Hacking is getting ridiculous. I'm not at high MMR, but the streamer I mod for is and he's getting an average of one hacker a night. Very obvious hacking too, like instant heals, teleporting/flying across map, holding game hostage by not allowing DCs, etc.

Playing survivor is painful. About book, one can skip it.
No, I mean physically painful. Causing nausea and migraines. Playing survivor is annoying.

At first it looks like not a big deal, but I got my first 0K with it since patch release. Funny thing is that on next pages it is promised to be more severe 😊
On the other hand, it's a challenge. Challenges and achievements have to be hard.
It’s not challenging—it’s painful. There’s a huge difference.

I just did my Orange Glyph and I got to enjoy a neat little overlay and some some pleasant sounds. It didn't even feel like a challenge and I got it done quite easily in one game. Almost a shame I only get to do it once.
These are challenges not cakewalks. They are also optional.
I look forward to the next orange glyphs, I actually think they did a pretty good job.
The issue isn't the glyph being challenging. The issue is lack of accessibility. No gameplay element should cause players physical pain. A feature that gives players severe headaches or worse is simply bad design.
-
The constant noise is incredibly unpleasant and combined with the constantly-moving rings on the screen, it gave me a migraine. It's not difficult--it's physically painful.

Thanks for all of the comments. Maybe consider changing the wording so it's clear, BHVR?

I have repeatedly escaped as a survivor with the invitation and not gotten a mask. I’m also ended game as killer after getting the invitation and not gotten a mask. I’ve missed at least three today. This is really frustrating.
If we are losing the invitation after we get hit a survivor, that needs to be made clear, because I’ve never been able to get another invitation after getting hit.

At the least, snuffing a boon should make it so that totem can never be relit by a survivor.
-
Also, have block actually do something. If someone is being such a dick that I block them, I never want to play with them again.
-
I don’t know. I don’t like NFTs, I hate how buggy the game is. Also, whatever update they’re doing today well apparently take me 84 days to install, so I might not be playing again.
-
Yes, please.

The Wendigo would be cool if they could climb walls like in Until Dawn.
-
I’m excited if it’s actually about them. I’d love some more Trickster cosmetics.

Pinhead’s chains are a mild annoyance at best. I’d like him a lot better if they just gutted the concept and gave him a chain weapon. Letting him use it like a whip would be pretty in theme with the lore. You can still keep the puzzle boxes and those chains, that’s fine, but I just don’t feel like his actual attack is very effective.
-
Ghostface’s SIGH when he gets hit by a pallet, Piggy’s squeak when same, Feng Min’s little “ooh” when she jumps down from a high place, the explosion of a glowing totem breaking (just the regular break sound is nice too), and the Trickster’s more subtle “heh heh” chuckle.

So I'm trying to make a name for myself in the gaming world. Whether it's a big name or a small name I still want it to be represented correctly. Let me explain. No this is not a Sob story. Looking for opinions.
So I have always had a very bad Twitch/Tourette's. Facial Twitches that is. It's come and gone in severity throughout my life. But growing up I was given this Nic-name of TwitchBoy. And it used to really hurt my feelings. Kids would come up and say, "hey twitchboy, and mimic my blinking while saying it to me.
Now I am in my 30 and this nic name was given to me far before Streaming TwitchTV was a thing. So often people just assume I stream on Twitch. Even though I do I feel like they just assume I stream of Twitch because the name TwitchyMike. I came up with a way to own power of the name that used to bring me down. And I think it's catchy. What do yawl think when you see my name?
I would assume you stream on Twitch as well.

At least he hasn't lost his ability to come for you.
I’m very thankful that he can still come for us all.
-
I’m sad that I never got to hear him come in real time.

That would look cool.

Are they visually taller as well? It might just be the new design, but they look taller to me too. I don’t think this changes anything functionally.

I hope tomorrow is better for you.

What are you talking about? It's a demon/angel from hell/heaven. Did someone unironically listen to the mortally challenged line from Doom Eternal and start including interdimensional monsters as a minority group??
The Chatterer was gay as a person before they were turned into what they are.
-
Matches against pinhead are just buggy. One good old fashion crash during the match, one crash after (I was spectating), and the game lags half the time when he throws chains.
-
If a killer is being sought, I will sometimes start crawling so they’ll focus on me instead of just leaving me down and going after the other survivors. If I’m up a level in near an edge, I will also try to crawl off of an edge so I fall to the next floor, and waste more of their time. I’ll also crawl to get the killers attention fixed on me if there is an injured Survivor nearby so they can get away. Also if it’s my last hook, I may as well start crawling. I know I’m not getting away, but it wastes a few more seconds of the killer’s time.
-
So I’ve been curious about how much hatches are actually used, and keeping count of keys too. I’m not finished yet, but so far, in 41 matches, there has been exactly one key escape with a Key they brought in. There has also been exactly one escape with a key found on the map. To give you an idea, I’ve only been in four matches where people actually started with keys. There have been a total of five hatch escapes including those two, and not counting ones given by the killer.
-
I was expecting boulder punching.
-
All right, now that I do understand how it works, it’s just the same number ranking with different names. I’m still getting matched with people of all different ranks, so why even bother with the big change?
-
I don’t understand how it works yet.

