Our plan was to release the 3.3.0 Mid-Chapter update along with the Withering Blight event on October 22nd, but due to some instability with the build, we decided it was best to postpone the launch until the major issues are resolved. We would like to take this opportunity to fill you in on what’s going on and where we stand with the 3.3.0 update. What0 comments 86,781 views last activity

Where are the offerings to take a role of The Ghost Face and Demogorgon? Will they be added or BHVR abandoned that idea for licensed killers? I would like to try Ghost Face in matchmaking before buying him.12 comments 481 views last activity

When are killers buffed? Some are just not played now due to nerfing. Killers usually run ruin (luck) or corrupt (less effective) as survivors will tunnel/rush generators meaning the game is almost over before they get a hook. SWF is easy to spot on the game so why isn't the killer given an advantage/survivor disadvantage to the gods like free 'telepathy' on perk?26 comments 791 views last activity

So in recent times I've noticed survivors playing differently against some of the stronger killers. At the higher ranks and against stronger teams, they all have the same strategy. Its not looping, or hiding. Its do gens as quickly as possible. Not vilifying survivors for doing this. Its your one objective. Its honestly how I get to rank 1 as survivor. In all honesty the peak of noticing this was48 comments 881 views last activity

Obviously if BHVR considered the nurse to get nerfed it's not just about public outcry in reddit and in the forums but due to in game statistics they have a hold of so I wonder; what is balanced? Is it the amount of survivors that escape during the match? The postgame bloodpoints that survivors get against the Nurse in relation to other killers? How long the game is? How long chases are? Since the Q&A event for patch 3.3.0 is next week, does that mean that the Halloween event that comes out with the patch will happen after that Q&A session concludes? Is that how patch releases usually happen— Q&A and then it’s shortly released? If so, I really don’t understand the point of having a halloween event when it’s past halloween..6 comments 261 views last activity

Only change this perk needs - larger numbers, thats all! Something like 15/16/18% and this perk is viable! EDIT: yeah, 10/11/12% will be better, 18% is too strong.33 comments 2,001 views last activity

News broke on the DBD official twitter (there is also a message at the top of the forum). 'Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Withering Blight event is postponed until the release of the mid-chapter 3.3.0. We're working on getting the update ready as soon as possible and will keep you posted.' So is the mid-chapter released tomorrow?165 comments 13,251 views last activity

Could it be possible to get the common addon "wool shirt" to make you into the old Freddy? You would be barebone, but i know that myself and many others would like to play our favorite killer again. The addon is completely uselless now anyway so lets change it to something that we want instead.6 comments 182 views last activity

I'm a avid PS4 player, and i was interested in buying the switch version, or PC if I finally buy a gaming pc, but I wouldn't want to completely buy all the dlc again and grind up all the survivors/killers. Is it possible or on tbe bucket list to be able to link accounts and transfer progress between platforms, like overwatch or fortnite does?7 comments 111 views last activity

What could happen to the event that you have been solving this problem for a whole week? Seriously, this is not even funny. I want to cry. I have been waiting for the archives for so long and now again. First a chapter with Demogorgon, now this. Why did you need a PTB? Tell me at least what is the problem? Maybe you didn’t manage to make animated videos or you forgot to add something? What ever h10 comments 271 views last activity

So we know we will be able to use the event to grind for two Hallowed Blight skins. My question is, does this include the skins from last year? I really want the Huntress one, but don’t want to buy it if I’ll be able to grind for it.7 comments 221 views last activity

I was looking forward to the patch and event as much as the next person. But a lot of people are just being rude saying they don't care an other nasty things. I understand the frustration but cut them some slack Im certain its not their intent to postpone the event and we are all human mistakes happen and things come up. Its not like they cancelled it altogether we will still get it we just have35 comments 1,171 views last activity

Yesterday I got dodged 3 times in a row (I asked why) and the killers answered it was because "I am a toxic Nea tryhard and they know it because of the skin I'm using" As a killer, I NEVER dodge lobbies, it's just not for me, I do like a challenge... EDIT: On XBOX, if you're in SWF or just see your team's names you can go to "recent players" to check who the killer was115 comments 3,472 views last activity

