Luckily BHVR's EULA declares toxicity as bannable:

", While participating in the Game, you also agree to comply with certain rules of conduct that govern your use of the Game (“Rules of Conduct”), for example, you may not:

    • Disrupt the flow of chat in chat rooms with vulgar language, abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large images so the screen goes by too fast to read, use of excessive shouting [all caps] in an attempt to disturb other users, “spamming” or flooding [posting repetitive text].

    • Interfere with the ability of others to enjoy playing a BHVR Service or take actions that interfere with or materially increase the cost to provide a BHVR Service for the enjoyment of all its users." (https://www.bhvr.com/behaviour-eula/)

Griefing is bannable yeah. Most people show their toxicity in a way that they are practically not breaking any rule, but they know their behavior is completely unnecessary and not appreciated.

I mean, if somebody stuns me then blinds me while teabagging repeatedly for the majority of a match isn't that "interfering with my ability to enjoy a BHVR service?"

why do you think Ochido got hardware banned?

Because, from what I know, he was sad enough to give out a Steam profile on his stream and request his viewers the report the person

  • You obviously mean something different then, a creature that creates where God is a example. God does good and is part of a religion that motivates people to do good too. The Entity is something Satanic that loves matching up survivors in high ping lobbies, get the killers to suffer from complete blindness with all these purple flashlights

  • @GT_Legend2 said:
On second thought, the entity. Why? cuz I wanna be a GOD

I don't think he's a God, see him more like Satan

  • I don't think anything is wrong with the current effects of hex totems, I think the problem is that the totems are currently on spots where they become way too visible to survivors. Rather see harder totem spots like corners where you'd never come, but have to look to possibly find the totem than effects that still last on a hex totem that is already broken

  • Meh. I rather do the objective, possibly unhook/heal people and try to escape. There's no fun in taunting the killer like this

It's a really weird concept IMO. Survivors that finish gens very quickly are rewarded basically no points. But if you nerf the generators, they will feel as if they are being punished.

They just need more to do in game other than generators imo.

Looks like survivors already have more to do cause if I only fix around 2 generators in my match and then escape, I still get a depip. Survivors aren't just supposed to work on the objective and escape, they're supposed to get in a chase, help their injured teammates and then see if escaping is possible. I rather go for a chase/save than escape as the first one will most likely (safe) pip me.

  • If Michael Myers weren't in this game, I would have never bought it. Always loved him in any movie he shines

I honestly doubt, flashlights have the purpose to blind somebody and I dont think pressing CTRL will be seen as griefing though we know they don't have any positive meanings with doing so. I think they mean actions like purposely sandbagging/blocking and teaming up with a killer which makes it practically impossible to play the game the way it was meant to be played

Lore wise, from my POV, i'd say when someone DC's he/she was unable to 'keep up' with the other survivors, being weak and out of sheer fear they suicide, there's my 2 cents tho'

I think that's wrong. Most of the people seem to disconnect because their team isn't strong and optimal. Not just the DC'ed survivor but they're just not mature enough to accept their faith </3

How about when a killer gets stunned by a pallet the killer falls down, suffers from really bad head injuries and ambulance has to come. But the ambulance can only come through the escape gates so survivors have to fix 5 generators to help the killer get medical treatment asap

Edit: It took me a while to think about something as balanced as this. Don't forget that this will benefit the developers too as the game will get thousands of positive reviews magically

HAHAHA i dont know if your against or with me on my opinion but i love this

I'm with you but gotta suggest something like this if I want it to have a chance of being accepted by majority of community :^)

  • I honestly expected a slip dress with a bit more details on the design but can hardly see anything on it other than a red/orange kind of circle shape

  • I don't think a survivor is toxic by using the game features like flashlights and/or certain perks like decisive strike . Sucks when good people have this but they are the ones who don't use their skills optimally and they get affected by this when nerfs happen. A toxic survivor is one that teabags a killer at a pallet or the escape gate. Instead of feeling some mercy for the killer they spread hate. When I play as a killer it's awful to see those survivors just not leaving, but waiting at the edge of the escape point to teabag for a bit and to show me how they escaped me.

