Welp, lockers will now block auras both ways.
But don't complain about features that are restoring balance and fun to the game, right?

Rank 1's to 10.I think<3
I was rank 6 survivor, now I'm 12. I'm rank 10 Killer now.My current Killer rank, so after the reset, is 16, 1 pip.
But that means the wiki is wrong about ranks, no?Oh, I didn't know there was a Wiki about ranks.
I just spoke out of experience just now.https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Rank#Ranking
"If they lose enough Pips, they will de-rank and lose a Rank, up to Rank 15. De-ranking to below Rank 15 is no longer possible."
This is why i'm weirded out.
I don't really care which case is true currently, i'd just like some clarity.
-
No, what he means is that they're not gonna do anything to Nightmare because he has a rework scheduled.
Why buff/nerf directly when he'll be changed 1 year later, right? /sarcasm -
Cool.
-
Better than Hillbilly?
Maybe when there were only 4 Killers and infinites were a-okay.But now, i'd be more than satisfied if we get one with kill power comparable to Doctor or better.

If you didn’t rank up that much, you can still be reset past 15.Really?
I was under the impression you'd be locked out of 20-16 ranks once past 16. -

- Everything else
Yup, i'm that regular and boring.

-
That'd be good against Survivors that crashed.
But what about those that DC early?
It gives practically the same result, except that the Killer has a few more BP, and it's even worse for the remaining Survivors since they'll need to do 5 Generators instead of 4. -
Anti-Legion build: Playing Survivor.

Okay, your reason for its removal is because it has a crash bug.
Shouldn't you request a fix?
Cause then you can just skip it like usual again. It's not a crash bug, the game stops responding but it still goes on until the cinematic finishes. It's because it stops responding that it won't register as the active window and thus I can't skip the cinematic.
There's no crash, just an unskippable cutscene that hinders my PC in every other regard while it goes on.My bad, understood that wrong.
Though my response remains unchanged: A request for a fix should do.
-
Clear answer: Not bannable.
I don't think they intended it, but just like Generator tapping, Decisive Strike dribbling & others, it's been accepted by them as a legit thing. It's basically the Killer telling you: Next time, plan accordingly with the basement, whether you have good Perks or not.
-
So the Generators were done and the Exit Gates were open.
And you don't tell us anything else, so i will assume the match went like a normal DbD match. While i don't support such free use of DC, you did what you needed to escape and then got your 5k.
You were not affected in any way.
Them skipping out on BP is not for you to decide, whether you think it's right or wrong.
Of course, if they do it too much, they'll get banned. This person's also WAY more calm than most DCers i see in aftergame chat.

Yes.
Next topic! -
Events don't do enough for me.
Heh, the best part about them is more BP, but those aren't exclusive to events.
Sometimes they're just like: Oh yeah, this weekend *2 BP, sure.To me, all events ranged from somewhere between okay & Howling Grounds terrible.

I once escaped a Trapper at 5 Gens with all my fellow Survivors dead.
Took a while, but that was very enjoyable to me. -

Just wound up at MacMillan for the first time.

No, i've seen way more about Hag, people constantly going "She's so strong!" & "She's so weak!".
It's just an influx of threads now cause Legion's new. -
Lol, doesn't phase him at all.
Is this Bleach? -
One TINY thing that's so satisfying to me is when i start a match and i DON'T hear the Obsession sound.
Can't ever get that satisfaction in high ranks. -
You can't tell eachother such information as solos.
Or, y'know, as solo, you'd have to quickly friend all your fellow Survivors, pray they accept & then tell them. -
I don't really mind, got my special corn vision.
-
"We wanna make solo stronger to meet SWF"
buffs SWF massively with 1 buff -
Sidenote: Wraith now only has one Survivor-aura Add-on.

ScottJund said:While I'll concede that Legion would be at least decent with normal killer movement speed, it still doesn't address the fact he is the least fun killer in the game for both sides. I originally thought just giving him normal movespeed would at least bandaid him but he's actually completely fundamentally broken. Let's look at the ways to play him and why they are all terrible for both killer and survivor.
Basically the gameplay flow is: find survivor -> feral when close enough -> get free hit -> look around for nearby survivors. If none nearby, hit original target again to bleed out more. If there are survivors in range, tag them until you can't tag anyone else, then hit the closest survivor again to drain frenzy.
From there, you have a few options. The first is go look for someone who is mending, and just chase them as a no-power 110% movespeed killer. As long as the survivors have a brain and used their 20 seconds of bleedout to get to even a remotely safe area, this is painful and unfun for the killer.
You can also just repeatedly hit the survivor, waiting for your power to cooldown (which can be aided by addons). This guarantees you will eventually down the survivor because there's not much you can do to avoid a feral Legion. This is painful and unfun for the survivor.
The other option is to follow a survivor backwards and just cheese the chase mechanics of the game until they either bleed out or get to low enough bleedout to be hit by an unavoidable frenzy hit. This is painful and unfun for the survivor and the killer.
Hell, even people that still like hiding / playing stealthily can't do that.
That's it. Those are the options Legion has to down people. All of them are immensely boring, and not even 115% movespeed will fix these issues. He is fundamentally badly designed for maximum unfun. The developers in charge of Legion absolutely do not understand this, as they thought removing the double stun would be a good fix, when in reality all it does is promote the unavoidable eventual downing of a survivor with no counterplay earlier.
The sad part is even though he can guarantee downs on survivors, he's still awful. It takes a decent chunk of time without addons to either cheese chase mechanic down or just repeat-power use down. This ensures: the survivor being chased eventually has no counterplay, which feels terrible. It ensures the Legion will still lose vs. a coordinated team who spread out and do not waste time healing (because there is no point), and it ensures that the other teammates not actively being chased are either bored mending or bored doing generators.
Every single thing about Legion is bad.
I enjoy the legion. They're fun to play as and against imo. Such hate lately. If its not your killer so be it. Dont try to ######### in my sandwich
Can you find faults in any of my arguments, though?
Lol sorry, i have nothing to do with this conversation.
Just laughed cause i thought you said Vaults instead.
I'm like: No, there's no /|___|\ in your comment. -
People are using the good new Survivor Perks, not the bad new Killer & Perks.
-
I restarted 3 times by now and it's still my own cursor.
Huh...I'm actually happy with that. -

