SWF is not that bad until you get to red ranks. I rarely run into a ninja depip squad before that. I don't even bother dodging. If I get a potential 4-man swf all with toolboxes and flashlights, I load up Franklins, honing stone, a bag for extra traps, pick a side of the field to set as my playground and enjoy the fun. Sometimes I get got, sometimes I dominate. 90% of SWFs are just friends playing together. When I play with my wife and sons, we absolutely are not a depip squad. We are usually laughing at each other due to stupid stuff so much that we are an easy 4k!!
You need to play more survivor and learn to think like one. Just like more survivors need to play killer and learn to think like one. Never put a trap where they think you will put it, always where they feel safe! Ahhh, the sound of that snap!
Seriously, SWF does not need to be nerfed. There are plenty of aspects of the game that can be balanced without discouraging playing with your friends.
Have fun, but remember it is just a game.

Yes, and yes. If you had done that with me, I would probably have stopped wiggling after the first attempt. If you dropped me and said no, I'd reluctantly give you a shot to see what you are about. Unfortunately, many killers have lost all trust. I watched a LF getting owned by my son and 3 other random survivors. He then starts acting like he wants to farm. I told my son not to trust him and sure enough, he quickly downs three of them and tries to chase my son down. He ended up face camping one of them. Keep in mind, these guys were all solo, no flashlights, only 1 med kit (my son), and had finished the last gen when this occurred.
I find it hard to convince survivors that I'm either farming, in the rare instance I'm willing to, or that I'm just playing around. I make it obvious. For instance, I run Chili matches where all I want is 4 stacks of chili and then I let them all go. If I down one a second time, I drop them off at either a hook, or a gen and leave. I still have survivors talk smack after a match when it was so obvious that I was being benevolent. Most of the time, they don't though. They are pretty cool. (It helps when you have a jiggly-dancing santa clown screwing around!)

If you're talking about someone with a cat or cats then you need to remember that person is streaming on their own time and also laughs at their own mistakes. also they're not worst then most streamers because they're not racist/homophobic, they don't tell people to kill themselves, etc.
Not confirming one way or the other as to who it is, but based on what you said, that would not be an excuse if it were. When you are known to work for a company and are even playing that company's game, you are being associated with that company. You are a face of that company. I have standards I'm held to due to where I work. If I start streaming and my face is in there, or I use my social media and those on it know where I work, I'm held to a standard of behavior. When someone is claiming they are on their own time, and they are mocking customers of the company they work for without sufficient reason to do so, that is a huge negative to that company.
BHVR has shown a ton of creativity in this game, but an absolute lack of discipline that has allowed huge holes in gameplay and a very toxic community. This game should have a couple hundred thousand people playing it at a time because of how enjoyable it could be. Unfortunately, it has lots of holes that create very toxic gameplay and a toxic community. The game's own employees often do nothing to help that. It is a shame, because this could be a much more rich community and game.
-
As a killer, I find his power pretty lame. Yes, it can be very effective. I can tunnel someone down easily, but that is no fun. That's about as much fun as face camping with LF. No thanks. As a survivor, I absolutely refuse to play a game with Legion. It is so mind-numbingly boring that I just run around until he catches me and then suicide on hook.
How to fix him? Total rework. Legion needs a whole new power. Deep Wounds is a bad idea. Frenzy, in the form it is in, is a bad idea. Perhaps his power should be his duplicity. When he Frenzies, you see multiple of him all around. It is hard to tell which is the actual Legion. Much like the Dr.'s illusions, you see 4 Legion chasing you. Which is the real one? Hard to loop when you can't tell where he really is. That way, you don't need a "deep wounds".
I don't know. I just wish BHVR developers had sat down and Brainstormed the pitfalls with this character before they ever got knee deep in working it up. Swing, and a serious whiff!
-
I agree, but have you seen the community managers play? They are worse than most streamers. I watched one, whom I won't name, play recently. They spent the whole time mocking survivors for using perks. I watched them get looped for 2 gens, then the survivor lands DS, and gets downed again - the whole while the community manager is mocking the survivor's skills. They seemed to have missed the fact they got looped for almost 2 minutes. Furthermore, they mocked survivors who used stealth. Made jokes about them, and talked about it being a sad way to play the game. Said they should "....grow some balls...". Keep in mind, the survivor was not doing anything wrong. They were just playing stealth and avoiding the killer. No teabagging, pallet-looping, flashlight stuns, etc.
If your community managers can't stream while being good examples, how can you expect so called fog whisperers? Very bad standard set there. That's why I play the game for fun, and put zero stock/weight in performance of myself or anyone else in the game. Too much toxicity ruins it all.

