With Bbq3 you earn an additional 100% after the match assuming you hook everyone once.

Got it....okay. For some dumbass reason, I was only using 25% for 4 hooks.

    15,000 Earned
    15,000 Bonus
    15,000 Pudding

    45,000 post match
    45,000 BBQ&C

    90,000 total

No, bbq doesn’t count the bonus. BBQ would add ANOTHER 15k, not double the already jank amount

But why does it say it's added AFTER the match? When it's worded like that, I assume it's taking all modifiers into account, such as pudding and the bonus. The AFTER match total would be the number multiplied by 25/50/75/100....I thought at least.

Thanks for all the replies....it really is greatly appreciated. I mean, it is what it is, and will be, either way, once the bonus goes live. Just trying to get a heads up on it before hand.

Because it’s bloodpoints you earned that get boosted by BBQ.

Is this confirmed? I specifically remember Last year getting upwards of 75k or better in some situations. I vividly remember a time when I was playing doctor and at the end of the trial, leaving with about 80k, so how could that be possible if it isn't a compound interest?
Uh, because you earned a decent score and had had it multiplied by the number of offerings that literally everyone here has been saying? I'm not sure why this isn't a possibility to you.
You know, I wasn't thinking straight when I posted that. You are 100% correct
Haha, it's cool dude. I was just so confused. :P

How do you not mind it? I despise that map. Tiny with safe pallets littered throughout it. I think I'd go insane after 3 games.
  • Everyone has had it since the 2.0 update.

    Merry Christmas.
  • Clown honestly. He's just a fun killer.
  • Also you all are proving my point on how toxic the community can actually be i posted this and was hoping to get suggestions and your ideas on what they can do to make the game the best it can be, instead you comment nothing of sort that will help
Nobody is posting things to help because it's not a problem. Don't fix it if it's not broken.

Don't you hate when a survivor destroys your fun of the game by looping? same way the survivors feels when he gets camped and tunnel i mean.

Lol that’s their whole excuse for being a trashy killer and having to resort to camping all because someone “looped” them but if they want it to be a tactic to camp and tunnel then don’t ######### when the survivors start being what they call “toxic”

Indeed name calling is uncool for tactics that people don’t like or couldnt solve at the time ! I have had this happen many times . But again as a survivor you suppose work as a team . And as stated other times as a survivor you not suppose to be at every turn out running the killer . You suppose to use your intelligence and be in the shadows !

I totally agree  with being stealthy  but the only problem with that is now you don’t PIP up if you stay stealthy, I repaired three generators and saved one off the hook Along with cleansing no one escapes death totem And  still safety with 22,000 points  because I didn’t get chased , So in a sense we are being forced to be toxic to rank up because you almost have to initiate a chase of some sort for evader,   Sorry if this is jumbled I’m doing speech text while driving.
You can get evaded by being nearby the killer. And the argument can fully be flipped too. I had a game of hillbilly against a SWF with a bunch of legacies. The map was fractured cowshed, so 3 big looping spots. I didn't camp or tunnel at ALL and managed to get 3 of them by the end of the fairly short game. No camping, no tunneling. And I didn't pip. Because I immediately left the hook, I wasnt slowing progress, so my gate keeper was #########, because I let them go after I hooked them they healed so my malicious was #########, and because I would see two at a time and go after the tougher target, chases were longer, evader was #########. I didn't pip from a stellar performance in a very tough game, when it would've been significantly easier to pip if I had just camped and tunneled.
  • Total noob to the lingo, but what exactly is tunneling?

Tunneling is a term made up to describe when killers get "tunnel vision" focusing on one survivor and ignoring most other things going on around them.

Self care is broken is broken, pallets are fine. >Entire post nullified in one sentence.

See unlike you I actually play the game, rather than hang around the forums waiting to cry Survivor OP, Survivors are still stronger than killers, organised. this game is in the best shape it's ever been in. but yeah SC OP, trying playing back once SC gave you full healing speed lol. this perk is one the most balanced perks survivors have, it can be strong if you're a slugger, otherwise, no it's fine.

