If you run a killer around for 3 generators, it means that the killer has absolutely no pressure/momentum so by trying to gain this as much as possible camping/tunneling could work. I wouldn't be so bothered about it, killers waste loads of precious time when camping which survivors can use to their advantage.

Stop being a pussy and don't use MLGA.MLGA is for people who can't hack it in the real game so they must create their safe spaces.
Also I heard using MLGA is actually bannable. Can I report you for hacking the game?
I heard that EAC can ban you for it which they don't have influence on, but BHVR won't.

Would feel glad that Dead by Daylight was much more than a game and hit the great skill checks like crazy. If I get a keyboard atleast...

What is mlg software, and what does it do and how do I get it (if it's allowed)?MLGA stands for 'Make Lobbies Great Again'. A software that gives you more information about the lobby you're in and you can blacklist people so you don't connect to their lobbies anymore (if not wrong?)
-
I have this issue when any effect (ruin, mangled, etc.) gets triggered or somebody gets hit. Only happens in the beginning of the match usually though. Don't think it has anything to do with MLGA as I don't use it but have had it since forever.

Don't you worry it happens on PC quite a lot too

What was your rank before? Because I think rank 20-16 or something won't reset
-
Sometimes the game can completely turn the other way because one person has used Decisive Strike. It's okay for players who aren't too good in chases to use it, but there are also many people who have enough hours and experience in the game to know better and to play completely fine without Decisive Strike.. yet do they use it. As a killer, if you are chasing somebody who belongs to the second category I just mentioned you can lose the game just because of this perk and the chase you had. And to be fair ; I still can't figure out why a player would even deserve a second chance when getting downed.
I think many killers don't mind about normal players using Decisive Strike, but there are players out there who are really hard to catch, and besides using Decisive Strike they also use good items/add-ons, so it's not fun at all, to say the least, when going against these survivors.
-
Unless there is another survivor nearby which you can succesfully kill with the tombstone, then it benefits you that you sometimes accidentally down surivors and not straight away kill them.

And also, it is only those 2 according to the OP, so why are the rest of the survivors fine?OP is only focused on those 2 specific characters, nobody ever said that other characters are all fine.

it seems like killers can never have an advantage
But in the last few patches there were some changes which I heard are good for killers and somewhat benefit them slightly, so I don't wanna instantly throw my hope away.

I think saying that rank 1 does not mean anything is completely incorrect. The correct way to say it is that somebody who has rank 1 does not necessarily have to be so damn good to survive because they can rely on offerings, add-ons and perks. Obviously somebody who has rank 1 has a bigger scale of map and game knowledge by all the hours they have put in the game which can help them survive too. @Vietfox What makes you get the conclusion that the game is balanced..? I'm pretty curious and I think the majority of the community who plays both sides is too. @JoannaVO
Because there are many complains from killer mains that are not an issue to me at all, and i'm not the only one who thinks that way. What kind of complains? Hatch, mechanics, certain killers, etc... I would @ some killer mains who think the same way but i don't want to bother them, but if they see this probably they'll say something. You should mention them in the discussion so your nonsense can get some kind of support. You don't bother somebody by mentioning them to hope they would support your argument, if they would... Currently how a survivor can get a hatch is unfair, not just for the killer, but also for a survivor. I have been in plenty of matches where I was the one to fix 2 generators so that if the situation would get worse somebody could get the hatch, and it ended up a survivor not having done much at all (escaping through hatch with 9k in total) gets the escape. For killers it's unfair too because as the last one alive a survivor has to do nothing more but hide and walk through the map until they find the hatch. ' ''Mechanics''? Which mechanics do you exactly mean? Decisive Strike? I think saying that Decisive Strike is all okay and that killers should stop moaning about it is a argument only supported by survivors not owning much skill in their pocket. Now please, YOU come and tell me why YOU think it's balanced. Like I asked you because you've said it's earlier. Now it's more like I have to explain why I think the opposite, with which I have no problem nor do I need to involve anybody in it because I fully support my own argument based on the experience I have got in the time I have spend in the game. @JoannaVO

@JoannaVO
Offered u a KYF match since you simply don't wanna get it when using words. Yeah, exactly like a victory.Exactly, I don't get your explanation which is why I asked you to explain but you refused which means you gave up on the argument. KYF proves literally nothing, If you're so good as you say you are, you can also make a video and post it here. I don't want to go and waste my time playing a KYF match so you can avoid explaining me why you think the game is balanced, that's not how you have arguments friend.

