I'd also prefer to talk about real issues (bugs or balance, doesn't matter).

Insta-heals are stronger. Why, you ask? Because they delay the point when a survivor can get mori'd.
In order to mori one survivor you have to hook them and down them again. Depending on the map, a very good survivor with a good team and insta-heals can keep the killer busy for 5 gens. Then, the game is over without a chance to use the mori.
-
That's better than a slug build. A drop-the-arms build! Legion would be stronger than Nurse! haha

The worst part is that they know it often makes killers dodge, but they do it anyway. It's like a kid putting his hand on a stove after burning himself five times. How amazing is that survivors CAN'T bring their stuff when killers CAN. @Orion, my man, this is so childish because you're forcing survivors to play by your imaginary rules or else they can't play survivor.
If you have any counter points, go ahead and use them because I'll shoot them down. There's no debate when it comes to lobby dodging over something this frivolous.
Some survivor items and add-ons are super unbalanced. They are in the game, so the survivors are allowed to bring them. But it's also totally fine if a killer chooses to not play against certain items as long as these things don't get reworked.

DS just is not gonna work if the killer have a mori.. that totally counter ds..A limited add-on that you spend BP in hopes of getting vs a perk you can bring every single match.
I fail to see the problem.Nobody talked about whether it is a limited addon, the problem is that there is no chance to use it now
You'll not always be able to use DS. But when you can use it, it has a strong effect. That's the principle of Risk/Reward.
Like Unbreakable and Adrenaline, for example. You won't be able to use these perks every game, but when you can use them, these perks will be of great use to you.

Gen rushing will make the game slowly die, but dcing is also annoying
I mean, gen rush is a problem with the start of the game.
I don't think they changed anything.
Yes but survivors needed some time to realize their powers. Loops got nerfed, now it's time for genushing.
On the killer side, nerf mori and noed to make survivors happy lulWell, genrushing is one of the survivors' "weapons".
Btw, I'm against decreasing chase time (=removal of pallets etc.). The chase is the fun part. Give the killers more time, so that there is enough time for long chases.
-
I see so many dc's on a regular basis. BHVR needs to do more against this.
-
@nararatu said:
I have to disagree. It's just how it's supposed to be. Doesn't matter if you're picking someone up or if you already picked them up, if someone throws a pallet on you, you should feel it. Not teleport without any scratches. The devs decide what is "how it is supposed to be", not the players.
In order to free a teammate, you have to get the timing right and drop the pallet at the correct moment. Why are you against a mechanic that requires skill and asking for a freebie instead?

Geez no wonder many people say survivors are OP,Especially if they all are running ds and purple flashlights. The icing on the cake is that they are swf and used discord while playing. Very fun and balanced.Yup. Therefore not so many people are playing killer, and survivors end up having long queue times.

The hatch bugged out and wouldn't let me jump in as I was chased to the hatch. then i proceeded to get trapped. If you aren't going to leave anything positive or constructive then you shouldn't reply.it's a pretty unusual scenario that you managed to get stuck into. Of course people are going to talk about it.

Why do people insist on treating the symptom and not the disease?Nerf SWF, dodging solved.
This so much.
It's similar to the DS change. It's supposed to be an anti-tunnel perk now. But why do killers see the need to tunnel in the first place? etc etc
-
@twistedmonkey said:
I agree, infact it may be a bit long, maybe 45 seconds would be better. If a killer is going to tunnel you they are probably close enough to the hook, I fear 60 seconds may punish those who dont actually tunnel and run into them by mistake looking for the one who unhooked.
This pretty much. Also a fast killer can down two people within 60 seconds. So the unhooked person did not even get tunneled but just downed again within 60 seconds.

So to sum up.You want the old DS, just that everybody has the non-obession version and that it cant be dribbled anymore.
Ehm yeah, how about no?
But Master, you forgot that @Landovil_TM said:
Do not increase the reaction check range. You have to go for excellence skills
So it's not that you would get hit by several DS every match.