It is these styles of players that the Devs will have the hardest to get under control for intentional deranking.
They are like water and will take the path of least resistance to make sure they get easier and more fun games, while not considering other player's fun.
In a weird way it is the Dev's fault for helping facilitate it. These players jump onto that band wagon and point the finger at the Devs rather then thinking their own actions are selfish.
It will be interesting how this issue gets tackled by the Devs. However I don't think it will happen more till the Dedicated Servers come out.
Agreed, it will be very difficult. That said, many players who derank are not doing it for easier games. I know I don't want easier games. I just want to play in a more casual atmosphere with other players who are not sweating each match. As for skill level, if it is obvious that I severely outskill my oponents, I tend to take it back a notch. I don't get enjoyment out of dominating strangers in a pixelated arena online. Instead, I just have fun and ensure my oponents do too. I can get tons of bp and not kill anyone. As survivor, I've often allowed a killer to catch me so he can get at least one kill.
That is the enjoyment of being in a casual setting. I'm not forced to be a sweaty try-hard azzhat to get anywhere. I just relax and enjoy. Hard to do in the red/purple ranks.
-
Oh, my bad frog, campers get the DC. Legion gets the suicide. Not Leguon's fault he is so boring.Attackfrog said:Self sacrifice on the hook is always an option. In fact, I would prefer it since it allows me to camp super fast and then resume the chase before the other survivors can finish any gens! I am all for it.
Even with campers, if I'm in the mood to put up with a 10 year old salivating over the hook, I'll suffer through the m1 simulation and laugh at how 3 players got more BP than him, which should never happen. Camping is boring for everyone I involved. Why play a game to be bored? -
Bloodpoint rewards are not the issue for many who intentionally lose rank. For me it is the people you play amongst. I run into much more relaxed, fun, and halfway decent people in the green ranks. Many in that bracket just want to have fun, which is why there is so much angst about try-hards in 3v1 matches and camping at that level. It is a casual bracket
The higher up you go, the more toxic and downright nasty the community gets played at red ranks for one season and had no fun. Was constant deluge of piss and vinegar from survivors and killers alike. I don't want to play a game that is frustrating and venomous. I work in a high stress career field dealing with some of the worst crimi al scum you can imagine. When I get home and play DBD I want to laugh and have fun.
Heck, my depip matches are often the most fun. I load up LF or Santa Clown and just do silly crap. I get 2 chili stacks and then screw around. I usually end up in a silly fight of protecting my Thrill Of the Hunt totem. Post game chat is cordial and fun.
Absolutely no reward will change that. I found the part of the community that I enjoy playing with and I intend to stay there. The rest of the wanna-be top players can be azzhats in the red and purple ranks all they want. -
Honestly, I'm so bored of playing survivor, I dread when my wife asks. If we face a Legion or a serious camper, I'll suicide (Legion) or dc. I want to have fun. Having fun means getting to participate in a chase, a back and forth. If I die, so what. If I die fast, it happens. But playing an M1 simulator while some azzhat camps another player is not fun. Boring af. Legion is also boring af to play against. Would rather die quickly and get to the next match. Yes, there are times in which camping is
Before anyone goes off about toxic this and that, I don't loop much. I tend to try and lose los and move to stealth. To me, looping is delaying the enevitable. I'd rather try to outright lose the killer.
That is not to say that there are no times in which camping is truly the best strategy, and those don't bother me at all. Faced a really fun LF the other night. Got the doors open and 3 of us were still left with one on the hook. He SMARTLY camped that hook. We worked and worked to save that survivor, we got to him just as he died though. The other two got out. We had a very fun and congratulatory conversation afterwards. Great match, lots of fun!
-
Nerfing players for playing together will be a death knell if they ever do it. I play Trapper a lot. I play killer 80% of the time. I face SWFs all the time. 1 in 5 are toxic af. Another 2 in 5 are very hard to play against. 2 of 5 are easy to destroy. It is the game. Accept it and enjoy, or move along.
There are a thousand problems in this game that can be fixed. SWF is not one that can be.
-
I would like to see just one thing with SWF's. Put in a comm system and outlaw 3rd party systems. Every time the survivors talk on it, the killer gets an audible murmur if he is within a certain range. Sort of like Charlie Brown's teacher. As the killer closes in, he can hear the conversation better, and better. That will change the entire atmosphere of the game. If you are chasing a survivor and you hear someone telling him to go to the killer shack and they can help, then you know what to expect. Why not let the killer in on the action too?
-
Oddly, ran into it twice last night. Both were a Hillbilly. Had a player down before I reached the first gen (I started in the killer shack). I move to a locker, he hooks the player, I count down to 5, exit the locker, and another player drops. I leave the shack and make it to a nearby locker (had quick and quiet) and got into it before the next one got hooked. Came straight to me. I counted down to 4 before I heard his TR. Figured I'd wait him out, he is likely going to the killer shack. Nope. Came straight to me and opened the locker. Left me and hooked the fourth person. No chili.
Either seriously lucky, unbelieveably good, or something fishy happening. Had two matches that way.

