Nice idea but what would the blessing perks be?Whatever the devs could think of.
Stuff like...Once you've Blessed a Dull Totem, the Killer will now be unable to build up Bloodust when chasing you.
Or like mentioned before...
Once you've Blessed a Dull Totem, you are immune to the Exposed Status Effect.
Or...
Once you've Blessed a Dull Totem, you can start gaining Tokens for every Generator that's repaired after you made it a Blessed Totem.
And every Token increases your movement speed across all movements (crawling, crouch-walking, walking, running) by 1%.
(Cannot gain Tokens when you don't have a Dull Totem Blessed yet, and can't use the bonus nor gain more Tokens when the Blessed Totem is destroyed.)Or...
Once you've Blessed a Dull Totem, a random broken pallet is repaired every 2 minutes.
Again, just examples.
But what i personally like about the concept is that you can try to make these Perks REALLY powerful.
Because, like mentioned before, they still suffer the same weakness, and Killers, unlike Survivors, both move faster and don't need to stealth around. -
We're humans, of course we can't.
-
I don't get it btw.
https://steamcharts.com/app/438740#6m
You made this in August and said "recently".
Whether the game's thriving or not depends purely on the playercount, and nothing happened in August.
If you said this in November, i'd believe that. Not that it really matters, the hype seemed to die in a week or so once again.
-
Idk, 40 seconds ain't a lot of time to wait.
You'll be able to use an Exhaustion Perk about 12 times max. when assuming the devs' average desired match time, 8 minutes.
Now of course you won't be able to use it all the time, but it does mean you'll mostly have the Perk ready for a chase if you don't waste it before the chase.
And the devs said they don't want it to be used too frequently, hence no recovery while in a chase.I get that it was neat when it was here, even i who don't like those Perks tried it out to enjoy the fast recovery.
But i think Exhaustion Perks are more in a good place than ever right now. (Unless i'm forgetting some sort of holy-balance time period.) -
Holy damn, discussion revival to the max.

How recent is this? Did it start with the event?
@Boss Patch, I’m getting it’s a system variation thing, because PS4 is experiencing it for sure.
Ahh, i'm on PC.
Guess i don't have anything to do with this then.

They are referring to Deep Wounds replacing the old Enduring timer.Oh.
I myself don't really care, i go for the unhooker anyway.
Even with just an M1 Killer, they're pretty easy to get.
Plus, they waste the hooked person's hook time by removing an entire phase.
Plus i get to put the unhooker into their current phase.
Basically, i don't even experience the Deep Wound effect all that much and give the BT user what they want.Of course, if the situation is special, like the Deep Wound guy being close by or something, wanting to unhook, i'll experience it, but it's still not that horrible: They're almost like a Healthy Survivor, which is just a common chase.
-
That makes Devour Hope pretty insane.
Losing the M1 1-hit ability's bad for any Killer who isn't Hillbilly & running this, but once you have 5 Tokens, you'll either be guaranteed to kill them or just watch over the one you just downed and then wait for 1 seconds min. & 40 seconds max.
Whether you can afford that time is up to you, but sit through it and you'll guarantee yourself a kill anyway.
Rather than reducing Token-based Hex Perks by a Tier, i suggest they should lose a Token or 2.On another note, reducing it to Tier 1 barely affects Huntress Lullaby.

You mean in the beginning?
Cause that one was actually too much. -
Getting many buffs isn't a good point at all.
I'm not saying what i think, but the amount of buffs don't matter if they're not good enough buffs.
Killers had it horrible in comparison to before, i agree.
Especially with the one that you left out: Infinites.
But saying a side is good enough because they gained many buffs is ignorant. -

Yup. It's why showing it in the HUD would be a good addition to showing Add-ons.
Or just hit esc for 1 second if loaded in. Make to an habit. If that's to much and u still forget it I think you should work on your memorie and do some training instead of asking for more HUD implementation to carry you
Or just put it in the HUD, since it wouldn't be any kind of big deal you make it out to be.
I explained last time how forgetting the Mori works, but i guess you forgot.
But I don't want an overloaded HUD for something unnecessary just because some people forget they have mori
Toggle option.

- Step #1: Don't let Hex: Huntress Lullaby give out any notifications until it has 1 or more Tokens.
- Step #2: Remove all Cursed Status Effect notifications for rank 15 and higher.
That's how i'd do it.
If it was unbalanced, i'd revert it and think it over again. -
Yup.

