Lmao. That was so blunt kinda got me off guard. But to be serious you sont remove a killer because of the players playing him, but because of how powerful the killer is. He's very balanced imo
Obviously he needs a change, but the remove him was me joking around because idk if u can fix him lol.

Most Toxic Players on Top of it. They prob just move to Freddy

Yeah. Just like everyone was gonna play F13. And then everyone was gonna play Last Year. And then everyone was gonna play HSH. And everyone was gonna play prop night. And everyone was gonna play Dead Silence. Yeah all these games were said to be the DBD killer and yet here we are. So now it's everyones gonna play VHS. And in a few months it will be everyone's gonna play "x,y,z"
VHS is free and I prefer both games prosper....however, I won't blame people for leaving DBD as it seems like if you are in the circle you have a voice.. otherwise you are just a number. Again....I want the best for both and VHS looks to lakc in some spots, but gameplay is promising

They do both. But people on this Forum fail to realize that "listening" does not mean that they change something, just because someone wants it that way.
We have this with discussions like Exit Gates regressing - people claim Devs dont listen, meanwhile, they already tested it and are actively against it.
Well, clearly they don't try the right things. I had posted a survey year ago with over 300+ votes and majority wanted the game to be fixed over anything else. No they still work on chapters, they still build all this lore, they push out bunch of skins....for what? For a game that doesn't work? And if it does, they keep making it easier for survivors to win?
They listen to survivors...specifically the same 30 twitch streamers or close affiliates. They are all they ever listen to. They rather rework Legion despite everyone has kept saying TRAPPER and PIG need something. It's not the community the listen to. They listen to a small few they like.

Big emphasis on USED to. They USED to come on here a lot too, they just don't anymore. THey have become exceptionally alienated from their playerbase.
Just like every other big corp....sell out the player base for profit everytime. They never learn. Eventually everyone leaves and then they are never trusted again by the time.the sequel comes out. Look at Rainbow Six. They were trusted, but then ignored the community and now here is a new game. Majority of people don't want to play it cuz they know.

Me neither, I personally don't mind killers that aren't fun to play against in general though, as long as they're balanced. I think Wraith is in a pretty balanced spot rn.
A wraith here and there is fine....but it's every other match now. He is pretty common and it gets to the point where I get off for the day.

I honestly love going against chase-oriented Wraiths. You can beat a hit & run Wraith but it's boring to play against those ones IMO.
Problem hit n run is how they want you to play him. They sacrifice the fun parts of him a long time ago. He needs a revamp, a change
-
@GrimoireWeiss said:
You'd just turn him into invisible Legion lol.
Actually he be more viable then Legion😝. Both need reworks, and it's like Michael Myers. They are outdated and the abilities can be spiced up to more fun.

Either A, you are a Killer pkayer in which case GREAT NEWS, there are currently 23 other Killers you can play as, and if by some odd chance none of them tickle you pink you do have another one coming in a week or two Id say.
Or, and this is what I assume to be the case, B) You are a Survivor who is unhappy that Wraith is no longer a complete joke to go against and are attempting the tried and true "not fun" defense, in which case here is some advice.
Git gud
Actually I play both, since you know a normal person plays both a good amount and there isn't a Killer Main or Survivor Main unless you ONLY play one.
But, besides that, I personally think his ability lacks any fun on either side. Just uncloak, hit, cloak, repeat. There isn't a so desired skill in such ability and his ability in fact prevents him from playing in a chase. It comes down to, Oh am I by a pallet or window? It's objectively a bad ability.

I can’t really emphasize with you on that, but I do feel sympathy. If my mains were changed for the worst, I’d probably throw a fit as well.
Can only hope that whoever designed them will listen to feedback.
I get they made the changes and some were well done, but it just sucks my two mains Feng and David really got shafted and look worse.
-

I main Jake and Yui. Both of them looked great before and they still look great now.
That’s all that really matters to me. Although, I do miss Jake’s old model sometimes.
Jake and Yui look good...they didn't need a change, but Sheriff Jake is a shmexy man indeed.
I just think changing characters like David, Kate, and Feng for the worse isn't fair. They didn't need it either and look worse now.
It's not even Nostalgia either because I think most of the faces look good to fineish. It's ok to not like the faces and it's ok to like them. Being dismissive of the issue is frustrating, because those same people will always defend the game even when console was and still can be unplayable.

