  • "I'm not having fun so give me more rewards and disable the new content." People are genuinely just complaining as soon as survivor gets anything. The last two anniversary events were killer sided plus if this one was killer sided it would increase the queue times for killer even more than they already are.

Unless the killer decides to you know… play the event like it's not the regular game? Seriously play a killer that causes broken like plague. Or maybe an instadown killer like bubba, or decides to poison stuff.

"Yeah this strategy is really strong unless they play certain killers." That could be said for literally anything. And even if the killer poisons stuff (which most don't in my experience) it doesn't effect much in the long run as it just slightly delays how long it would actually take you to do.

  • Dwight gets all of the outfits and new players main him so I can copy their outfit and swap places with them mid chase.

Ive started my p100 Ace grind and I SWEAR he gets quieter when the killer is around.

  • It works. I have tested this with my not so competent SWF, it is idiot proof.

  • I've played a bunch of survivor in the event and running fixated completely counters the poison. Like as long as you are good at looping or even know how to shift tech it will not affect your chases at all. However survivors or swfs can spam tables to full heal me mid chase. Its not that killers get nothing its that killer gets something that's easily countered while any relatively competent survivors literally get the hand of god if they know how to use tables properly. Which most don't but my point still stands.

I noticed that too. Super disappointing. I still want Vee's tambo perk. 😭

I literally just need conviction that's like one of the only perks I'm missing its so sad.

  • I like abusing the poison on Springtrap, Legion, ect. And killers like Jason, Artist and Springtrap can stop people using cakes mid chase.

  • The tutorials have been flawed for years unfortunately. They don't teach you anything about looping for either side.

  • @Royval said:

    Must be playing survivor

Nope I think the clown bottles are really good on certain killers I've been testing it out. Plus as long as you play to win most of the time you can win most of them pretty easily.

  • I think its best since its celebrating a decade so its good to go back to the og/most popular survivors.

  • The game is balanced for both sides, the only problem imo is swf.

  • My guess is the entity got mad at her for changing the realm too much last year so she had to take a timeout.

I was playing Ghoul today and in one match some guy got invincibility 3 times and i just stood at a table and just stared at it the rest of the match. Like bro

The invincibility + dramaturgy food items are pretty insane but other than that I don't find myself having much trouble as killer.

Literally, the power is really nice, plus killers can use the portals too when that's around.

Most people don't even know about the portals or being invisible in chase its super fun

  • spooky multiplayer game

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

You made an account just to complain about the event? lol

Don't killers always cry about how they want a secondary objective, and survs have one here for fun. More often it's gotten my teams when I play survivor killed and mostly been effective against gen regression/gen lock when we need to survive a bit longer.

I think people are always to quick to complain with new features

Its alot better than remote hooks and breaking imo. It added unique features such as a stamina bar instead which is really interesting.

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

I'm just puzzled at omg we introduced diminishing returns, now let's make Jason who can get like 20 percent haste as a ranged killer

Also BHVR: Lets remove Tricksters haste addon

    Like make sense

I don't mind diminishing returns, just during the recent patch we got ZERO perk changes its just so disappointing. I hope we get more perk changes when the new survivors perks get nerfed.

  • It is genuinely a skill issue gng Jason is just another A tier. Use the tables they're super op you can get invincibility, Dramaturgy, I think Invisibility too? I haven't tested what every effect does nor have I read the actual anniversary event guide thingy so I'm just testing as I go. You can also teleport across the map with those weird little black rifts. Filling up a table can heal everyone or allow every broken pallet to be turned into a party pallet. Its genuinely so good for survivor.

maybe its my MMR? But I legitimately, no exaggeration, have not won a single game against him. I've had Nurse games and Ghoul games inbetween (its all i get it feels like) and I win some of them, maybe about 30-40% of them. Jason? Not a single match. He just gets zero downside from zoning people, even less than Springtrap does, and his teleport is braindead easy to spam. Putting him lower than the bottom of S tier is seriously questionable. The state he's currently in, with the badge addon and how he can just see people doing totems in omnipresent evil, he's pretty OP

Might just be MMR I've started consistently playing survivor again after a while and haven't had that happen to me much.

  • Jason isn't really that hard to win against, he's just another A tier. All of the survivors perks are above average in how useful they are imo.

nah im not playing at all, its not worth it, the game has only been getting worse and worse. Trash event and just insulting to players for a celebratrion. It's just giving them bad PR and ill will for whatever petty and pathetic reason they keep making intentional, awful choices like this.

Closer and closer to just uninstalling and never supporting this company ever again.