Probably not, Dying Light is the same as killing specific Survivors, and letting people go is never bannable unless you do it AFK style.
...which is kinda weird now that i think about it: AFKing all the time is, eventually, bannable, since it "ruins the enjoyment of Survivors who want to play the game normally", yet being a friendly Killer's fine.
-
"hate this game"
"subscription box"
All memes aside, there's nothing i can add: I just simply agree that this game should be running at 60 FPS on ALL maps with ANY Killer on AT LEAST Medium settings for MOST players. -

Refreshing doesn't fix it though.
Rather than leaving frustration there and recommending other games, the aim should be to make it not frustrating. It's a bad line for business as well.
But also, as we've seen with DS/Freddy, if they say something on stream they'll have it brought up every day until it's done, this just creates more negativity and frustrations because they haven't done what the players expect.
There's been several killer buffs this year, certainly changes that made killing easier and the updates were made after that comment, so while he did say that, they were of course working on things behind the scenes to make it easier.
Isn't that ironic?
Who said they want more transparency? The devs.
To avoid confusions, misunderstandings, frustrations etc.
Which is good.
So changes that will heavily affect the players shouldn't have a behind-the-scenes. -
@AlwaysInAGoodShape said:
@BossSo it's just about the first thing (5%haste) being weak and the perk not lasting long enough to reach 5 tokens?
5-Tokens bonus is moreso to give the Killer enjoyment & fulfillment once every few matches.
If you have a Survivor team that isn't new, that Hex Totem (usually) won't live for THAT long. -

Were you there, when they said we should play the different game if we feel that killer playing killer is frustrating and unfun?People keep bringing this up like it's a bad thing.
When I'm frustrated with something I take a break and do something else, I think it's refreshing that a developer of a game can accept that some parts can be frustrating and offer advice to play something else rather than getting angrier and angrier doing the same thing.
Refreshing doesn't fix it though.

I think I've understood you correctly here.
I'm not even sure if it's true but the tier 1 and 2 versions might even be stronger than the tier 3 version due to the perk giving itself away. I'm not 100% sure if it does, but I'm happy I didn't pick that perk in my bloodweb yet xDI hope you understood me correctly, cause i'm not sure if you did.
I was talking about the 5% Haste.Tier 1 is strong, removing people straight from the trial always is.
But you'd be surprised how much time you save by 1-hitting everyone with the easy-to-hit main weapon.
If you combine that with some Hex Totem patrolling & a map that isn't any of the 2016 maps, your chances to get to 5 Tokens rise a whole lot, regardless of Perk level. The only thing hurting this Perk really hard right now is, obviously, what hurts any Hex Perk.
-
- Nightmare rework (It's time, 7 seconds have never felt so long to me until i started playing this guy. And nope, Block Add-ons are not a solution, they're bandaids.)
- Cannibal rework (Is weak at anything except defense, which is lame since you need to hunt. Add-on arsenal isn't built around his chainsaw, but Hillbilly's. Plus 4 of them barely even work.)
- Replacing Legion's Power.
-
Huh, i have quite some annoyances with this game.
But i'm never frustrated, while i am still passionate. If annoyances count, i guess Devour Hope switching from a 1-Token power that gives away your Perk to a 2-Tokens power that doesn't do anything unless you're in specific situations and even within those situations the bonus is way too small to matter unless you're in specific situations within those specific situations, annoys me.
-
Only the last one, and just barely.
Despise thick sweaters. -
5.
-
But it'll INcrease lobby dodges, as people get confirmation other people run things they don't want to encounter.
-
Maybe their irl cancer was acting up.
-
No thanks.

-
I don't really care if it is.
If it's allowed, i'd probably do it if i find it effectve and/or fun. -
No thanks, my encounters with toxic players is small enough for me to tolerate them every now and then.

Like how Monitor & Abuse is terrible on Doctor if you're going for the standard Static Field build.

Don't similar threads pop up like every week?

It's good to see people like it, but also see that it has counters.
-
2 nice Perks.
-
Really? I don't find 16 seconds long at all.

That would mean using intended ingame mechanics would get you banned.
That's weird. -
Ew no.

You gotta be a...special person to like this...special Killer.