  • I agree that the developers should spend more time in what they created, but not just for several hours. Best way would be to let them get to rank 1 with both killer and survivor, or atleast any red or purple rank to fully understand the issues that the players have

  • Why...

By giving survivors the idea that they can rebuild pallets anyway they will start throwing them down even faster with no worries of not having pallets later in the game. I don't really think that will improve the skill level of the survivor as they dont have to play with what they just have. Maybe if there were only 5 pallets in every map, and those pallets could be powerful when used correctly. But now, nah I think some maps actually need to get rid of a few bs pallets.

  • I think some of the replies here are very optimistic, but not realistic. With the smallest changes in this game for survivors specifically a lot of moaning and whining starts. Like how the game recently got many negative rewards because survivors didn't like their nerf. I'm a survivor main but I'm cool with it, I mean the update got closer to the real meaning of survivor. I don't really think something as sensitive to survivors as looping will get nerfed efficiently

  • When I started playing this game I was kinda shocked about how high the toxicity level can be, and mostly for no valid reason. I remember being insulted by my other teammates because I didn't kill myself on the hook so they could have the hatch, lol. Then I grew used to it pretty fast and now I'm just not bothered by it anymore. I expect worst case scenario.
Though I thought this event would bring joy and ''peace'' (as far as peace can go in this community) but in ~60% of my matches I just see some weird competitive/provoking playstyle and I just don't understand why. Why the hell would somebody put their damn time and energy in taking a cosmetic/weapon away from a player. Not the whole player base is like that, just the people who happen to have nothing better to do in their life. I feel sympathy for them, they don't know any better than this behavior. Though, is it really just this community? I doubt. It's just a internet thing. Internet providers forget to mention that when you purchase any of their packages you get access to online toxicity whether you want it or not.

  • Claudette, but since the launch of cosmetics Meg is also in the list

  • He tries to chase Meg but finds out he has no chance until she drops the god pallet

That looks actually very nice, good job on that  Can you translate the perk explanations to English?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum

Then I still can not imagen a idea with the killer. The model looks good, but then perks of a killer are, from what I know and heard, a very important reason for people whether to buy a killer or not.

This game was billed from the start as 4 single Survivors versus 1 single Killer. There is absolutely no required teamwork in the game. You are not required to save, heal, assist anyone at all. This is why every single objective can be completed by yourself. The only caveat to that is that it is MUCH easier to complete your objectives if you help each other. You are not required to do that though, but it is a lot more rewarding with Altruism points and the like.

With the emblem system, the Developers have completely moved away from that idea though, as you are required to help your teammates if you want a double pip. Even a single pip can be difficult at times unless you score some Benevolent points. Now it is purely a teamwork game, and those who aren't on a team suffer horribly for it at times.

Exactly the way I meant it. Thank you for describing it.

I use Lithe, not Sprint Burst. I don't use Decisive Strike. Please don't unhook me in front of the killer, that's just not fair. As far as tokens go, you don't need them; you earn Bloodpoints anyway. Don't excuse your behavior on a Perk because you want more points. We're already competing for Badges as it is, let's try and work together so as many as possible escape.

    no. we are not teamates.

    this is a competition.

Since when are survivors not teammates?
Even on the Steam Store page it clearly states out it's a 4vs1 which means that all 4 of the survivors would have to work as a team in order to escape, and defeat the killer. Even on Wikipedia they don't mention your fellow survivors as ''competitors in the game'', they mention them as teammates unless you are the killer.

  • Do you already have any idea for perks, power and add-ons? I think in order to get players to buy the killer it should have some decent perks. It's hard to understand/like the idea without knowing the important details

  • The way he said they did a pretty good job so far was really hot. As in really hot, but something inside me still makes me think it was just an illusion

  • In the while I've been playing this game I never really had any hacker until recent, and it is exactly as shown in the video. In the past few days I ended up in lobbies of those horrendous killers. In some of the cases it did actually benefit us, the survivors, as you didn't take long at all to fix a generator. Since this is so obvious, used a lot these days, and has high risks (usually) of getting you banned I think this possibly could be some (free) hack that is put on any website. Not sure though, could be coincidence that i've been facing killers like this aswell lately.
