@Venom368 It was a bet I made with a group of not so nice survivors. The point of the post is to show that both sides, Killer and Survivor, have busted stuff. Its all in an effort to get people to stop bitching about the other side so much. This is what happens when both sides bring their strongest stuff.

how far apart were the hooks?
@POTUS45 The hooks with all 4 of the offerings are 4 meters further apart. Didn't really make a difference, but it does add up over time.

Don't you see how anyone is upvoting you? I'm going to keep in silence from now because I want to keep this discussioon in a civil way. I would really like you to see your comments from other perspective, you posted a discussioon and you started it, we commented and you didn't like everyone's view. You can see that is more healthy you not continuing this, and make better discussions in the future.
@Angelicus23 Good to see you conceded your opinion on what was said before about them him telling me to be quiet. I'm fine with a difference of opinion. Just not censorship. They can tell me that it wasn't impressive, thats fine. I personally believe that if you look at the actual numbers behind their addons though its a lot more impressive then you think. Also idk if you read some of the other comments or purposefully ignored them, but there are people on my side. Only difference is they aren't being aggressive.
-
@ocafghanistan He was asking if a mod could close my discussion. Thats a different way of saying to shut up. Except its actual suppression. I didn't start this stupid ######### argument. Please don't defend the aggressor.
-
@Diam "Can a mod close this discussion? this is not a "discussion" this is just a salty day of a guy that was so hyped and needed to share, this can't end in a civil way if people comment and answer."
See I told him to shut up about getting my post taken down. I don't really take kindly to stuff like that. Its my post, my discussion, it is productive and its engaging people. If you can't see the two sides debating on this topic about what is considered too strong and how it is perceived by the community then I recommend that you ignore post like mine and similar ones. I guess him insulting me and disagreeing first doesn't count though and i'm not allowed to defend my opinion...
And so I will say it again shut your mouth, unless you have something that adds to the conversation.
-
@profaned alright the time has come. The stream will start at 1:30 pm pst
-
@aazimuth I mean honestly i'm just gonna stop explaining. Like did you read my post? They would stomp on any other killer and the one killer that can stop it is demonized by the community for having one op add on. I get it its bullshit, but so was their set up buddy. Maybe try to research before you make such absurd insults. Or try to open your tiny mind just a little bit...
-
@UlvenDagoth Thank You! Most people see the mori and think thats why I won. Granted moris are broken, but so was the stuff they brought.
-
@XayahXRakanFTW Monitor and Prayer Beads does have synergy lol
This was a custom game where we agreed that I would pay the winner, so dcing wasn't out of rage, more so for an extra chance at the cash and change of perks
I also didn't mori anyone so...
Also this build was fun for being able to beat these guys, prayer beads isn't a balanced add on and does deserve a nerf, which it is getting one.
@Mtom912 is right when he said this doesn't show my skill level, but the same could be said to them, right? I mean does using 3 tool boxes with bnp really show how good a survivor is? People really seem to be missing the point that this is like when 2 titans clash it out. Not a display of skill, rather raw power.
-
Survivors- *Bring their strongest possible perks, add-ons and offerings*
Killer-*Does the same*
Killer-* Wins*
Killer-* Shows how tough it was and how toxic they were*
Certain Forum Users- "NoT iMpReSsIvE bEcAuSe ItS SpIrIt"
Like I know its an op build, but look at that set up... on comms... on a good map...
Didn't even use the mori btw, the death sign next to their name would look different @DwightOP, but i guess since its the strongest build its unimpressive.
Just saying the only other killer who could win this is Nurse and thats a maybe.

Looking forward to tomorrow's stream
Hope you can keep your side of the deal up, there's no shame in losing
@profaned alright, but when i win as these op killers imma expect every single one of you guys to tell the devs to ban
Also gonna stream early since im gonna be kinda busy tomorrow
-
@profaned Alright your on
-
With the new statistics I actually have even more facts to back up my statement now LOL.
Freddy has the highest kill rate...
And this could be because...
and circle gets the square ;)
-
@profaned I would totally be down to stream it and prove to you all how easy and broken these killers are to play. Give me a time and date buddy
-
@Peanits Hey could you move my post back to general discussions? I think it got moved for some reason. I edited it to make it more of as question btw.