how about making it so that the higher the rank the more xp and bloobpoints you gain? So at rank 1 you get double bloodpoints and double xp since games are harder for both sides. Give ppl a reason to stay at hight ranks rather than penalizing them for derankingI would disagree that they are "harder" at rank 1. The biggest difference I have found is that the people at higher ranks are much more serious, and more often than not they are way more toxic. I personally prefer to play at the green ranks because I play with more people with my mindset there. I play to have fun. I don't care about "winning". I want to get bps and have a good time. If I die as a survivor, I want to have had fun. Fun could be a thousand things, but getting a jump scare, a funny chase, making the killer stop and wonder ######### I'm doing because me and another survivor are goofing off, or just completing a few objectives. If I don't kill anyone as a killer, I want to have enjoyed the match - which usually means getting a few hooks, surprising/out maneuvering a survivor, etc. (If survivors are talking about how much fun it was at the end of the match, I'm happy...and I got bps.) These things are less common at rank 1. Players are spicy and want to win at all costs. They are angry when they lost, etc.
I have no interest in being forced to play serious when I'm more interested in playing casual. I tend to not take this game very serious, regardless of skill. If I see I'm seriously outclassing a group of survivors, I tend to take the foot off the pedal. If the killer has been completely run around by the survivors, I have often run up to a hook or allowed myself to get hooked at the end. Just because it is fun.
Rank should never control fun.

Having played a ton of trapper, I can't say I really have an issue with stepping in my own traps. I know where I placed them and they're highlighted for me. If I step in them, I really messed up because there are warning signs everywhere.I main Trapper, and I have to disagree with this being the reason to not allow the Trapper to move through his own traps. As it stands right now, I have watched survivors dead hard through my traps, or even wiggle around at full speed. I have seen a survivor vault through a window and not hit my trap, but when I try to follow, I hit it. In short, there are times the survivor can use the trap against the trapper. It is not bad enough that you have to find the trap, place the trap, then hope your placement was good, but now a survivor dead hards through it, leaving you with having to either stop and pick it up to keep following, or travel the long way and risk losing the survivor. Thus, your trap punished you, not the survivor.
Now I know some will say, "place the trap better", but that is not exactly the right answer. I've placed a perfect trap in the center of a pallet where the survivor has the choice of going around a lot of obstacles, or hitting the trap. They Dead Hard through it, and now I can't follow them. The Trapper is already a very limited killer, allowing him to step through his own trap will not make him OP. If anything, it allows him to bypass a ridiculous mechanic that lets the survivors limit him with his own power.
I've been saying for a while that the Trapper only needs to have two changes to make him a much more effective killer.
1. Let the Trapper start with 2 traps, and carry 2 traps from the start. This will not unbalance, but will allow the Trapper to immediately apply pressure in a small area of map without having to waste precious time seeking out Traps that are likely nowhere near a survivor/gen.
2. Allow him to step through his own trap. Even if it is a quick space bar hit that has to be timed. This allows him to set traps in areas that do not punish him, but corrals survivors. Think of The Game, near the basement. A Trapper has to be very careful in his trapping, or he locks himself out of the Basement. Why should his own power limit him?!I've watched survivors wave through traps with ease, but the Trapper can't due to hit box differences. Insane. Perhaps the Clown's cloud should intoxicate him, and the Hag accidently triggers her own traps. Maybe Legion...wait, he is already jacked up...

