Thats not counter thought im saying a way that the survivor who is being camped can also survivePlay Killer and let them go.
Killer is the power role; not you. If he decides that Survivor will die on the hook, then that Survivor will die on the hook. You don't get to ignore the Killer's presence.

That's what Saboteur is for.

Honestly, whenever I get accused for hacking, regardless of the game, I just take it as a compliment. Some people are so stone cold in there belief that they cannot be outplayed that it just helps there ego to claim people are hackers. Take it in your stride.^This. I've been accused of wallhacking despite the fact that I was streaming and even invited the accusers to come watch it for themselves.

The funny part is that people who were here from the start know how all this toxicity started, but we can't say anything without being shouted down by bothsiderists.

Why wouldn't you be able to lagswitch on console? Consoles are essentially downgraded PCs with fewer functions.

I don't see what Valve has to do with it. The match maker is on Behaviour's servers not Valve's.I believe the point is that nobody, to my knowledge, has ever enforced a region-lock on Russia, even though it's probably the only feature that's requested in every online game ever.
No idea what you're talking about, the "region-lock" for Russia is Europe even though Russia geographically lays in northern Asia
Exactly, and that has never changed, as far as I know.

If too many Survivors DC, then it's time to play stealthily, the way the game was intended.Game is more balanced now, so in a 1v1 situation, the killer has the clear advantage. It's obvious the killer will win if the game is balanced around 1v4. At this point the best you can get is a hatch standoff, which is boring both for survivor and killer. That's why I think the game should guarantee you a black pip, so you don't get punished unfairly.
Stealth is still disproportionately advantageous. Not being seen means not being chased, which means not being hooked, which means not being sacrificed.
so hold the game hostage by stealthing around the map for as long as possible in hopes it pisses the killer off into dcing! got it, thanks!
If only there was some kind of engine-type object that you could repair in order to have the opportunity to escape.

I think the point was that trapping and then hard camping is redundant and silly.I've tried trapping and then leaving, but a Survivor with a flashlight followed me to the hook and destroyed the traps before I'd even left.

It's only stupid if there weren't other Survivors around and the gates weren't close to being powered. I don't expect you to understand that, however.

Indeed. A streamer did it with one hand, literally. Even came here to brag.

How is it useless if you still get use out of it? If a killer manages to kill two survivors before their Ruin is broken and there are 4 generator left, was the perk really useless? Or if you get two moris out of a Devour Hope? Trapper and Hag can also place traps to guard the totem. It can be countered by disarming and flashlights, but it doesn't mean you don’t get some use out of itRuin doesn't need to be broken, it can be ignored. That's what makes it useless; it's a perk that Survivors don't need to play around.
As for Devour Hope, you might as well use an Ebony Memento Mori. Can't be destroyed and starts working sooner. If you manage to get two kills out of Devour Hope, it's because the Survivors let you or were too lazy to destroy it. That's what makes it useless; all the power is in the Survivors' hands. -
Were any Survivors chasing her to the hook or otherwise presenting themselves as targets?

Bloodlust needs to go. It promotes bad killer plays and requires you to learn less. It's one of the reasons I stopped playing killers aside from killers FOV and flashlights white screen giving me migraines. I hated using BL and I would instantly lose it if I ever reached tier III, because it meant for that I did not play optimally.Yes, maps need adjusting still and I can prolly live with BL staying until then, but once maps get balanced, it needs to go.
Also when you're hooked, you're not doing anything. It makes perfect sense exhaustion cooldown would go down when you're hooked.
It doesn't make one bit of sense that a hook being rammed through your chest would allow you to calm down. I'm fine with the the exhaustion counting down however but for it to magically disappear when hooked , now thats BS.
Maybe if the hook was going up the ass...
-
Any perk that the Survivors can ignore and/or destroy is useless, because they either don't have a strong enough effect to matter, or it's up to the Survivors whether or not the Killer even has that perk.
-
This is not possible for the Killer DCing because they are the host. However, I'll give you some advice: don't do a last-second switch, and you'll see a lot less Killers DCing at the start of a game.

So Devour Hope would go inactive for 2 minutes, but after that if they haven't destroyed all 4 other totems it comes back.Yes you're totally right, I was talking specifically about hex perks my mistake.
Secondly, name a single killer perk that loses it's tokens after it's destroyed that isn't a hex . Oh wait, there isn't one. All obsession based perks keep their stacks when the obsession dies. The only thing this thread holds any meaning to is hex perks. Berate me all you want for giving an alternate idea on your thread but don't pretend I'm not discussing the only topic you're actually interested in.
EDIT: PS: I'm done talking about this, I can't see there being any logical non-petty response. Please just.. get back to the discussion.
My mistake. I thought STBFL was disabled once the Obsession died. However, this isn't about buffing hex perks, but about making the perks that rely on tokens - present and future - not be completely useless once they're disabled. I have another suggestion thread for how hex perks can be not so #########.