I don't really think it's that big a deal I just wanted more cakes lmao. Either way I've gotten bored of killer as of late so I swapped to survivor and its pretty fun especially during the event. A nice change of scenery imo

  • If he has it he should use lethal pursuer / bbq to learn box logic

  • Yeah I suppose less cakes equals more people playing.

  • Kinda disappointing, I thought people were over exaggerating about the offerings being harder to find then I manually spent 3 prestiges and got 19 cakes. At least make them Rare or Uncommon if you don't want them to pop up 24/7 this is genuinely such a low amount compared to previous years.

The cakes are the only reason why people play during the event and now people have less of a reason to play.

  • My guess is that it'll reset every day after this round of the shrine

  • Conspiracy Theory: Its a ploy to hide the fact that ptb cross-examination went live and it's working. I cannot wait until I get 1.5k more Iri Shards to buy it, use it for a week before the actual nerf comes through then never use it again.

  • He can get 6 with the mask add-on giving him free bbq

  • Turrets legit make playing against Xeno unbelievably easy, you can legit just make them a m1 killer with a bad map traversal ability.

  • @TurnOffTheTVs said:

Power comes from the fact that infecting people is a mild nuisance at best as it's genuinely braindead easy to do which gives you access to a 4.8 m/s, third person, increased lunge mode.

If anything I think people hilariously underrate Krasue and I don't get why. I never really struggle while playing as her because head form is just busted.

I just don't understand people when they say she is "gutted" she is still in top 12-15 killers. It is genuinely so rare that you even see people body blocking her head form which is the only counter to it when played right.

  • I have fun every match so I don't feel the need to mark that, but for me and my swf personally we literally have each other go second/die on hook constantly to get the 3 man out

Chicken head is so cool but sucks its an iri rarity. Thank you for the ideas.

Are there any techs or additional advice to newer krasue players? Even with almost 8k hrs in this game, she's def one of the killers I can't wrap my head around (no pun intended).

Dw she is really weird to learn. you can kinda play her like a mix of Kaneki & Legion where you'll essentially try cutting off survivors with your mobility then go for the m1 and immediately catch up again. Enduring/endfury is pretty good on her too as it makes it so you no longer need to respect pallets as much. She is pretty 360 able so I typically just wait a few seconds and align my tentacles/head with their body before I try to hit.

Then again I am not a "pro krasue" I just do a lot of DBDL and this is what I see most when playing as/against her along with what I've heard from the four Krasue mains out there.

in what world is Trapper stronger then Pig

    like how.

i need a good reason as to how you think this

I don't think they have much time in the game..

  • Even if there was a limit of lets say 60s it wouldn't affect much as he gets it back in 13s

  • I just want them to make him unable you hit you over loops with the tentacle and actually take skill to hit it.

  • Just remove extra tp spots, haste, and totem mist.

That would just be tunneling slugging or camping so explain how to to make the power not harder to remember where to go constantly in real time without these things happening pigs power is a mix of pyramid heads and onyros and pyramid heads teleports them away and onyros needs to be nerfed tunneling needs to be addressed just like on skull merchant camping needs to be addressed and by giving the survivors buffs when the killer decides to play in an unfun way on that specific killer instead of deciding the power shouldn't exist because it's too hard to balance we have to find a middle ground potentially giving survivors if the killer comes within 5 meters elusive and a half sprint burst for free but what your not understanding is that we can do those things after we administer the first round of updates the head trap kill rate won't even really go up that much it will just be that good players will actually just hook not right in front of the box where they're about to get their head trap off on and she'll be in the realm of power of pyramid head and onyro it's not fair that she continues to be the worst killer in the game

Pig isn't even close to the worst killers in the game she is like significantly better than ghost face trapper or sm.

Also stop saying Sadako needs nerfs she isn't broken at all you just don't use her counterplay.

  • Its mediocre at best. Keep in mind you still need to run 2 perks with it unless you ALWAYS know where survivors are and since its a 13 second timee you can't really take any detours unlike secret project.

  • Reports don't really fix the cheating problem, just give us a better anticheat. Either way most of the time cheaters can get a new account in 5 minutes. It takes a while for them to get banned anyways so its not like reporting is super useful in the first place.

  • Chicken head really carries her especially when paired with Lorenzas remains so my current build is:

Chicken Head + Remains | Lethal Eruption Pop Nowhere to Hide | essentially allows you to snowball off of the very start of the game and play mushroom denial since you know where everyone is going w lethal. You get 2 people injured pretty much instantly and can continue to spam gen regression and find people with nowhere to hide allowing you to get shots over walls that they're hiding behind.

If you're new to Krasue and aren't really good with head form or want a non-DLC build I would recommend:

Same Add-ons or Defective Metronome + Luckless mouse/Shredded Gown | Dead Mans Switch, Pain Resonance, Grim Embrace, Dissolution/Bamboozle allows you to negate the downsides of her head form and allows a lot of time to be saved on generators so they don't instantly pop after first hook.

