Legion isn't skill based, playing Legion is just waiting for your power to recharge so you can vault a pallet and hit the survivor. Playing against Legion is just based on luck whether or not you can escape or not. There is no counter play.
-
He definitely isn't weak but he isn't fun to play as or against. When you are being chased by a legion you don't have a chance to win the chase unless the Legion player is dumb and somehow loses you. When you are chasing someone as Legion, your skill barely matters, sure you could chase at 110 and not use your power and get absolutely crapped on or you could wait for your power to recharge and then just hit the survivor which requires no skill whatsoever. You can't be good with legion since there is only so much you can do with Legion's power and when you are being chased you know it's just based on luck whether or not you'll escape or not or how long you can waste Legion's time. Even with nurse you can break LOS and mindgame or juke her since she can't chase you without using her power, with Legion there are no counters.

I've played Legion and it takes 2 hits to down a survivor that has the deep wound status on if you are using Frank's mixtape. You get the 2 first hits for free since there is hardly any attack cooldown after the first frenzy hit and it leaves the survivor with half of their deep wound bar left, requiring only one more hit on them.
Alright, that's fair. Yeah, that'd make this idea too good. Hmm...I don't know, it's hard to get over how worthless it feels to make extra hits on a survivor while in Frenzy without the mixtape. I feel like first-hit-reset+3 hits would be fair and fun, but 1+2 is a little crazy, yeah.
...bleh. The devs have really boxed themselves into a corner with this one, haven't they? It would be so much nicer if that timer MEANT something as it went down, but unless it's so low as to allow for a forced mend->track->hit, it really isn't worth the distance you lose.
Alternate idea, now that I'm back in spitballing mode: What if Frenzy hits on a survivor who already has a Deep Wound didn't grant a speed boost to that survivor? (but still ended the power as it does now)
I don't think there is anything that can fix his power and make it fun for killers and survivors. Legion needs a full on rework at this point. I don't know who approved the release of Legion in it's current state. I'm starting to doubt if they really want to support this game for the next 5+ years...

That would be absolutely broken. You would get at least 2 extra hits in easily which would leave the survivor with 33% of the bar left. With the purple addon Frank's mixtape you would essentially always have a makeshift exposed on survivors. Definitely don't think this is a good change. With Frank's Mixtape AND Stab wound study, it would be 3 hits total in frenzy. If I recall correctly, it requires both add-ons to drop the threshold number of hits. And honestly, compared to add-ons of similar rarity, that doesn't sound all that insane to me.
There doesn't seem to be any references for the exact duration of frenzy/how many hits would be possible, but I could do some testing and report back.

Legion is very fun for survivors. Literally no skill required. Even the most basic of pallet loops can hold him at bay for a long time.Well depends on the legion. If a legion want's you dead you are going down. He will eventually get you just like all killers, the difference is that you have no say in it. It's all in Legion's hands. Even if the map you are playing has amazing loops he will just vault over windows and pallets and hit you until your deep wound bar depletes.
But he will need FOUR hits.
That will take a huge amount of time.Yes and that is why Legion is not fun to play as either. Legion always has a fixed amount of time in a chase if Legion chases survivors using his power. You are basically playing the game on autopilot while playing Legion.

Ur argument is illogical. Just because the killer can't react (drop the slug btw) and it's "exploiting" doesn't change the fact that skill is required to pull this of.
Dude I can hit flashlight saves like they’re going out of style right now, if it went back to the old way well GG killer mains I’ll see you in the fog
Doesn't matter, still illogical
There is nothing illogical about it. Why should the survivors skill matter more than the killers? Your argument doesn't take into account that the killer should have a way to counter it. If a survivor dies out in the open you aren't entitled to a flashlight save, only if the killer doesn't check his surroundings.
Also your "drop the slug" isn't a counter. It's not consistent since the survivor essentially needs to miss the save enough for you to get the R input. In most cases where you can drop the survivor in a FL save you can also just look up.not true. vsing a killer who presses r to avoid flashlight saves you need to rely on 2 things to pull off the flashlight save. 1 is you literally have to time the stun during the exact moment the stun window opens, if you don't do that then it's hope to christ your imperfect timed blind registers before the killers r key registers. it's a pretty near guaranteed way to avoid a flashlight save.
It still isn't consistent enough to be a counter. There is always a window where you can blind the killer. Even after the killer has looked up there is a chance they will drop the survivor.
Also I'd like to note that I don't use the R exploit since it isn't intended and is a really scummy way to counter a flashlight save. -