@Deltin Not a survivor main and just because something was just released doesn't mean it cant be changed.

I don't think @Sairek would consider themselves a challenger when the person they are "challenging" isn't even that challlenging. Just tedious and monotonous.
What do you want us to say? Agree with you? Even if we give you all the counters in the world you would still say Freddy and Ghostface are overpowered just because you don't find them fun.
And to add, no I'm not going to continue this conversation after this. Like Sairek, I'd rather end it before it even starts.
@DelsKibara Listen if you provide with hard evidence, clips, or screenshots providing evidence I would be more than willing to change my mind. Provide actual arguments other than saying I should try something else.
-
@Sairek Alright the challenger has been defeated, whos next?

Here are all the ways to wake up:
- Get a survivor to wake you up
- Fail a skill check (or be sharing an action with someone else and have them fail it)
- Find a clock, which adds an additional +30 seconds to your timer for a total of 90 seconds
- Be rescued from the hook
- Woken up with Adrenaline
That's all the options you have available to you to just be immune to his power. I've already mentioned all the other options available to you if waking up isn't an option; such as dropping pallets early (a general counter, but a counter nonetheless), just not stepping on his snares, and relocating to a different loop entirely. You only have to worry about any of this only if you're asleep. During the period of which you are awake, Freddy is an M1 killer with no power to you.
I don't know about you, but that seems like a lot of potential counterplay and that his power has a small downside, of which he cannot effect a survivor if they are not asleep. Nothing like "lack of counterplay" you've been saying.
There's also the fact that dream pallets are more or less a meme more than they are useful considering they can be countered by just having any sort of memory and map awareness.
As for Ghost Face -- if not being able to hear him at that distance is apparently too late (assuming there's no way to see him and there very often is), then please explain why you find Wraith okay then? Because Wraith gives even less reaction time than Ghost Face does; especially with add-ons, and yet you said he was okay because he gave an auditory warning (just like Ghost Face does by the way).
By the way, trying to insult me and appearing confrontational makes you look really desperate, as if you're grasping for straws to try and justify yourself and destroys your credibility very fast. I wouldn't suggest doing it.
- Each survivor that wakes up one another will then take twice as long the next time.
- Failing a skill check reveals your location
- Running across the map makes the killer more likely to find you and waste times that could be spent on gens
- Being rescued from a hook means your already hurt and close to death
- Adrenaline is good lmao, i'll give you that one
Also saying "just not stepping on his snares" is like saying just dont get stabbed as a survivor and you'll win. Also relocating to another pallet is just asking for him to swipe you.
As for Ghostface, the difference between him and Wraith is that Wraith has to hit his bell and alert you to his presence, unlike Ghostface, who doesn't do that at all. This is all not considering add ons btw, otherwise we'd be talking about completely different killers in that case.
Also insulting me first and then saying i'm desperate and lack credibility really only proves my point earlier about you being hypocritical. Your point of trying to prove your intelligence and make me look inferior and idiotic is kinda null if you started with the insults.

I never said you had to reply to everyone. I said you should try reading some of them. You're either doing one of two things -- not reading any of them and therefore are being willfully ignorant, or you are reading them, don't agree with them, and are being blissfully arrogant. I guess based on your response, it's the former.
If you honestly believe my counters could be summed up to as "git gud" and are "too general", then I guess this convo is over because I'm not going to have a conversation with someone who is clearly unwilling to actually read my post and wants to put words in my mouth that I very clearly did not say. I'm not going to repeat what I said a third time.
It honestly seems like that at this point, you have some personal agenda you want to fulfill and you want two killers you don't like facing against nerfed, not because they're overpowered or because they lack counterplay -- but simply because you don't like them.
Either way, you do you. I've said what I've said. If you don't want to take the advice I and many orther people have given you and want to keep making excuses, then that's a problem of your own choosing, but it certainly isn't going to be mine.

