Gideon looks gorgeous. But good grief is it confusing now. Zanshin is already an okay perk on Clown, but I think I’ll leave it on just so I can get used to the pallet, vault, and breakable wall placements in the updated realms.11 comments 261 views last activity

Turns out survivors really, REALLY dislike having an Invigorated Clown charging down on them while they’re intoxicated, judging by the immense amount of survivor DC’s after being downed I’ve had today. (Not a great barometer, but still this is what I’ve been personally experiencing in almost every match). Other than feeling a little strange tapping the same button to reload to switch bottles, it21 comments 571 views last activity

Stop being afraid of change! Fine. How about they revert ALL changes and updates! We’ll go back to just Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Dwight, Claudette, Jake, Meg, MacMillan, Coldwind, and Azarov. Happy?!117 comments 2,951 views last activity

It’s no secret that Sole Survivor isn’t popular (I personally like it). What mostly turns people off is it’s conditions. No, we don’t want teammates to die, but Aura Blocking is way more powerful than most players give credit for. This is why Distortion is so limited in tokens, and OTR only lasts 80 seconds. Sole Survivor needs to be restrictive because of how immensely powerful it’s max aura blo21 comments 321 views last activity

Particularly, what I want to know is what I should be doing with them at loops, particularly Victor. It feels like survivors are untouchable at some loops when controlling Victor, and I should just give up and let them crush Victor. Added note: because this is getting out of hand, and there is little advice on what I’m actually needing help with, How do you loop as Victor? There are many loops24 comments 241 views last activity

In one survivor match a Plague had NOED, but proceeded to use CP which doesn’t insta down exposed survivors. The criticism isn’t that she used CP, it’s “why use NOED on Plague?!” In another match I happened to be running Kindred, I noticed a Huntress trying to Insidious camp (i’d had otherwise not realised she had Insidious) ”Oh Luv, that doesn’t get rid of the lullaby you poor dear.” What o33 comments 461 views last activity

I’ve read so much begging from this community for the devs to be more transparent. They finally decided to test (emphasis on TEST) the good will of this community by revealing a WORK IN PROGRESS/INITIAL IDEA on what they MIGHT do with OoO. THIS! INITIAL! CONCEPT! MAY! YET! CHANGE! Some of us have been here long enough to have remembered some past backlash with the communities selective way25 comments 391 views last activity

Please, please, PLEASE, fellow survivors, if a bubba hooks ANYBODY in the basement, do NOT go for a save UNLESS you have actually SEEN him leave the basement, or 100% KNOW he’s already in another chase elsewhere or know where else he is on the map. Just presume every Bubba has Insidious unless it’s made abundantly clear he doesn’t Insidious camp.0 comments 31 views last activity

So... Once the Open Handed buff goes live it will be possible to use a Key plus Blood Amber, and Scratched Pearl to see the killer within a 60m range. Combine that with something like Alert, and a survivor can keep tabs on the killer from a pretty significant distance without the risks that come with OoO. Is this too ridiculous?13 comments 521 views last activity

I hadn’t played Plague for a while, including when I made the switch from PS4 to PS5. I hadn’t played her on PS5...till today. And WOW, an improved fps makes a TREMENDOUS difference to her ease of use. Bit of background; So some of you may know that Plague used to be one of my mains on PS4. In fact upon her release I almost abandoned Clown, Freddy, and Doc entirely, playing her almost exclus21 comments 501 views last activity

Let’s be real. This game is starting to get LOADED with a LOT of modifiers, and i can appreciate that it can sometimes get confusing for the newer players. But even as a long time player, it’s still a healthy habit to do 1 of 2 things every now and then. Click on “Character Info”, which not only lets you know details about the currently selected character, but let’s you scroll pages on other0 comments 31 views last activity

I think I’m better understanding DMS, and the limitations it has when used strictly on its own. Many killers focus on that it doesn’t help regress gens, and it prevents any ongoing active regression (Ruin for example). But what (seemingly) many killers don’t acknowledge is that it prevents other survivors from continuing repairs on a blocked gen while you are engaged in a chase with another.32 comments 591 views last activity

