People commeting on profiles. Why?

Just want to know what the appeal to commenting on profiles or friending them on steam is? Also could this constitute as harassment and be bannable? I know the devs have a sort of out of sight out of mind mentality when it comes to harassment and their game, but the question still stands.

  • You can report such harassment on Steam itself. There isn't anything the DBD devs can do about people harassing you on Steam, so you have to go to Valve.

  • So they can wish bad things on you ofc. ):

  • Some people just can't take a loss and think that messaging some random person on the internet allows them to get their point accross more when all it does is make them look pathetic.

  • We have no control about what people write on others peoples profiles, if you do have any issue with anything that is written please take this up with Steam.

  • @MandyTalk Isnt there a feature to literally click on someone's name and it takes you directly to their steam profile? Just taking that out would cut out about half of all harrasment and toxicity.

The feature is there but to stop it youll have to set you profile on private or friends only. And im pretty sure someone with nothing better to do will just type the targets name in the community tab and harrass anyway.
