It's still a really good perk, it's just bugged so you still set off crows with it. All they have to do is fix it so that the perk worked if they wanted people to use it.Unit said:Definitely running calm spirit -
The new skins just look so much better than most of the P3 sets. That being said, mixing and matching is good. I'm in the process if getting P3 clown so I can have the bloody mask with his black and purple outfit.
-
For me it's the clown. He seems very amused by the situation. The doctor laughs because he's crazy, the clown fully and thoroughly enjoys what he does.
-
I've also caught several urban evasion survivors thanks to grass.
-
I have literally jumped out of my seat once when I was strolling along and someone dropped a pallet on me. I just was not expecting it. The thought somewhat humorously occurred in me, "hey, I'm supposed to be the scary one here."
-
Ill usually take anything under 350 with little consequence. A stable 200 is better than an unstable 50-100 imo

Is there flaws with the game? Yes. Does it get on nerves every now and then? Definitely. Is it usually a highly competitive environment with a winner and a loser? Undoubtedly. Does that mean people will stop playing it? No, of course now. People just blow steam, just because they're tired of camping or looping or perks or whatever doesn't mean they're done with the game. I'm not sure why you would think that if someone gets frustrated with someone and lobbies for a change means they would permanently leave the gameFSB75 said:@Peanits said:
There are definitely some people out there who will complain for the sake of complaining, but most people just want to see the game improve. Negative feedback is still feedback. You don't fix problems by having everyone tell you it's perfect.
I don't subscribe to this. I don't believe people have the overall health of the game in mind with their "suggestions". Some instances, yes, of course....but most seem to just want a tailored game.
Someone pointed out that there might be an influx of new players not initiated or indoctrinated right away. I get that. I just find it strange that after 2 years, people still complain about camping and looping.....yet still play. Change this, change that, this sucks, this needs fixed...I mean, if it were one or two issues, I'd understand that, but some players seem to take issue with the game in it's entity. It's good though, lots of answers here.....so I guess that's something.

Depends on how many BP you dump into the killer. Even though you may not have very many rare add-ons, usually killers have a myriad of common add-ons that significantly improve the game play of the killer through a relatively small bonus. Like spark plug for hillbilly and cannibal, ether 5% and padded gloves for the clown, the soot duo for wraith, etc etc. Just about every killer has at least one that you should get every bloodweb possible. The rarer add-ons arent common enough that you can use them regularly, but you will usually find enough that you can use one or two every time you find a large SWF group you expect to be challenging. As far as the black hand goes, it's pretty rare and few and far between. The other thing is that using it will cause some survivors to ditch the match because they know you'll be using two rare add-ons. So I wouldn't rely on it too much.
-
Just fix the jigsaw boxes so they interact properly with perks.
-
It's like the wraith cube, except trapper gets cool new add-ons with his QOL.
That being said, I do think he will, unlike wraith, be significantly better after the changes. -
That's definitely fair. Honestly, I have to question their intentions with the cypress game play wise. I can imagine their intentions, you kill the whole team and you get to epically murder the last one. Sounds great on paper. But pulling it together is just way too hard and situational. I don't think they like to remove offerings from the game, but another possible change is making it so that instead of only using it on the last survivor you can mori any one survivor, but only if you've hooked them twice. This makes ivory a direct upgrade pertaining to rarity because you only need hooked once.Peanits said:@Cetren said:

I'd rather see it so that cypress gets buffed to be like the state that ivory is in with one kill, and ivory gets buffed to let you kill two survivors per game.
Ehh... that's like giving one survivor a BNP each game. I'd prefer they stay as far away from that sort of thing as possible.
Well obviously it wouldn't be built in if this were the case. That would be broken. It's just be nice to have a USABLE offering is what I'm saying.
Ah, I see what you mean.
If that were the case, I'd probably rather see cypress just scrapped and ivory left as is. One mori on anyone that's been hooked before is already huge. Two early on is basically an easy win, there's no way two survivors are going to make a comeback if there's still at least three generators left (and even then, three is a stretch because they're only going to have one person fixing generators and saving while the other guy gets chased). So at that point you'd be bordering on a cheaper and slightly less instant results ebony, but it would still get the same job done at the end of the day.
Might just be better to scrap the cypress at that point like they did with some of the other lackluster offerings, just so they don't water down the bloodwebs. I guess while they're at it they could make it baseline so you can always mori the last survivor. (Hey, we came full circle.)

Well yeah, the original chasing killers can be a lot more fun to tinker around with. Your opinion will probably start changing when you hit the 4 man swf professional loopers with flashlight that power the gates in less than 4 minutes and teabag you on the way out. For now you could definitely enjoy the game with some mid tier killers. But eventually you'll hit a point where you either need to be really, really good to even snag two kills with them by the time the gates are powered or you'll go back to playing nurse
-
Do you use the exposed strike if you hit an injured survivor?
-
Yes, using sloppy butcher counts for hatchet hits.
-
I highly doubt they're actually cheating. In the case that they are, record the match and link the recording to the report description. If you don't do this, they're most likely not going to be banned because there's no proof.
-
That is one huge stretch if I haven't seen one. It's also a logical fallacy.
Your argument is the people DC'ed. People DC when they are upset. People are upset, specifically that the DLC hasn't been released. The DC'ed because the DLC isn't out.

Before you make stupid statements check first.
If playing killer is so easy why dont you show us how you 4k every single time against swf team at rank 1 with freedy ? since its soo easy for you.Freddy* and i said easy to pip don't need a 4k to pip genus and what do you call a killer that stands next to the person on hook? and if he has a chainsaw or is myers?.....

