It isnt realistic to burn a map offering like that for every single game that I play.

It's not realistic to not assume people aren't running theses offerings. As these offerings lead to survivor sided maps which makes them more common.

I don't know if I just haven't found the right resources, but it seems to me that whenever I try to look for advice against nurse the most you'll get is break LoS and more importantly, hope that the nurse player isn't very experienced. From what I'm learning, if the nurse is god tier, you just die. All that you can do is hope for hatch and see how much time you can waste. I'm aware that she's kind of a controversial topic for discussion. People that play her well aren't looking for changes in any way, which is understandable considering how much time they put into learning her kit. Maybe I'm the black sheep here, but Imo, playing against an experienced nurse sucks. It really just comes down to hiding and seeing how much time you can waste before she inevitably kills you and then your whole team. The best game I've ever had against a god nurse there were 3 generators done, and that's with literally spawning on her ruin. Dealing with god nurses just isn't fun. And honestly, neither is playing against inexperienced nurses. You don't really feel like you're ever truly in danger of losing and sure if you enjoy clowning on lesser skilled players than you it's probably enjoyable, but it's not my thing. Does anyone else agree? I feel like I need to just start running flashlights in every match of survivor on the off chance that it's against nurse. Even then I can only hope to waste maybe 1 minute of her time, tops. Is there any advice I'm not seeing to play against her? I find her pretty frustrating so I'll take all of the advice I can get. Thanks in advance.

Nurse can be countered by using Coldwind, yamoaka and mother dwelling offerings

She is also hard countered by stealth perks like Lightweight, poised and off the record.

    Theses perks also break LOS

Hmmmmm. it's almost as if you havn't read any of the numerous responses explaining how walls are badly implented.

It's almost like they're implemented for a one time loop, Which isn't the main issue. Macmillan and Azarovs have been fairly tame and not busted like dead dawg saloon. Also I can read responses and not agree with them.

  • Hmmmm. it's almost like breakable walls serve a purpose as a 1 time loop. That becomes unsafe afterwards.

  • Noed isn't strong too begin with you have 10 minutes to break 5 totems

Rank actually does matter usually the best players are in red ranks lol no top % player is gonna be in yellow ranks unless they depip but back to victor, you can't mindgame lockers as it literally tells you when they switch back to Charlotte. And even if you use victor as a beacon you're still a m1 killer nobody is scared of Charlotte. Then its the fact of if victor can even get you before you can jump in a locker (which are everywhere) imagine chasing someone across the map with him then they just jump in one like how is this killer good? Wasting all that time for no payoff. This killer makes clown A tier

Trust me I sit in rank 1 lobby rank means nothing, all random ate literally brain dead in some way shape or form doesnt matter what platform. Plus the rank system is pretty broken at the moment and doesn't exist on the ptb. Once again you can mind game lockers and pretend to afk. Ironically the most destructive loops to Victor are 50/50s. Wraith, demogorgan, pig and legion suffer from the same issue clown does and honestly legion and wraith are pretty horrible base kit killers. Clown cqn at least slightly catch up. Your also meant to gang up on a survivor with Charlotte and Victor don't be afraid to make distance but Charlotte a stand by while your Victor. What I'm saying is The Twins aren't op but calling them the weakest killer is a stretch.

No Perks work with victor. going inside lockers full counters victor. kidnapping victor makes Charlotte a m1 killer. this killer could have a high skill cap if everything she did was not counterable you want them to not change this killer? What are you rank 14?

    1. Well one you act like rank matters, it doesn't.

    2. You can multi task Victor when survivors are in the locker and can mind game that factor

    3. Lockers are literally Victors counter as he can counter low walled loops, vaults, T walls and small sized map props

    4. This killer can be two places at once and has the ability to proxy and camp extremely hard.

    5. Victor is literally a Beacon telling you survivor locations and has the ability to trap survivors during end game.

    6. Charlotte only wastes 5 seconds during transition thats Freddy's gen teleport time

    7. Victor can be stuffed in small cubbys like walls to play mind games or detect survivors easier as Charlotte.

But yeah no I think giving her time would be the best option she's only been out since Tuesday nobody can master them in that time.

Yea if the survivors are potatoes you can roll them lol I like going against this killer because they are easy to loop and bully

I think she has a higher skill cap than people think. I hope they leave her alone for the ptb and launch of the dlcc I think she could be a monster with teachables and practice.

  • Victor moves so fast and can injure super quickly that I'm shocked that people think there weak. You can quite literally run a anti heal build keep everybody injured and steam roll them with Victor if the survivors aren't careful. I honestly find their pros and cons kinda balanced.

  • Honestly feels like deathgarden devs made it in terms of personality and theme.

  • Your saying this but in 2-3 weeks Ormond is getting a complete redo. Which was probably the whole issue ormond is pretty stupid at times.

  • Ok so.

