  • NOED can be permanently and irreversibly shut down before it's activated. DS cannot. They're not on the same level.

"Get rid of Decisive, Insidious, and NOED and rank would be a lot more skill based."

He is 100% right. DS and NOED are crutch perks for bad players. Killers defend NOED until they are blue in the face but at the end of the day it's there as a comeback mechanic for when you fail, making it a crutch (just like DS). If you need this perk to get kills, accept that you aren't as good a killer as you might think. And if you complain about DS but use NOED you are nothing but a hypocrite.

I agree with him on Insidious only because it makes people play like trolls, not necessarily because it's a crutch. With a few tweaks I think it could be salvaged.

BTW I got to rank 1 with Freddy without using NOED, just incase someone wants to tell me "git gud". Also I'm sure some killer main will say something like "Tru is a bad killer" as a way to dismiss his statements, when the truth is they just can't stand when one of their own actually tells it how it is.

    Come at me.

Suddely everyone got to rank 1 as Freddy. Is this a new trend i started?

The game isn´t over until you see the point screen.
Until then everything goes. If the killer wastes a perk slot to have a chance to one hit survivors after the gates have been powered, then thats a strategy. Survivors can easily avoid NOED, if they can stop their gen rush and do some totems.
Survivors asked for a secondary objective, now they ignore it and go mad if the killer gets a comeback.

Insidious will be nerfed hard, once every survivor gets Kindred.

Not gonna start about DS. Or maybe a little bit. Survivors love to dc if they get downed and fail their DS skill check. 1 DS isn´t a problem. 4 DS are a problem. If they change DS to only be usable by 1 survivor, then they can keep it the way it is now. But give survivors a warning that more than 1 has DS equipped. So they can change the loadout.

No warning. That's what the pre-game chat is for.

  • Because an issue doesn't get solved in 12 hours or any other arbitrary timeline you draw up. It'll be fixed when it's fixed.

But I guess you want to go the super easy way

its not a guaranteed if the killer picks up the survivor with the survivor vaccum that sucks the survivor to him by a foot or two if there was no vaccum where the killer could suck the survivor to him by a foot or two he would be forced into picking up a dropped survivor in the middle of a palete where they are and it would be easier but now all he has to do is be more than halfway put of the palete and move imediatley out and sometimes it doesnt even register but gives the bloodpoints for stun after he is moving

There is no grab vacuum anymore. That might have been an excuse for before, but now it's completely your fault if you mess up the pallet timing

thier still is a grab vacuum not as much but just enough to move out of the pallet as i throw it down and he is safe and then i cant drop it as the animation ends because it never drops and gives me points for the stun but not the actual stun

There is no vacuum anymore, ######### are you talking about?

the multiple videos of proof i have on my xbox account of killers being able to pick up survivors from a good foot away

So within arm's reach? You know that Killers have arms, right?

how should a killer be able to pick up a 120- 150 pound survivor unless they are right over them thier is no arms reach they should fix it or make the animation longer if you want to suck the survivor closer to you by a foot like it happens in the game. it looks unrealistic.

Because the Killer is supernaturally-empowered by a god-like Entity. The lack of animation doesn't make it unrealistic; it just makes it look weird.

  • It's a good way to get solo Survivors to have information similar to SWF, but the devs need to be careful regarding these changes.

There is logic. Finding ways to bring solo to SWF level and then to buff Killers around that level of play seems logical.

Explain to me how it isn't? :P

But bringing up solo to SWF lvl and buffing survivors at the same time without buffing killers? How is that logical?^^

Bring up the solo to SWF ("buff" to survivors) -> Devs can buff killers more easily

My point is that they bring up solo to SWF and ADDITIONALLY buff survivors or nerf killers resp. easier pallets, worse bloodlust etc etc.

Devs CAN buff killers more easily maybe but they DONT DO IT

Dude, the only way to bring solo up to SWF is to buff Survivors.

The hatch mechanics have been known for a very long time, almost since the release of the game. Unless there's a bug, what DocOctober said is how it's supposed to work.

