- Character: The Hag
- Add-on 1: Mint Rag
- Add-on 2: Rusty Shackles
- Perk 1: Hex: Devour Hope
- Perk 2: Hex: Haunted Ground
- Perk 3: Hex: Thrill of the Hunt
- Perk 4: Make Your Choice
Hag is the basis for this build.
Mint Rag is to make sure you can protect a Hex Totem from anywhere.
Rusty Shackles is to screw with them.
Hex: Devour Hope is the main goal, you'll want Tokens ASAP. Protect it with a Phantasm Trap.
Hex: Haunted Ground is to reduce the blow if they somehow successfully cleanse one, meaning that, in this build, them cleansing a Hex Totem will now have a 50% chance of it not being an important Hex Perk. Plus you can now 1-hit anyone for 60 seconds. Protect them with Phantasm Traps.
Hex: Thrill of the Hunt is to gain notifications, so you can Mint Rag right to them. Protect it with a Phantasm Trap.
Make Your Choice is to always have someone on the hook: Catch someone, place a Phantasm Trap nearby and teleport to it AFTER they're saved, then hit the unhooker and hook them.Once you got 5 Tokens, you start killing them instead of hooking them.

On Doctor it is the calm addon.
On Huntress Yew seed brew (gives hindered effect)
On Trapper Bloody Coil
On Bubba ChiliJust Battery? Not higher?
And Cannibal's Chili Add-ons are really ######### right now. -

@BossI wanted to go back to playing Trapper but i keep forgetting that i prestiged him and hes got no perks. I like the Wraith alot too. I just wish he wasn't so add-on reliant.
Mmmm, from my experience at least, he isn't so weak anymore that i'd call him Add-on reliant.
I feel like he went from "Add-on reliant" to "Suffers from just being an M1 Killer."
You can do well with him without Add-ons. But the problem comes when the Survivors have decent or more coordination, loops will slow you down tremendously, but you gotta do them or else the next one you find will do the same. -
That could make endgame a huge clusterfuck.

I am curious if there is somebody like me. Am I the only crazy person here?
So then there must be a Common Add-on you like the most.
Not really, I don't even look at what they do.
If I have to pick, I would go with waterlogged shoe or mirror Myers only because they don't make me stronger. I wish the addon system was a little bit different and killer would not depend on addons.
Eyyyyy, there ya' go!

Lol. Yeah. I suppose not... But they're super handy on tree maps. I like to let em lose sight of me and then catch em from the other side. Its a real eye-opener.
No i agree, this one feels fantastic to just sprint around with.
I just also think of maps like Lery's & The Game. How you liking that Kawasaki Mansion or what ever the hell it is? Its a real pain in the ass for me BUT if i find myself with nowhere else to go, i run straight into the thickest bamboo clump and 50% of the time its an instadown.
I've actually practically only been playing Wraith lately, so i can't say.

The best advice i usually hear to figure out how to verse a character is to play that character.

A lot of killers really need add ons to become anywhere close to viable.doctor: Pretty much useless without good add ons
nightmare: terrible in general but pill bottle and z block make him not so terrible.
trapper: in my opinion without bloody coil, iridescent stone or a bag/sack trapper is not so good
wraith: not so bad without add ons but the ultra rare clapper and Windstorm(not both just either) really help him
huntress: charge add ons are not needed but really help
hag: haven't played her yet but from what I hear the add ons that increase teleport range are a must
spirit: not anything specific but without add ons she is pretty bad
Cannibal: faster charge speed is very good and in my opinion needed to have a decent chance on some maps.
the rest I don't think need add ons to do good.i do think killers should have a way to keep add ons after a win seeing how reliant some killers are on add ons. Maybe if you double pip you keep add ons?
The main problem people mention when that idea is suggested is that, if you for example double pip because you used high-rarity stuff, you'll get to keep using it for the next match.
And then repeat that over and over and you'll never have to buy new ones again.
I'm not saying i agree or disagree, just that it's a thing that was said before. -

Have devs ever stated a reason or reasons as to why Killers can't save their used Add-ons by doing really well in the trial?
I always figured it's cause Killer Add-ons would just be more powerful in comparison, and that's why. (Though that would go against the whole "Killers are in the minority so they need advantages.", but whatever.)Its one of the reason Killers typically get more BP then the average survivor to compensate for your Blood-web spending.
They did state a few Dev streams ago that they are looking at ideas to better balance the survivor/killer economy for items and add-ons.
Oh okay.

Killer is doing his objective as the survivor does.
As long as survivors camp and tunnel a gen that is nearly finished, the killer can do the same.
Wait so now survivors are camping a gen instead of gen rushing? The killer has a choice to leave the camped person.
The survivor has to stay on that gen to finish it or get chased by the killer coming near it or to save that person. If there's a Devour hope up or the gates are powered.
There's a huge difference where 1 has a choice while the other in order to complete their objective has to stay and focus that 1 thing down.
When a killer moves around they can freely decide where they want to go in order to do their objectives and can roam the map taking a direct route to a gen.
The survivor can't always go the most direct route,e specially if it's directly in the open.
If a killers runing dh then they wont camp because they get stronger by non camping add in the speed boos and insta downs to the Mori as the tier goes up people become less ob gens and more get that totem or we are gonna die
That was my original proposal to solve camping. Turn DH into a normal perk. Killers would instantly stop camping and i have a gut feeling, that the amount of teabagging would also drop.
DH normal?
I'd love it, but you can bet your Bill beard it'd get nerfed the first week.I don´t know. It sure would change the way survivors go for unhooks. They would feel actual pressure to unhook the survivor before the killer gets to far away. Maybe nerf the distance a little bit. So it´s a race for both sides.
They would.
But what i mean is that the devs are probably not looking into applying more unhook pressure. -

