Please post upcoming events on steam news page.
Made a post about this on steam forums and mod closed it instantly. In a sense he made it sound like I have to look at the forums and website everyday to know of upcoming events.
Not everyone has time to go to all of there favorite games sites to see upcoming events.

We post the main news on Steam as well, but we choose to use our Official Forum for the majority of our news. We only have a few sections on Steam now, we wish to keep the majority of information in one place for our players - such as bug reporting, technical issues etc.
