So whenever I’m not using my No Mither stealth build, or my “all the info I need” build, I’ve been running Dance With Me with Fixated (to know when I’m leaving scratch marks again) and WoO. Normally I would never run DWM without Q&Q and Lithe. But hotdamn, the amount of chases I’ve escaped this past using DWM without those other perks has been a real eye opener. DWM STILL manages to confuse2 comments 31 views last activity

Play how you will, but PLEASE remember you are not playing a SINGLE PLAYER GAME. Don’t harass someone at a gen to be healed when you are NOT in immediate danger, ESPECIALLY if Ruin is still up. Help finish the gen, THEN you can be healed. I get that mistakes are easily made, BUT even if you are not running Bond or SOME sort of info perk, and you are currently in a chase, if you can hear a gen8 comments 91 views last activity

I’m a heavy No Mither user. You can SEE when another teammate is running No Mither. If I have successfully managed to crawl to a hiding spot to self recover, PLEASE DO NOT get off your gen, on the OTHER SIDE of the map, while RUIN IS STILL UP to waste your time to help me up when I can do it myself, and you KNOW I can do it myself. Breakable corn. Yep. That’s right. Each stalk will now have collision, and will now be breakable by the killer.6 comments 71 views last activity

Although Trickster is a rancid fart, I’m having a total blast with his perks. I’ve been running on Clown Make Your Choice, No Way Out, Remember Me, and Starstruck, and it’s basically “easy mode”. So much fun. It’s nice for killer games to feel chill for a change.13 comments 161 views last activity

Serious question. Because I don’t get it. We’ve had back to back killers since Deathslinger where it feels like a middle finger to console players. Redeemer? May as well basic attack PoTD? May as well basic attack Lethal Rush? Except for traversal, may as well basic attack Victor’s Pounce? May as well basic attack Show Stopper? I was really apprehensive posting this. I usually give the devs benefit of doubt, and defend A LOT of decisions, looking at balance choices from BOTH sides. That, and I’ve been around long enough to know that it’s unwise to make brash judgments on a killer until a few months after their release. But I can’t fathom how Trickster came to be. This power is... actually a detriment to the player. I20 comments 421 views last activity

I’m a little boggled how (seemingly) few players (on these forums, streams I’ve watched, and Clown’s I’ve versed) know what to do with The Antidote, or just don’t bother using it at all. So “Clown Main” to the rescue to help with some pointers. DON’T WASTE BOTTLES USING ANTIDOTE FOR MAP TRAVERSAL!!! This is the first tip. An occasional antidote here or there for a speed boost moving from po37 comments 2,032 views last activity

I suggest the Exit Gate Opening times be reverted back to their original gate opening time. I also suggest that Remember Me be reverted back to its original iteration as well. BUT!!!! So this doesn’t unfairly handicap instances where the last survivor is facing EGC due to hatch closure, I suggest a new survivor status effect is implemented. Upon EGC being started due to the killer closing0 comments 21 views last activity

So from my understanding simply equipping the perk ensures the exit switches will always be blocked for a minimum of 10 seconds upon the 5th gen getting repaired, right? And (using T3 as an example) hooking 1 unique survivor makes it 18 seconds, 2nd unique survivor makes it 26 seconds, 3rd unique survivor makes it 34 seconds, and 4th survivor makes it 42 seconds? Have I understood this correctl2 comments 61 views last activity

Look, I’ll take aggro for a team mate that’s EARNED it. They’ve either been pulling their weight towards objectives and assists before being tunnelled, or they’ve managed to run the killer for so damn long most of the gens have gotten done. But i’m a petty man. I absolutely have no patience for those times I’m almost finished with repairing a gen only to have some dum dum bring the chase to it,9 comments 191 views last activity

The response time in regards to changing bottle types when tapping the reload button should be independent of all other cool downs that prohibit any other action. In set ups where it’s necessary to place both a Tonic at one location and an Antidote at another in very quick succession, it’s frustrating thinking I’ve switched bottle types only to find I’m throwing an additional bottle of the prev3 comments 31 views last activity

Victor will always have a great deal of trouble tracking you. If downed by Victor, crawl away straight away. Unless Charlotte is running Deerstalker, or immediately switches from Victor for the KI tracking, downing the No Mither user was a complete waste of time because Charlotte is never going to find them before they revive.33 comments 271 views last activity

I am seriously out-surviving all other survivors with this build. The only thing that ever screws me over is Whispers and if my aura is revealed. Oh.. and Oni (ugh) And i’m doing this while doing gens, saves, heals, and all of the useful survivor things a survivor should be doing. Killers just can’t find me, or they lose me really quick. It completely ruins Spirit. Anyway, I’m having a gran30 comments 411 views last activity

I just personally can’t stand, and have no patience for killers that cannot negate looping. And I just cannot stand playing as killers with a power that shines on some maps, yet is abysmal on other maps. I think this is why I’ve stuck with Clown & Doc for so long. Because they’re not map dependant killers, and they have methods I’ve managed to use effectively to deal with the most irritatin27 comments 411 views last activity

Everyone is saying that Trickster is weak and not scary. But I’ve been watching streams from the survivor perspective going against Trickster, and that barrage of knives flying everywhere looks pretty scary to me. Seems to be making the players streaming or uploading to YT panic as well. The knives seem to take survivors down insanely fast.6 comments 131 views last activity

I’m seeing the “similar to Deathslinger/Huntress” claims, but I actually see that he’s got more in common with Plague. takes time to build up. a large pool of ammunition. builds up to a more powerful ability. don’t need to be as concerned with accuracy because of the barrage you can simply unleash.4 comments 111 views last activity

