  • I don't think you'll meet small minded survivors like that in the game a lot really

  • Usually use both bloodhound and sloppy butcher on Wraith and it's a combination I absolutely love on Wraith. Also use bloodhound on the Pig sometimes which helps too.

  • Licensed characters are the only ones that can only be unlocked with real money.

Chapters created by Behaviour can be bought with both real life currency and in-game currency.

  • Claudette's keep on hiding and crouching around.

Nea's are bad at doing a chase and bait the killer to a fellow teammate.

LOL I must be boring huh? You act like I am the only one that wants Licensed killers when in fact there are way more than you think. Also you act like we knew exactly what the powers of a licensed killer would be. you can't tell me that you knew how it would react or the addons or anything really. lol you are funny my friend. and once again I am not attacking anyone that likes original killers. I like them also I just am requesting that they offer licensed with originals and equal distribution so to speak.

I'm not trying to attack you either. Neither am I trying to be funny here. I just think seeing something never seen before, for which they can also add any cosmetic they want whenever they want because they're the owners is much better.

  • I think it would be reasonable to give the killer the ability to hear survivors when in a certain range. Atleast survivors won't go and yell their lungs out all the time without giving their position away. ^

Survivors and killers communicating could either be funny as hell or toxic, that's why I always loved F13, because of the way the killer communicates with the counselors and vice versa.

  • Unless they somehow got revived by the entity so the entity could take pleasure into their forever lasting sufferment that the survivors can only temporarily escape by getting mori'd or sacrificed. But then, they go to the exact same spot where they would have gone if survived ; The campfire. So death seems completely irrelevant in the Entity's realm.

  • You must be boring to want something that everyone has already seen/knows instead of an original concept made by the developers.

  • I sometimes just wish there were voice comms in-game, so that when someone does nothing but crouch or keeps on hiding for no reason I can tell them to just be useful for once and work on the generator that they have crouched past multiple times. As killer it could be funny too when using prayer beads or scratched mirror.

My bf has to have sprint burst no matter what and plays very effectively with it but I personally think it ruins my style of play when the exhaustion steps in. Self care being standard however would be more beneficial and realistic, though I see killer mains wanting to scrap self care altogether?

Self-Care as a basic perk? No thanks. If you'd ask me, they should slightly nerf Self-Care more so that med-kits have more value in trials, and most important ; People will stop being greedy and actually give their teammate(s) heal points.

  • I'm sure nobody would wants to get in a situation where the luck Gods decided to let the killer find you when you just went into exhaustion. Not mentioning how easily a doctor can track and down survivors just because they don't have the ability to run.

  • You're not supposed to be in a locker for a long time anyway, so it shouldn't affect your gameplay as much. Unless you're a Claudette living in lockers. But yeah makes sense that lockers block vision as you just use them to either not get your aura revealed or to hide from a killer nearby.

That has no bearing on the conversation. You said it was not OK for killers to dodge when they don't think they can win, and implied it was not OK for them to bring in add-ons to deal with those situations. You also implied that it was OK for survivors to DC when killers brought in add-ons they couldn't deal with.

Either it's OK for killers to dodge and to bring in whatever they have to deal with tough situations, or it's not OK for survivors to DC when they're faced with something they can't deal with. You can't have it both ways.

Just because I stated the reason (which I have heard from soooo many survivors) it means that that is what I support? Uh, no. I NEVER think disconnecting is good but survivors disconnect from Legion games where they use add-ons such as mix-tape are the reason as people find it unfun that there is absolutely no way to escape a chase or counter it's effects.

Again, survivors disconnecting is something THAT ALMOST NOBODY supports as it screws your team over (so I get screwed a lot too as I play survivor more often than killer), neither is lobby dodging when survivors don't bring any items or the team seems decent, with no toxic names or whatsoever. I find lobby dodging annoying as it bugs my game out which forces me to restart my game and waste my time. You make it seem as if the killer that dodges a lobby had a team in their lobby full of flashlights, med-kits, or strong toolboxes while usually it happens for no clear reason. Just because.

That is MY opinion, which you asked me for earlier in the topic.

So killers are at fault for not facing things they don't feel like they can handle, and are also at fault for taking precautions against things they don't feel like they can handle. Simultaneously, survivors are completely justified in DCing against things they don't feel like they can handle.

No double standard here, no sir.

Disconnecting from a match is worse than lobby dodging ofcourse, which I never denied. It screws the team over completely and makes it easier for a killer to apply pressure. But then, sometimes as a survivor I try to get in lobbies but it takes me over 30 minutes to find a damn game because I keep getting disconnected from the lobby. It's safe to say that it's more than frustrating. To mention a banable offense as disconnecting when in a trial to justify lobby dodging is not going to make any point. Both are annoying as hell to the other side.