We all know that Hexes should have a powerful effect. Retribution just seems like it’s not strong enough to warrant being a Hex perk, especially considering so few survivors actually cleanse dull totems. Should Retribution apply Oblivious to ANY totem cleansed? It would make the Hex more powerful and dangerous if survivor auras were revealed AND the survivor that cleansed the Hex totem also suff12 comments 101 views last activity

For Clown & Doc I’ve gone back to using their 3 teachables in my builds, and interestingly my match results have been going better than by strictly specialising in one thing (my usual habit). So Clown i’ve running Bamboozle, Coulrophobia, PGTW, and Overwhelming Presence. For Doc I’ve been running M&A, Overcharge, Overwhelming Presence, Iron Maiden. Let’s be real. In a game where information is king, this still doesn’t make Zanshin Tactics a particularly great perk. That said though, for players that struggle to do well with Clown, Zanshin Tactics is an extraordinary training tool. There are many perks that synergise well with a killers power, but I cannot think of a single perk that helps a player better learn how to use a killers power5 comments 101 views last activity

On top of everything else I despise about Hag, why is this add on still in the game?! It just absolutely blows my mind to no end that so many survivors complain about the most tedious of killer issues, and yet so many absurdly unfun, unfair aspects of Hag keep flying under the radar. Why has Hag not been look at yet?! Why has she still not had an add on pass?! Why is her counterplay still ab11 comments 411 views last activity

I really hate this perk. I hate it a lot. I don’t care about DS. I don’t care about Unbreakable. But Head On needs to be deleted because of the absurd, disgusting ways SWF on comms can abuse the ######### hell out it. You truly can’t understand how abysmal it is to deal with a constant barrage of coordinated Head On stuns until you come across a team doing this to you yourself. Setting the scene. Disturbed Ward. All gens repaired. 3 survivors on hook, all around the exterior of the Ward, gates are 99, last survivor manages to unhook 2 survivors, third survivor dies because it was their death hook. Total clutch moment. I make my way over through the Disturbed Ward so I can try and hear which direction the survivors ran so I can determine which gate they’re going for21 comments 291 views last activity

As a solo survivor, IMO information is king. So my (almost unchanging) build since Descend Beyond has been Bond, Leader, Open Handed, Visionary. (BTW I can’t wait for the Open Handed buff). I was just in a match on Mother’s Dwelling where there was just this beautiful synergy between every single one of us. Move the exhaustion recovery to Wake Up. Wake Up. You recover from exhaustion 15/20/25% faster. Survivors within 8m of you also recover from exhaustion 10/15/20% faster, and this effect persists for 15 seconds upon leaving the area of effect. Upon the exit gates being powered, you see the aura of the gate switches and open gates 25% faster. You reveal your aura to any other remaining survivors7 comments 81 views last activity

I’ve been watching some streams, and I cannot wait to test some combos with Antidote and Tonics at some of the most horrid loops when this goes live on PS5. I’m also very intrigued with the add on pass. The only thing I’m really going to miss is being able to inflict more severe blurred vision. My only question is will The Antidote also remove for survivors Mangled from Sulphuric Acid Vial, an47 comments 611 views last activity

Seriously, I feel bad for you. Because I don’t get it. I’ve not let DS bother me for a long, long time. I’m a Clown main, that balks at meta perks, often sticking with builds centred around stacking Coulrophobia & Mangled. Exactly the kind of killer you would expect would struggle a great deal. But i hold my own at red ranks, usually getting 3k or 4k, with 4 man escapes being a rarity89 comments 1,211 views last activity

Unless I’ve completely misunderstood something in the dev update, a player may as well run any 2 Hexes now. Scenario 1. Player runs Ruin + Undying. The only meaningful effect they’re getting from this combo is from Ruin. From what I gather from the Undying changes, it will always ensure 1 hex transfer. Meaning survivors only have to cleanse 2 Hex totems at most (if no other Hexes are used). But34 comments 491 views last activity

I’m going to guess it can still interrupt actions, so if microseconds counted, and an interrupt was imperative yet too risky to switch to the Tonic, then still throw the Antidote. But I wonder if it’ll have any other effects, positive or negative?2 comments 61 views last activity