  • Since Survivors say NOED reward bad gameplay, the hatch should become a perk.

  • The only fix camping needs is for Survivors to stop rewarding it. You are not entitled to a free save.

    Hex: Ruin

Have it affect all four Survivors starting from tier 1 and increase the regression from Good Skill Checks with each tier. Tier 1 would be 5%, 2 would be 7,5%, and 3 would be 10%.

The problem with that is that good Survivors can still hit the Great skill check even when Ruin is active. I've fought people like that.

The bigger problem are bad totem spawns/Survivors spawning next to totems and gens get done too quickly even with Ruin.

The bigger problem is that the benefits of these perks are not worth it, compared to the drawbacks. Hex perks should be overwhelmingly powerful, forcing Survivors to actively hunt them down as a means of survival. Instead, they're mostly ignored.

There's a simple math formula that you can calculate to see if the hatch has already spawned in, very easy for the most part.

    HATCH MATH FORMULA:
Number of survivors remaining in the trial + 1=
How many generators you need to complete to spawn the hatch in the trial.

If your the solo survivor, then you'll need to complete at least two generators to spawn the hatch.

1 survivor remaining + 1= Need to complete 2 generators to spawn the hatch.

I know how it works. Tell me how this invalidates what I said.

They're not removing your freedom to do anything. You can still grief other players. You just won't be rewarded for it.

By taking away the points for an action, it makes it so that the action isn't viable/profitable. Therefore they are modifying game play. And I've never been one for much censoring of anything in my life, so I find taking away my points for the actions of a third party (the Killer) as unacceptable.

It's not their job to make every action profitable. You're the one modifying your gameplay because you want to get easy points. You can still be a scumbag if you want, or you can make (relatively) safe saves and get those juicy points. It's entirely up to you.

Just keep in mind that actions have consequences. You're free to do as you wish, but you're not free from the consequences. You "muh freedom" crowd often forget that all actions have consequences, and your freedom to act does not protect you from them.

Ruin: I like your idea, it's basically better at tiers I, II, and III. However I wanna hear your opinion on maybe a better solution to the Ruin perk that I came up with...

    Ruin:
A Hex that affects the survivors' skills at repairing generators. All survivors are affected by Ruin which causes a 30/40/50% decrease in repair speed. Additionally while Ruin is active, all great success zones will be replaced by good success zones.
The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

Usually games are 5 minutes long, Ruin will now increase this to around 7:30 minutes. This will be a nerf maybe but when the developers rework generators, then they will likely rework Ruin next.

As it is now, Ruin synergizes well with perks that increase the number of skill checks. Your idea, while good, would remove that synergy.

    Hex: Devour Hope

Bring the token requirements down by 1, across the board. In other words, it takes one token for the Killer to get that speed boost, 2 tokens to get double damage on a hit, and 4 tokens to be able to kill Survivors.
Alternatively, tokens aren't lost when the totem is cleansed.

If by "tokens aren't lost" you mean that you can still use the effects of devour hope but not gain more tokens. Then no. That would mean that when every match begins survivors almost have to find all the totems before 3 survivors are hooked. Getting permanent Exposed is already pretty powerful on myers just imagine it on other killers like nurse.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Keep in mind, though, it's only an alternative to what I believe to be a much better suggestion. Furthermore, that's the point of Devour Hope: you have to choose between saving others and buffing the Killer, or saving yourself and letting them die. It's written right into the perk's flavor text:
"If you do nothing, you have their blood on your hands. If you save them, her hunger grows."

    Hex: No One Escapes Death

Give tier 2 the double damage, and tier 3 automatically repairs a random broken totem to place itself upon.

Currently the only counter to NOED is cleansing all totems which gives Small game another use than a counter to trap killers. If a totem repaired itself it would make it a waste of time to cleanse any since it would just repair a totem and bind itself to that one.

I get it, but the problem is exactly that - NOED can be disabled before it even triggers. No other perk has that kind of weakness. My change would make it so Survivors would have to memorize where the dull totems were. That's all.