I prestiged a couple characters and then stopped. Absolute waste of time and bp. My wife P3'ed her Feng and I chose not to. I have better perks, better items, and lots more addons. Same goes for killers. I spent 4 million on both Trapper and Pig. I prestiged pig and skipped trapper. Trapper is much better shape with lots more addons and 75% of all the perks at T3. Pig is nowhere near it. The selection on the web is so minute, I can't tell the difference.

I don't really care if they see my perks or not. On the other hand, if we are trying to hide information, maybe we should consider hiding character selection in the lobby? I mean, I change my perks when I see what the survivors look like and what they are carrying. ie - P3 Claudettes with flashlights and I'm loading up Franklins and a Mori. Is it fair that I can plan, but they can't know who I am? I know when I play survivor (thanks to my wife!) I would love to know I'm playing doctor. I'd completely trash my stealth perks, those are useless.Unless you make items super common to find in a trial the only practical use Overwhelming Odds / Franklin's Demise have are equipping them when you see someone equip an item in the lobby. As a survivor you're equipping perks to complete your objectives not counter a specific killer / player. So no I don't believe it's necessary to know what the killer is at all.
Like imagine if I knew every time Hag was going to be picked and I could just pick Urban Evasion for example or Calm Spirit for Doctor. Wouldn't exactly be fun or challenging for either side imo.
That is precisely why I think nobody should know anything about each other until the match starts. You know you have 4 survivors/victims. They know they have 1 killer. The rest is a guessing game. Leaves more mystery to it. You run what perks you want in order to achieve your objective.
-

Negan bored me to death in TWD. Reason I quit watching was that story arc. No.
Get creative with these things. What about the Nun from Conjuring 2/The Nun. Or Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde? As Jekyl, he gets better abilities to track. As Hyde, he moves faster and breaks through pallets in one hit. He also can break 2 windows in a match, maybe turning them into doors by busting through.
Would be great for looping. Fun too.
-
Actually, bodyblocking is not bannable unless it is to hold the game hostage. So, bodyblocking to wait out a death, or hold off for BT is one thing, but holding the game hostage so players can do nothing for 8 minutes? That sounds bannable to me.

I actually don't think there is a decline in numbers of survivors - 37k peak players today which is an actual increase in recent numbers. And how many of those are trying to play killer? I know my ques are long. There is a problem, but overhauling the game is not how to fix it. Extra bp to survivors is.
-
You know what would fix a lot of what's wrong with survivor? More BP per match.
Seriously, there is no fixing this game at this point. The can is opened and worms are everywhere. So mitigate the problems.
Bloodwebs are a huge grind now. So just give survivors more BP. It will be less irritating if you got bp for everything your party did while you were on the hook for 10 seconds or more. Camping is not so much an issue then. Same with tunneling. Give extra bp for being the killer's true obsession. The desparity between killer and survivor bp is nuts. No, you don't get more on survivor due to longer wait times for killers. See below:
My killer lobby averaged 17 minutes: Ran 2.5 matches in an hour. Got almost 200k bp (Double bp+pudding)
Survivor, I ran 3 matches in the same time and got 110k. Got tunneled in the first match, and made approximately 45k in each additional match. Ran escape cake in each. There is no comparing the two. Fix survivor bp, and much of the issues will be overlooked. (Don't fix it by rewarding toxic play - Blinds, chase, etc. Just some ambient aspects, like going x amount of time without being seen, etc. )

