  • For left behind, just remove the per gen part and make it so that when you're the last person gens go 100% faster.

Sole survivor immunity after 2nd killed is a good idea for the obsession I like it.

@Nickenzie and if they get found? You can't stay hidden the entire time and if they do the killer sucks ass.

@Cetren okay okay... you ever run to a pallet? Let say devs remove that then what? Window you got three chances to lose the killer on a window so.... 360 only works for a little bit and if you continue to get 360s off then the killer sucks and shouldn't be allowed to get a 4k let alone 1.

Look dude, it's not our problem if - with all your experience plaging survivor, you still havent figured it out, maybe you should give killer a try. Might be moreleased up your alley.

I wouldn't be too quick to say it's not your problem.
If enough survivors don't have the ability to break a chase one way or another, they're going to complain. The devs will likely listen to them, and they're likely to make things harder on killers.

I don't "main" either side. I just recognize the vicious cycle.

There is though that's the point. We even started naming ways. Even in the event that you can't hide or escape, that's why there are 4 survivors, the killer is going to be somewhere and it's either with you in which case or team wins or away from you in which case you can reposition yourself into an area with more resources. If no windows or pallets are working regardless of where you are, as he was implying, then it's a personal playstyle problem, nothing to do with the design of the game itself.

@NextKillerSpongebob If the devs remove pallet looping what are survivors supposed to do against the killer?
Git gud. I don't loop and I do just fine.
  • You don't lose points if a survivor is within 16 meters of the hook and the penalty is reduced at 8 meters. The only people being published are the ######### really.
  • I don't think it should be removed, but instead, raised one notch. The standard is just a biiiit too low. Too easy to grab.
  • His fate is unknown. He's probably not dead though since death simply returns you to the campfire. He either lost all of his hope and by extension, his soul ceased to exist, or became a killer for the entity.
  • The injured and dying state are different. Thus it only affects you when you are injured and not dying
  • Yeah, it would be nice considering you know, you can never get them again. Put in all that work and elbow grease for nothing.
  • When will bing bong Boi get some love?  ;-;
  • You can find perks when your character is level 2, 3, or 4.
  • Eh, it probably will be much stronger, but it really needed it. Besides, with an influx of aura reading into the game, (rancor, dark sense, now alert) I don't think it'll be too shocking.
  • There are plenty of nice changes rolling out. As long as they keep them up, I think DS can wait.
  • Not sure why people find Kate so attractive. Guess I was always more attracted to brunettes. I'd highly recommend Jake for iron will and calm spirit if you don't have them already, seems like the best perks given the ones you have already.
  • Drunk Santa clown had better be a skin by this Christmas or I'm quitting dbd forever.
  • *Insert flex tape damage meme here.*
  • Once again, I have no idea how a time out or a punishment would discourage dodging. Like, if I wanted to avoid a negative experience from a game, a timeout wouldn't discourage me form dodging. The whole point of the dodge was to do something fun, I'd just go play a different game while I wait. It'd be easier to just afk through the punishment game too. Just thoughts from the perspective of someone who rarely dodges.
  • Just an aryan to be honest. Just one. XD
  • It was too long before, I don't think anyone can argue with that. A change was definitely needed, I'm with you now though that it is surprisingly fast. That being said, I've still been blinded and dropped people during the animation even with somewhat safe pick ups.
  • As doctor would you not also get the points for shocking someone or raising a tier though? Is it not obvious where they are?
  • He's the problem with gg. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that when it first started to be a thing it was said by the LOSING player in order to signify that they were giving up and that your opponent played well. But now it's usually the winning team that says it first which just pisses people off because it's always a good game for the team that wins. So instead of being a nice friendly way of admitting you lost its another way for jackasses to gloat now.
  • I like it. They definitely need to have a harsher standard for DC'ing.
  • One of my favorite killers. I got him to P3 really quickly and I gotta say I don't regret it. He's super fun, has a semi useful ability and is significantly better than wraith, my ex main.
  • "######### ######### face camper."

Because I hooked someone and didn't move. Keep in mind I heard noisy footsteps and loud breathing on my tail the entire time I carried the survivor, and the breathing stayed right behind me as I sat there... and sat there... and sat there.

They should make it so were even if someone quits a motionless npc stays so you can get the bp for them or use ur moris.