But getting 5 Totems to prevent NOED is too difficult.
It needs to be easier for Survivors so they can do generators! If that's the case, then 5 other Hex Perks needlessly suffer just because of NOED.
This is NOT the right change. -
@The_Crusader said:
I've been doing ok against clearly inexperienced survivors but it felt awkward taking stun after stun after stun to down them - yes Nurse does too but her power is worth it, legions isnt.Huh.
He's actually quite comparable to Nurse......comparable as in: We can compare how Nurse is universally better at everything except normal movement speed.

@Boss Can you please provide more information?
Details on your specs / platform / resultsNow that i read what i said, that only sounds logical: There should be a big difference between Low & Ultra.

But i was talking about a difference that i don't think should be there. This is on PC.
I have Wraith's Hallowed Blight outfit on.
When i switch between Low & Ultra, the lighting on it changes: Ultra seems dimmed.
I haven't tested on any other characters since i just don't have many lighting cosmetics. As for the lag-walking: I don't really know how else to describe it.
Eveything the Survivors do looks like their entire models are stuttering: They don't vault fluently, they don't run fluently, they don't repair fluently, etc. etc. -
Pretty big difference between Low & Ultra settings.
Also: Most Survivors seem to be lag-walking, if not everyone. -

You can also use the Vanity Mirror with the Dead Rabbit. Its the same effect except you're tier 2 with I think a slightly bigger terror radius than Scratched Mirror. It's dope af.
Your lunge also won't be #########.
Use the letter as it gives normal lunge range
I know.
But then you can't use anything else for a 2nd Add-on.Pros: Faster movement speed than scratched mirror, further lunge than scratched mirror, see survivors through walls, smaller terror radius than normal tier 2.
Cons: No 2nd offering.
I feel like the pros out weigh the cons. The only thing the add ons were really good for is increasing the duration of tier 3. And if I remember correctly you can't go into tier 3 with vanity mirror.
The Vanity Mirror also decreases your movement speed, you're only 3% faster than Evil Within I.

OP, would be interesting to know how many of those games ended up in a 4k / 3k /2k / 0k?I'm sure there is a direct relation to the results of your matches. People rarely judge the matches based on the actual experience during the game, all that matters is the result.
This.
As Killer, to me at least, getting a gg from a Survivor who died is like running 4 Hex Perks (with 1 of them being Hex: Haunted Ground & Hex: Ruin while Hex: Thrill of the Hunt NOT being one of them) and having none be cleansed at the end. -

Plus it's on a Hex Totem, it'll be gone soon, especially if you run Hex: Ruin too.Yeah maybe you're right but I still think it would be fun especially if the totem doesn't spawn next to the gen and actually at a good spot.
Oh yeah, i agree that it could be fun.
I remember slugging one Survivor with Knock Out and, since they weren't SWF, the other 3 were running around for at least half the slug's health bar. -

Devour Hope at Tier 3 gives you a 10 second Haste effect which could help, could of course.Being someone who runs this Perk 24/7, i can safely say: This ability on Devour Hope is complete crap, not even worth 1 Token.
Yeah okay, there are gonna be VERY RARE situations where this would actually help.
But then you might as well run Monstrous Shrine, so you may prevent the 4% in the basement.
That's how comparably bad i'd rate that DH ability. -

Good for you being the bigger person.
Ha, it's purely because I'm too lazy to do them.
The fun of the game is in the chases and the early game pressure.
When its spending 10 mins looking for 2 immersed claudettes sneaking around the map waiting on the hatch its so slow lol I'd rather just let ond get the hatch and move on to a new game than sit there for 10 mins for a few pitiful points. Could earn more points by moving to a new game.
Well yeah, that's my reason to: Just don't wanna deal with ######### mechanics.
But the result is the same: Not wasting eachother's time while earning nothing. -

Currently, ranking's different from "winning".
If you want to rank, you should've hidden after getting unhooked.
If you want to survive, don't complain about what you just did.I'm not saying i disagree with the ranking being #########, cause it is.
Just saying that, if you want to get both, ya' gotta change up your game.