These builds allow Krasue to have more map pressure and actually be faster in chase by eliminating a lot of time wasted via nowhere to hide or dissolution/bamboozle. If you have trouble with body blocking I would recommend using Queens Scepter.

Idk if I'd say Elusive should only be on anti-tunnel perks. For example, I think it works pretty well on Extrasensory Perception. But I agree completely on Cross-Examination. Pretty ridiculous lack of foresight from the devs.

I could see it working for select cases like extrasensory and self preservation as those are pretty healthy atm.

  • Pyramid Head - snipes through walls with iri seal is fun

Hag - people think she sucks

Plague - watched a Magi video

    Unknown - demoman from tf2

    Wesker - hug tech

    Trapper - invisible traps

Realistically I've mained every killer for a solid 2-3 months or more depending on said killer but these are the ones that I just have loads more of time compared to the rest.

  • The timer on dissolution is to prevent the killer from instantly breaking the pallet when the survivor gets hit while vaulting allowing for free two taps w stbfl.

The shadowborn change is a nerf in most situations as you will only be blinded during these break animations.

Territorial Imperative changes you suggested encourage camping which is a bad.

Unbound was fine at 10% haste it just got nerfed due to synergy w killers like Wesker & Legion, however it can now be reverted since "special vaults" were added.

you are right in your assertion about the issue w/ hex totems in general, survivors can literally spawn on them and cleanse them within 10 secs of game starting - before you even have a chance to get to the totem. Most hexes are also useless yes, Hexes should take a MINIMUM of 70 secs to cleanse b/c of the amount of value they bring whilst being vulnerable.

As a killer main, this is the most killer sided take I've ever heard.

You want survivors do have to do what is nearly an entire generator worth of time that can be interrupted repeatedly granting them literally zero value whatsoever. Just because a perk is strong..? It should be high risk high reward, not zero risk high reward imo MAX time hexes should take is 30 maybe 40 seconds.

  • @I_CAME said:

I don't normally agree with content creators but I fully agree with Hens saying that full hex builds need to be nerfed. The argument being that Jason is not the real problem. He's just exposing an already existing issue with the game. I think hexes getting nerfed is the most likely outcome when you have a prolific player who is known to be in the content creator program openly saying this. Jason might get a slight nerf but I wouldn't expect much.

Hexes are supposed to be high risk high reward, and its only really a risk if you get a bad spawn on a killer without mobility.

  • I agree but, you can still leave and end the match during load screens, dunno if you get a penalty tho.

    Premonition

Its one if not the best information perk for survivor. It counters any undetectable or killer power that prevents detection as it currently even activates when Xeno is in its tunnels, Springtrap going through doors etc. It can't be countered and it always works. It will help you avoid killer quite easily as for example you are fixing a gen it activates just start moving away from the gen walking you usually have time to get quite decent distance and then just wait until the killer gets bored, somehow finds you or leaves. Works surprisingly well too trust me. You can synergy it with Fixated or Urban to move even faster.

Started using this with sprint burst and I no longer have to wait to see where the killer is to pre run with it, or be in the TR and be confused as to where the killer may be, or have to worry about stealth killers at all. I always thought premonition was bad until today its a surprisingly good perk and I recommend more try it.

  • @AGM said:

If I had to hazard a guess, it's because:

    1) the feedback/stats on Jason being overtuned is much more mixed than some people on the forum would like to believe

    2) almost every killer has some sort of learning curve attached to them and we're still well in the phase of people learning counterplay

    3) Elusive is by far the most impactful status effect that they've ever made, and the devs didn't think through the ramifications of slapping it on a perk that involves following the killer. (The pitch idea probably started with "What if the killer had scratch marks?")

Imo elusive should only work for anti-tunnel perks. Elusive as a whole is genuinely just so broken to get 4 perks for free when other perks give half as many effects as elusive, still gives you a way to track them, and has an activation requirement/downside. Cross-examination has none of the previous mentioned drawbacks it is simply get the strongest status effect in the game for playing the game..

Not sure if this is not a Pallet Spawn, but at the very least, he can go to Pallet Spawns which did not spawn a Pallet. And I dont know why this is the case, he already has so many spots where he can teleport to, they dont need to put up more.

And what @cogsturning said is also true, Dredge gets ######### over by RNG, if a map does not spawn lockers in certain locations. Jason gets many more teleport locations for no reason.

I have the firm belief that killers whose entire power is reliant on lockers should have more lockers spawn than other killers in order to make them more consistent across all maps.
