I run leader, and welcome a buff but even I think that's too much, some between would be fine... Now a vigil buff would be most welcome ;-)
-
Generalisation!!!! I am a good solo player, but am getting fed up playing with in my opinion potato SWF. The amount of games I've died on first hook and in that time not one gen done!
Got to accept, you get good/bad SWF and solo's. It is unfortunately pot luck each game -
Nothing tremendous happened but I was a solo survivor with 3 other solo's and without comms the team work was brilliant, careful sensible hook saves, doing gens together, distracting the killer to help break chases and I was injured and running to gate when healthy team mates went between me and killer.
Just thought I'd post this because normally used to playing with survivors that look out for themselves -
Should expand on the circus part for the clown and convert killer shack to a house of mirrors, so you see yourself/killer many many times
-
When you swing for a survivor, move your whole body forward..... Oh it's not a tip, just what I do..... Please tell me I am not alone in this!!!!
-
Very unlucky then
I Shall keep persevering then!! Just annoying from level 1 to 50 and cannot get survivors unique perks to tier 3
-
I remember always running to a window and getting ready to fast vault and always slow vaulting, killer must of thought, "what a potato". And of course discovering hex ruin and myself and all team mates stopping everything and trying to find it... Ooooh dear lol
-
If only Bill was not licensed!! I can imagine him in a shell suit with shiny shades
-
I know killers hate SWF but as a solo survivor main, I am more wary of look out for themselves SWF than the killer.
-
Am so amazed no Laurie's yet. Got the kinda face only a mother would love!! Mori that Laurie
-
I'm sorry but If your name rhymes with Mori then you are asking for trouble!!!
-
Thanks for the update, how did I miss that one, probably thought it was bamboozle from a distance?!!
-
When I was a panicky low rank survivor, I hated the game map, esp if killer had distressing, as it seemed there was permanent killer heartbeat. And the shrinking of swamp map is definitely better for killer
-
I often always get a first hit in as am good at sneaking up on survivors but it's that chase man. Obviously my strength is with 3rd person view and not 1st person view.
So you say bbq chili but instead of bloodhound or coulraphobia? -
I know @Vietfox lol. If I was a killer, don't mess about, try to hook always, and if they have DS, just get it out the way
-
NEA! no reason why, just have mained her for a reason. Though always a soft spot for Dwight. Gave up playing as Meg as seemed to be a killer magnet!!!
-
As an admitted poor player of killer, as I am not good in a chase, I take distressing, coulraphobia, nursing calling and sloppy butcher. Because I often lose chases to good survivors I use the above to injure them and then they will take a long time to heal and thus use NC to find them to down them
-
I agree with a "thank you" gesture to a fellow survivor other than teabag gesture and maybe a fist shake to that survivor for saving you in front of killer or failing skill check on a gen you are both working on
-
I am a poor killer, I admit it but I will still not camp. Just don't like it, I will always go looking for survivors when just hooked someone
-
Normally need to update game but was playing normal, finished a game and then menu for all festive???
-
I agree I had early game letting yourself die on hook. Does not help team but have seen people letting themselves die when they are 2nd from last survivor, as they are wanting to give last survivor chance of the hatch.
-
Killing yourself on a hook is normally a good indicator of a SWF member wanting to give their friend a chance of the hatch
-
Like it how all killers say SWF is unfair, but same can be said for solo survivor.
I am survivor main and play as solo at mid ranks. The amount of times I have died on 1st hook coz I am not one of their friends or been saved right near the killer so they get points and I get tunnelled.
I preserve still knowing this is part of the game and just have to hope you get good survivors -
Unfortunately, licensed killers cost money and I think we may have seen the last of these killers, though hope I am wrong
-
As a sole survivor player, I run self care, though would rather not. I agree the time to heal is too long but at the mid ranks, cannot always trust other survivors. I have had good games though with bond, iron will, calm spirit and lightweight
-
As a survivor main, I hate playing against him. He is not the most difficult, I just don't enjoy it. Same with Freddy as well.