Do you guys have the same feeling or is it just me? The devs give less and less statements, they answer less and less critical questions on live streams (last stream they didn't even answer a single question/concern of the community). Dedicated servers are running for 2 weeks already, no informations given from bhvr what's up with that, how the results are etc So many feedback posts regarding30 comments 632 views last activity

I remember the devs saying they were looking into this. Kindred was also going to get changed. Can we get an update on this? I think this is a big issue that needs to be addressed because more and more survivors are starting to play swf only and I understand why. Solo survivor is getting very annoying.88 comments 1,841 views last activity

Basically you hook someone as Nurse and the survivor bugs out. He is visually on the hook but never dies, the bleeding timer stays at 100%. No interaction with this survivor possible. Also as Nurse you can't blink anymore after that. After closing the hatch waiting for EGC timer to run out nothing happens. The game doesn't end, it's endless. We both are stuck in that match and one of us has to dc5 comments 251 views last activity

What are some of the most grade a, top draw, all boxes ticked NOOBLICIOUS things you used to do when you started off in the fog? My sin? I used to think I would kill hooked survivors quicker by standing there and hacking away at them as they hang on the hook. Hey, they screamed when I hit them, so that's good...right...🤔73 comments 1,251 views last activity

Okay, sometimes you see thing that aren't there and have an easy explanation. But what I just witnessed is 100% not possible! A player was downed and I had to slug, due to one gen left and fear of DS. After around 20 seconds or so I came back to him and he got up right in front of me. I was running Nurses and nobody was there to pick him up. So he has Unbreakable. Nothing special so far. He got34 comments 1,831 views last activity

I played alot of Friday the 13th and I still do. But when the lawsuit hit the game it was hard to find lobbies so I wanted another game like that. Then, my friend told me about Dead By Daylight and there was no going back after that.101 comments 1,121 views last activity

Dear devs The dissappointment from at least 3/4 of the community is insane Unexpected issues are unpredictable and this is fine, but we can not wait another week, halloween period is now, not only the 29 30 and 31 There are 2 choices very smart to do so. 1) working hard and release the patch/event later this week 2) release a double bloodpoints event and meanwhile working on the update.60 comments 2,341 views last activity

I've made a cool list about legion's power. These are the downsides: Doesn't work to down survivors. To chase. To get information far away. Against spreaded survivors. Has a huge penalty. Is slow so some loops can be loopable when using feral frenzy. (Vault speed got increased to normal and power speed got increased, but not to the needed value). A stun takes you out.37 comments 752 views last activity

Me playing as killer with a ping of 25 ms in Europe region and a survivor playing with ping 70 ms in the same Region, both spamming the key to close the hatch / to enter it and survivor ALWAYS has the priority, not animation shows, the model just disappears in an instant and survivor escapes. On killer screen, hatch closes before survivor disappear. That cannot be it. They again made the "stand19 comments 461 views last activity

With Dying Light and Thanatophobia coming into their own, and with others that work off of survivors being injured or hooked, I would like to see other survivor perks that also take advantage of it beyond This Is Not Happening and Resilience. I'd like to see more risk/reward perks like that. More things that increase a survivor's ability to do things when they or others are injured.13 comments 841 views last activity

I'm sorry but 99% both doors is a BS tactic. I love getting <censored> on by people who run up, unhook someone (and take a hit), then their friend bodies me so I can't hit either of them, and they open the gate in 0.00005 seconds and get away. If you start to open an exit gate and leave, it should slowly regress. Maybe 0.5% every second (basically, 1% every 2 seconds) This would force pl42 comments 691 views last activity

Assuming people "learn to play her" enough. Spirit was considered bad on launch even after she got several buffs. Plague is considered bad because of how easy it is to ignore her powers, or so people say.50 comments 1,211 views last activity

Hey DBD forums! PS4 loser here looking for just a general introduction to the site. I am a fairly newer player (around the rank 12 area for killers/survivors, about 60 hrs.) and am just looking for a general guide to the site. Are newer player's opinions valued as much as older players? What's the forum etiquette? What should I definitely be aware of in advance when it comes to making sugges42 comments 2,131 views last activity
