That's a lag issue not a pallet issue.No, it's a pallet issue.
The stun is happening at the end of the drop not the beginning.
Started happening a lot more after the vacuumn was removed.
They talked about moving the stun back to the beginning of the drop but nothing is in the PTB patch notes.

This mans a genious.
Let me cap my bloodpoints, not spend them, continue playing earning 0 bloodpoints, then complain about the grind.
Do you not have a brain??

And this cap is ridiculous. I think devs should not restrict if someone wants to save 10kk to level up one character, because, well, those BPs were legit. The BP cap increases the grind.
Wait what?
How on earth does the cap increase the grind?
Spend the points maybe????

whats wrong with only using unbreakable? Who has a problem with being slugged its your fault you messed up and got downed you dont deserve any more free lifes than what is already in the game. just use unbreakable. This isn't about free lifes or any of that garbage.
Slugging is an unfun mechanic, plain and simple.
Who wants to crawl around on the ground for 4 minutes, but then again I suppose Killers could care less.
Of course it is about free lives and that garbage!
Do you think all the crap survivors are doing is "fun" for the killer?
But that is all "needed to survive", right?
But anything the killer is doing to get his objective is "unfun" and needs to get "fixed", because "fun" is only for survivorSlugging requires no interaction between the Survivor and Killer.
If you aren't having fun playing as Killer, why exactly are you playing?
No interaction between killer and survivor?
So tell me, how exactly did the survivor down on the ground? You can't be this dumb.
This shows how much egoistic survivors are. Survivors have this mentality that a killer and 'one' survivor should have equal chance and ground because they think that this game is symmetrical.
If you didn't notice, there are 4 survivors you know? When he slugs you, he deals with someone else therefor there is an interaction.
Why do killers slug? It is because it prolongs the game and gives more opportunity to the killer to win the game.
Killing survivors is fun btw. What is not fun is to getting gen rushed and have 1 or 2 hooks in 3-4 min matches. Slugging is fun for the killer but not fun for the survivor. Gen rushing, saving people from the hook and escaping is fun for the survivor but not fun for the killer.
Deal with it.
There is no interaction with the person that is slugged.
Hookiing and killing Survivors progresses the game.
Doing generators progresses the game.
Saving from the hook progresses the game.
Escaping progresses the game.
Looping has interaction.Apparently the Survivor on the ground being slugged is interacting with the Killer chasing someone else, WHATTT?????? I don't know what to say.
Slugging doesn't progress the game nor provide any interaction which is unfun.
The survivor on the ground is literally the RBT machine. The killer gives other survivors an RBT like pig and survivors need to get him up as soon as possible. If not, the killer will eventually down the other guy and there will be only 2 survivors left that are capable of doing something. The game will become very very difficult for the entire team. However, if the other survivors go to get him up, there will be no progression whatsoever which is in favor of the killer.
Slugging is hex ruin, slugging is pop goes the weasel, slugging is RBT, slugging is overcharge. Slugging prolongs the game and benefits the killer.
What is the difference between staying on the ground and waiting for somebody to come and save you or being hooked and waiting for somebody to come and save you? You can even crawl to your teammates + you didn't even get hooked. Next time he catches you, you will be hooked for the first time.
You don't like slugging because it massively benefits the killer. It is just like looping. You can either waste a pallet in 2 seconds or loop around it and waste 10-15 seconds of a killer and help your teammates. The killer can either pick the downed survivor and hook him while other survivor breaks LoS and hides and the killer wastes so much time trying to find him or he can slug the downed survivor and go after the other guy immediately and wastes survivors' time.
The Survivor is on the ground FOR FOUR MINUTES with no way to exit the game when slugged except disconnecting.
Being hooked last 90 seconds and even faster if you suicide and want to move on to the next game.
You just don't get it.
It's understandable if the Killer wants to chase and leave a Survivor on the ground for a short period of time, don't get me wrong.

Either remove the grab animation or close the hatch.
I really don't care anymore either way, just remove the standoffs.
-
Exits open plus aura in a 1v1 does not fix hatch standoffs.
I have no clue why they keep trying to balance both sides and keep forgetting why this was addressed in the first place.
It's a terrible idea.

I'm sure Jason will eventually make it into Dead By Daylight cause ya know people like to make money.
I think the Nun from the new movie would be creepy as fck and an interesting Killer.
-
Their change in the Q&A video sounds fine along with recovery and sabotage.
Regression is not the way to go simply because it's not fun.
You could remove Self Care but I'm not sure you'd like the result.
More SWF and even faster games? Yeah, sure.
-
Definately buy Leatherface first if you plan on playing a lot of Killer, he is not the best but you want BBQ to reduce the grind if you really enjoy the game.
David on the Survivor side also has We're Gonna Live Forever which also increases bloodpoints, but he is free.

gibblywibblywoo said:When I mentioned the timer kind of ruining it they said they had some potential ideas for it.
I was thinking a token based perk. For example
-each hook gives a token up to 5 maximum
-each token grants 10/15/20 % instant regression.
-at max tokens a complete generator can be reset to 0% (not possible if gates are powered).
-all available tokens must be used at once and cannot be spread around multiple gens
That's absolutely ridiculous. You can remove a completed gen? #########. With 5 tokens there's a very good chance 1 and possibly 2 survivors are already dead. It would be stupid powerful to be able to undo a completed gen to 0 at that point in the game.
This is the same as giving a perk like We're Gonna Live Forever the ability to ressurect a Survivor thats been sacrificied back into the game.
Completely ridiculous.
-
It's about double the amount of hours they stated.
8 games is about 2 hours of gametime which is 300 shards.
60 hours = 9000 shards.
-
1:1 would be a bit ridiculous.
Theres no need to make the game even more of a gen simulator with the perks that are already available.
I'm all for extending game length with other objectives etc, doing anything else base that applies to generators is going in the wrong direction in my opinion.
-
Depending on when they pull the PTB I would assume they are trying to do all three platforms on the 11th.
Hopefully they can pass certification.