-
Look at the gut on that poor bloke. Smoking 40 a day and drinking 20 pints, will knacker your breathing ;-)
-
I often get salty comments from own survivor teammates on a Friday or Saturday night.... Though sometimes I agree as let's just say I'm not at my best after a skinfull of booze ;-)
-
Are there Gameplay stats anywhere on BHR website? Good point hardly see quentin too as well as tapp. For killer I rarely see as said clown but also weirdly nurse but I am a console player. Would just be intrigued by stats. I reckon Claudette and Hillbilly are most used, with Myers most used at lower ranks
-
Obviously would be nice for sharp smooth graphics but think all us console players just want improved stability, better fps and sensitivity. (hard to get consecutive great skill checks)
-
I'm only mid level survivor and in my games, freddy makes other survivors forget how to play the game and panic. Probably at higher level he is weak, but he does well in my games at level 11
-
I know it was my own post but I am thinking more lower ranks. OK you are right, these are not the best perks at higher ranks, but iron maiden at low ranks with all those scared survivors hiding in lockers. Way to learn quickly hey
-
Any new survivor should start stealthy, until gain more confidence. Urban evasion is a must. I hear a lot of sprint burst but need to walk until ready to use it. Lithe is better. Self care yes, as at low levels, people are quite selfish and focused on surviving rather than teamwork/points. Finally bond is good, as you can find teammates to heal you or help with gens
-
Not heard anymore on this post, so in case anyone else has any info, is console optimisation going out same time as release of chapter 10?
-
Will the optimisations come out same time as new killer? Do we have a clue yet what optimisations are or it is still very broad interpretation?
-
Funny how freddy is always bottom of lists, but survivors always hate playing against him, and it's amazing in games I've played against freddy, all logical Gameplay goes out the window when people realise they are playing the Fredster
-
As a killer, I admit I am not good and need as much help as I can get, so end game perks like NOED and bloodwarden, but I don't camp, even if I don't get any kills.
As survivor I vary depending on situation. I know lately I have been playing with swf groups so they will always be altruistic so I tend to have perks to help with doing the gens and an exhaustion perk.
Also in a game I will see if I have done enough to pip. If I feel I have, I will go for saves etc, even if kamikaze -
Need to define rage quitting correctly. My wife had a coughing fit so I quit to make sure she was OK. I mean maybe I should of just AFK so my bad, but was not a "rage quit"
-
Glad you mentioned that. I was rank 13 at reset for survivor. 2 games in a row, killer DC and then I am rank 14 even though the number on rank progress bar says 0 and not - 1 annoying
-
How manly is Bill's groans of pain when he is hooked and Megs "Yaaaiii" when struggling on killers shoulder
-
I have said this previously, I work full time 5 days a week and often busy weekends. I enjoy this game but can only go on sporadically so yes, levelling up is very slow for me, so for people like me be happy if there is a way to get perks quicker
-
I get your point and I was just saying what I'd do. I suppose if I was a killer with no kills, then you would hope one survivor would go for hatch and have a chance for a capture but if you already have 3 kills, just try and find survivor and if they get hatch first so be it, you have 3 kills, go to next game. Can see definitely benefits of hatch camping for survivors with them doing gens etc, building up BP
-
I agree with rework, though I laugh when killer catches me and then I DS him and get the hatch ;-)
-
I think NOED effects occur without need for perk within the gate area so cocky survivor on full health teabagging will get nasty surprise. I always leave straight away unless I need to save hooked survivor. It annoys me survivors hanging around and I'm a survivor main.
-
I just had a game as killer. I'm a survivor main and not good as killer but I had NOED help me with 2 hooks near the gate. Last person found the hatch and thus did not bother trying to help and let them die to get hatch. Game done, I was happy with my 3 kills, then get reported for working with survivor. I was annoyed as I am always solo player, and not my fault survivor selfish. Hate getting falsely reported and is upsetting
-
It is bad luck then, was only at lvl 20 claudette to get lvl 3 self care. Similar with other characters. Just like my speed boost perks and the fact these perks are for the characters themselves, I am amazed cannot get past level 1 versions
-
I think when you have perks that do similar, then the weaker will always be redundant. My examples are hope and adrenaline. The latter gives you that speed boost at the end but also heals you a state. Hope gives you a very slight speed boost but got yo wait for exit gates. Other than MYC, which killers use the other 2 pig perks!!!!
-
Thanks for your comments and I am not alone, seems just a little wait till normal games. For now I am playing games, not for the enjoyment, but to at least get some bloodpoints to level up some of my less used survivors. BTW, say I did want to get my vials and take part. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday and often busy weekends, so for people that have busy lives, will never have time to fill up those vials, so guessing only way if I wanted outfits is to buy them... :-(
-
Bond its great, this is meant to be a horror game and I play solo. Swf is fine IMHO but voice commas should be banned
-
I welcome the debate, I just went on personal experience. I play higher rank and have level 3 bond, so if I am injured I find a survivor, get healed quickly and then join my fellow survivor doing objectives. Also gives me another slot to use. I can definitely see why SC used at low ranks and I suppose the beauty of the game is certain perks suit different game plays
