  • She just has a awful face expression, that's why I'd never equip cosmetics for her that do not contain sunglasses

  • Prove Thyself requires other survivors around you to benefit from the perk. So if you really don't want them to benefit from the speed bonus use Discordance/Surveillance.

  • Depends. If they stand still and swing from time to time, yes, because it's likely they're just farming bloodpoints. But then there are also killers who forget they started a lobby (like me) and find out they're in a game very late. But then I've also seen people using it to just derank. Depends on the case really. I think it's something you can get away with only a few times.

What about some 3rd gender survivor? Were living in 2019....

I'm sure even the entity would walk away from this idea

  • God, I just hope we get a female survivor with the DLC like Kate Denson

I agree that, just like how killers get points when somebody disconnects, survivors should be given points too that would equal 1 safe unhook or something.

So this wont be exploited right? Wrong a team that knows its going to lose can have one player dc to give the rest enough points to safety or pip. We shouldnt award people for dcing we should punish dcer with soft bans. 5 minute waiting time if you dc. This increases to a 10 minute waiting time if you dc again on that day and it doubles until a survivour goes 24 hours without dcing in dbd.

It's not awarding people for DCing, lol. You just give the other survivors somewhat a chance to atleast save pip so that they don't get screwed by the fact that somebody had to disconnect. It's unfair to punish somebody who hasn't done anything wrong. And no, this can not be exploited. There could be added a limit so whether 1 person disconnects or 3, the amount of points is the same. But atleast survivors will have something MINOR that can help them out getting a save pip.

You find it funny until you go against a optimal SWF team on comms

Uhm? Cof Cof 5 blinks nurse Cof Cof Ebony mori.. Insta down hatchets/clown bottles COF COF NOED!?

As if you go against that every SWF match... Not even 10% chance of going against a nurse with this build. This example does not add anything.
And hm, if it really affects the quality of your gameplay then you could choose to play solo. Can't always have everything. Many killers who have been playing around for a while know that SWF teams can be very annoying to go against.

So you are a Red Rank Survivor on Rank 15?

l used to be red rank before they nerfed healing and vaulting but now lm rank 12, back then red rank was easy to get

Well it still is incredibly easy to get to rank 1 :P

that is for both killer and survivor tbh.

Though killer is much harder compared to survivor, especially with perks like BT

  • I thought Vigo died because of the notes he left during the Halloween event.
So he potentially created the hatch, no idea what his main goal was to achieve with it. But even if he did escape to the real world, nobody would believe him and they'd just think he's crazy. The entity's realm would forever be trapped in his head without being able to ever come out.

  • Not only does time not exist in the entity's world, it also doesn't exist in the real world we live in. Survivors and killers just have their own knowledge created by the environment/century they used to live in. But as the entity's world is nothing like the real world, it's knowledge that can hardly be used. No matter what decade you're from.
About the hatch, there's nothing linking to it being a time machine. When escaping through the hatch survivors just go back to the campfire they can not escape.

  • But what would you want to do when you have no connection? Clearly you can't connect to anybody's lobby or they to yours, so you'd be all alone going against bots or just walking around in the fog, doing absolutely nothing

  • Usually hate means that you did something right which they don't like and therefor complain just so they don't look as bad. I use hate as moitivation to continue playing the way I do

  • I don't understand why so many people say Dead by Daylight is in such a bad state. Like in the almost 3,000 hours I have played the game things would usually work out as they should. Game does has bugs but gameplay does usually not get affected so bad that it's unplayable.

  • But vaulting is different. It's required to continue a chase for a longer amount of time. Unhooking on the other hand should practically be done when the killer is not so closeby so the rescued survivor actually has a chance of escaping, don't see why unhook speed should be increased for this action as it would make no difference at all

Survivors who leave the match because of that/people justifying leaving are even more boring

  • Unhooking literally only takes like 1,5 second lol... If you don't have the chance to unhook because the killer is too close, then just don't.

Dont get me wrong, but maybe your team was just bad?

rank 15 survivors vs a smurf

How can you tell somebody is a smurf? Might be somebody who mainly plays survivor and knows what killers on other ranks do to catch survivors

  • Usually when I go against a Myers with these add-ons they absolutely get cucked by how slow they tier up.

The killer didnt'appreciate us playing stealthy and careful which resulted in him getting only like 1-2 hooks.

Edit: It's not even really toxic or whatsoever, but the way the killer said it just made me laugh and still makes me laugh.

Yeah I always laugh at those, it's like you're mad because I didn't run in full view so you could see me and thus get me. It's supposed to be a horror game meaning you're supposed to play hide and seek not merry go round simulator.

