  • It's holding instead of clicking to allow last-moment changes of mind.
    Can't do that with clicking.

  • I do love seeing that number just SHOOT up as Wraith when running Distressing & "The Beast" - Soot, you'll be done with Deviousness in 3-4 hits.

Anyway, i don't think many would mind one bit if such Perks went from trial-BP only to post-trial-BP only.

  • Paid servers wouldn't do well with consoles.
Buy the game, pay the subscription fee to play online and then pay the monthly dedicated servers fee to play a 20 euros game?
    That's gross.

  • That 5 Token bonus is so anticlimatic.

  • Sorta. At least with Killer, yes.
    Survivor is surprisingly controller-friendly.

  • For the 3rd point, i bet it disappears once they press the button. I believe you're in the "Hide in the locker" state immediately, but the animation just has to play.

  • Probably the same as before.
And 70% of them will fail to trigger against me anyway.

  • It shouldn't take longer than any number with a single digit, but the Tap2Stop is silly indeed.

  • @PolarBear said:
First of all, they didn't increase the time to pickup survivors. People just thought it was increased since Legion's pickup animation is similar to the old one.

    Oh really?
So i don't have to look at Entity Blindness every pick-up! Yay!

  • My lots are probably buying the chapter.
I prefer to be supportive and get them to produce more awesome ######### like Spirit, Dance With Me, Barbecue & Chili etc.
Yeah, Legion's not in a good place right now.
But i can still play them if i buy it. And if they want more people to buy them, they'll have to do something about it anyway.

Yeah I have the feeling actually collecting data like these is pointless. The ones who CAN'T put this together will not be convinced anyway to give up their whiny ways.

My personal experience is quite similar to yours.
The complaints mostly arise because the toxicity is what you'll remember the most.

  • I mean, anyone can put this together without actually doing it.

  • Tbh, i find it very difficult to come up with something actually good.
Any idea you have, no matter how well thought out, will have dozens of holes in it still, and this community will LOVE pointing them out so don't worry about not knowing about the holes.

  • Lol, as if there weren't enough complaints about "only facing Nurses and Hillbillies".
You'd gonna create a massive wave of dissatisfaction with this.

    >Meyers is able to benefit from it. If you limit yourself to EW1, you cant get it. That also means you're playing a stalk build. Why else would you not go EW2.

Which is quite ridiculous that you cannot in EW1, as that litterally forces you to go to higher EWs, which is the equivalent of forcing you to play in a certain way. Furthermore, if being designed around stalking and having a low terror radius means you shouldn't have bloodlust, then for instance pig shouldn't be able to get it as she designed around stalking too. Not only is she designed around that but she also has a default 4.6m/s move speed and she can also charge so does she really need it? I don't think she does.

The pig, like Myers, also has two options. She can crouch around, or she can chase. Likewise, Myers can sneak around in EW1 and try to outsmart the survivors to get hits, or he can stalk to tier up and then chase. If you manage to get bloodlust while crouching after survivors, I don't know what you did right or what they did wrong, but you earned it.

There is a wrong way to play some killers. Just because something is an option doesn't mean it's going to be an optimal way to play. In the case of Myers, trying to brute force in EW1 is objectively the wrong way to play it. The strength of EW1 is his low terror radius, making it possible to sneak up on survivors and get a surprise hit. He is not meant to chase in this mode. If you do decide to follow through for a second hit, you're supposed to use LOS blockers to get closer and go for another surprise attack when the survivor feels like they've escaped. If you just want to chase, tier up.

There is something quite wrong with what you're saying there, just because some way of playing isn't the optimal way, shouldn't mean you should be forced to play the intended or optimal way to play it, which the decision to exclude bloodlust from EW1 exactly does, it specifically forces the killer to play in a certain way - the intended way. Every killer should have the option to play how they damn well please, whether it be optimal, intended, do an m1 bruteforce playstyle or a completely different way of playing.

You and I are going to have to agree to disagree there. I don't think you should be able to intentionally play something the wrong way and expect good results. I could play the nurse without blinking but that doesn't mean it's going to be good. If you choose not to use your power, you are handicapping yourself. In the case of Myers, you are not meant to chase people in EW1, which is why by design he moves slower and has next to no lunge.

I ain't going to stop you if that's how you want to play him, but it's like not using pallets or windows as a survivor and expecting everything to come up Milhouse. It's just not gonna' happen.

