Those people were entertaining?
No, that's a harsh way to put it.
What i mean is: If the people you named were trying to be entertaining, they don't do it for me. -

Oh cool, replace Devour Hope's useless 10-seconds, +5% movement speed with this instead.

Welcome to how Killer bugs got fixed in the past.
-
You don't lose anything when the Killer quits your lobby.
I'd rather you and the devs first focus on wanting in-trial DCs less frequent, cause 35% just isn't a good enough limit per day. -
Nurse's Add-ons need a re-do.
Cannibal needs some form of movement+.
Nightmare needs everything but more detection.
Pig could live without her growl triggering before the charge. -

@Boss it does seem quite powerful compared to other common add ons. I've heard it has some interesting moments when used with the Beast add on and is powerful with the Clapper add onsIf you use Coxcombed Clapper and "The Ghost" - Soot, then uncloak behind something close to them, you might as well be a Shape in Evil Within I, it's seriously spooky.

It's just not fun in any way.
I don't feel like i'm having fun using it, since Survivor is going up against odds, which DS just nullifies.
I DEFINITELY don't feel like i'm having fun facing it, since...obvious reasons. (I'd REALLY like to not have Enduring be standard in my builds, devs. You got rid of Brutal Strength being standard, now Enduring please.)
Currently there's a pallet bug that causes pallets to just push you, no stun.
I know.

@Boss Personally I'm very happy they changed Windstorm as before it was sorta the only add on you'd ever see a Wraith use. With the changes I think there's alot more that can be done with them. And like you said Swift Hunt is still something you can't go wrong with. I've been running the Ghost add on alot myself and am catching alot of people off guard with itYeah, that Add-on's certainly great.
In fact, i'm surprised it's a Common, i'd expect an Uncommon rarity.
Not complaining, just...y'know. -

The "Windstorm" has gone through a pretty big change, but honestly, it's about just as much worth it as before.
Since the speed boost for uncloaking is now standard, i'm actually glad these changed, since you don't need much more than just that little bit it gives you as a standard.
But being able to go from one Generator to the next is SO good now thanks to the new versions.
One of the reasons Hillbilly is so popular is to just bolt it from point A to B.
Granted, this doesn't give you THAT amount of speed, but it's so much better than the standard speed.
Especially for maps like Azarov's Resting Place, that map kills slow Killers if the Survivors are decent or more.Other than that, you can never go wrong with "Swift Hunt".

I moved from maining Hillbilly to maining Wraith. At least for now.
The new "Swift Hunt" - Blood, the "Windstorm" series, the possibility of being completely quiet with Coxcombed Clapper and "The Ghost" - Soot, the "Shadow Dance" series...
Some fun AND good ######### in there. -
It usually does with updates that give a lot of stuff to one side.
In comparison to the usual, it does die out to the minimum, but the minimum in this community is still a lot of complaining.

That sounds like they know JUST how to play a Survivor.
It's right there in the name, no? Survive.
BP is great to have, but earning a lot isn't the main goal. -
Your opinion is not a fact.
Rank 5? Rank 1's easy to achieve in many ways other than tunneling, camping or your "skillful" ways. -
If you like ranking up and since getting to rank 1 can literally be done in 2-3 streams, i can understand people wanting to go back and experience the ladder-climb all over again.

Considering how fast positive Killer changes were added in the past: It'll take months, maybe a year. For example: 1.5 years ago, i asked a question for the dev stream, asking if they can re-do the Nurse's Add-on arsenal. I asked them since i myself thought some negatives on some Add-ons were WAY too much. (Mainly referring to most purple Add-ons.)
They agreed with me, saying they were afraid she'd be too powerful with these negatives.
However, i asked this question after they nerfed her basics. (1 Blink less, movement speed nerf etc.)
So they agreed with me they should be looked at.Here we are, 1.5 years later: Most purple Add-ons still suck hard.
The Nurse is not a good example. Give her good addons and she might become a literal nightmare.
I think it's safe to assume that every major patch we could see something done for at least one killer.
The Nurse is a perfect example, your point of it overpowering her is not the point we were talking about.
Point is that her Add-ons never got the treatment they deserve for 1.5 years now.And besides, you make it sound like they'll intentionally make her an absolute beast.
In the past, it's shown time and time again that anything too strong as a Killer is quickly nerfed.
I'm more than certain that those ######### purple Add-ons wouldn't be of great benefit at all, just okay/good. -

Pretty sure you're tired of hearing this and you may think someone on the dev team is trolling you by having you play those maps a lot, but until you got actual proof of that, here's the actual fact as of now...You're experiencing RNG at its finest.
While you're stuck with a few areas mostly, my RNG usually sends me to all kinds of locations.
But last month i had a lot of Red Forest.
It really is just RNG playing with you.It could also be that RNG is poorly implemented. For example, instead of picking realms first (Coldwind Farm, for example) and locations later (Rancid Abattoir), it could just be picking locations right off the bat.
That would result in Coldwind Farm, MacMillan Estate & Autohaven Wreckers showing up way more.
There's multiple locations per realm for most realms, increasing the chances you go to those realms instead of those with only one location.
I meant, that's how it might work currently. I do get those three (and the Swamp) more than any other realm.
Yeah sorry, i figured later you weren't suggesting it, but theorizing that it is so.
My mistake.