Killers bring new builds for a fun match, you bring decisive and sprint burst
Killers let you have the hatch, you complain about them wanting 4kYou complain about moris mate? [BAD WORD] off
This is not the norm. You play the way you want. If I feel like screwing around, I do and more than not the survivors play along. If they don't, who cares? I ignore the chat and move on. As killer, I get to decide if I'm going to murder them all, or just have fun.
As a survivor, of which I only play with my wife because survivor is ungodly boring/unfun, you are at the mercy of the killer for a fun match. We don't run much of anything that can be considered toxic, BL, BT, SG, EV/Alert/Prem, and WGLF. We have never run DS, and my wife is too blind IRL to blind anyone with a flashlight. Yet, we get some seriously sweaty killers that love to face camp, tunnel, etc. Teabagging is not something we do, I'm too damn old to act that way. Does not matter.
In my experience, both killers and survivors can and will be toxic. I take each for what they are. If we dominate a killer who did not camp/tunnel. I'll often run up to a hook at the end of the game, just to be a sport. I don't expect others to do it though. I just try to play the game as a game.
-
I think this is something that is badly needed in the game. Might encourage more survivor play as well. Shorter killer lobbies. Would make choosing a survivor more than just an appearance. Love it.
-
Play to derank, run up to killer and beg for death. Killer talks smack about how good he is after the game about how good he is.
Play killer to goof off using padded traps and every bp perk I can . Let survivors go after hooking them all once - Survivors talk smack about baby killers.
Yep working as intended. Time to go play some Santa Clown! (He is lvl 1, but so fun to run! Letter openers for all the kiddies, and fingers for me!!)

Allow me to explain the situation here.
Meg is the last person alive. The hatch has spawned. Meg has Decisive Strike. Meg has crawled to a space away from any nearby hooks.
The killer (in this case the Spirit) does not have Enduring equipped, and therefore can not pick Meg up risk-free.
So what we have is a stalemate. The killer does not wish to be stunned and risk the survivor running to the hatch. The survivor decides to crawl to a location where they can't be hooked, so they can either force the d-strike or bleed out on the ground out of some misplaced sense of pride.
So both players sit there for over a minute waiting for the inevitable bleed out.
When people look back on games like Ocarina of Time, Half-Life, Starcraft etc and admire the timeless design, I am confident that Dead by Daylight will be held in the same regard as those games. Simply fantastic design here.
I can't side with my fellow killer in this one. Sorry, but so what? Calling the player's strategy of corning you a "misplaced sense of pride" is pretty entitled. Myself, I'd respect that. It was a smart move. You are trying to deny him his escape, so he is trying to deny you your sacrifice. In the end, you win because he dies, but I can respect it.
Next time, don't fear the DS. You just try to position him to the "dead side" away from the hatch. Give yourself room.

Rank resets are dumb and the crux of this issue.I hate rank resets because I drop down and end up smashing people that are new and just trying to learn and enjoy the game, maybe explore around and have a fighting chance at living.
And then me, a previously rank 1 killer, comes in and bulldozes 5 random newbies.

Didnt know that you could "bulldozes" 5 newbies in a game. POG
This is the fatal flaw in the game. Easy fix - If fall back more than one category (red, purple, green, etc) of rank, you suffer penalties to speed, or perhaps you only get one rank slot. Keeps highly skilled players from farming new players. Otherwise, it becomes a choke point that discourages new players, and the player pool begins to grow stale. Then the game dies.
Just sayin....

Who would hate double xp right?? Well I do. The main reason being that the lobby wait time for killer is so ridiculous it’s maddening. I have friends who purposely depipped to rank 15 just to get fast games for the event. I remained at rank 1 because I didn’t feel like depipping but man should I have done it.The devs should just remove the ranking system all together. This isn’t even a competitive game anyways due to balance issues and that’s fine. But it causes major issues for rank 1 killers like myself
Killers are where the BP is at. I wated 22 minutes for a match that took 8 minutes. 4K and got over 200k bp in that match (2 BPS', Chili, Pudding, ToH). Played 3 matches as survivor, each with 2 BPS in the next 30 minutes, got less than 120k. Do the math.
Want to fix these events? Fix survivor BP. Simple survivors should be earning more bp anyways. A match with a face camper gets you less than 10k if you got caught right off the bat, even on double bp weekend.
So ya. Want killer times to be fixed? Don't buff survivors, just buff their bp potential.
-
I am tired of getting daily rights for killers I can't stand running. I know she is the OP killer, but I do not enjoy running Nurse. It is boring for me. Same with Billy, Wraith, and Huntress. Yet, all of my daily rituals are for those four killers. Can't they see my account runs Trapper, Shape, Pig and Hag more?!
On the survivor side, it is always Jake Park (who I never run!) and Bill. I prefer Feng, Claud, and DK and run them all but exclusively. Though lately I've started running Kate a bit more...
EIther way, stop forcing us to run crap we don't want to run. I completely dread those matches and it makes me hate the characters even more.
-
Safe hooks
Healing a full stage of another player
Completing X% of a gen (Or equivelant of a full gen)
Destroy hex totem
Cleanse 2 dull grey totems
For every gen completed while hanging on a hook for more than 10 seconds. The perk should not just be for altruism, it should be across the board, like Chili is. Killers get rediculous amounts of bp compared to survivors. During prime hours, I wait maybe 5 minutes for a match. I cannot run 2 matches as a survivor in the time I can run one as a killer. Thus, the bp disparity is too much. WGLF should be something that offsets that.

