Well that only makes "Swift Hunt" Add-ons that much better, since they don't have to make up for 1 second "Windstorm" instead of me thinking they didn't have to make up for 0.5 seconds "Windstorm".There's a problem with the swift hunts now too though, and it's that they are still as good as they were but have been nerfed by being made more rare, that sucks because they always used to be a must have add-on, with windstorm or all-seeing as one of the other two, or blink or another swifthunt if you like that playstyle.
They're like windstorm now, incredibly important but too rare to be used all the time, therefore you have to just play some games where you either take no add-ons or bad add-ons and basically accept that not only are you disadvantaged by playing the killer, not only are you disadvantaged by playing wraith, but now you're extra disadvantaged by not having the add-ons you need.
And since the duel windstorm add-on set is basically the only way to play wraith now, even though swifthunt is really good you won't have room for it, and even though windstorm is good it's already somewhat rare as an add-on and you use 2 every game.Duel "Windstorm" the only way to play Wraith?
Now that's just not true.
Might i suggest you try other builds for more than just 2-3 matches?Wraith was my first main and i've always loved the idea of shortening your Power usage.
So, naturally, i was drawn to "Swift Hunt" Add-ons for Wraith.
What did that do to my inventory?HUNDREDS OF "SWIFT HUNT" ADD-ONS!
Though "Swift Hunt" - Soot is now gone and a new one arrived, i still have hundreds of the 2 middle ones.
And let me tell you, they're work JUST as great.I stand by my point that: "Swift Hunt" Add-ons are not extraordinary like Shape's Fragrant Tuft Of Hair or Hillbilly's amazing collection of medium buffs on Carburetor Tuning Guide, but it's more than good enough for me to have it be the first thing i grab from his Bloodwebs.
Obviously they're just as good, but if you use swift hunt constantly you can't restock it well if they're all rare and you have bad luck with the bloodweb like I do.
RNG is a ######### with everything in this game.

If you don't like playing hour long matches, you can always just run up to the Killer and die.
You'll keep your BP that way too.
Both parties clearly had the desire to win for VERY long, so let them play as much as they want. One will eventually get sick of it and break up the repetition.

The new map sometimes has dead corners for Killers: No hook in sight.Yea, hook spawns need looking into, again.
They either spawn so close to each other two survivors could chat on the hook together, or they spawn so far apart or on one side of the map a killer doesn't have a chance to hook if there's one block/wall lock on the way.
Having a hook against the Killer Shack with the Basement there also looks very silly.

Can we stick to the topic and not talk about how many players are rank 1 and SWF groups.
This threat is about survivors not having a proper BP gain perk that is actually useful in a game like BBQ.Yes there is a BP perk called we're gonna live forever but how often is that perk used compared to BBQ?
Rarely ever. And that is because we're gonna live forever has no other effect than giving you additional BP like a offering where BBQ gives you BP and vision (which is probably the most powerful tool you can have in the game). I'm not saying BBQ is op, I'm just saying survivors need a respectable BP perk as well. No, they don't.
Killers are supposed to be stronger than Survivors.
How would that core rule be supported by giving Survivors a Perk that's similar in power to Barbecue & Chili? -
13 Killers now, Spirit has been added.
Which also means +3 Perks btw. -

@Boss but when the killer drops everything after he hears the trap disarm and comes back to check? I didn't start the work immideatly after I disarmed, cuz I was sure he would come back, like the 10 times before, but he didn't and then when i realized maybe 10 seconds later, that he ain't coming back, I got on the totem.. I just think the mechanic of the auto-arming traps should be tweaked a bit, imagine you running away from trapper, seeing an unarmed trap infront of you and then just suddenly the moment you run over it it arms itself... thats just stupid nothing else..
If they drop the Survivor and come for you, it's another win for all Survivors.
That Survivor won't get hooked and can now easily be picked up by someone else, meaning the Trapper wasted their time.
Yeh, as a survivor what helps us out? Not getting hooked. This game is a game of numbers. The survivors have 6 objectives to win and killer has 12.
The Trapper may have 3 Survivors be busy: One at the Totem, one down and one healing the downed one.
But while this is all happening and none of those 4 people are making progress, there's a 4th Survivor repairing like crazy, making progress for all 4 Survivors. -

How are you supposed to?
Disarm, then immediately start cleansing.
All you gotta do beforehand is pick the right timing, like when the Killer picks up a Survivor. -

"But then they'll just DC before getting hooked or killed."
Yeah, they would.
And that's fine cause then the Killer can either just drop the Survivor to not destroy the hook, or save the kill. (If it's a finite kills ability like Rancor or Ivory Memento Mori.)Or perhaps when they DC, they just lose control of the survivor, and not have the survivor disappear, just an empty shell the killer can do whatever they want with. Then, DC-ing for a hatch escape becomes impossible. Similar thing when killers DC, the survivors can stick around and escape at their leisure (because they are now wasting their own time, not the killer's).
That actually currently exists as a bug.
VERY rarely, the Survivor DCs, but their body remains.
I have had this happen 3 times in my 1900 hours, and they were always on my shoulder when it happened.
They make for a great BP punching bag. -
Keyboard & mouse of course.