We'll you're also the one who typed the above paragraph, so I have no idea what your first attempt at an insult was about. I've played since when self care was full speed, and yeah, it was terrible. My point is, it still is terrible. Also slugging? Dude everything you say makes me more convinced the last time you played was 2016.
  • Self care is broken is broken, pallets are fine. >Entire post nullified in one sentence.
  • A five minute timer is too long. Even in the event where pressure started to build due to compelted generators, it wouldn't make much a difference. Making the key always in the last box is quite blande imo, not only does it make searching the other boxes feel like a chore, but it allows suitors to optimize there paths through the boxes to hit them all quickly. Another problem is that it basically forces pig players to use their traps at the end of the game in order for the time to have a reasonable time for the trap. It reduces the amount of free playstyles viable with the trap. The ambush is fine as is imo, a niche tool that can catch survivors by surprise during the early game when that is most needed.
  • Urban evasion - Anyone who has tried to walk like the crouch function in dbd knows that urban evasion would be AMAZING if it were in real life.

Streetwise - Make all of my tools last longer? Yes please.

Brutal strength - Because free strength from the entity. Smash stuff.

    Tenacity - Army crawl everywhere.
  • A bunch of salt, like usual. :unamused:
  • If you earn 15k, than each 100% perk or offering will grant an additional 15k. Just take the end game score and add the score again for each offering.
  • Tried, and abused. You can thank survivors that this mechanic will never see the light of day.
  • Nothing really. I run it sometimes. Teams don't necessarily to worse because someone has it.

The real shocker is when I loaded into a game with TWO people using no mither.
  • More points and free 5% regression oppourtunities? Yes please.
  • This just sounds.... bad. Like, really bad. As in, why would I play pig with these changes?
  • Much appreciated. Now we can get our P3 clowns together!
  • The only real use for insidious is securing a second hook and countering BT.
  • I just don't understand how people continuously think this is a good idea. Tried, tested, and abused by survivors. Thank whoever abused it in the PTB that this will never be a thing.

I agree. Hatch shouldn´t even be in the game. It rewards failiure.

Also there is currently no mechanic in the game, that kills the last survivor, if all 4 are about to escape.

This I disagree with. Survivors aren't a team. They're success is individual. If it was rewarding failure, it would be rewarding the already sacrificed survivors. As the survivor still alive fire the hatch, you're the only one besides the killer that has succeeded or has a chance of success. The hatch is a way of rewarding the best, most stealthy, or smartest survivor of the game when generators are no longer a viable way to escape.

So that guy that escaped with 9000 bps.
Do you think he was the best and smartest survivor for the match?

Either that or the luckiest. Either way, he's the one that made it out. Also if he escaped his score would be 16,000 not 9,000.

  • I don't know. Clown was kinda dead in the water when he first came out.
  • Honestly the only thing that grinds my gears is people who do that without running borrowed time. Like farm away boys, but use the perks for doing it. I have religiously used borrowed time since it's nerf now that I consider it a fair perk. I get my tokens, they get a chance. Easy peasy.

I actually preferred the old system. It worked just fine. I honestly don't see why they added this ridiculous player level.
The player level works exactly the same as the old system though. You only get them by the amount of time you're in a match. Except the player level gives you significantly more per match played. It was a straight buff to shard gain.
  • You need more practice. He basically slaughters looping with the right add-ons, and just the padded gloves and ether 5% are more than enough for him to hold his own against decent survivors. I'm prestiging him, will probably main him once he gets up there.

Only a handful of top tier killers such as Nurse and Hillbilly have the potential to play catch and release 12 times in a row. Most killers are weak, far weaker than competent survivors, and they need to eliminate a player as quickly as possible. Tunneling sucks but the game's balance mandates it.

On the old system this would be an excuse, but killers can pip without killing a single survivor. I know I've done it. Not saying it was the most fun game, but they all got away and I still pipped.

So give me another excuse because that doesn't fly anymore.

Wait, quote "I don't care about the emblem or the BP... I want to have a fun game."

Now keep that in mind and read what you just said.

You're flat out contradicting yourself. You just want killers to handicap themselves for your enjoyment.