    1. Fire crackers are a horribly weak blind item not even comparable to a key.

    2. Keys and Mori"s should take a lot to use in a match

    3. Killers actually got some fair map nerfs the past few updates Ormond,Badham etc

    4. Both Survivors and Killers actually got quite a few meta perks for each side from the past few chapters. Soul Guard, Undying etc

    5. Pop nerf literally is not that big of a deal you still got 45 seconds.

    6. Honestly see Decisive Strike is strong but Unbreakable is even more broken.

    7. Killer Add-ons can be just as Survivor add-ons and tools.

    8. Survivors Toolboxs still need a light nerf honestly the charge add-ons due to the Comodious Toolbox.

    9. Deathslinger,Pyramid Uncountable base kits are borderline aggravating and off putting for regular players.

I know the orginal poster said some of this but i'm saying i agree with them. Honestly a lot of good and dumb changes are constantly happening for both sides.

  • I don't get why Gen rushing is a term survivors have 2 main things too do save and unhook. Chests, healing and totems are optional a majority of the time. Patrolling and proxying are two completely different terms and honestly is a valid strategy only on two occasions killers with weak map pressure or a one sided game. Camping is sitting in front of a hook literally giving up all map pressure which hurts you in the long run of the match if the survivors are smart enough to do gens.

  • I've logged on before then too, June 1st and before. I was saving bloodpoints up for the event.

  • @SnakeSound222 said:

No. Exhaustion add-ons are fine. They do not need to be nerfed (in fact, I wouldn't mind seeing more of them). If you're relying on Exhaustion perks to win, then you need get good. Simple as that.

Honestly true, People get mad about hex perks as well, "They get broken fast" but i see Exhaustion and Hex's fit in the same category as they are both strong but can be useless in some situations.

    Solvent Jug:

Survivors hit directly by a Bottle suffers from the Exhausted Status Effect for 30 seconds.

His base power alone barely slows the survivor down and only spares him only a few seconds in a good chase, Honestly his addons is the only thing left to give him a fighting chance. So i rather have his addons stay until his power gets buffed.

The difference being that the grind was so massive on a game nobody knew would succeed. It was unbalanced to #########, the grind was like 100x worse, level 10 looked like level 50, and it was meant as a reward to those who'd prestiged and grinded and supported the game even though nobody thought it would succeed.

The only time I'd support legacy being returned is when the very last person loses it.

You can say the same thing for 2017 Lunar event players who went through tedious and enunciating balancing issues, Which hurt and stopped progress due to the broken state that pallets and addons where at the time. Vaults were broken in 2016, But in 2017 Vaults,Infinites and way too many pallets where just as rampant as 2016. This halted peoples progress on both sides and the grind was just as bad due to the lack of bloodpoints and bbq didn't exist until the other half of the year which was September 14th. So honestly why not just make a new grind system that helps the game by adding another reason to prestige and level up and allow Veterans to get Legacy as they have gave their commitment to the game and community.

  • @irishbutcher said:

maybe most people wouldnt be able to earn it if they only played for four hours a day. something extremely difficult to still honour old players.

I did the bloodweb was mean't to take a really long time and limit the grind purpose to take longer. as "Blight Points" Is needed to level up it's a new currency and has a lower cap, While the perks/Item tiers themselves where practically double too.

Bloodpoint boosters won't work with this new point system you just have to power through it.

So your cap is 500,000 like old Dead By daylight and everything in your bloodweb is double the price.

  • @irishbutcher said:

i knew people would just talk about the grindy bloodweb and not look properly in the discussion.

I mean Discussion is a Discussion i guess, I wanted to look more deeper into than just the bloodweb as it's suppose to be a Hard mode instead. With a reward to come with it.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/165556/a-serious-discussion-on-why-legacy-should-be-a-unlockable-again

an super awesome Idea and the best "FOR ALL PLAYERS" in Dead by Daylight. I like that idea of a throwback Event and on year 2020 it´s def. makable.

Yeah i honestly think it's better to have a "For All Players" Mentality as it helps the community grow and not miss out on anything. That's why i think it should be a hard grind to unlock Legacy. But all players get the option too though.

  • @Mozzie said:

It's not worth it. The game literally stole not only the legacy clothing from me but multiple clothing pieces (including bloody!) and all the helpdesk did was tell me to watch the forums. The incompetency is so rampant behind this game.

Hey if they allowed this at least you would always be able to unlock again eventually and it would make it easier for them to track who owns it now because the game has dedicated servers.

  • @tatterz said:

I've been saying for years that they could make like a blue or pink version of legacy. P3-50 Max Perks a character before X date. They don't have to make Legacy worthless, but they can reskin it in a way.

Or If they do cross-progression and they combine your PS4 account together with your PC account, if you have P3 Character on both accounts it gives you like a Pink Legacy or something.

Honestly yeah that's a great idea but i would like them to start with Original color scheme first and then do seasonal colors for players too, If they miss out they just have to wait for the event like Solstice Legacy or Blight Legacy next year.

  • That's why the currency is different too bloodpoints you can't use bloodpoint boosters as it will do nothing, You also have a insane grind compared to the original as you have a higher price and a Currency cap by half. Which makes the player grind slowly through each bloodweb.