Look whos doing the same thing lmao. Listen honestly I've addressed all the points, but I'll say it again. By the time you hear Ghostface its too late. The sleep cycle happens to survivors every 60 seconds so it is not a consistent way to stay out of the dream state, not to mention he puts you back in it every time he hits you. It also takes longer if you have other survivors help you wake up. The clocks also always spawn the furthest ways from you. There want any other arguments? Try to step up your debate game lmao. Total hypocrite

I mean you seem to be disregarding my posts as well as other people's posts on what you can do to counter them and from what I've read a lot of people's advice in this regard has been quite legitimate, sooooo... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯?
Instead of engaging in dialogue, you've just kept preaching that they can't be countered and about how right you are, how you're stating 'facts', apparently. So Entity help you, I suppose.
Don't know why you even made the thread since you're clearly not open to any sort of discussion. A blog post or an Email to BHVR would have been better suited.
I suppose throwing down pallets too early is too general of a counter. How fortunate it is that I listed three other ones for you.

@Sairek Theres like 40 people and 1 of me I can't reply to everyone. I've given a multitude of reasons and ways these killers can't be countered. While your argument continuously appears to be in short "Git Gud". If you could provide an actual valid reason instead of generalized counters that apply to every killer, I could try to agree and or change my views. I've given guidelines that should apply to every killer and guidelines that shouldn't apply to every killer. I'm down to have a discussion, but yall are literally saying git gud lmao. <3

Waking up, remembering where pallets were, not running onto the dream snares/throwing down the pallet early and then moving onto the next loop.
Ghost Face doesn't have a warning? I guess that very obvious noise of what sounds like his clothes being blown through a tornado is just ASMR candy, then. Totally doesn't let you know that he's nearby. Nope.
@Sairek So just gonna ignore my comment about the og killers? The fact is that every killer should have counterplay and these two don't. Lets face the facts you can't counter a killer who can spam his power every second, you can't counter a killer who has no terror radius and no warning before he strikes.
Also throwing down pallets early is too general to say it counters these killers because it applies to every killer.

There isn't supposed to be a way to consistently and actively outplay their powers. This is an Asymmetrical game. The killer is the power role. You are not meant to 1v1 them.
Also to all those thinking this is satirical, it isn't. I have provided a facts based argument with not one of you providing any real evidence against it.You've provided your opinion. Your opinion is not fact. The only reason you say they should be nerfed is that "they don't have counterplay" (they have counterplay) and "you don't find them fun" which... well, sucks for you, I guess? I don't find Doctor fun to play against -- doesn't mean he should be nerfed simply because I don't like him.
Side Note- Also a consistent rank 1 killer.Me too as well as survivor. And I say they shouldn't be nerfed. So I guess it's my word against yours. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Sairek How does one counter an ability with no cooldown? Or a killer with no warning and terror radius? Notice the three original killers all have counterplay. You can disable Trappers traps, Wraith gives a warning before he can attack, and Hillbilly (Whilst Powerful) is extremely loud and can be countered by just being near a pallet or paying attention to his chainsaw. Freddy and Ghostface don't follow this guideline. They actively power creep these killers with no down side.

So Waking Up and looking at Ghost Face aren't things that disable or severely hinder their powers?
What.
Nurse had counters, by the way. She got nerfed not because she had no counters, but because she was an S tier killer.
@Sairek Being out of the jurisdiction of their powers in only temporary, there is no consistent way to actively outplay and counter their powers. Hence why they need a nerf.
Also to all those thinking this is satirical, it isn't. I have provided a facts based argument with not one of you providing any real evidence against it.
Side Note- Also a consistent rank 1 killer.

Sounds like u aren’t good facing decent killers.
So u cry nerf...understandable
so answer, want killers weps removed aswell?
@HeHeBoii Im actually a rank 1 survivor. While I have beat these killers in the past its very boring as survivor playing against these killers with no counter. Its why Spirit and Nurse got nerfed and why they will nerf these killers as well.
-
@Murcielago Gens can't be completed in 2 mins if a killer just applies pressure to the gens 4head.
-
@HeHeBoii This is for the sake of the game. It is unhealthy for killers like this to be uncounterable. Also will help the clear imbalance when it comes to Killers V. Survivors. These two are way to strong as of right now. tbh they need to nerf Spirit again before these though.