Yupp exactly he just wants killers to not be killers..

No I want the game to REWARD GOOD KILLERS, and PUNISH BAD KILLERS.

Right now, because of how EASY it is to camp/tunnel someone, the game rewards bad killers. Like I said before you can tell a good killer from a bad killer when they chase you and how much map pressure they keep. I've played plenty of killers (not always Billy or Nurse) that are REALLY GOOD and do not camp/tunnel, yet still walk out of the game with 3k or 4k and likely a double pip.

Which is fine and common AT LOW RANKS. I'm one of those killers. I just waltz around and get easy 4k's without camping or tunneling. But as you get higher in rank THIS DOES NOT REMAIN AS A VIABLE STRATEGY. I've been in games where ruin is up for 5 gens and the killer doesn't still have enough time to get more than a 1k. Seriously. It has nothing to do with their skill and everything to do with time management. I've been on both ends of the spectrum, I've had survivors praise me for being one of the most fair and best killers they've hit, and I've had others berate me for being a noob and not playing fair. It has nothing to do with how I played and everything to do with THEIR standard of fair. Change the standard, enjoy the game, don't have unrealistic expectations.
  • Even in the event that you "handicap" yourself for a fun game as survivor, the killer taking the hit on you STILL puts him at a disadvantage. You get a speed boost, and they're slowed to a crawl for the wiping animation. By the time that's over, you will he far away due to a combination of you getting a boost while the killer gets slower, and the killers diverted attention means the other survivor will gain a lot of distance as well. So he's still in a WORSE position than if he hits the other guy down. If you hate tunneling that much, run borrowed time. Then the killer doesn't get an advantage for hitting the other survivor, because they couldve hit you and been in the same position.

No, Killers will not play in a way that benefits you just so you're not punished for your mistakes. Adapt or die. Your choice.

What mistake? That I want to save the guy and have an actual game? One were everyone gets chased, does some gens, maybe someone escapes. I've had games where I escaped Iri Unbroken through the gate, only because the killer REFUSED TO CHASE ME. Instead he just sat by the hook. I'm fine losing my Iri emblem if it means people play the game. I made no mistakes, I played perfectly. I pipped, or even double pipped. NONE OF THAT MATTERS BECAUSE IT WAS A ######### GAME. I'd rather get chased, hooked, have things come down to the wire. I want to have fun playing the game. Sitting there watching a killer just sit on the hook, knowing the only thing you can do is gens (even if you have BT killers don't seem to care), and just pressing a button all game to escape but forced to let at least 1 other survivor die is not fun.

If you play like this I have no sympathy for you as a killer. I respect killers that don't camp/tunnel every hook, especially because those killers tend to ACTUALLY BE GOOD AT THE GAME AND GET 4k'S. Killers that tunnel/camp are 95% of the time absolute garbage at the game.

Nobody cares a about taking your emblem down from iridescent to gold for a few measly chase points and a teabag party at the exit gates. Extend the game time, and I guarantee you will see killers spread out the pain more. You know, when time he hey have time enough to enjoy doing so without getting shat on.
  • Did you not read the patch notes about devotion? What were you expecting? Lmao.
  • Play the game
  • The devs have tested this mechanic multiple times. The reason it, or any of its variations have made it into the game is because it's too broken and too abusable. It's not any better of a mechanic than it was when it was first introduced.
  • It's kinda just a face palm moment, like, really? I will admit I'm sometimes tempted. Just earlier today, I pallet stunned a killer. 2 things happened. 1. They had enduring. 2. They for some reason got teleported to my side of the pallet. I literally got hit twice in less than two seconds. But I stuck it out and it ended up being a great game. And even if it hadn't been a great game, I would've gotten more for staying than giving up and resigning the rest of my team to their untimely defeat.
  • I like trumps wall building ability, but hillary would be OP. She just deletes parts of the game code removing all pallets, totems, windows, and exit gates. Badabing badaboom.
  • Nurses calling doesn't punish people for getting away, it punishes people who heal immediately after losing the killer or not being cautious enough in the TR.