What a lot of you fail to understand is that there is no difference between 4 good solo Survivors and 4 SWF.Now you can't be serious ? With voice communication, SWF will know where the killer is about to go and always are at least 5 seconds ahead any of his moves. These 5 seconds makes all the difference between being caught off gard (repairing a gen, or oppening the gates) and not. Maybe you can't tel the difference, because solo survivors are ahead of you anyway, but you can at least understand that guessing something from experience and knowing something for sure, thanks to voice communication, are absolutly not the same.
Guesses can be tricky, so killers might mind game their way around them. On the other hand, knowledge is knowledge, there's nothing killers can do, if the survivor knows exactly where they are.Yes I'm dead serious.
Good Survivors know where the Killer is without voice, it's not that difficult .
Like I said, they need to add something to the end game tally screen so these stupid posts stop.
-
Too much.
-
What a lot of you fail to understand is that there is no difference between 4 good solo Survivors and 4 SWF.
4 good solo Survivors will make it look like SWF.
I wish they would add something to show SWF on the post game tally screen.

While your idea has merit, I prefer my solution:", Since most survivors are determined to keep the hatch as a mechanic I propose we add a special timer/effect. The last survivor will be given a full minute to escape via hatch. After this timer expires the survivor's aura will be revealed and they will have the exposed status effect. Right before their aura is revealed the Entity will appear in the sky and "roar", as a notification for the survivor that they should get out ASAP.
The goal here is to spice up the end game. By having their aura revealed and by being exposed survivors will experience fear disguised as tension. Those first 60 seconds after the 3rd survivor dies will greatly pressure whoever is left to leave. What are your thoughts on this?"
The first point I'd like to make is that in my example the hatch is not closed. This gives the last survivor hope they can still escape. This is lore-friendly as the whole reason the killers kill is to extract hope for the Entity.
The second point I'd like to make is the timer. Survivors have a full minute to find the hatch or rush a generator. At the highest level of play, matches can take five minutes to be completed. Giving the last person a full four minutes to escape is simply ludicrous. One minute is enough to either reach the hatch if you've already found it or get decent progress done on the search.
My third point is the exposure and aura reveal. The survivor receives a definitive warning before they are revealed. Even after they are revealed they have a varying amount of time before the killer reaches them. After all, you only go down in one melee hit so you'll have to end the game quickly on your terms or win the last chase.
Overall, the reason I like my idea more is that it's faster and more empowering for both sides. These two attributes are essential to an endgame mechanic fix.
Survivor benefit - Hatch is always open, the hatch is easier to find if you've already discovered it. You can still bum-rush the hatch and escape with the killer there, you just need timing/positioning skills.
Killer benefit - One initial last chance to try your hand at hunting. An almost guaranteed final chase where you can and will have a clear winner based on some skill. Also, the end won't take 10+ minutes waiting for some toxic fool to finally leave.
Killer camps hatch and standoff is the same as before.
I don't think you understand why they are changing the hatch.
-
Play Freddy and Haddonfield offering then run into a house.
No.
-
Just remove grab from hatch, problem solved.
Closing the hatch only extends the game, same as a hatch standoff (which is why the hatch is being changed in the first place).
Killer finds Survivor or Survivor finds hatch, either way the game ends and you both move on to the next one.

Console wouldn’t affect the ptb release date. The ptb will only be on the pc.
I don't think you understand how releases work for this company.
Well from my understanding the ptb are for testing purpose to see what they need to adjust. And pc is the only platform that does the ptb. So I do not see how console would affect this.
The clown ptb was released on pc and the actual date for console was end of June and early July. One platform shouldn’t affect every other platform.
Unless ash there is something I am missing that they have done in the pass because I just joined this year. Only thing I am aware is that console got the saw dlc first. However correct me if I am but I am pretty sure pc still got their ptb for saw before the release.
The PTB directly effects the release on console.
Patch need to be certified by Sony and Microsoft and it will not be submitted until the PTB is over.
Clown PTB started May 28.
Clown released June 12 on PC.
Clown released very end of June on Xbox and July 9 PS4.The later the PTB starts the later it gets released on console.
Their six week window is September 3.

That something like this REGULARLY happens during events is just a joke.Do you have any idea the sheer number of things that can cause any one issue? Sometimes an issue is easy to solve, sometimes it's not.
That's why you always have a backup or recovery plan. As far as I know, they use AWS and there are VERY easy tools to set up a robust, fault-tolerant and self-recovering infrastructure, even I can do (did) it! So no offence but this should not happen, and the studio is not THAT small....
Definitely, the lack of backups is an issue. However, nobody's complaining about that, as far as I know, they're just complaining that the issue wasn't fixed in whatever arbitrary time frame they imagine the issue should've been fixed by.
I agree, the issue is fixed when it is fixed, nothing we can do about. But the duration is definitely (too) long
Well, you have to keep in mind that a work day is a thing, and the devs don't instantly hear about issues. Right now it's almost 10 AM where they live.
A mere 24 hours after the issues first began.
Everythings fine, just be patient -)

I can only speculate about the reasons cuasing these kind of issues. However I guess it takes so long to fix because DBD is a spaghetti code most likely....
I only see the results and if I compare those to other games...... doesnt let the DBD devs look good tbh
I see the results compare it to my own experience with programming, and it doesn't make the devs look better or worse.
I can only imagine LOL.
