im gonna go with Fairy/Normal or Fairy/Dark
Twins would definitely be a fairy and dark types

I send positive mail to people on the same platform as me too. It feels so good to be nice to others.

now i was more thinking a power for the killer that reverses survivor movements or freezes them in time (stuns them basically), they cant take damage but cant do anything either making the game an effective 3v1 for the duration.
i was not expecting suggesting a perk (that can be used on anyone, ie Nurse and Spirit) to be able to reverse a fully completed generator.
this with ruin/undying on an angry napkin? if you manage to lose that something has gone wrong.
and don't get me started on the list of issues that resurrection would have.
Can we also talk about the list of bugs that can arise from this? Especially considering the fact that dbd not the most stable game and bug free game in the world.

I can't really give my opinion on it since I haven't really seen it at all.
-
Would it be fun if trapper could throw his traps into places as much as put them down normally? I would think it was fun.

I have a question about 1. You said people should play for your own fun but there is a problem i noticed with that. If people play for there own fun then doesn't that mean that it's fine to be toxic to other players. I mean people have fun by making the other sides fun unenjoyable right? So if they are playing for there own fun and that is how they have fun then it's fine to be toxic?

Bestie I'm sorry but I'm going to have to have him

Did you bring a key, tbag, flashlight click, have OOO, or otherwise do something that would be perceived as toxic?
Is object of obsession still considered toxic?
-
Slugging in my opinion is fine when used as a strategy to help win the game. Slugging becomes a problem when the killer decides to leave all 4 survivors on the ground without hooking them to let them bleedout instead of just ending the game. You are literally stalling the game instead of just ending it in order to make the other sides game unfun which in my opinion is toxic.

I'm sp glad they are bringing back the road map. at least now it seems like they have a plan and not just doing whatever

I wouldn't mind if pallets were a little bit less safe than they currently are, but not like that.
A little less safe how?

I could possibly be a balancing thing but I'm going to assume that the devs are experimenting with perks that activate with both special and basic attacks.
This could be the first step in testing to see if the perks you mentioned and future perks would be overpowered if they activated with basic and special attacks and maybe in the future we could see buff to those perks to included it both attacks.

The thing is, we can't just "ignore it" because the GAME DEVELOPERS will listen to this, side with it (partly because of its sheer numbers), and then patch the game accordingly.
I doubt it. Survivors have been complaining about these strategies for years now. If they wanted to do something about it then they would have already. The devs themselves have said these are legitimate strategies the killer can use to win.
They aren't going to listen to complaints about it so I wouldn't worry.

Is anyone willing to give hatch to a friendly Adam main?

There's always the option of experimenting with builds that utilise the playstyle particular to you, as opposed to the standard builds used by many others. @alkis has the right idea: Don't choose a build based upon what certain YouTubers, streamers or such say are the best; choose a build that suits what you want to achieve and feel free to experiment. Playstyle is much more important than perks anyway.
Here's some other builds that may be fun to try, but also quite effective and gives an idea of messing about with perks:
The Trickster (survivor build): Red Herring/ Deception/ Diversion/ Lucky Break
The Scout: Deja Vu/ Detective's Hunch/ Saboteur/ Dark Sense. Also use a map with the Glass Bead and Crystal Bead add-ons
The Prospector: Plunderer's Instinct/ Appraisal/ Ace In The Hole/ Built To Last
The Magician: Red Herring/ Repressed Alliance/ For The People/ Distortion. Use any item with an add-on that rapidly speeds up its effectiveness
The Soap: Flip-Flop/ Boil Over/ Breakout/ Power Struggle
The Avenger: Smash Hit/ Decisive Strike/ Head On/ Breakout with Torch item.
The Breaker: Saboteur/ Breakdown/ Deliverance/ Technician
Basically, if you're not worried about winning everytime, just experiment to see what fits your style! It may not be "the meta", but if it's a perfect fit to your style, then it may become your unique meta.
I completely agree. I have been experimenting a lot lately and having fun with a few new builds. I'm currently trying to make a bunch of different builds with atleast every single survivor perk and its going well.
I did Botany Knowledge/ Desperate Measures/ Blood Pact/ Leader. It's so fun having faster heals. People need to experiment and try out different things.
(I have some other fun builds if you want to know)

I like Adams lore. Mainly because I relate to it in some ways
-
That's the same with me as a survivor. I want to use different builds to try and have fun but the with the way how killers play and their perks and addons they bring I can't change it in order to have a chance.
So I guess In some way I understand.