Been there, done that. I never liked Dynasty warriors either. Killer is too easy, I prefer the challenge of survivor, but I agree 100% with OP.

You find killer too easy but find survivor challenging? Lol, that I have never seen or witnessed in this game. Usually people who say this get destroyed by a team that knows how to play optimally. Unlike survivor, just get the unhooks, do a gen and you got your pip.

Has anyone else seen a bunch of trappers lately? Most of them use devour hope as well.

No, but every trapper I face always has NOED.

  • Developers literally said in their stream last October that the new chapter (which is Plague) is the oldest killer in the game.

  • It's really annoying that many killers feel so insecure about their skill level that they have to dodge a lobby with regular survivors. Unless it's some toxic, SWF team but then that's mori's got added for. Makes my game bugged too and takes way too long to get in a match. It's worse than 3v1.

  • Uhm, this game is made for grown ups... You get insulted? Ignore it and just move on lol after having your laugh with camping them. So many people in this game love to intentionally upset other people and it's absolutely not worth putting any time and effort into since it will never get better

  • People don't necessarily disconnect from the Legion, they disconnect from Legions played by lazy people who want a easy 4 man with stupid add-ons

  • Why do people say 'fun' emotes like dancing, laughing or whatsoever do not fit in this environment? They wouldn't fit in a horror game, but Dead by Daylight isn't one so they would fit in very well as this game is all about pissing off the other side and taunting each other.

Yes to emotes please, seeing people spam CTRL became boring.

Only way to make it the relaxed game it always has been is equal out the event points for killer and survivor. It's too easy as survivor to get max 45 event points at least 1/3 game and the other 2/3 its easy to get at least 20 event points granted your team knows how to do gens.

Killers are playing dirty to maximize their event points. And I don't blame them.

Are you kidding? Have you even played survivor? Looking at your BS conclusion I assume not. It's not easy at all to get those 45 event points when it's literally all against each other, and that just for a piece of clothing.

But vaulting is different. It's required to continue a chase for a longer amount of time. Unhooking on the other hand should practically be done when the killer is not so closeby so the rescued survivor actually has a chance of escaping, don't see why unhook speed should be increased for this action as it would make no difference at all

For killers sitting just outside of heartbeat or proxy camping or facecamping, this is a beneficial measure. Your argument otherwise would suggest that borrowed time be removed from the game entirely- but it has it's purpose as an anti-camp measure and as a result, faster unhook speed would synergize well with that.

My argument states that borrowed time is not as efficient. Usually it's just swapping places on the hook, or the killer still goes after the same person. Borrowed time however does work out, but I wouldn't say the amount of time it works is super high, based on my own experience. And if you would like the benefits of faster unhooking, you can always choose to equip 'No One Left Behind' .

I would like some kind of trash bin to get rid of things I know I won't use and get a small percentage back. Also on the issue about prestige that @Samayel brought up, I don't think it's that big of a problem, the devs capped the bloodpoints to 1 million for that very reason, and also for the reason that in this way players can't completely level up the new killer/ survivor, it takes about 6 million bloodpoints to reach level 50

What are you on about. It takes 1.6 per 50 levels.

1.6? When I have 1,000,000 BP I usually spend it on leveling a character from 1. Get to around level 31, then bloodwebs cost around 50-70k each which is another 950k-1,3m. And I go with whatever the cheapest is. Though, must admit that sometimes I get to level 50 much cheaper. But usually I always have to spend more than 2,000,000 BP to get to level 50.

No idea what you're doing or if you've been in a coma since 2016, but it will not take more than 1.6 to get to level 50. If you go with the cheapest options and ignore perks you can get to around 39 with 1 million.

As I said in my previous post ; I go with whatever the CHEAPEST is. I can not always ignore the expensive add-ons and perks as the entity takes their part. I try to do my bloodwebs as cheap as I can. I usually get like 2-3 brown offerings in my bloodweb from LVL 30+. Maybe you get lucky. Be happy for that.

Great sense. You're trying to say that giving away the position of a survivor (and affect their gameplay negatively by doing this) is okay because pointing is meant to be funny. Pointing itself is completely fine, unless you start acting like a complete fool.

What about pointing at people who were useless during the whole match? Hiding in lockers, urban evading around the whole map making sure everything is okay without touching gens...

I don't know if that's okay, lol. But doing it to survivors who are actually somewhat useful and trying to hide is a d*ck move.

Clown can stop looping decently well.

    Here, the common loops:

    T+L Walls -
Clown can gas the survivor and usually end up getting a hit, these are very unsafe loops.

    Double L's with Pallet -
If the survivor sticks to the long L wall, the Clown cannot break the loop and is forced to break the pallet.

    Jungle Gyms -
Based on the variation, if the pallet is next to the short wall, the clown can bait out a hit. If the pallet is on the long wall, the clown cannot.