When you say high five, i thought you meant using the new Perk Diversion: Getting a pebble and repeatedly fake-throw it in front of another Survivor.
-
The general motivation is: Don't do your job? Get tortured for all eternity until you do your job.
Of course, you got shitbags like Shape & Nightmare who don't care at all, poor souls like Hillbilly & Cannibal who don't really understand anything etc.
-
Didn't they want to make Exhaustion Perks less attractive?
If they reset Exhaustion on being hooked, it won't make the "Exhaustion won't recover while running" change have as much of an impact, nullifying the purpose of that change, which was to make Exhaustion Perks less attractive.I'm not really one to care about this change, but the devs would seem like they contradict themselves with that change.

I wanna have Hex: Haunted Ground's 2nd Hex Totem to stay after the first one is cleansed.

General bane: Coal Tower.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
-
Nope.
Devs buffed aura Perks recently for a reason, and they didn't cave in to the crying of Survivors about B&C for a reason.
Without aura Perks, games can become incredibly boring, especially since everyone and their mother is a ######### bloody Claudette. -
I intend to use it to defend my Devour Hope better.
It may scare them off from doing Hex Totems before they know i run Devour Hope.
After they know i run it, they'll probably cleanse any Hex Totem, hoping it'll be Devour Hope, making it so they'll cleanse the second one too at some point.Nothing's more dangerous than a Devour Hope that gets its chance to shine.

The game is intended to be balanced around 4 perk slots. Introducing more for both sides would break it, given how powerful the Survivor perks are.
Did u not read what I suggested? It would make it better for everyone. And it's not like just the survivors would have extra perk slots.
Here's a list of the survivors perks in 3 categories... initially thought I'd make just 2 but some of them are questionable.
If by any chance they make extra perk slots. They could easily have the perks made into 2 categories and make it so u can use just 2 of those super powerful perks at most.
Imma try to make a Killer one as well just to see how they balance each other.
Since when is Iron Will a “crutch” perk?? Crutch is a made up phrase salty individuals in this game come up with when they’re in a dilemma that doesn’t favor them . just git gud instead of pointing at people because they play a certain way.
It says clutch, not crutch.
There's a difference. -
@FrenziedRoach said:
Removing Tiers from the perks is probably the best idea they've had dealing with it. This will help new players immensely as every perk they get will be full powered. And it would also get rid of the feeling that you don't improve your Perk by buying the next level.
Like, yeah, your cooldown is now 10 seconds shorter.
Or you can now earn 1 more Token.
But you don't feel more powerful, it still does everything that it did before, only slightly and sometimes unnoticeably better. -

They probably won't complain, they're too busy clicking the DC button.

I'd like Killers to have a little bonus for landing a hit that isn't a lunge.M1 hits are 500 Bloodpoints each, and the devs do not make a difference between lunges and regular hits.
I'd like to see that changed: Nobody ever does a normal hit anymore, since a lunge comes with many benefits and no additional negatives compared to regular hits.Change the current "Hit" name to "Lunge" or "Lunge Hit".
Add a new action to Brutality called "Hit", which is worth at least more than 500 Bloodpoints.
One is gained doing normal hits, the other doing lunges.Catching someone also doesn't happen all that often and is worth 600 BP.
The new "Hit" could be that much.P.S. In case you're wondering: No, you can't earn both in 1 hit, you either get BP for hitting or lunging.
That not necessarily true if you played against survivors with dead hard (the staple exhaustion perk of rank 1 players) a counter to it for killer is walking right up to them for a normal hit. if you lunge you can time it to hit but its significantly harder then walking up and m1ing. Honestly i never struggle with getting large amounts of brutality since i play a lot of m1 killers like freddy and doc. If anything i think survivor needs increased bp for their scoring categories as point for altruism can be hard to come by if your not being crushed by the killer. Killer is fine for bp overall and i'm saying this with at least 600 hours clocked on killer and about 150 hours of survivor. Billy could stand to gain brutality bp for landing a chainsaw tho.
Hillbilly does gain Brutality BP for landing a Chainsaw hit.
I made this suggestion with 1850 hours clocked in, fairly well spread across both.
I play against Survivors with Dead Hard enough. You say it's significantly harder while i whole-heartedly disagree.
From the way you said it, i assume you think anyone goes in for the lunge immediately.
All i do is bait it out.
It's an incredibly short duration and since Dead Hard is ONLY good for evading attacks and not creating more distance, the lunge after that is almost always a guaranteed hit. (The only exception being is if they DH right past a Pallet.)Regular hits have little range, the cooldown's the same (Or the difference is so little that it makes no difference.) & you move faster. As long as you have the amount control required over your character to counter stuff like DH & 360s, almost never will you fail.
This suggestion is not to reduce the "struggle" for BP for Killers, i myself don't struggle.
It's to reward an attack that's simply less viable.
There's enough other good Perks that replace Dead Hard in people's builds, especially Sprint Burst.
And a 360 is easy to counter with either regular hits or lunges. (This is not to brag about it, but i can't remember the last time someone on high ranks pulled off 360s on me, and i always lunge cause i usually am in a chase before they 360.) -