Besides the Entity itself, cosmic horror is usually reliant on being too surreal and fantastical for our minds to fully comprehend. They doesn’t fit well with chasey chasey horror.

Hags over-protect their totems.
Very true. I had a hag that trap ruin, And I was able to keep her busy for most of the match just by popping the trap, having her come to reset it, and then doing it again. She could have chose to do other things, but she was dead set on protecting that ruin.

The pallets sometimes have a bug where I can’t throw them, even if I’m standing in range and pushing the button. So yes, pallets can be abused, but there are issues on both ends with it.

1: I haven’t kept count, but I can do that. Maybe 40% of the time.
2: Too often.
3: Yes, and I run Detective’s Hunch or Small Game if Detective’s hasn’t come up in the web.
So, I’m going to start keeping count of how often I encounter know it and how often it gets players killed. I’ll come back to you in like 50 games.
-
The Trickster’s “Cut Through U Single”. Interesting concept, but you’re not likely to have survivors so close together that you can throw a knife and have it go through one survivor and hit another.
-
As a survivor main, ruin is more annoying because you’re often forced to leave a gen and let it regress. Ruin is more easy to deal with, though.

1. How often do you see NOED in your games?
2. How often does it get you killed?
3. Do you cleanse totems?
-----------------------------------------
1. Probably 1 in 10 games in Purple/Red
2. Not very often, assuming it activates. If it's up and I can't find it after a cursory look (assuming I'm not running Hunch), I generally don't get downed unless I'm in chase/on the radar as last gen pops - I also have no issue being greedy and opening the gate/leaving if someone is hooked. I also have no issue stealthing in the endgame vs endgame builds.
3. I usually cleanse them as I see them. Generally 2-3 in an average game or a guaranteed 3+ if I'm running Hunch.

I haven´t seen a 4 man bleed out slug in years. Do they really exist? Or do you just make things up to justify survivors BM?
Not a four-man, but I just finished a match where Ghostface slugged the last two survivors. After standing over them for a while, he finally hooked one of them, then kept picking the other up and dropping them and picking them up and dropping them so they wouldn’t bleed out. When the survivor wiggled away, he would just start the process over again.

Larger maps? ######### no. The biggest problem with RPD is it’s size.

The most common Ace wears a baseball cap, a very exquisite dressing gown and a pair of shorts. It's what I imagine having a day off all to myself would look like ... I miss those days😭
I figured that since Ace is a poker player, dressing gaudy would help distract his opponents, so it’s in character.

The stereotypes according to my experience of the trials:
• A Dwight in default clothing is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
• Default Lauries are probably the easiest of all default survivors to down.
• Ace will usually appear in lobbies dressed in the ghastliest clothing combinations known to man.
• Davids appear more and more like they're dressed for an audition for Love Island.
• Kate often is the star of the team, especially from an altruistic point of view.
• An Adam Francis in streetwear is always a dickhead.
• Ash exists for shits and giggles.
• Yui is often as aggressive as they appear, but in the most skillful and least bullying way. They're normally devastating.
• Cheryl elicits the most sympathy from me (damn her cuteness!)
I deliberately dress my Ace as gaudy as possible. I love his leopard print shirt. I pair it with the hat and eyepatch and black pants.

For me? I only kill the flashlight betas, everyone else is free to go. I need a little more personal time with them anyways, I wouldn't really have time to kill everyone in the lobby. If there are 3, I play super sweaty, tunnel them out without enjoying some good hook beating or teabags and give the one normal person the escape.
I wish more killers were like you
-
If two or more survivors have flashlights, that means that I’m absolutely #########. I play solo queue, so they are going to be flashlight bullies and the killer is going to kill me because I’m not blinding them.
Bills are generally brave and altruistic.
Feng Mins will dc or suicide on hook if the killer sneezes near them.
Players who say “I have plunderer’s” in starting chat will let you die on hook while they look for chests.
Claudettes are either altruistic or hiding in lockers only second to Dwight with no in-between.
Megs are the worst for BMing killers.
Bubbas have two moves: slug and camp.
Huntresses are the second worst campers next to Bubba.
The fancier the Wraith skin, the more likely then run NOED.
Trickster players are either ######### with their knives or laser accurate with little in between.
-
As a solo survivor, I think it’s fine. Slower killers especially need something to help counter loops.
-
@Orion said:
My only issue with NOED is that other survivors don't cleanse totems. It's not hard to know where the spawn areas are.
This is my big issue as a solo survivor. The other problem is that some maps just have bugged totems that can’t be broken. You can say “just do bones” all you want, but you’re ######### if the game won’t let you break it.
-
I could see the Trickster taking a bow, like he does at the end of his Mori , because he’s playing to his audience. Or maybe something that confirms his vanity, like fixing his hair.

They aren't in locations where you could step on them. If anything its a benefit because it reveals the locations of all the totems.
Trapper is not that strong. Even when he has all traps set he doesn't have nearly enough to cover the whole map.
Well, that's not necessarily true. Totems can spawn in places that people just walk by all the time, especially on maps like the swamp. I really think it would just encourage the Trapper to camp totems instead of focusing on gens.