    Junk Tiles -
Clown can usually bait out these unsafe pallets.
    Certain loops he can't though.

He can also throw gas to force pallets down faster, as their speed is temporarily decreased they can not go around another time. And for the longer loops the gas in combination with bloodlust can be used.

No he can't. If you believe that you can't play survivor well against him. All he can do is force you to drop it a bit early but survivors can just run to a different pallet. The gas is not strong enough to really punish big loops. He can only shut down unsafe, small loops but any killer can do that without the gas.

I am surely not the best survivor around, but I can play decently well. Maybe you have issues playing the clown properly. It's kind of like hag, you need to predict their movements really well so you can effectively intoxicate the survivor and get a hit.

  • Camping and/or tunneling is a strategy that is sometimes required in order to apply more map pressure and have a better chance of killing all survivors. The objective of killers is to eliminate survivors as fast as possible to make surviving harder for the remaining ones. As annoying it is to get camped and tunneled sometimes, I think it's unnecessary to punish people for not giving you the chance to escape. I mean, they play killer for a reason after all. It shouldn't turn into charity work. Just move on when you get camped and tunneled, and try improving your chases so you have better chances in the future as well as try to not be seen first.

Pointing with your finger is griefing? Pointing? I face SWF teams that do this all the time. They are just having fun. I'd bet most killers would go after the pointer rather than the pointee anyway. (If there is such a word as pointee).

I did not say that pointing is griefing. But using it to give away positions of other teammates to the killer is.

Dwight: Fixing his tie/just cleaning his outfit (meme version is the locker xd)
Meg: Doing workout crouching or something
    Claudette: Picking the flowers
Jake: Having a crow land on his hand and then go away (i know weird best i could come up with)
Nea: Checking if her spray has well spray left! Or grafitting ground beneath her that dissapears when game starts
    Bill:... just chilling? Idk
    David: Training his punches
    Jeff: Same as Neas
Laurie: Being really really careful and basically doing current animation
    Ace: Doing tricks with cards
Feng: ? (i have no clue)
Quentin: Falling asleep and waking up at the end/getting some wake up medicine in him
    Tapp: Looking at his notes
Kate: Singing a song (that only she can hear)
Adam: Looking at a book of some kind.

Would be hilarious if all the other survivors could hear Kate sing. Especially if all four play as Kate, use a offering to make survivors spawn together and voila  Dead by Daylight has its own musical now.

Nice, thanks for deliberately changing the conversation

yeah you simply cant imply i should use instadown and broken add-ons to counter DS and SWF every one of my games because that is boring for both sides.

you are extremely survivor biased, sorry, i dont care if you are a rank one trapper with legacy and bloody coil, if you still dont play survivor and killer equally you should keep your opinion about the game to yourself unless you want real balance, not just your side being stronger

I am 60 survivor/40 killer I know how this game work, killers dont want to their perks/addons get touched and they want to survivors items/perks all of the meta get nerfed, I've seen more survivors admitting that DS is op tha killers saying that IH is op.

You clearly aren't a killer from the red ranks else you'd understand why killers say certain things.

I agree that, just like how killers get points when somebody disconnects, survivors should be given points too that would equal 1 safe unhook or something.

So this wont be exploited right? Wrong a team that knows its going to lose can have one player dc to give the rest enough points to safety or pip. We shouldnt award people for dcing we should punish dcer with soft bans. 5 minute waiting time if you dc. This increases to a 10 minute waiting time if you dc again on that day and it doubles until a survivour goes 24 hours without dcing in dbd.

It's not awarding people for DCing, lol. You just give the other survivors somewhat a chance to atleast save pip so that they don't get screwed by the fact that somebody had to disconnect. It's unfair to punish somebody who hasn't done anything wrong. And no, this can not be exploited. There could be added a limit so whether 1 person disconnects or 3, the amount of points is the same. But atleast survivors will have something MINOR that can help them out getting a save pip.

So let me put a scenario forward so you understand how it can be abused. If my teams is doing badly and someones gonna die and depip anyways I can tell my swf friend to dc so we all get an improved chance at pipping and recieve points.

You dont get assitance for someone screwing you. Instead you punish the players who made is dcing. Currently survivours dcing is making games boring and dull. Behaviour needs to punish these survivours with short term consequnces. I dotn care about pipping or points when a survivour dcs what I care about is playing a game where all sides are contributing putting their best foot forward.

If there are survivours dcing then the game should not be focused on rewarding survivoirs who are affected by the dc. Instead the problem should be dealt with at its source.

Yeah but that ''friend'' could only do it a limited amount of times before they get a ban. People usually DC because they get tunneled, camped, missed their DS or got found really early on in the game. And for those situations I think it would not be unfair at all to give the remaining survivors some altruism points, and how many it would be is debatable.
