I tried to get into a game as killer for 3 hours, after I gave up, I tried to play survivor, and i'm currently on the 2 hour mark. I'm used to matchmaking being bad, but not this horrendous. I bought all 3 of bills perks in the shrine before they released him (apparently was the explanation given when I originally reported this) and now they won't show up in the bloodweb so basically I have to level up bill to get his teachables again. Please delete this ghastly perk. Dog ######### killers do terrible the entire game until the exit gates are powered and get at least one confirmed kill. With every hex you can tell what perk it is throughout the game, but with No One Escapes Death you don’t know the killer has it until they down someone. There’s an issue where if you played on the 7th of July instead of the 5th or 6th, you don’t receive the Claudette pants. I didn’t get a chance to play on the 5th or 6th, but I played Dbd for a few hours on the 7th. I booted my game up tonight and noticed that I don’t have the Claudette cosmetic. Decisive Strike allowes you to escape the killer IF you have been hooked in the last 60sec and after that the perk is removed for the match. You just need to hit an easy skill check. In the end the killer can still wait the 60sec. Dead hard allowes you to prevent being downed in the first place! No need for being hooked and the perk goes on a small cooldown. Im a survivor main , i always love playing survivor not because i dont like killer but simply because im just not good at playing killer at all. Killer is not good for me so i stick with survivors. I understand it works like other game passes and it makes players to play the game as much as possible, but what does this leave for new players? Isn't it more logical to keep any/all game content to encourage new players to try the game out? Chainsaw reving and holding at loops was a big big part of hillbillys mind game potential (watch curve montages of Billy mains on youtube). This was essential to get the most curve downs with him. I see a lot of lacklustre opinion of the Deathslinger. I started playing him a few weeks ago in an effort to learn a new killer and I'm of mixed opinion. On the one hand the harpoon can be very strong nabbing people from afar but his counter play is probably where he falls down. Deathslinger pretty much ignores the game's core mechanics and doesn't teach players much of anything to improve on or against other Killers. Deathslinger doesn't really do looping. The odds of pallet stunning one are near zero. They just mindgame you until they quickscope through a crack, a window or on a long wall. What's the point once the gens are done? The Survivors don't open the gate anyway, so no chance for Blood Warden play. No One Escapes Death gets you one free insta-down and hook before it's cleansed (if any dull totems were still standing when the gens finished).