When did the review bombing from the killer side happened? I can't recall it now.Happened when the Nightmare, already a weak Killer, was nerfed into uselessness. People always try to equate Killers and Survivors complaining, but the truth is, Killers complain about balance, Survivors complain about not winning. The two sides are not equal.

I think we have enough nerfs and it's also very simple for killers whit Devour Hope (3 tokens)
This is a buff for perks with tokens which, last I checked, Survivors also have. Besides, you can also just destroy the totem early and be done with it before it becomes a threat. You'd have to actually play around Devour Hope instead of ignoring it.
survivors have perks with tokens that they can lose?
Not yet.

Looping exploits the different collision boxes that Survivors and Killers have, thereby (almost) nullifying the speed advantage that Killers should have. Delaying the game is also not an intended tactic by the developers, which is why it's being nerfed.I call it playing smart. Going after the person who will take 1 hit to be rehooked with less time than they had before is a smart play. Going after the person who will take 2 hits to be rehooked with a full hook timer is not.
No Killer has ever asked for 4k every trial, so I'll just ignore what you said after that.
No Killer asked for a 4k every trial, but many want exactly that..
Which you know because you're telepathic? Or are you just assuming because you yourself can't adapt to Killers actually being the power role?
-
@Tomas_SK said:
That would be an OP perk as devour hope is a hex totem and when it destroys totem it destroys the perk then the killer should guard it more
Guard the totem, get gen rushed. Don't guard it, lose one of your perks. It's a lose-lose situation.
-
Yeah, but then you rank up. Besides, I don't derank on purpose. On the rare occasions that I do derank, it's because I had several games in a row against SWF with heavy loopers and just lost.

But arent hex totems suppose to be high risk high reward perks? This is why they are hexes and not normal perks right?Except that they're high risk low reward. If Survivors can ignore a perk (which they can in the case of Ruin), it's not worth using.

So you want to be a dick and not even give a barely unhooked survivor a chance
and im not saying that killers are saying they want 4k but they are basically asking for it because no matter what they keep complainingAnd some of the stuff that they complain about im ok with i dont have a problem with DS, SB, SC they honestly never bothered me not even pallet looping
They had a chance to not be found, and two chances to lose the chase. Sucks for them, good for me. This is PvP; we're not on the same team.

Screenshots they not even look at, is like 0 evidence.
Official answer from a Mod: You have to upload video proof to YouTube and paste the link to the video into the in-game after-match report form. That's the ONLY way, sadly.Kinda dumb imo. It's like they assume that everyone will record their matches just to catch hackers. Would be different if it had some sort of replay feature like in heroes of the storm (i know, different genre but still) and a feature that lets you save the match on your pc.
If hackers were as prevalent as some people claim and seem to believe, they'd definitely record every match. The fact that they don't says a lot about the actual number of hackers they encounter.
How would they do that? They don't even know how to launch a patch without breaking the game.
Too true, most of the players can't program, but recording tools are available for free, and they're so simple, even an idiot could use them.

Yeah survivors are usually either Ochiduh wannabes, entitled crybabies, or all the above. But on the rare occasion you do happen to find a good survivor. The good survivor is such a rare breed. If you find one, make sure to friend them or else you won't see another good survivor for a long time lolSeen two in 1300 hours. The ones who go POOF, gone, after you hit them. And those two were nearly out in the open when i hit them. In the time it took me to lunge and hit, then turn around to check if they tried to 360 me after they got hit they were gone. Poof, magic. Not under my FOV. Not behind me. I even thought they were still behind me so i took a few steps in random directions while turning trying to shake them out from behind me. Nope. Poof, gone.
2 survs in 1300 hours. Green bill and a bright pizza dwight. Both on groaning store map in the same location even.
Now that i think about it they may have been really god like at staying behind me the whole time. How can anybody disaapear like that?
That's the type of Survivor I love to go up against. No exploits, no broken #########, just raw skill. A real challenge, and not just running around every pallet on the map until their buddies finish generators.

No matter the result, just say "gg" and leave. Leave your profile comments open only to friends, and never accept a friend request from someone you were in a trial with.