It removes more time someone could repair their own Generator and it removes more time someone could help repair a Generator.Yes, 40 seconds...if you're lucky...spread out in 5 second increments...over 4 survivors...for an entire game. That's 40 pro-killer seconds (anti-genrush seconds). Whereas survivors could add 40 seconds, per chase, in pro-survivor seconds(seconds where teammates are cranking out gens) and they can do it multiple times per game. Let's say, in a simple world, this happens twice per survivor in a game. That's a total of 320 pro-survivor seconds added to each game for a perk like DS/SB/or DH. That's enough time to do 4 gens.
So, the argument here is the killer has this amazing perk that can, MAYBE, add 40 seconds to the entire length of a game. That's 40 seconds of added gen time! Again...maybe...in 5 second increments...per survivor...if you're lucky...
The mangled effect is trash. The fact that there are people trying to say otherwise is just insanity.
There's no luck involved: They either add up the extra time or they go down in 1-hit the next time you see them.
I'm not saying it isn't trash in comparison, i never made a direct statement.
This next comment of yours is already way better btw. -
I've always been tired of DS.
As for hatch, it did annoy me sometimes, but then i stopped caring about it like i did with ranks, and now it's all good. -

Those seconds add up real fast.
If you always successfully end chases and be able to hook everyone twice, you add a very nice 40 seconds for them to waste healing. This sentence is so ludicrous is broke my brain. I literally had to walk away from the keyboard for a moment to process it. I was like "It can add 40 seconds to healing?" That sounds pretty good! Till you consider he meant 40 seconds of healing spread across 4 survivors and an entire game. So in terms of game slow down, if we assume an average game is around 15 minutes, you've delayed the game but 1/2 of a percent. Yup, take 1 percent and now divide it by 2. That's how much time you've made them "waste".
I never looked at Sloppy Butcher for the mangled effect, however. It was just too inconsequential. What makes it really good is for tracking. That extra bleeding is really nice. So the perk isn't worthless it's just preferential(some people may not care for the bleeding) and to exaggerate the impact of the mangled effect is...wow. I just really don't even know what to say.
If your average is 15 minutes, there's something really wrong with your games.
5 minutes need to be removed at least.
It removes more time someone could repair their own Generator and it removes more time someone could help repair a Generator.
While you only think of the direct benefit, the Perk allows you to actually slow down a thing no one likes, which is genrush.
This Perk is no anti-genrush mind you, i never said it was actually powerful. (Read the comment again if you think otherwise.) I'd pick Pop Goes The Weasel or Hex: Ruin over it any day.
Using it for tracking though, you're already better off just using Bloodhound. And then there's also multiple other tracking Perks that are just better.
The only reason you wouldn't is if you don't have Wraith's Teachables, which is a stupid reason, it only takes 1 dozen hours to level someone to level 40 nowadays. Also, i can make an argument without starting and ending like a #########.

What pills do you take to not go insane from 24/7 loops? No pills, but I cut the loops better than the survivors and never respect pallets or swing through them (unless making use of a perk like Spirit Fury or in some baiting instances). I make use of enduring, or, with Myers, I stalk. With Billy, I can body block and get a free chainsaw. There are options.
What makes high ranks more appealing to you?
Don't feel restricted to naming only 1 reason btw, you can say all reasons if there's multiple.Well, rank means nothing other than time played. There are varying skill levels across all ranks and so rank is only indicative of time, not skill. So, to answer you with this in mind, I just don't pay attention to rank, but I like that with more time, there might be a few more people who can run loops better and attempt mind games. Those are fun chases and I can always learn more from playing against those types of players.
What about Survivor?
Yes, i'm seriously asking these questions, cause now i'm into it.
What about survivor?

That's possible. No I play survivor too. Rank 9 I think there. 90% killer though. What would you like to know?

there has been a ton of noobs at rank 1 because its really easy to pip as survivor now. thats why rank 1 is easy and people are getting rekt.play killer at rank 1(or any rank) and get really smart survivors when all of them know how to loop then you will understand.
Pipping as a survivor was easier back then. I play killer and currently I'm at rank 3. It's kinda challenging but most of the time the survivors I get are immersed P3 Claudettes.
But my main question is: Why were survivors considered to be fine and not OP according to Marth88 and his experiment? Why are survivors so OP now ? I mean, they got nerfed a lot. Pallets removed, pallet vacuum removed among other stuff that really helped killers.
Because none of those nerfs address one very OP thing about Survivors.
If they coordinate well enough (and you don't have to be SWF for that, though it does help), they can easily fix all Gens very quickly as long as they have someone else let the Killer chase them.
Of course some Killers suffer more from this than others, because devs absolutely WANT some Killers to suck hard. -
