I can't get behind your reasoning: Your point is that the amount of slots should increase because the amount of Perks increases.
It'll be terribly balanced that way, i MUCH prefer 4 slots and 100.000 Perks. -

The reason is to screw you over.
They might DC on your Items too and the game might bug out and make you lose those too. -

But those people will get a terrible impression of the game. People asked on the steam forum if the game is dead.
If they would have done the free weekend in a month, we would have gotten the same amount of players, but less lobby problems.

No negative beginning.
Gain 1 Token, up to 1/2/3 Token(s), for fully healing another Survivor.
Each Token increases both the Skill Check chance and the amount a Good- & Great Skill Check heals by [VALUE]%. -

Played 7 matches so far without a single DC.
Didn't care about ranks last season, so i went all the way down to 20.7 isn't a big number, just saying my experience isn't helping me believe that it's rampant.

I mean, advanced stealth is usually very good against aura Perks.

The Exit Gate Switches are contained within a metal box.
The metal box is locked with a padlock.
The padlock needs a 4-digit code to unlock.
The 4-digit code is written on a piece of paper.
The piece of paper is hidden somewhere in a Chest or Locker.
Survivors gotta search Lockers & Chests until they find the piece of paper.
Whoever finds it gets the code on top of the "FIND THE EXIT" text on their HUD.
They can unlock the padlock on the metal box with that code.
Any Survivor who's closer than 8 meters to the Survivor who found the 4-digit code will automatically gain the code as well.
Searching Lockers won't take time like Chests, it'll just be an animation of picking up the piece of paper.A new Perk could unlock the metal box whenever they want.
If this sounds ridiculous, do note that i made this up on the spot without any consideration.

The Doctor has Add-ons that can create fake Pallets.
That was one, indicated by the Doctor's laugh after it disappears. -
Ignoring my Hex Totem often leads to a quick cleanse on most maps.
Immediately going to it from the get-go at least helps protecting it, and most Survivors either think you go to a Generator or think you saw an other Survivor. -

For all we know, next set of Perks could have a Perk called "John".

The game can certainly end, but neither accept defeat until someone finally does.I find the Hatch mechanic an absolutely stupid addition since it has this flaw since he start and no changes have been made so far.
I just gun it for the Hatch as Survivor and i just slap Survivors who are at the Hatch: They'd only give me a small 1000 BP anyway if i do get them, and rank is more useless than Monstrous Shrine, so idc about that either. -
It's easier to just move on and not be a ######### about videogames.

I rarely camp, so of course i'd be all for buffing myself like that.
And the devs do want to make camping less appealing, so making the one thing more appealing instead of making the other thing less appealing sounds nice.EDIT: I kinda wish that what you described in the post would actually be a buff to Devour Hope.
Y'know, instead of getting a 5% increase for 10 seconds, you'd get a 5% boost as long as you're far away from hooked Survivors. (Can't get 5% if no one's hooked.) -