@THEghostface said:
This anti-heal build, which Tru3 is spreading about, is getting out of hand and is a poor impression for any new Ghost Face players. Sure, the build is handy for a versatile stealth killer like him, but thinking that his stalk mechanic is useless is laughable. You may as well play as dead rabbit Myers if you're using this build. As Ghost Face, marking survivors at the right given opportunity, applies more pressure than going about loudly with nurses calling and sloppy butcher, really boring gameplay that plenty of killers use, but Ghost Face is an exception because he can have no terror radius. Stalking can lead to map pressure if you use it correctly, unlike Tru3, who proceeds to call it bad while displaying poor usage of the ability, hence the build he calls "optimal". From what I've seen from Ghost Face mains, no one really tries when they stalk survivors, and that's pretty disappointing (PS4). Ghost Face carries the potential to add pressure by gaining fast downs and hooks, but the ever growing conditioning of playing a simple m1 killer with no terror radius instead brings people away from that potential. Play how you want, but I really don't want to see players using this great killer as if he's another killer, and not his own.
Typically I stalk at the beggining because survivors don't know who the killer is. After that they keep an eye out for you so what's the point? Also ya don't need nurses with him lol

@Blending said:
Way too strong.
Saying that Spine Chill or Iron Will is a counter is not valid. Why? You don't know if you're gonna be versing her.
Iron Will is a good perk overall, but Stridor exists. I'm not saying every Spirit player uses Stridor, but some do, and that's why Iron Will is not a counter 100%.
Spine Chill however is not very good in my opinion. Is it okay? Yeah, but there are 1000 other perks that are much better, so why bother using that one? Use it just incase the Killer is Spirit? That's stupid.
Let's talk about mindgames. Standing at a pallet and looking at the Survivor. Wow. That's some next level mindgames right there.
Spirit phasing at a pallet? Great, now you have 100 possible ways that you can guess where's she going. If you manage to guess right, you win, if you don't, goodbye. Another dumb stuff.
Prayer Beads are also worth mentioning. Look at other ultra-rares / very-rares on other Killers. Most of them are pretty strong, but they have a downside. Why is this one an exception?
to be fair if you have a keen sense of hearing you can tell where shes coming from by her footsteps. Also for the pallet mind games. Its better to think of her as just a husk and always assume that shes going to move, you can use a flashlight to blind her to check. Although I think they should add the phasing sound to the chases, it would still be the same thing, but involve her power a bit more and make it easier for survivors to put distance in between. It punishes bad reads by spirit and rewards survivors for making the right read.
-
Just an idea boys, but what if there were perks that were permanently part of a killers/survivors kits? Killers get Ruin and Survivors get DS. Leaves room for more creative builds.
-
@MandyTalk Isnt there a feature to literally click on someone's name and it takes you directly to their steam profile? Just taking that out would cut out about half of all harrasment and toxicity.
-
@TheBean I understand the need to scratch that toxicity itch youve been craving is almost unbearable, but just take a moment to self reflect. I'm just a dude who is just tryna have a productive discussion over an internet forum over a game we all enjoy and you feel the need to insult everyone that doesnt agree with you. While I understand you are free to say what you please (especially over the internet due to the anonymity), it really doesnt do much for me. So I hope your day gets better or you do a good job of surviving. I will not be replying to your comments any longer (I'll read them though) and I hope you can one day join me and get over this killer v survivor crap that holds you back and make this game the healthiest it can be, gameplay and community wise. <33 xoxo
-
@twistedmonkey Id say the Legion exploit was an almost perfect example of how to handle situations like this. They put up a notification that all players could see and gave a warning that if any of the add ons were used that they would be banned. Although what the devs should do is just disable and hotfix the issue. Plain and simple right? No need to ban and its fast.
-
And to anyone reading the thread PLEASE read my other comments before you comment about how I or the devs are biased. It will save us some time and brain cells. This thread is literally spiraling into "Devs aren't biased killers cry to much" and "Survivor mains don't know what an exploit is." Can we just productively talk about how to fix issues like this in the future? ######### hell
-
@indieeden7 That's the problem is that this shouldn't have happened in the first place. They should have just disabled and hotfixed it. Although there is proper evidence of people using it like Usslyis. Unfortunately a ban wouldn't be possible. Although they could take measures in the future to prevent this.
-
Also to anyone still reading this thread. This isn't about what exploit was worse or not. An exploit is an exploit and should be treated as such. We can all agree that no one side should have an advantage through the use of an unintetional bug. So please stop bickering about the killer v survivor bugs, we could stop any use of this if we just work together and stop bickering like fools. Not everything needs to end in an arguement.
-
So by a lot of peoples logic in the comments "Its a risk" by that logic you could purchase some of the cosmetic currency, maybe hold onto it for a little until you see a cosmetic you like. Then the devs hotfix your currency making it work only .1 of what it was formerly worth, while keeping the same prices for the cosmetics. You would be ######### livid. This same logic applies to Legion. Please think before you spout idiotic nonsense.
-
@brokedownpalace I don't think I've ever played a single multiplayer game where they changed something so drastically and didn't give you some sort of compensation. Its just a form of courtesy. Since it definitely isn't the same initial thing you purchased. Any consumer shouldn't be required to take a risk when purchasing said object is unknowingly prone to changes afterwards. Its a bad business practice and discourages consumers from using real cash as their purchase could be changed without them being able to stop it.
-
@Eveline Yeah it wasn't nice but it should be a wakeup call for the devs to fix their game.
-
@Eveline Yes it was. Now I know it only takes 25 games for ######### like me to get banned. No biggy