You can really screw yourself over if you use Scratched Mirror and wind up on an open map like Shelter Woods.

  • I'll be going by all sentences ending in a ?

    • I don't.
    • Meta or not, specific abilities will require specific counters. You'll never be able to counter Decisive Strike by equipping Save The Best For Last for example.
    • You don't have to counter if you don't want to. I don't run anything to counter Self Care while there's at least 4 Perks that fight this Perk, i just let them use it.
    • I don't mind the game being grindy, and i have a good time mostly.

I did once think of a new idea though...

As an example: Imagine that you buy Level 1 Enduring on Trapper.
Instead of that Perk randomly reappearing in a later Bloodweb as Enduring Level 2, it will move to a menu where you can see all Perks that aren't level 3 that The Trapper owns.
Here, you can level his Perks as you see fit.
These prices are still in Bloodpoints, but they're much more expensive now. (I can't think of right prices.)
Perks with a higher rarity will cost more as well, and Perks going from Level 2 to Level 3 will cost more as well.
Once a Perk is level 3, it will go away from the menu.

I know that this absolutely should NOT exist for Items, Add-ons & Offerings, as you can always buy the stuff you want that way without end.

I'm actually surprised that noones said tough, deal with it git gud. Because this is actually an important issue and those of you commenting so far have been reasonable and that's pretty rare in these forums. I like these suggestions for making the struggle phase less tedious whilst at the same time making the game accessible for the few with nerve, muscle issues and similar conditions.

We're talking about someone with a physical limitation.
They'd be one huge-ass douchebag to talk about just gaining more skill in here.

A while ago i stumbled upon someone not being able to see some aura colors AT ALL, being at one huge disadvantage.
There's still nothing done about it.
Being able to pick your own aura colors is something i wanna see.

  • If you need help, you can always replace one of your Perks with Small Game.
    Or equip a Map with a range Add-on & Killer equipment Add-on.

Well i like HOW Nightmare plays, no matter if he's weak or strong.
Heck, there's Nightmare mains out there, nothing but playing Nightmare.

I'm not a fan of how Legion is played in general, but i'm sure some others do.

And it's only that one person who gets hurt, the Killer doesn't know who that person is or what totem they destroyed, also it promotes Survivors to not touch the totems. I want this perk to be buffed because I love Basement perks but I think this is really cool as well.

Remember that it doesn't hurt them, it only makes them go into the Injured Health State.
This will not down them if they already are Injured, cause otherwise this Perk would be WAY too good with Deerstalker. :p
What i mean with this is: A Survivor who's already Injured won't have to fear ability #1 of my Perk suggestion.

I don't feel like doing all 5 Totems on my own is a lot of work.
    What do we do now?

It is not doing all 5 totems on your own.

It is knowing not whether totems are being done or not. This is why @Nickenzie differentiated swf from solos.

As a solo survivor, I might be wasting my time since you cleared all of totems. On the other hand, If I don't look for them, there is a NOED potential.

I stated this in another thread, there are no other perks like NOED and DS that create great momentum or kill it. Both of them deserves a rework.

I am not actively wanting NOED and DS to be removed from the game. I just own it and keep going on my way. It is just that the game would be better without these two perks.

Well it's not like Totems disappear.
If i see a cleansed Totem, i can add it to my mental counter.
Then just memorize the locations like i always do.

  • I don't feel like doing all 5 Totems on my own is a lot of work.
    What do we do now?

  • Killer arm + weapon > Survivor + 2 ft between them and the window
As for bullshit hits that indeed should never have hit you, you should start experiencing less bullshit hits after dedicated servers come in.

    Hmm, interesting.
I wonder who is wrong, the game or the wiki.
I mean yeah, normally the game is the one that's right, but it could be a visual bug.
    I just don't know.

Like the Bloody Coil but for totems? I like it.

    ...Oh.
Yeah, you're right, one of the Perk's functions is exactly like the Bloody Coil, i didn't even realize. :p
I thought i might want to do that with Hex Totems only actually, because of the thunder sound.
But i'll do this for now.

  • When you look at the numbers in the code, who knows: You might actually see that they should appear more.

    But noticeably? Absolutely not.

  • What if you would have to hit Skill Checks to stay alive?

  • Not hyped, probably still gonna buy it.