This would work, test it out in a PTB. If its bad scrap it and if its good, live servers here we come. Its just the amount of tokens you get per match? Maybe have it like a token for every gen completed?
I would say give the survivors 3 tokens by default. If that's too much make it 2 tokens.
I haven't decided if it would be good to use consecutively or one after the other with exhaustion.
I do know that if you run out of tokens then upu permanently have the exhaustion status effect so that you can't pair it with another exhaustion perks.
-
Oh there are a ton of underrated perks I love
Detectives Hunch
Wake Up
Autodidact
Off the Record
Desperate Measures
Aftercare
Repressed Alliance
-
I love them all. I'm disappointed they didn't do one for all kill chapter
-
I say just limit the number of times you can use dead hard. Put it on a token system. If you limit the number of times you can use it that makes it more skill based since the survivors have to think of when it's appropriate to use dead hard or not. Have the survivors question "should I use it now and risk a time in which I can use it later or should I save it and take a down?"
What makes me hesitant to this idea is that it sounds good on paper but It could be really bad in practice. You don't really want to destroy the perk. It needs some experimenting and testing to be approved.
Although I would prefer they fix dead hard so that people aren't exhausted on the ground when using it for its exact purpose. Do this first then change it.
-
That is scary. Imagine a phase walk then down by a chainsaw
-
Literally over 400 comment on this issue of optimization and no dev or mod have commented yet.
Let that sink in
-
I'm a survivor main.
I can't speak for everyone but I would like a hug from time to time from the killer.
Other then that play how you want I guess. As long as you aren't being mean.

It's such a shame people hate elodie because of the bug. She is so stylish

Currently I was experimenting a bit with second wind and found a at least decent build if I included self preservation.
Self preservation
Bond/ Empathy/ Aftercare
Second Wind
Botany Knowledge
I hope you like it

I totally agree. Again, I don't want to pick sides, but in my relatively low game time (500 hours maybe) I've not ever had a killer be rude to me after the game. Not once. Never. A couple were kind of pricks during the game itself but usually nothing too serious. Many of the survivors I've gone against (or even played with), on the other hand, seemed very entitled to not only win the match but also mock the killer and scold anyone in their ranks who didn't play the way that they wanted them to.
I'm 43 years old. Junior high was 30 years ago for me and even then I didn't act like so many of today's players do. I don't get it. I don't understand the rise that some people get from trying to make a multiplayer game worse for the other players. I don't understand the joy that some people feel from trying to ruin other people's day. It doesn't hurt my feelings, it just makes me shake my head. Like "wow, someone actually felt the need to say that. I wonder what his home life is like". Then I just get depressed that each and every one of them help to keep this game in a perpetual cycle of negativity. It's so unnecessary. I play games to get AWAY from irritating people.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2188731#Comment_2188731
Same here. I'm decent as a survivor but know that I still need improvement (especially with looping, which I despise and have no interest in, but know that I HAVE to get better at because so much of the game revolves around it). If I'm a killer and try to catch someone who's a great looper I usually just give up and go look for something else to do rather than waste my time learning nothing more than how popular teabagging is.
I'm convinced something about dbd brings out the worst in people. I play in a swf and they can be a toxic at times. I don't agree with it and I hate being toxic. If everyone is OK I leave immediately and don't join in on the toxic behavior. But outside the game they are kind and nice people who have been good friends with me. I love them. But I'm always asking what about dbd brings out the worst in them.

Yeah I mean I really don't like taking sides or generalizing but my own experience has been that 100 percent of the negative behavior / toxicity has come from survivors so far. I feel legitimately embarrassed when I go to escape and everyone but me is doing the teabag dance. I wish I could say to the killer "I apologize for these guys, we're not ALL twelve years old". Similarly any trash talk I've seen in the end-game chat has been from survivors, sometimes even directed at the other survivors.
I know that this doesn't describe every survivor but it's a shame that it's so prevalent. If the reason why survivor matches get significantly less easy to find in the evening because killers just don't feel like dealing with sweaty survivor teams, I honestly can't blame them. Like you said, they're just making the lobbies worse (and therefore making the game worse for everybody) by being that way.
I have the same feelings as you. I'm a survivor main and I hate the fact that other survivors ate rude to killers. It just makes me feel terrible that they had s bad game because of my team and I feel we responsible. Survivor toxicity is a big problem that not only effect killers but survivors as well.

Inner Strength underrated? I consider it the best perk in the game and my friends have it as well. Who says it's ok or bad?
I say underrated because I don't see a lot of people use it. I could be wrong though.

My favorite underrated perks are
Detectives Hunch
Off the record
Self preservation
Wake up
Autodidact
Desperate Measures
Inner strength
Smash hit
Aftercare

Just -5s in the cooldown or reducing the wideness of the cone. It would be good.

Yes everything is toxic. Playing survivor is also toxic. So therefore you are toxic.

- Us killer mains should thank our survivor friends for giving us matches. We try to kill, they try to escape.
I swear people seem to treat this game as an extreme power fantasy over other people.
-
I agree. Even if these meta perks are annoying or unfair they are nessacary to counter the strategies that the other side uses to win. Without perks like bt or ruin these strategies would have 100% success rates which should not be the case.