So far i've had GREAT results in any match on most ranks using "Windstorm".
The built-in version is exactly like the weakest former version of "Windstorm" and frankly, that's all i need.Though just using "Swift Hunt" isn't anything exciting, you can never ever go wrong equipping this.
Now combine their strongest versions and you got a Wraith that comes pretty dang close to applying just as much presence pressure like Hillbilly does. (I say "presence pressure", cause Wraith can't 1-hit like Hillbilly.)
Inflicting Mangled is pretty neat, always good to waste that much more of their time.
Lots of Add-ons i still don't like though.
Inflicting Blindness is very meh. Like, yeah, it's a debuff. But it's as if you just made someone 1% slower at repairing: Very very very underwhelming.
Seeing nearby Survivor auras? Ehh, as Wraith, you usually see them anyway.
Seeing Generator aura intensities based on their progression is neat i guess. I just don't want it, and i don't think the rarity fits this ability.
"Shadow Dance" is a great concept, but often useless since you need to be cloaked. You'll need some serious mindgaming and more luck than you want to put these to effective use in chases.
The stealth Add-ons are pretty much only good if you combine them with another one. Such Add-ons become very unattractive once you run out of 1 of the 2.
"Blink" hasn't changed. I gotta admit, it's kinda fun to just poof out of existence, you barely have to hold the button. But it's only aesthetically appeasing, nothing practical about it.
What i like about Wraith is being able to get up to someone without them noticing me.
So naturally, i heavily dislike the Common Add-ons that undo my cloak whenever i break a pallet or damage a Generator, and the one that doesn't hide my terror radius. (Opinions different from yours exist.)There are very few Killers who have Add-on arsenals that consist more of likeable than dislikeable Add-ons for me btw, so take in this list of opinions with that in mind.
The built in version is actually exactly like the windstorm white, not the weakest version, as it gives a full second of speedboost, it's one of the few actual buffs Wraith got, the weakest windstorm before was a .5 second speed boost but it had no drawbacks, this one has the windstorm white's speed boost effect of 1 second but does not have the draw back to decloaking time.
Oh yeah.

It doesn’t matter to me what they do. It’s not going to change very much anyways.
Decisive Strike is a game changer. Everyone gets to escape once per match for free, meaning you essentially need to get a minimum of 4 hooks per player.
No it has a huge impact on the match, but the way they are changing it would just mean flashlight jockeys are going to be meta. They’ll most likely get the save anyways.
I would say thats fine. Because that means you will have two, or more, people not working on objectives rather than just one.
Plus it reinforces the idea of: If you work together, you stand a better chance of surviving.

Hmm.
What if the non-Obsession version of Decisive Strike requires you to have gone through 2 hook phases before being able to use it?
Meaning you'd have to be pulled off a hook twice before being able to use it.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i based this on me remembering that they wanted this Perk to be a "last resort" of some sort.
What last resort is more fitting than being carried to your 3rd hooking, right? This would also mean that Survivors who didn't get pulled off on the 1st hooking can't use it, but maybe i should make an exception there...
That just means everyone gets a free escape near the end of the match, say, after the gates are open, instead of at the start. The only way to fix Decisive Strike is to acknowledge that it never should have been a thing in the first place and rework it the way Tinkerer was reworked. It's so bizarre seeing people complain about Self-Care, a perk that is mandatory, and which is countered by plenty of killer perks, when crap like Decisive Strike exists.
Tbf, both Perks are too good.
I could make it so that, if you equip the Perk and are not the Obsession, you permanently LOSE a phase on the hook from the very beginning.
And since everyone seems to dislike phase 2 since you either have to spam or scroll vigorously, let's choose that one. -

What i mean is: If the people you named were trying to be entertaining, they don't do it for me.Maybe not but compared to the same stupid Gen rushing and camping threads on here everyday i take days off from the forum at a time because it is the same recycled garbage on here. How is doing an objective fixing generators toxic? The killer is suppose to kill who cares if he camps and tunnels does it make it fun no but it is a game. I even saw several threads because of the invincibility buff to survivors hooked while being rescued being too op. @Nickenzie threatening to quit and asked for their post to be closed because people strongly disagreed with buffing a killer 4 times to match the killer being out manned. This is what the forum has become and it is a wasteland of cry babies and rage quitters. If i have to sift through the garbage i would like some entertainment and they were entertaining..
Oh in comparison i couldn't agree more.
Maybe i can't laugh at them but i can't muster any positive feelings at all with most of the usual discussions.
I wasn't really putting them in a bad light, just showing i wasn't really feeling a need for their comeback.Though with that said, in general, it's nice to have anyone come back who isn't wishing to have the Exit Gates open immediately, or wishing to be able to permanently destroy Generators.