I’m also not surprised they didn’t change Coulrophobia or Bamboozle. I mean what can they really do with these perks? But back to add ons, will there be major changes I wonder? I’m going to guess they’re definitely changing the reload add ons. Cool down add ons will probably stay the same seeing as there are going to be plenty of scenarios Clown wants to quickly throw an antidote and tonic, one22 comments 231 views last activity

...whilst for seasoned Clown mains that already understand how to use tonics at every loop, cleverly placed antidote (used in conjunction with cleverly placed tonic) is going to now guarantee that pretty much any loop at all, in the entire game, is going to be IMPOSSIBLE for any survivor to avoid a hit. Yep. I need to know the delay before antidote activates, but I’m already formulating in my h17 comments 221 views last activity

If the killer has clearly given up and is waiting by a gate switch, PLEASE JUST HURRY UP AND FINISH REPAIRS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, AND GET THE HELL OUT!!! You’ve won ok!! You don’t get to complain about how “boring” it is if the killer does this if you’ve shown complete disregard for how frustrating each and every chase you have made for the killer, or “boring” the match is for the killer. Credit goes to @Altarf for suggesting best use of DMS on Twins: hook The Obsession, then send Victor out on a lap to every gen to get survivors off of them, ignoring survivors until you know every survivor has been found. It works incredibly quick. I then thought to chuck on Furtive Chase to get more mileage out of DMS. It’s just beautiful. It’s still a gamble in that you may be unfortunate18 comments 301 views last activity

If anyone is foolish enough to hide in a locker while Victor is being controlled, and he knows which locker they went into (so he can lock them inside temporarily), even if Charlotte cannot reach the locker in time before the survivor breaks out of the locker, she can usually get there in time to insta-down them shortly after they break free. It’s pretty funny. And The Twins are likely to get t7 comments 111 views last activity

...I’m having a much better time with them now that I’m using Victor as a sentry, rather than a primary chase tool. I really like stacking Soured Milk & Madeleine’s Glove. Survivors are revealed by KI well and truly before they even hear that Victor is nearby. I just can’t pounce on survivors during a chase (or rarely). Survivors dodge Victor way too easily (I’m on PS5 using a controller)8 comments 91 views last activity

What if instead of changing or adjusting spirits power directly, there was instead objects placed around the environment that give the survivor that activates it a limited period of time to see into the spirit world? I.e. that survivor will still see spirit as she phases until the timer runs out? So kind of like jigsaw boxes, clocks, and fountains placed around the map, if a survivor reaches on21 comments 171 views last activity

This perk is just dreadful to face as solo now. Getting gens finished with any semblance of coordination just gets thrown into the trash, set of fire, and burned to hell. Trying to get gens finished as a solo becomes frustrating.46 comments 531 views last activity

I’m sick of... Doc. Infectious Fright. Killers thinking they’re being clever running BBQ with Iron Maiden. Skill checks popping up exactly as I let go of a gen, or when a noise/hook notification obscures where the skill check should be. There’s been a lot of talk about what’s the point of ToTH anymore now that Undying is in the game. Well...with Undying having no power if there aren’t any dull totems, and ToTH increasing the time it takes to cleanse ANY totem, there’s actually incredibly good synergy running BOTH of these Hexes. And with the recent changes to Thana (if it’s included with the build) it’s possible to add an extr8 comments 161 views last activity

So what if Haemorrhage caused healing progress regression whilst not actively healing, such as interrupting a heal, or countering those sneaky survivors that like to heal to 99% to keep using their resilience or dead hard until they’re about to be hit. This still wouldn’t make Haemorrhage amazing, but it’s something better than how it is now. Additional note: credit goes to @ReverseVelocity54 comments 691 views last activity

I have a correlation in my killer matches whereby the more flashlights I see in the lobby, the easier the match will be because of how much easier it will be to initiate a snowball. In response to @Huge_Bush post “What makes you go Ugh”, thought I’d also get the community sharing moments that make them feel amazing.