  • Anyone who's gonna buy the DLC with expectations gained only from watching the cinematic trailer aren't people who made a smart purchase.

So when a Killer doesn't camp, spots a Survivor going for a rescue, follows them and makes it back just in time for a grab, they can't grab, even though they're not a camper?
If a Hillbilly is on the other side of the map, comes back in a Chainsaw sprint and hits the unhooker, they won't get a Dying State Survivor, even though they're not a camper?

I'm not arguing the semantics of camping, I have no issues with camping & tunnelling, play as you want. I have an issue with people trying to say it's the survivors fault they're camping or tunnelling.

If you want to hit the injured person, go for that's the killers decision.

Don't interpret this negatively, cause that's not my aim...but why do you tell me that?
I directed that previous comment towards MhhBurgers.

My apologies, Mhhburgers if you read this thread he's literally just posting to troll, he's a die hard killer and goes on in this thread that he only wants to camp to ruin peoples fun.

I just assumed because you didn't tag anyone and I was pretty heavily involved in the conversation

    No worries, we're cool. :p
Just wanted to ask some question to them in which these changes of theirs can occur without the Killer being a camper.
Because, no matter how rare these situations may be, when they do occur, they would be denied their well-earned grab or insta-down, which is incredibly unfair.

In my opinion - what you've selected should be locked the moment you click ready.

The only drawback is when someone leaves and the timer resets which sucks because say there's 2 TB's and yours is one of them a 3rd person joins with a TB. Now usually the killer instantly dodges when that happens i simply just take mine off so it's back to 2.

If anything the timer should lock in at 15 seconds for survivors and no changes after that and then the killer has 10 seconds before being locked in at 5 seconds. That way there's none of this last second switching nonsense.

Oh sure even with this there'll be some but with 10 seconds for the killer to prepare if they need to it won't matter really.

I myself wouldn't really mind if they were to strip the Killer of the ability to see Items, Survivors or both at the lobby.
But it's there for a reason. And the reason is obviously to be able to see what you're gonna fight and respond to it by changing your equipment if you so desire.
While quitting when you see something you dislike is definitely not something i support, last-second-switching to remove a feature the Killer has feels more scummy to me.

  • I feel like the "Near the Killer" soundtrack wouldn't work near as well without the heartbeat.
And i do think the soundtrack's pretty nice, but i also think such games might actually profit more from not having a soundtrack.
At least, i imagine it might be scarier to go from hearing nothing to suddenly SMACK, ARGH, KILLER, RUNNING!

  • So when a Killer doesn't camp, spots a Survivor going for a rescue, follows them and makes it back just in time for a grab, they can't grab, even though they're not a camper?

  • I often get Coldwind Farm, which is good for me cause i don't suffer from corn-vision.

  • @BogdanNEK said:
Do you still see this type of survivors?

I don't think i encounter them nearly as frequent as others claim they do, but i actually had one 3 weeks ago.
To me, that's recent enough to believe: Yes, those types still exist.

  • Remove a Perk?
At most, it should instead be replaced with something different so that everyone who bought that Perk 1/2/3 times on the Bloodweb isn't stripped of something they earned.

  • It wasn't to show off an ability.
    It was a cinematic trailer.
What you want is gameplay trailers.

  • Well no Perk or Add-on is surprisingly underused to me, with metas being a thing and all.

But underrated i can name a few...

    This combination for example.
    The strongest? No.
But it's pretty nice to immediately go cloaked again thanks to Blink, and then break the pallet much faster after they drop it thanks to Shadow Dance, then run after them again with your faster movement speed from being cloaked, and thus also getting the huge lunge from your speed boost after uncloaking.

And this bad boy of course...

There's no reason for any of this happen

The reason is to not have the risk-reward Perks not have the reward part 90% of the time.

But... you know they'll still know regardless right?

Like, you have to go to a generator to be known of Ruin... which means regardless of a symbol or not, you'll know it's there?

    Again, Huntress Lullaby is excluded.

There's no sense (TO ME) to your reasoning

    They'll still know regardless.
So there's no need for them.
This in turn allows potential against those few that don't know. (There's always gonna be some.)
You know, taking advantage of them lacking information or being misinformed, which is a big factor in any PvP game.

  • Thanks to most of his Add-ons not being balanced around him & having the most powerful melee weapon at base, i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even get a QoL change for a long time.

The speed Add-ons & Chili Add-ons still suck hard btw.
