Killers are also supernaturally strong, so a physical fight would probably be about as suicidal.
Not the sorry-ass non-threatening scrawny weakling known as "The Legion". Pfffft

Doesn't matter, they both have their different styles, maybe this can influence you?
Not meaning to disrespect the memory of that unfortunate young man, but 4 guys ganging up on at most a bantamweight is not exactly the epitome of "supernaturally strong". That is the worst cowardly act. I hope prison treats them accordingly.
I guess they wouldn't have even tried that on Fury, AJ, Lennox or Bruno, seeing that you're into the british boxing scene.
-
And I still like the Doppelgänger 100x more than Legion.
-
I guess we'll have to wait for Chapter 12 to implement my killer perk ideas: Adrenakill - killer gains the haste status and all survivors lose a health state when the gates are powered; Self harm - all survivors within the terror radius self inflict deep wounds, and Despair - once the last gen pops, all survivors gain the Hindered status for 120 seconds.
-
I'm on board. It would spice up gameplay a lot. Either BP or shards as rewards would be nice. @Peanits proposes even teachable perks, but what happens if we already have them?
-
Is this a troll post?
-
And yes, in my experience at least, I'm getting more 3 and 4 man DS these last days.
But I already know it'll be like that once the rework (not calling it a nerf at all) drops. Good thing I have hundreds of moris across all my killers.
-
JuSt StOp TuNnElLiNg!!
In that case, the 60 secs of chance to use DS should only trigger if the unhooking occurred within the terror radius. Ala Borrowed Time. Which is strong enough already.
A lot of times I happen to find the unhooked survivor not healing or just running around after I did whole crossmap chainsaws. Or even self caring below the same hook he just got off. Why should I turn away?? Survivor poor plays like that don't deserve second chances.
It's literally forcing a dumb playstyle. Should killers campaign to make survivors turn away if they find a 60% generator?
-
Kill them. They'll learn.
-
This is awesome. And give me all the swamp you got. You can keep your all your haddonfield.

(Btw, I do main Nea for stealth and Objectives. I like running with her in places with buildings but not indoor ones)
Well I like hitting her, so I can hear her sweet deep voice XD
-
And I've just realized I only like her face in Night Out makeup. Does that make me a bad person? I already know the answer.
-
@Ember_Hunter said:
Is the 70% her body, not her face?
I left out of the pic the 30% I dislike.
-
Equipped Ruin like 3 times total. Each standing less than 30 seconds. I find Sloppy Butcher light years ahead in effectiveness slowing the game down. Injure multiple people and you'll see.
Of course, the new meta is the "no heal gen rush + adrenacrutch", but that means they're going down all the time if you find them.
-
-
I'll wait until the killer is revealed to decide.
-
@Nickenzie said:
Instead of faster hook progression, how about seeing the location of the obsession whenever a survivor dies for 3 seconds? This would be immune to Sole Survivor's blocking abilities to help combat the potential stealth the survivor will have late game.
5/4/3 and I'm hopping on.
-
And for some reason, as a killer I don't like survivors switching and switching and switching characters in the lobby. It messes up whatever loadout preparation you're planning.

Might I suggest Claudette gets a better category of clothing? To me, it seems like she's gotten that bitter end of the wardrobe.I seriously know nothing about fashion, but I can tell you she has the best military grade camo available in the game.

Interesting ideas for both perks. I like them. The only thing I'd say is I think 20% faster hook progression is still too low of a penalty for Sole Survivor. You're basically invisible and impossible to track.

The OP has said a lot of stupid stuff in this thread.
Lmao I don't know man, I just can't logic past the first post.

I can't imagine how could anyone exploit such a fair mechanic like this one being proposed. It's bulletproof.

I would say my Bubba is a popular QB in a southern high school, compared to my Billy or Huntress.