Its not hard to hit skillchecks, the current DS is a harder skillcheck too, but only noobs will miss it
Of course. I know. Come on, I even put a winky face at the end of the sentence. :'(

Even if the exit gates weren't open, the killer standing on the hatch is not bannable. That's not the OP's point. I don't know how they did it, but they managed to get themselves trapped in a corner so that they couldn't leave anymore. The killer was blocking the corridor.
Hm, I couldn't get that at all from watching the video
You can see it when you look properly (if you aren't familiar enough with the building). The OP is trapped in a dead end.

I am curious how they got into that position. They had to walk over the hatch to be where they are, but they didn't jump in and they moved away enough to let the killer stand on top of it.
Exactly my point. It must have happened as you describe it and I really wonder why the OP acted the way they did.
-
It's still a super strong perk. I don't really see it as a nerf.
-
Congrats!

Nurse on console is hard.

You are probably new to the game. It's normal that inexperienced killers dominate inexperienced survivors.
Wait a couple of months/weeks and play against these very good coordinated 4 SWF groups on rank 1.
Then, we can talk about "killers being op". -
So the counters to the new DS are moris, camping to death, slugging. All things that survivors like.
That's the theory so far. I'm curious to see how it turns out to be when the rework is released. Maybe we'll get surprised.
And I really want to know what is going to happen to Dying Light, Remember Me etc. when there are changing obsessions.
-
Very good summary. It comes down to a lot of killer perks being nerfed due to this new game mechanic.
Let's see if the devs are sticking to the concept of changing obsessions.
-
Right, OP, I love to play my Freddy with Tombstone and Iridescent Heads.
In all seriousness, none of these add-ons are overpowered. This image is wrong on so many levels.

Can turn a 0k into a quick and cheap 4k. One single perk slot should NEVER be that powerful no matter what.If survivors let NOED turn a 0k into a 4k they just played very bad and deserved to get 4k'ed. Simple as that.

If DS were a multiple-use perk, the killer would know that as well.
So, after you used the first DS, what would the killer do? Let you get unhooked so that you can use DS a 2nd time? No, the killer would just camp you to death so that they don't have to deal with another DS.
-
I would read it so that other grabs count as well, for example the grab during the survivor's vault.
-
The devs seemingly have dismissed that idea. I agree with you, liked that idea better than the soon-to-be version.

Killers are under hard time pressure already. We don't need anything that helps shorten the gen repair time even more.there are add-ons that boost the repair speed at all times, this one boosts the repair speed under a condition (the gen regressing), it wouldnt buff gen rush.
Everything that increases gen repair speed worsens the current unbalanced state of the game.
-
I am also very confused about Dying Light and Remember Me. The killer kills the Obsession so everything goes in their favour and then suddenly, a living survivor becomes the Obesession so that Dying Light is deactived and they can open the exit gate without the Remember Me penalty?
-

While easter eggs are a nice thing in general, the devs have so many points on their to-do-list, there's no time for such things.
-
As the others said, just increase the timer.
Tokens would make this perk op. You could decrease one single generator by 75% in a short amount of time.

I don't like a general action speed penalty since there are a couple of perks already that slow down healing.
If that perk would only slow down gens, that could work. Like a Coulrophobia for gens. Maybe that could be a new perk instead?

No, they're mine and mine only!
Maybe I'll upload a totally uninteresting and boring video that no one will ever watch where I showcase how you can loop and mindgame a Legion.
Yeah, but focus on the Frenzy part. We don't need to know how to loop a 110% killer.

How is a killer supposed to look up when they destroy a pallet? You should play some games as killer.

If you are up against a good Legion, you'll get hit. Of course you can do mindgames against Legion, but only if the killer is bad.I used to think the same until I got good at looping & mindgaming Legion.
If you can loop the Legions you are facing, congratulations. Maybe swap with the Legions I'm getting?

The sad thing is: If a killer is nice and plays generously, which means they don't tunnel or camp, and in the end they lose because they did not put enough pressure on the survs - what happens? As a thank you, the survs will tbag in the exit gate and write a nice "gg ez noob".I absolutely understand why some killers don't want to play nice.
I rarely get that except for the few groups that'll say something bad regardless of the outcom
Good for you. Unfortunately, I see it all the time.

As the others said, report them. Besides that, ignore those racist people.
Weird story: I once had to report a guy for racism. I got insulted with anti-Chinese slurs because I played Feng. Shows you how much brain capacity these racist people have.