Of I see multiple party streamers, I try to farm with them. Sometimes they don't get it though....hard to put up that signal as killer.I do the same. I think I'm too nice as a killer. If I see Cake or Streamers, I make sure to give them a chance to run around. Sometimes they are cool, sometimes they are a bunch of azzhats.
Anyways, fix the whole issue of losing offerings when the match never happens BHVR.
-
Best part, none of us were carrying anything. They really need to stop having the offerings be consumed until the match actually starts.
-
I've played killer 90% of my time in this game and have never, ever had a hatch stand-off. Why? Because it is not worth it. I either drop them before the hatch and hook them, or they got away. Does not bother me. The only time I work for that 4th one for sure is when I know that survivor has done nothing all game. I hate to see those leeches get the hatch, but I won't do a standoff.
-
Grim Pantry is much easier as killer now than it was. The map is much smaller and you can see nearly all of it from the boat house. There is almost always 4-6 gens in relative close proximity.
That said, it is hard to move around and some killers can't see at all due to the height of the weeds. Being color blind, that map is pure murder for tracking.
-
Why? It is already hard enough to play the stealth game for most survivors. You want to take away natural cover now as well? Seriously, I'm color blind and have a rediculously hard time tracking in the corn, but I would never want to remove it. That is why I randomly trap the corn with Trapper. I have to hunt like a T-Rex because I don't see the scratch marks. I look for movement. Corn is easy to see movement in if you pay attention.
I don't get the constant want to take away from the survivors by killers in this game. Yes, I know toxic SWFs can wreck a match, but most games are not that way. It is not hard to 3k a match. As much complaining as I hear on these boards, I'm won't be surprised when killers want half the survivors to start on hooks, while getting the bp for those hooked survivors. Bleh

So few chose to have fun. I can't tell you how many chose to load up mori, or camp/tunnel. A few did as mentioned above and rewarded with 4k's and just had a blast in after-game chat.
People have forgotten that the goal of the game is fun. There is a reason I read the names in my lobby. Sometimes, you find some fun people.
GG all, and try to remember why you play a game to begin with.

I actually wish they let killer/survivor chat before hand. That way I could inform them that two members of my SWF are legally blind and struggle with basic skill checks (Wife and son). They can relax and enjoy the 3-4k. Get tired of watching tunneling/camping killers act like their life depends on the next hook.
I only play survivor when they want to play. I get the SWF issue becuase I main Trapper, and you either own the game, or get rolled. Rarely anything in between. I just think pre-chat could lighten the mood and make it more fun.
I know, I know. The toxicity, so what? If the survivors are being toxic in pre-game chat and you don't want to deal with it, leave lobby.

After I popped the totem, Claudette Dstruck her. However there were still 4 gens left, and the match had only been going on for like 2 and a half minutes.
She chased me to a jungle gym near the beginning and I mindgamed her, then she chased Claudette off somewhere. I'm not sure what happened in that one minute, but I don't know how it could be so toxic that she felt the need to DC.
Back when I first started playing killer, when I was a survivor main. I had no idea how frustrating survivors could be. SWF with a sleeper rank 2 and rank 3 vs lvl 16 killer learning the ropes. Seconds in, BOOM Ruin gone, rank 2 looping and teabagging, rank 3 flashlight blinding, 2 gens done, nobody on hook....screw this. Not fun at all.
Match making is so messed up. Mid-level killers should not have to play vs high rank killers. Now, I know to ignore the guy who wants to be chased. Find the weakest link, lure the looper in to a trap.
Now, I just play to have fun. I don't care.