It would be a niche perk, but if you play killer a lot you'll have hooks memorized anyways. Hook obsecuring is 12m, you can get to hooks I believe you can get up to 50m without carrying perks. (correct me if im wrong)
I was talking about all the bumping into obstacles, doorframes and such.
-
Perhaps I'm too old to get it, but is this thread a joke? OP roots for streamer and proceeds to post a video bashing on her?
-
However, 37.5% of crows caw in average 2 seconds after they're disturbed, while playing against a doctor you're expected to shout at least 4.5 times in a match considering 80% of the time you're brought to at least madness tier 2.
Leatherface misses 42% of his chainsaw swings attempted vs Davids or Jakes and Megs are disarming 72% of the traps in matches against Trapper.
Please balance accordingly!
-
It's good to know LF gets some respect. I like playing him a lot. He's a dangerous guy and I like that.
-
I think he's completely right. You played poorly. You guys had full 2 minutes to at least look for the totem (since you know the perk was active from the second downing at the most) making the doctor chase someone else.drunky26 said:
Do you realize how stupid you sound?MhhBurgers said:@drunky26 said:
No, it makes bad killers get undeserved kills.Just the other day I was playing solo against a doctor that was chasing one guy for 5 gens, then got 4k at the end cause we all tried to save while no one broke the totem.
It should be completely removed from the game. Same goes for ds.
He didn't get undeserved kills, you didnt cleanse totems and then went altruistic against NOED, you were bad and deserved to die.
Finally, you could just open the gates and leave. 1k at the most.
3 guys hook diving vs NOED is just the worst path you can take.
Also, I think it's not possible to hook 3 guys if they're downed in the exact same place around an already hooked person. That doctor must have iron grip + agitation + purple hook density offering + some serious RNG luck. Can you explain how was that even possible? -
An undesirable fat nerd. Someone annoying like Martin Prince, from the Simpsons. Someone you almost root against.
-
If I see 4 clones, especially camo Claudettes, more than 3 flashlights or toolboxes I don't dodge but I take this:
Billy time, carb tuning + shop lube, bbq, bitter murmur + sloppy b + MYC. Ebony mori.
I reap salt afterwards. -
If you ask me, matchmaking should consider total playtime hours instead of flawed ranks.
-
What must have happened is your PS plus subscription expired, meaning all games downloaded for free can't be played anymore, until you renew the ps plus service.
Rank reset happens every month on the 13th regardless of anything else. Since there are no rewards whatsoever, I think the only purpose it serves is to make goal oriented people keep playing and playing. -
You're completely right, it will be theoretically possible at least.TheBean said:@Condorloco_26 said:
You seriously believe the devs are gonna let you rancor kill more than one guy??? Lmao. I don't think you typed your post with a straight face. What are you saying.. It says so in their QA... The obsession can change and as a result, you can have the chance to mori more then one survivor at the end with rancor.
-
4 camo Claudettes get an ebony mori in my book

This + 1tt_ivi_99 said:The only thing capable of getting a fair 4k against 4 men SWF who run instaheals, DS, BT and exhaustion perk. No need to nerf it. -
Bring whatever you want. Game is game.
-
only Nerf I see - dropping survivors instantly, as it wastes less time.
Everything else is a buff. A huge buff in the endgame. Coupled with BT, instaheals and Adrenaline, once the last gen pops it will be extremely difficult to get a kill.
And while every survivor whines about tunelling, why should killers turn away if the freshly unhooked survivor is the one appearing first in their screen? Do survivors turn away if they find a 60% or 70% generator while runnning around?
-
Not at all. I have literally hundreds, really hundreds, of the best addons and offerings without ever prestiging any of my killers.
Back when I started playing, I prestiged Meg all the way to P3 (she was the only character I was playing at the time) and realized the incredible waste of time it is. She's the only character I ever prestiged.

We will see once people have all these "free" escapes at the end of the game. People like @The_Crusader is starting to catch on to what i was getting at. @Master and I both believe this wasn't a nerf at all. My personal opinion BHVR [BAD WORD] this up ROYALLY!
Yeah I also think it was a buff to DS and a nerf to NOED at the same time...
-
Looking at all this mess I think it would've been better just to insta-drop/stun all non-obsession DS, so no more wasting time until they struggled out. That is such a gamebreaker now.
Or as @fcc2014 says, have all non-obsession lose a perk slot. That would be the downside of equipping DS, the risk of not being able to use it. You want to make it sure? Equip 2 or 3 obsession perks yourself

In fact Deliverance itself is buffed now because now it doesn't matter if you're broken because you still have the crutch perk to fall back on.

This is what I can't wait for....10 One gen left....
20 Find and hook the obsession...
30 Last gen pops...
40 Killer returns to hook to secure kill...
50 Teammate rescues hooked survivor...
60 Killer hits down rescuer during unhooking process...
70 Killer chases unhooked obsession, gets rancored.
80 Killer returns, picks up rescuer and hooks them.
90 GOTO 40 REPEAT UNTIL ALL SURVIVORS DEADEnd of match.
Screw your BT.
You seriously believe the devs are gonna let you rancor kill more than one guy??? Lmao. I don't think you typed your post with a straight face.
-
I like the fact that it won't waste killer's time anymore. But other than that, I see the rework as a buff, since now potentially 4 people can use it in the endgame, gates powered / open and killers won't be able to stop them.
I thought they wanted it to have a downside, like Deliverance / broken status. But I don't see absolutely any downside to new DS (or old one for that matter)
-
@Master said:
I dont think that DS actualyl got nerfed tbh.
Feels more like a buff if you ask me. I prefer the old version (as killer)I agree with you. I have just confirmed survivors will be able to save their DS for a potential unhook when the gates are powered/already open. Now there will be close to zero chances to kill them in the endgame.
I think they buffed DS and nerfed NOED at the same time for this reason.

I don't see my question answered... does anyone know if a survivor will be able to "save" their DS by not hitting the skill check for a posterior unhook??Here you go bud.

Theres a QA under the original blog post if you wanna go check it out.
Thanks for answering. The Q&A section was added after the last time I checked the initial post.

What's with all these new accounts created to comment on this topic?
-
@Dustin said:
Yeah that's my mistake I misread it. The perk only becomes active for 60 seconds after being unhooked and during the active time you can activate it and then the one time use is over.
Does the timer pause while being picked up though because I can see some unfortunate circumstances where it expires mid ds.
I'm asking, they should clarify. Yours is also a good question.
-
@Peanits Will the perk be still active for a second unhook if it's not used on the first one?
