Uh, the toolbox efficiency is literally the only thing propping that perk up rn. The suggested changes are interesting but ultimately I feel like it's good in its current state.

If you can get wax wraith with shards then I have no idea what you're complaining about.robin said:@Cetren said:

thats kinda bs I mean I understand they need to make money and that's what this is all for but at least let us very slowly earn auric cells. and the fact that certain items can only be bought with auric cells is ######### too. i don't care if they're grindy as hell at least let us get them somehow. thanks for the help
That's why they made cosmetics purchasable with slowly acquired shards.
certain ones can only be purchased with auric cells
Other than that, cough or up or forgo. -
Both are legitimate strategies to help the killer win. The only reason they'd be annoying is because it causes you to lose on rerms that aren't your own, which is how dying should be like.

Are you sure that's not just some ugly? Nea's got a lot of ugly.

Might've accidentally left off a zero or something.

Exactly why I bought some skins. They look nice and unless you're getting a very rare one they're very affordable. Fully outfitted my Dwight and wraith and still have enough remaining for another character, or a couple of new weapons. Besides the price of the very rare skins, I've been very pleased with the implementation.weirdkid5 said:@onark said:

If you bought it, that shows them as a company you were willing to buy it despite the insane pricing.
That will solve nothing and is counter productive. You simply shouldn't have bought the cosmetics.
Yeah, but they can not hype me an entire month, showing me something that I died for play with, waiting for this day like if was my son's birthday & don't do it. I hope they resolve this.
The fact you flip out and get this hyped over cosmetics instead of actual gameplay and stuff is exactly why companies do the things they do like unfair pricing.
You can not buy it. It's called willpower. Companies prey on people like you, I'm gonna be 100% honest. It isn't your fault or anything, it's the sleazy tactics made by these companies that go right after people and their desires.
Dont fall for it. Stop giving these people your money. They will not change a thing if you give them money.

Guess not. Im still downloading the patch and will be for several hours so I can't see the description rn, but he should behave the same as he did after his buffs.Th3Nightmare said:@Cetren said:
He was buffed during the PTB. He also no longer slows down when charging a throw. His add-ons were slightly nerfed by a half second as well so the base clown is better but with add-ons his performance is roughly the sameSo in the description it has not been changed, I suppose?

Dude, especially with the change that makes it only give her one hatchet. You're telling me you can't dodge ONE hatchet? That's a git gud issue. I was running around huntresses with the iridescent head back when they could use FIVE.

I think by far my favorite survivor outfit was a Dwight with blue aviators + blue-grey shirt + blue pants. I mean, this guy looked like a real punk, it was great.
Killer wise, the wax wraith was great, but if it's going to set me back 10$ then the secondary assassin wraith outfit will do just fine for half the price. -
I consider it the same as lightweight. Maybe not noticable to you, but a big difference to the killer.
-
I also thought the skins were a little bit pricey. The lower recolor and stuff are fine, but there's a very sharp increase in price if you actually want to look nice, especially for killer where you can't even see yourself.
-
He's looks good, I've loved his playstyle since the beginning, he has the best back story, and he's probably my the most relatable killer in the arsenal. Too bad he's awful.
-
They lowered the skill check chance when Freddy was introduced. Gen tapping is worthless.

The game is technically balanced outcome wise. The kill escape ratio approaches the 50% that they want. The real problem with this statistic is that games tend to "snowball" one way or another. Basically AFAIK and as far as my experience goes, the two most common outcomes are 0k's and 4k's, which can be the most frustrating outcomes for one side of the other.
The other thing this fails to take into account is the levels of seriousness that people take this game at. If I had a dollar for every SWF members I've had DC or suicide or just play stupid because they could, I probably would be able to afford some of the cosmetics for the upcoming shop. *bad dum tss*. In all seriousness though, sometimes the deaths of careless or point farming survivors are factored into the the total, which waters down the actual statistics.
And then there's also the plain and simple fact that winning does not always equate to a fun experience. Just because you barely managed to pull everything together by the skin of your teeth at the last second and get a 3k/4k does not mean it was a fun, or balanced experience.
Yeah, there is an argument to be made with outcomes, but they vary so much that it's a poor sign of the balance of the game. Even with the kill ratios in a supposedly fair area, I'd the experience remains as miserable as it can be now, it's never going to be balanced. -
While I also did not want a clown in the game, I think if he was military he just wouldn't garner much attention. I think the clown idea is acceptable. Plus it gives them great excuse for pink gas and big laughs.
-
I switch it up between Quentin, Dwight, and Jake. I dislike playing as the female characters, so those are the main 3 I use.
-
Most recent ultra rare add-ons are garbage. If you're playing one of the old, original killers they can be pretty good. But pretty much every killer past huntress has had trash ultra rares. The very rares is where the good stuff is at.

So I remember the time where everybody took this perk. The only problem with this perk is, that you can't decide if you want to use the perk or not. What about changing it like this: If you unhook someone with left click BT isn't triggered, if you unhook someone with right click BT is triggered. This would allow survivors to choose if they want to use it or not.
What do you think about it? Would it be to op?
In its current iteration that change would be redundant since borrowed time is unlimited.
It isn't.
-
Eh, I'll probably be dipping into it every now and then, although I did agree with that they are a bit pricey. I had my hopes up when I saw the 4025 was enough to be a good chunk of skins and I hoped it would be a decent price to buy the same thing once the patch comes out. It's 35$.
Nontheless, I'll probably dump a good 20$ in the skins that I like the most. Particularly for the killers. -
Actually I'm pretty sure for prices they said it was 500 for 5USD. So that's 4.25 euros for 500. Not 5 euros for 1,000.paganSK said:1000 cells - 5euro

The problem isn't that survivors don't have good perks, the problem is that since SC, SB, and DS are the standard of good perks, everything looks like a poor choice in comparison, which I'd why they need nerfed, so they're on the level of other good perks, and not setting a whole new unachievable level for any new perks they decide to add.MrsMaliciousX said:So uh how about this...
Get rid of survivors (op perks) killers gotta either give up noed or nurses..and once you hooked a survivor you can not hook that survivor again for at least 1-2 mins..
Killer mains cry about the perks that survivors have yet they have noed..nurses..BBQ (which you can not counter) and blood lust..yup blood lust main be for the pallet Loopers but if you're trying to get rid of SB and all our good perks you can't go any fast either...or have any perks that make you go fast like fire up..fighting fire with fire isn't the way to sovle a problem..but here are the killer mains yet again bitching about the op perks that survivors have yet yall have some too..
Just chop off our arms and legs so we can't move then maybe y'all would be happy..
But then again you'd find something to ######### about....

I see, I have been enjoying the clown though, I like getting the practice in, he isn't to Shabby as a killer right now, we will see if this stays till live or if it changes in any sort of wayYeah, I would love to play against him more too. I guess people just prefer other kills more, which is a right shame. But as you mentioned there will be no trouble finding clowns in the month or so after release.

Powering a gen can be pretty difficult by yourself, especially when the killer is given free roam and no generators have been started. I'm pretty sure their reasoning behind the change was that gates take significantly longer to use than the hatch, plus the have glowing red lights and sounds. So you can patrol the gates instead of trying to prevent the survivor from taking the easier option.