Nope, pretty sure it's a bug that ca me with 2.0
-
Well duh. The only good games are the ones they win. I'm surprised you didn't know this.
-
End game builds are usually pretty fun and you don't have to use ruin if you just need a break from it. Of course, any perk that activitates when the gates are powered is bad for you because you'll only get to use it when your gatekeeper score gets ######### on.
-
I mean, your body can resist significantly more damage on the entities realm, hence why survivors are taking chainsaws and killers are virtually invincible. Living in an alternate dimension does have its benefits.
-
Well that's kind of the catch, they're not nerfing sprint burst, they're nerfing exhaustion.
-
Survivor: Stake out for sure, it's just an amazing perk.
Killer: Territorial Imperative. It's taught me two things. 1, not many survivors check the basement, and 2, it's pretty much a free down when they do. -
If the killer is camping it doesn't really matter whether a survivor is actually nearby or not. They're going to keep searching around the hook regardless of what signs you do or don't give them. Might as well give everyone else a heads up.

Let's meet in the middle and go with 4 seconds, same as BBQ. Especially as killer where you're locked into first person, you might miss the auras altogether if you're locked into an action while the generator completes. For dark sense yeah 5 seconds might be overkill, but for killer 3 seconds is really short.

Which would be a viable argument if emblem points split between the multiple survivors on the gen. They still are gonna get bronze/silver light bringer max.
Also I'm almost never in a situation whereally I have max objective but still need to do objectives to farm the pip. There's really no incentive to keep doing then once your BP is maxed and you know you'll pip.
If not reducing it, I'd at least ask that they split the coop points between the survivors the same way they split the emblem points.
emblem points are split between the survivors who worked on the gen....

You should leave certain pallets. Although going around them will slow you down, a survivor has to vault them in a straight line, making them a sitting duck before, during, and slightly after the vault itself. Obviously destroy pallets, particularly safe ones, but ones that you can mind game around are easily left up with little consequence.
-
I have to disagree with several of the entries tbh. Especially brutal strength not being S. Yes it only saves half a second on the pallet breaking, but you aren't accounting for acceleration. If you factor in the movement speed of the survivors and killers along with how quickly you can move with brutal strength, you get an average of being accounting be to catch up to survivor 4 seconds faster PER PALLET. You can literally save yourself minutes of chase time given the large number of pallets strewn throughout the map.
-
Well, the perks are rarely used enough that I don't think it matters. Doesn't matter where or how far the killer is when you have sprint burst. I think SB is significantly more harmful to ambush killers and a much more pressing issue. If someone sacrifices a slot to either premonition or spine chill the deserve the early warning imo.
-
A rework would be nice, but they can't change him much after digging themselves into this pit. It'd be nice if they just reversed his first nerfs and gave him QOL fixes like picking up downed survivors who are being healed.
-
Why do people want to kill no mither so bad? Starting off injured is the whole point of bringing the perk, I'd never run it if you started healthy.
-
Ah yeah my bad, I assumed this was implemented in the current version of the game. But if the hatch changes were to be pushed through I imagine that this wouldn't be a bad idea.Nickenzie said:
@Cetren The killer can CLOSE the hatch if they find it first which will sacrifice the survivor. If they decide to stand in the middle of the hatch which for some reason it won't give the survivor the option to jump in, it's only two minutes. However I'll state again, the killer can CLOSE the hatch so there should be no reason why the killer would have to stand in the center of the hatch if he can just close it.Cetren said:This doesnt seem to really solve standoffs though, what's stopping the killer from standing on top of it until two minutes have expired if they find it first? -

I find PC significantly easier to capitalize on. Nurse and huntress are noticeably easier to use with a mouse, and if you get a good enough PC you won't have to worry about lag issues. It might take some getting used to and you won't get to carry your progress but I'd consider it a worthwhile investment. Plus you get patches early. :PaBlueberrywaffl said:How difficult is it to play on PC though? Is it controller compatible.. Or do you have to play with the keyboard? I know my PCs but the only games I've ever played is sims-sims 4 and lol. 😂
-
From what I understand, less toxicity spread, but when you hit toxic survivors you hit them like a bag of wet sand coated in bricks and you will not enjoy it. So if you'd rather enjoy a larger portion of your games and sometimes hit the worst of the worst then PC might be better for you.
That's just my experience though. -
Just have itremove the red stain and slap on a 4 meter TR reduction to go with it. Boom, not a stupid bad perk anymore.
-
You would be surprised how many points and pups you can get from camping.
I mean, if it wasn't rewarding in any way, people just wouldn't do it.
It can secure kills, bait survivors out, lead to multi hooks, and overall it's just an effective strategy. -
You should've been around before they started improving totem spawns.
-
BS statistically saves you around 4 seconds of chase time PER PALLET that you break. Over a game of twenty pallets that's 80 seconds of chase time averted, possibly more if you can get an early swipe in due to the time you saved. While BS may not make a huge difference on the pallet breaking speed, it makes up for in in that you get to move faster after the pallet breaking but shortening the animation. So in the long term, BS is statistically and practically better than enduring imo. Particularly for killers like wraith, Freddy, and trapper who may find it difficult to have aggressive chases.

Yeah that spot is quite annoying. Rather than add a hole in the railing though they should make a home in the floor that falls to a lower floor of the house, I think that makes more sense.

Nah, it's just for the new Sickles. They're more flat and he holds them higher, so he doesn't swipe anything. Honestly this is just one of those things I'm surprised they haven't implemented yet. +1

Eh, it'd go the same route as balanced landing where the only reason a perk was introduced was to offset a mechanic that was added in as a nerf anyways. I do see an argument to be made in that it would take up an extra perk slot from the people that want to activate sprint burst twice in a chase though, and I'm all for weakening people that want to spam exhaustion perks.