One of my pet peeves solo is when another survivor leads a chase to the gen I’m working on, or to where I am, and the killer decides to chase me instead. At least now with self preservation when this occurs instead continuing to attempt hiding I can just GTFO of there the moment that perk activates.1 comments 31 views last activity

This isn’t a “bBq OP!!” post. I’d like to simply share some thoughts on the many things about BBQ that irritate me. Let’s not pretend that BBQ is only as popular as it is for the bonus BP. Sure, I stand by the notion that it’s healthy for killer perks to have incentives that encourage the killer to NOT camp a hook, but I really, REALLY wish it provided something OTHER than revealing survivor au36 comments 331 views last activity

Yo, Community. Those opposed to this representation in this game, geez, there are better, more pressing things to be obsessing on. Do you know how large a part of this player base is LGBTIQ+? I guarantee that every single time you log into play this game, you are regularly being matched with other players from the LQBTIQ+ community. In some cases, probably almost every single match. I see this way WAY too often. I’m just working on my first gen at the beginning of the match. The killer has clearly found other survivors grouped together because I see 2 portraits change to injured status in moderately quick succession. One goes down. What does the other injured idiot do? Upon performing the damage generator action, the next Survivor interacting with that Generator is faced with a tremendously difficult Skill Check Failing the Skill Check results in an additional 5% loss of progress. I sent through my first thorough support ticket to report 2 survivors hacking in the same match, with all required evidence. Not that it’s the first time I’ve seen Hackers/cheaters. Just that tonight was both the worst case of it (personally), and it was the last straw. I was Clown on Midwich, running Coulrophobia, Dying Light, Sloppy, and Thana. No OP add ons. ...and in a tight match 1 token genuinely helps a great deal against a killer using wall hack add ons, particularly Wraith, Pig, and Myers. It’s funny when I break LoS and I can hear these killers open every single locker in the vicinity, confirming my suspicions they were definitely using their aura reading add ons, and they’re wondering why they can’t see my aura.11 comments 111 views last activity

It was my understanding that if Charlotte leaves Victor idle, it is possible to avoid detection from killer instinct by crouching towards Victor. However, whenever I try to do this Charlotte/Victor ALWAYS know I’m there and they immediately switch back to Victor to attempt pouncing on me. This is the fifth time this has occurred (that’s how many Twins I’ve played against) How do they know I’m7 comments 151 views last activity

You know the drill. Last 2 survivors left, what does the killer do? Slug one over and over, while they hover over them as bait. I’ll do my best to try and get them back on their feet and away from the killer, but sometimes the killer is so damn stubborn for their 4K, it’s impossible to help that survivor without it being suicide. But every now and again what does that damn slug do sometimes? Cr29 comments 501 views last activity

I’d like to apologise for what I accidentally implied in my “Clown needs brains” posts. i wasn’t intending to insinuate that not getting Clown means that a player is dumb. What I more clearly, and precisely should have said was that Clown requires a particular way of thinking, and also very fast thinking. Again, I’m also not insinuating that players that can’t adapt to Clowns particular kit is23 comments 451 views last activity

Clown isn’t for everyone. And that’s ok. He was never weak before his update, and he most definitely isn’t anything remotely resembling weak now. Clown has always been deceptively simple looking, but beneath the surface has been rather complex (in comparison to the other killers) because the Tonics TRUE power has always been the ability for the killer/player to CONTROL where a survivor goe70 comments 1,261 views last activity

I’ve done a bug report, but I want to know if other killers are experiencing the same. I’m the kind of killer that’s very sensitive to the crow activity and cawing. It seems many don’t get it, and are asking for the activation period to be removed. Here’s why that’s a terrible idea. A) It’s so Clown can PLAN around its use in conjunction with tonic WITHOUT accidentally giving survivors far too much opportunity to use the Antidote themselves. Eg. Clown spots survivor leaving a gen he’s approaching. He throws the antidote in a far arc in the survivors dire35 comments 631 views last activity

Would it really have been so bad if Vigil instead made the user immune to Mangled rather than remove its ability to affect Mangled? (Now that there is no longer a timer for Mangled). Would it really be so bad to have one survivor perk, completely counter one killer status effect? Hardly game breaking.3 comments 31 views last activity

So... I’ve been leaving Zanshin Tactics on in my Clown matches predominantly to get used to the changes to the reworked maps. But something else clicked while using ZT and the information it provides. It has been able to immediately tell me which Breakable Walls should be immediately broken (because of any other vaults or pallets ZT reveals on the other side), OR it immediately tells me which1 comments 41 views last activity

It seems so simple from the outside looking in. An extra power that does the reverse of the Tonic: speed players up. I can sympathise why many think the Antidote seems lazy or unimaginative, but I’m here to tell you why it’s actually the most clever update they’ve ever done to a killer yet. The Antidote has significantly raised Clown’s skill cap WITHOUT taking anything away from how he could6 comments 151 views last activity

Could you please increase the speed & responsiveness at which Clown can switch between bottles. Already many times after reloading or cancelling a throw (because I’m about to throw the wrong bottle) I’ll tap the reload button to switch, then throw, only to find I hadn’t switched bottles at all. These new Fingerless Parade Gloves are perfectly fine if you’re just casually messing around with Clown, and you want an easier way to get accurate hits on survivors and objects because you’re the sort of player that wants to just spam them bottles. (Which is fine. Have fun your way.) But if you want to refine how to best use Clown, you need to learn how to accurately judge the throw arc to be a17 comments 711 views last activity

Serious question. Because as someone that plays killer a lot the new UI isn’t causing me any issues. Why? As a killer my eyes already were darting around the entire screen all the time anyway looking for movement, scratch marks, and crow activity, especially out of a chase. Like... to me this is something every killer should already be doing. So what’s also moving your eyes around to new H46 comments 881 views last activity