Yeah lmao the amount of silliness keeps this game so fun for me

  • The killer didnt'appreciate us playing stealthy and careful which resulted in him getting only like 1-2 hooks.

Edit: It's not even really toxic or whatsoever, but the way the killer said it just made me laugh and still makes me laugh.

  • Get ready for the amount of negative reviews if they'd add this

  • As annoying as camping is... Some survivors get really disrespectful and throw so many insults at the killer in the end chat. Just take advantage of the situation and fix as many generators as you can. The only reason why people lose against campers is because they wanna do the unhook even though the chances of doing this succesful are lower than unhooking yourself. BT is just swapping places. Killers camp and tunnel and it sucks but why would you waste energy on it? Just accept it and move on. Try to play a bit more careful next time and hope you don't have to experience it as often.

  • Though, I see many Kate mains in this thread. Wonder if the amount would still have been this big if they would have kept the voice she had in PTB :p

  • Kate because no other female character looks as good, and the cosmetics they recently released for her just complete it.

  • I am considering to main Feng because her comsetics look awesome

  • I want to be able to show off cool dance moves ingame.

  • Sounds like it could bring fun, but I hope in 2.6 they focus on (balance) issues in the official ranked matches.

  • It's always fun how I see a lot of people during events trying to taunt the other side or going straight out tryhard

  • Great. Event starts in the week my exams start too.

It just surprises me that there's people who defend all gens being done under 4 minutes. Like, that's absolute bulllshit, it should never happen.

Then use ruin, simple as that.

What exactly is ruin? Do you mean that useless perk that gets destroyed withing 20 seconds? Or that useless perk which survivors can counter by simply hitting the skillchecks??

Great skill checks*, what do you want ruin to do then? To just keep on regressing a generator so that repairing is not impossible?
You can use TOTH to avoid instant breaking of the totem.

You should never be forced to use a perk to cover bad game design, that's absolute bulllshit.

But there's no reason to make the base game good enough to not make you need perks. That takes away the whole idea of perks.

Survivors don't need perks but the killer does or else they will get rushed. Like I said before, regardless how bad the killer is, the game shouldn't end in 4 minutes period.

Yes, killers do definetly need perks, but if a player decides to not use perks for whatever reason then the fault is kind of on the person itself that survivors do the objective in 4 minutes. It's their only objective besides unhooking. I usually use thrill of the hunt with ruin and it gives me enough time to apply pressure.

That's not the point, regardless perkless or not a game shouldn't end in 4 minutes. The entire survivor objective system is just flawed, especially when it can be bypassed in 4 minutes.

Now, @powerbats... The twitch thingy isn't working for me right now but I'll @ you when I'm able to see it! :)

Repeating the same thing over and over is unnecessary as I do understand the point you try to make. But then again, we are all aware that developers are not going to make any chances that would change this situation soon. So for now is trying to get yourself out of that situation as much as you can the only option you have, and ruin could help with that.

  • The game gets played by many young smart asses that are way too competitive. No treatment possible

  • I don't disagree that killers should be more powerful than they currently are. But I mean, many survivors in the red ranks have put quite some time in this game so I don't think you can really make it possible for killers to win without perks, unless the survivors are potato and/or the killers get massive buffs. The only point I tried to make clear is that the video provided by OP proves the reason why you should use perks, and what the potential consequences of nothing having any could be.

  • Frank's Mix Tape + Cold Dirt

  • I wish you all the luck and blessings. Hope you get in a better position soon.

Making sarcastic comments to somehow be found funny is so 2018

Isn't telling someone that their comment is dated so... idk 2008?

As long as people keep doing outdated stuff it's not outdated to tell you something isn't used anymore. That's teaching somebody about the present hun.

So you're teaching people about the present by doing things of the past also?

Yes, otherwise there's no such thing as the present. Some things should just be left behind. We're in 2019 and it can be effective telling somebody they're doing something that is outdated in order to make them live/realize the present as efficiently as possible.

And the point of my post being 2018 was? To tell me that it's 2019?

    Yes, feel reborn <3.

  • Farming Simulator 17 & 19, and Farm Together with friends. Great way to chill down when DBD gets too frustrating

  • Genrushings happens thousands of times a day. Why would it only matter for only person? :? Come with useful solutions instead of these silly topics really

Edit: Saw the streamer chose to play without perks. Uhh, I'm quite sure every killer in the red ranks knows that Ruin is required to avoid getting genrushed. Let this video be a inspiration to using ruin. Really, you choose for something, then consequences kick in and you're not happy about it.