Trapper: Ruin, Enduring, BBQ/NC, NOED/Blood Warden
LF: (Chilli catch and release build) - BBQ, Bamboozeled, OC, Franklin's/NC (Just hooking each person once, then getting the match done asap for max bp)
Pig: MYC, Ruin, NC, SB

Devs are too afraid of toxicity, they are not gonna do it.Though you are right, it is laughable. They have left so many holes for toxicity in this game that an emote is the least of their worries.

Though I don't want finger guns emote, there is a need for more neutral emotes. Waving, thumbs up/ok sign, maybe clapping or double thumbs up. Something more to communicate in a fun way. Even fun, less taunting manner to communicate with the killer/survivor. The killer has absolutely no way of communicating in a fun way with survivors. He can shake his mouse around for yes/no, but it would be fun to give a survivor a golf clap. lol

Ignore Racoon. Anyone trying to have a civil conversation usually does.

Be prepared for the childish attacks. See Racoon's post as reference. lol This is not the place for constructive discussions. These forums are filled with people that want one side or the other, with a few acceptions. The mods really don't care, or they would have been silencing the childish responses a long time ago.
That said, I'm not sure your idea will work, but I like the idea of trying to come up with answers. I've thought about the stamina idea in the past, but it penalizes survivors being tunneled. I think there should be a rage meter on the killer. It begins to fill when the killer is blinded or stunned during a chase. As long as chase is not broken, or reingaged with the same survivor within 5 seconds, the meter keeps filling. Once it is filled, the killer is unable to stunned by pallets or blinded until chase breaks for more than 5 seconds. This will potentially shorten pallet looping, but it won't punish the survivor by making them slow.
As for camping, I disagree with those who say it is a "legit" strategy. It is a strategy, but not a legit one in 90% of the circumstances. Much like throwing rocks in a gun fight is not a legit strategy. Yes, camping when the gates are open is a good move, but camping that first hook is foolish. Most of the time, it is a sweaty try-hard killer. The best soloution is not to punish the killer though, it is to reward the survivor for things accomplished while the killer is in the vicinity. Gens completed, searches completed, totems destroyed, healing accomplished, etc. Extra bp tends to ease the frustration.
Why not punish? Becomes sometimes a toxic survivor deserves a good face camp. Not the best strategy, but sometimes it is worth it.

I'm not good at 180/360 jukes. I get one in now and then, but my only jukes as a survivor are breaking line of sight and dropping into cover. When it works, it is fun. It is very hard to make it work though.

Because it is a matter he cares about. He likes the game and is displeased with the changes. Why do you feel you should call him out? Opinions matter, especially in a business setting. He is the client, and he wants them to know he is not happy. No harm to you, why do you feel you have to jump on his chit @PoweasI'm asking a QUESTION not ATTACKING him. You overreact a lot to a simple question. This issue has been going around the forums it's nothing new.
Well, we will chalk that up to missunderstanding then. That said, your post did not seem anything less than attacking, so my apologies. Either way, the guy has a point, and a thread opened on it is better than us letting it slide by.

Well, it is very weak when compared to chili. It is only for altruism first of all. Would love to see it buff bp like chili does. Leave out the aura site, just X% to all points earned. Or, give it an aura site like chili does. Leave the bp award the same, but reveal the killer's aura for 4 seconds.

I don't think shards are the answer. That is a business issue there. If they award more shards, they have to raise prices in order to equal out the ratio of shards vs auric being spent. Basic rule of economics.
Perhaps devotion allows you to reset the blood web one time per 1-50 per devotion level in order to get different perks on it. Example: I am choosing between Dark Whispers and Enduring at lvl 43 and for whatever reason, I don't want either. I have 1 level of devotion, so I reset that choice and get two different perks on that lvl. I can't do it again on that character until I prestige him. I can do this once each character for each devotion level.
Or, give a 10% discount on certain choices in the blood web for each level of devotion. Maybe it is only for offerings, or addons, or perks.
Anything like that would have a feeling of reward.