Christ, this is like the "new animations screwed over old animations" debate all over again.
- No, a cosmetic isnt neccesarily ruined, more than likely, you're used to the old faces.
- in the cases that a cosmetic IS ruined, it's just a matter of time for them to address it.
- Your purchased goods are non-refundable. So they wouldnt give you auric cells or a cosmetic exchange just because you dont like a cosmetic right now. Why would they? You had reasons to purchase a cosmetic, your cosmetic is getting adjusted for free after you purchased it. You do not have to pay to get your cosmetics reworked if needed.
I didn't mind them being reworked, but they changed many of the faces drastically and made them worse.
ADJUSTED is terrible term to use because I never asked for a Feng, Kate, or David to be fixed. They were fine before. My reasons for purchasing cosemtics was because they looked good on the character BEFORE. Now they don't.
Give me the old face as an option even. David objectively is far worse, along with Kate. Not to mention they changed facial hair itself and not the cosemtics individually. That's my main issue.
THEY DIDN'T TOUCH THE COSMETICS, THEY CHANGED THINGS AROUND THEM THAT RUINED THEM.

Virtual goods include but are not limited to virtual items (characters, accessories, items such as “character customization”, power-ups), points, credits, tokens and currency (collectively, “Virtual Goods”) for use in the Game.
Auric Cells are classed as "Virtual Goods" as well as cosmetics.
Virtual Goods are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own the Virtual Goods, and you acknowledge and agree that all Virtual Goods represent a limited, personal, nonexclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable and fully revocable license to use the Virtual Goods, for your individual, non-commercial, entertainment purposes only. You have no right, title, interest, or ownership in or to any Virtual Goods. We may terminate your license at any time and at our sole discretion.
You do not own these Virtual Goods- you are licensed the currency and the cosmetics.
BHVR has the absolute right to regulate, discontinue, update, modify or eliminate any Virtual Goods at any time in its sole discretion and BHVR shall have no liability to you or anyone else for these actions.
BHVR have the right to change these Virtual Goods at any time.
Virtual Goods have no monetary value, and in no event may you sell, transfer, trade, exchange, give, convert or redeem Virtual Goods for “real” money or other goods or services, including other Virtual Goods, inside or outside the Game except as expressly permitted by this EULA, the BHVR Terms or otherwise permitted in the gameplay.
You cannot exchange one Virtual Good for real money or other goods or services, including other Virtual Goods.
All purchase of Virtual Goods, whether made with “real money” or virtual currencies, are non-refundable and non-returnable and are not redeemable for any sum of money or monetary value or virtual currency from BHVR at any time.
All Virtual Goods purchased, no matter how they are purchased, are not valid for a refund (non-refundable) at any time, for any sum of money or monetary value or virtual currency from BHVR.
This is what you agreed to when you first opened Dead By Daylight. You cannot get a refund for your purchases as outlined in Section 5 of the EULA, and BHVR has the right to change whatever aspect of their product that they like without liability nor the obligation to offer a refund.
You can ask all you like, but legally they do not have to do anything and most likely won't. Only one refund has been given out ever to my knowledge, and it was for the Leon and Jill Very Rare skins, which became a set shortly after release (having been released unlinked).
So, again, no refund of any kind.
So that leads to another issue I have....
Why do I have to BUY a game then after I bought it, I get asked to agree to the terms and conditions? I can't ask for the refunds afterwards.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
You cannot, under the EULA you agreed to when first playing (and continuing to play) DBD all "Virtual goods" (including skins, power ups, currency, or characters) are non-refundable. This is shown under Section 5
I don't care for a refund as in money, but a refund in Auric cells at least.

Hag might need to be similar to Twins. Traps need more distance from the hook and she is perfectly fine.

oh just you wait after spirit its slinger and hag
Deathslinger is boring, and him aiming instantly unlike Huntress is dumb,, but you have people take hits or tty to pre throw pallets and be safe. Hag has counters she just has really good defense.
Spirit gets free hits if you just listen. Survivors are guessing. Which how her ability was suppose to be.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
The only thing unfair about Spirit is her stand-still mindgame. Other than that, she's at the power level that all other killers need to be at.
Idk about that. You can't read when she is in it, about to come out, nor read which way she is going.
She can bait a chase and just decide to go back to the hook. With no warning

I would not put Freddy over Plague for sure. I think Plague is more useful even if survivors don't cleanse and has dope ass addons.
She definitely does, but she needs corrupt intervention desperately as she has no map pressure and struggles in small maps as well.
She seems to be always underrated or overrated when she is like Doctor...Average