-
@ClogWench If you could show me the last time a ban wave hit I would gladly stfu. Also my point is that this has been a persiting issue that hasn't been fully addressed. It doesn't seem that difficult to implement a system that could prevent things like this from happening. Although it would appear that you just can't accept that I had a reason for doing this. It was a ######### thing to do yes, but it proved a point, but you don't seem to want to acknowledge my point now do you? If you just want to keep spitting out the same sentences, then please do it elsewhere. I would gladly agree with you if you could prove your points or disprove mine.
-
@ClogWench Well clearly they don't do them in waves. A great example of this would be me. Also my entire point in doing this is to try to get them to create a better system. I got away with 25 dc's before getting caught... 25! Imagine if they had a system like CS:GO or the like, this entire fiasco would have been avoided. People in this thread are focusing to much on how I got banned instead of Why I got banned. This should never have happened in the first place if the devs had an improved system (And if I hadn't opened my big mount).
-
@OrionsFury4789 Again not gonna self incriminate but what I will say is it wasn't an IP ban... Your right I am an idiot for telling the devs what I did. I just won't tell them anything. Also never said I was right in dcing, its wrong to do I know that. Although they have proven a point that I can't say as of right now. Its fine though I don't have to resort to insults in order to make my opinion seem correct, unlike you.
-
@twistedmonkey Thanks for the advice! Will do!
-
@ClogWench I don't dc at all, in fact I've only ever dc'd once before what I did today. As I stated earlier it was an experiment to see if the devs actually ban people. While the question was answered I would like to see what it would be like without external affairs AKA Me not opening my big, stupid mouth. I didn't enjoy dcing at all and felt bad. Although we'll see what other experiments will result in.
-
@Orion Don't worry I can't say what I'm gonna do, but it will all be clear soon. Plus i'm like 99% sure that I got banned cause I literally told them directly what I did. I wonder what an indirect approach would create? This will require more testing. Although I'm definitely not gonna do anything to get banned again.
-
@twistedmonkey the question is, was i banned only because I basically told them directly to their face or was it the actual game info that tracked me down. There is only one way to find out. They didn't IP ban me so... I'm just gonna sit here like a good boy and wait for my ban to be over... coughs definitely not gonna attempt to get around my ban.
-
@ClogWench You keep reading my post but don't respond directly, even when I ask you directly. Are you just gonna keep following my post or are you gonna actually try to come up with a valid arguement because so far you haven't.
-
LMAO I actually got banned, well boys I know what I did was morally grey but it did prove one thing... Apparently the devs only ban you if you tell them what you did directly. Also we figured out what they do with their time at work instead of ya know... actually fixing/balancing their game... Shoutout to the hundreds of other players who have dc'd more than me and haven't been banned. I will admit though it was kinda deserved and is pretty funny. But they kinda in a way proved my point by banning me. @not_Queen You should ban people for dcing more often and maybe the community wouldn't be as toxic LUL