THIS. So much this! I've seen it in so many other games that don't even need it as much as dbd!
  • The "risk" of being the obsession can include articifical safety if the killer has STBFL though. I don't think DS is really going anywhere.
  • The problem is that people didn't do it before, and they're not going to do it after. I'm not even sure how you thought the overwatch endorsement system wasn't a mess lol.
  • The idea that this would help toxicity seems very misguided. Just look at when on one dev stream they counted the players who had the lost thumbs up from the report system. Top survivor had almost thirty, top killer had 7. Do you see the problem?
  • Not me, because the killers I like to play have P3 with all perks unlocked so I can respond to balance changes according. It's very fun btw, thank you for asking.  ;)
  • I wouldn't, but sometimes it's annoying that people can't just play the game. If you're going to try hard at least be good at the game instead of abusing an exploit for easy mode, whether it's TR or bugged map spots, whatever.
  • And so is camping! Case closed, bye everyone, thanks for showing up logic, see you next time unnecessary thread.
  • Then the only way to lose bloodlust would be hitting or losing the survivor.

    I don't think that's healthy for chases.
  • I don't see how a lobby timeout for dodging will discourage people. I'll just go play an enjoyable game for 15 minutes while I wait.
  • Punish them by farming them off the hook! That'll teach them!
  • Botany knowledge works if pharmacy isn't Nanjing it challenging enough. It's fun to pay with just speed and efficiency as far as healing goes.

Dance With Me, Iron Will, Urban Evasion, the new Calm Spirit, and Q&Q are all more than good enough stealth perks. Stealth is already a viable option, you just need to use the perks available to you instead of running Sprint Burst, DS, and Self-Care all the time.

This. Except they went way over the top with urban evasion imo, it only needed one of the two buffs, activating while injured or significantly increased speed. It kinda kills the rest of the stealth perks by being so good.

Basically, it's the self care of stealth for survivor perks. Lightweight is already INCREDIBLY good. There's a clear difference when you run it.

Honestly the OP lists all these perks, but it doesn't sound like you've used half of them.
  • All the sudden add-ons that cause exhaustion are much stronger.
  • I wouldn't want to play against a hag in the ptb either, she was already a pain. But trapper is great! ;)
  • It's actually pretty easy to see the difference in game. When you see a chuckles you're in doodoo. When you see iron chuckles, probably an easy game. Just saying. ;)
  • Eh, he's scattered about here and there. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten more attention tbh, he just kind of... joined the game. No salt, no majorly UP, (after PTB buff). No complaints on either side. Just dead in the water.

  • I would put him in the upper mid tier. His ability is ranged which is a huge advantage, because toy won't just be doing nothing while you catch up to survivors. Slowing them down after a vault or pallet will give you more than enough time to get through the obstacle and continue the chase. His add-ons are almost all useful, and they can be combined in any way for a potent power. (With the exception of the soles and VHS porn add-ons.) Very solid killer. Also his P3 looks terrifying.
  • Just add healing a survivor to the list of actions that grants a token, and make it so you only get the unhook token after ten seconds of the survivor not going down - the same time that the emblem qualifies for a safe unhook.
  • Playing normally. It may be an event, but killer is not exactly a "friendly" title. There's no fun in farming either! Just enjoy the game for what it is. ;)
  • I said it last year, they shouldn't have left so much anniversary stuff in the game, because they'll have less stuff to put in the game for next year's anniversary. Here we are.
  • Season reset is in 7 days. Just wait until then and try to pip at the same rate they do for a while.
  • Anything done to deliberately ruin the fun of another player or mock them without any real game play advantage for yourself. Like teabagging. Or smacking people on the hook.
  • It's stake out honestly. Anything that helps people on lower end computers is great.

With Bbq3 you earn an additional 100% after the match assuming you hook everyone once.

Got it....okay. For some dumbass reason, I was only using 25% for 4 hooks.

    15,000 Earned
    15,000 Bonus
    15,000 Pudding

    45,000 post match
    45,000 BBQ&C

    90,000 total

No, bbq doesn’t count the bonus. BBQ would add ANOTHER 15k, not double the already jank amount

But why does it say it's added AFTER the match? When it's worded like that, I assume it's taking all modifiers into account, such as pudding and the bonus. The AFTER match total would be the number multiplied by 25/50/75/100....I thought at least.

Thanks for all the replies....it really is greatly appreciated. I mean, it is what it is, and will be, either way, once the bonus goes live. Just trying to get a heads up on it before hand.

Because it’s bloodpoints you earned that get boosted by BBQ.

Is this confirmed? I specifically remember Last year getting upwards of 75k or better in some situations. I vividly remember a time when I was playing doctor and at the end of the trial, leaving with about 80k, so how could that be possible if it isn't a compound interest?
Uh, because you earned a decent score and had had it multiplied by the number of offerings that literally everyone here has been saying? I'm not sure why this isn't a possibility to you.
You know, I wasn't thinking straight when I posted that. You are 100% correct
Haha, it's cool dude. I was just so confused. :P