How is he easy to counter? you can use his power at most loops. He's deadly at both normal shack and butter shack, he can counter both shacks, he can use his power effectively on medium loops and LT walls, he shreads through pallets, he doesn't fall for W.
Compound 33 makes pallets non existent, irri Blight Tag makes him insta down. Then there's the strongest addon combination: Alchemist Ring + Blighted Crow, with this he becomes a slugging machine, he shreds through BT, insta heals or anything else. His power is never not available to him.
Survivors really need to know what they're doing to avoid getting hit around objects with Blight, whereas with Oni, again, he's an M1 killer until survivors mess up, which means he's weak to predropping and W holding in a way that Blight just isn't. It's much much harder to be good against Blight, than to be good against Oni.
Obviously the Blight player needs to know what they're doing too.
He is great, but you can read him easily as he aims for a wall first and most blights pick the closet wall too them which is a ez miss.
Good Blights are scary, but ONI has a a higher floor with the same ceiling and he has that add-on making him be able change his gameplan completely.
He just can end a match in a burst of seconds, unlike Blight.
I love Blight and Main him with Clown, but ONI on average is more of a threat.
-
@NekoTorvic said:
There is no way that Oni, a basic M1 killer until survivors are sloppy enough to give him his power, can be above a killer like Blight, who has the best map pressure in the game and a power that is usable in and out of loops as long as their player's skill can compete.
If survivors play it safe, Blight shreds through pallets and catches them while they're in the open.
With Oni, if survivors play it safe, Oni can break pallets, then waste a million seconds catching up to W holding, then repeat.
If you're talking "objective", Blight objectively has more frequent tools at his disposal to deal with survivors at all times. Oni does not.
Ah, but Blight is far more easy to counter when he is charging. Not to mention Oni has stronger add-ons, more perk builds and as well just being able to locate survivors with his ability as well. You get more from good play with Oni. I love Blight, but you need to be on your A game and have little room to mess up and even if you are on top of your game, you still can be counterplayed far more easier.
-
@Aneurysm said:
I thought this was gonna be an -objective- tier list, like doing gens S, saving teammates B and totems F
I CAN MAKE THAT FOR YA😂. But you did it already. Power Gates C btw, Hatch A
-
@Trickstaaaaa said:
Trickster with his buffed version will be at least an -A tier. I would put huntress and the twins over demo. Overall demo is a b. And oni is below blight and the hag. But nemesis is a B, I will say he is weak in the beginning so you start of slow, but you build power in the game and he easily become a strong killer.
Idk...Nemesis is in the same situation as Michael and Legion are in though. If you want to use the ability you need extra steps. He also is one of the worse killers easily without add-ons.
-
@CornHub said:
Demo above Deathslinger & Pyramid Head above Twins?
Deathslinger has a great 1 on 1 game, but he can't do anything about a good team.
Pyramid Head is above Twins mostly because of the ability control he gets. Twins like Plague can't use their ability if the survivors restrict them. If you are chasing a person and they have a teammate who has Viktor, it's just a normal just. Pyramid head has at least something.
-
@SomberNokk said:
Huntress and Plague are too low and wraith and demo are way too high.
Huntress is just a issue because she is good on PC, but lacks in console. I didn't know if I could commit to her being that high when she can be inconsistent as well with indoor maps.
Plague is has the Legion issue where she can be countered into not using her ability. The survivors are in control of her ability working.
Demo is mostly that high because Save Best For Last with alternate attack is really good. I was consdier putting him lower because his portals, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DON'T WORK. Just it's too good. Mans a savage.
Wraith is far better with a slow paced game where he hit and runs, sloppy butcher and thanataphobia only compliment that playstlye and Wraiths add-ons can make him very scary. Without the add-ons I understand what you would mean.

Where do you disagree?

This opens the doors to playing Survivor to grind for Archives challenges and Rift levels for consoles. They're not fixing it but I am very glad they're extending it.
ITS UNPLAYABLE ON BOTH SIDES. Survivors will mess up gens cuz skill checks freeze the game, pallet throws will get you hit and sometimes, once you throw the pallet. The game makes you slow vault it because IT'S JUST BAD CODING.

In fairness to BHVR, whenever they have an update for console they have to send the build to the individual company microsoft/sony/nintendo to make sure it doesn't break their operating system. That submitting and approval process takes time.

The game doesn't run on pc without frames dropping constantly. The game needs to be REBUILT from the ground up. More DLC will only make more problems.

Well what do you mean by this i mean if a console breaks you either have to get a whole new console or buy parts to fix it/get someone else to fix it which can be expensive depending on what breaks
A PS4 is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper and if you think you're better for it or other people are missing out for not having one you're ignorant.