One time, I loaded into a bugged "The Game" map. The spotlights provided the only lighting on the map. No ambient lighting. It was actually really cool design wise, making darkness a feature--- a character, on the map.Considering the stealth, hide-and-seek aspects of the game, I would be exicted to see light and darkness itself more dramatically used in map design. (Even if this never rematerializes as a blanket change to lighting as the old offerings we're.)
It's already a pain in the ass to find P3 Claudette's in Mac Millan, so damn how hard must it be to find them in a very dark ''the Game'' map.. With what I'm imagening...

I do understand that camping is a constant tactic for some people, but don't you want to get more skillfull by trying to work out other ways of playing and possibly winning? Not saying people who camp are instantly awful people that do not have skill, but I do know that people who camp will never really get ''good'' at the game because they haven't given themself the opportunity to learn new things and see what else works out.

I think what you will actually find is that the cosmetics make the killers look more scary.
This extra 'scare' factor causes survivors to make more mistakes and you will find that with the right costumes all killers become viable at rank 1.Survivors don't even get scared of NOED, so let alone a piece of clothing

Just ended a match where I did very well and the last person alive happened to be the obsession who DS'd and found the hatch right nearby. The match prior 2 had died and I downed one near a gate, the hatch placement was known. I carry the downed towards a hook and DS'd. They make it to the gate and escape while the other waited by the hatch to escape once it opened.
I just felt robbed since there was no skill involved in their escape and rather than being outplayed, I was just a victim of bad gameplay mechanics.
It just feels bad, and I'm getting very tired of it.
Anyone else?you were outplayed though had you got them sooner they would have used DS early. When you lose a hook to ds yes it sucks but it has been a part of this game for a long time. Don't blame the hatch or ds for your failures.
There is a difference between inbalanced and failure. Something that you haven't figured out yet, apparently.

Ehh, what.. Is that actually serious? Lol...
Do you have any link that confirms that?> @The_Fallen_Utopia said:@JoannaVO They stated in a dev stream or Q&A That they are not adding the hatch closing to the game. Instead they are working on a different end game where the last survivor has to survive for 60 seconds and then the gates and hatch open. During that time their aura is revealed to the killer.
Okay, it's sad that they're not doing it it because they will get review bombed most likely. But this solution works too and seems even more balanced.

I think totems should have ruin skillchecks built into them. On one hand, a killer who is applying pressure flawlessly can manage to keep his totems for at least a little while, when on the other hand, it’s so situational that it can be gone in the first few seconds.I think this is a difficult issue to tackle, but the totems are too vulnerable. I don’t like the idea of totems taking he place of perk slots. But I have a thread on that already.
Ruin skill checks are a piece of cake for experienced players and it would still go down just as fast.
-
I will never understand why rank means more to people than bloodpoints. Buy yourself better perks with the earned bloodpoints, get better and get at the red ranks while still earning a lot. So annoying to see people DC just for a item that has a value of around ~12k and/or to save their rank because it's ''so hard'' to pip as survivor lol.

How is it childish to give your opinion on a game mechanic? If people wouldn't give their opinions and feedback on everything involved to the game the developers wouldn't be able to improve certain mechanics and it would forever be a unspoken frustration.
@JoannaVO
Because some people rather complain about stuff instead of learning how to counter it.I think every killer can agree that decisive is a unfair advantage that does indeed not require skill, like mentioned by OP. Maybe the OP has started countering it? (Not like you can fully counter it since hook placements are ridiculous sometimes). I think it's good to go to the forum and give your opinion on a game mechanic, whether positive or negative, to see if others agree with you too and/or possibly gain advice from others who are/were in the same situation at some point until the developers add a working solution into the game.

It's nothing more than a nice decoration in the map that some consider as an easter egg.

For me it was quite do-able, was maining Huntress when I just started playing the game and within 100 hours I got the achievement. Well also they are different on PC vs console because you only have to do 100 blink attacks and 100 Evil Within level ups on consoles. While I think on PC it is only 20/25 hatchet throws from farther than 24 meters and on console it is 100. I do not main The Huntress and I’m bad with her hatchet throws so that will take me a while. Also I think the PC achievement is cleansing 100 hex totems and console it is only 10, so it is for sure different numbers.
Oh lol, never knew that.