it's already a very powerful perk, it doesn't need more
It’s certainly not powerful enough to contend with D-strike or Sprint Burst. I know I would always choose one of the latter two when given the chance.
Maybe "not all perks are meant to be viable"?
Not every perk can be on the same op level of the most used meta perks.
Do we wanna start compare how many powerful perks each side has?
There is a reason that no killer perk has the same pickrate than Self Care.
@Wolf74
I’m... unsure if you’re being sarcastic. You started out by almost quoting what the developers said about Freddy and Wraith. I understood that the majority of the community did not agree with that philosophy. The rest of your post was confrontational in contrast, which made me doubt sarcasm. If this is your refutation of my post, I can say this to you: You focus on my analogy without naming the perks, thereby directing the conversation away from We’ll Make It. By saying “op...meta perks”, you express an animosity that makes me wonder if the perks mentioned prior did not exist, would you be so opposed to the idea?
If the existence of perks like DS caused your negative reaction to my suggestion, that makes an even better case for altering We’ll Make It. The logic behind this statement is based in the argument many survivors use in defense of DS. They claim that not enough other perks are viable enough to not use DS, so if DS is taken away, they would be left with very little to put between them, good killers, and potato teammates. In order for a majority of the player base to accept any changes to DS, things like We’ll Make It should have their activation criteria revisited. I proposed a change that would not only be relevant to the idea behind the creation of the perk, but would also be useful in more scenarios. The most painful thing in a match for a survivor with We’ll Make It is having a killer that slugs and prevents the boost to healing injured survivors.
There’s no need to go counting perks because that’s irrelevant. We’ll Make It should be the perk that we are talking about changing outside of analogies. When you take a perk you won't always get use out of it. People take unbreakable and won't get to use it, sometimes you die close to the hook and won't be able to use ds, sometimes there are no drops for you to use balanced landing. Some perks have these risks that you won't get value out of them and We'll make it is one of them. One reason why Sprint Burst is so good is because you can always guarantee for it to activate since it always goes off when you start running. Some perks just are made so that you can get easy value out of them that it isn't game changing like for example Resilience or Botany Knowledge. 100% healing speed for 90 seconds is a pretty good effect at least in my opinion so it also has to be more situational.

Btw, dont act like timing the FL requires no skill, it's not like everyone can pull it out
First of all, they didn't increase the time to pickup survivors. People just thought it was increased since Legion's pickup animation is similar to the old one. Second I can pull off a FL save 90% of the time when the opportunity arises. You can learn the timing in a few games. Also the spamming R as killer when picking up a survivor is not intended. I don't think you can get banned for it but if it gets abused it will probably get fixed.
U can't abuse spamming R, after multiple times the slug wiggles out
It isn't intended is my point. Also no one is going to pickup the survivor 4 times in a row when they know there is someone with a flashlight just around the corner.

Well I'd hope so. Flash Light saves should require skill, like it is now.
The problem isn't that it would lack skill. It's more that the killer has no chance of countering it. If there was one person with a flashlight, even if scared them off and turned your back, the pickup time was still long enough for the survivor to run around you and flashlight you. If a survivor went down in the open then you had no chance but to slug them.

That in addition that it will increase hackers and cheaters since there are no consequences since the game is free and you can just create another account.

If survivors can still jump in when they're downed then the exposed effect won't do much. It's the same as having a stand off with an injured survivor.I made a suggestion before where killers are able to close the hatch, but then the gates instantly get powered. The last survivor opens the gate at 100% speed and the killer has to pick which door to go to, if they pick wrong then the survivor is free to go since the gate should open pretty quick. Of course they'd need to reposition the gates to always be as far away from each other so the killer can't camp both doors.
I believe they already tried this (without the 100% opening speed). The problem the hatch creates it makes the end game last forever. They can't just make a band-aid fix like closing the hatch but rework the whole thing.

Usually decisive strike people get downed when the killer uses enduring since they almost never have a chance to even really recover after they stun the killer. When a killer doesn't use enduring it's usually then when decisive strike gets (possibly) a lot of value.

I wouldn't want map offerings to be purchasable but streamers don't sound that bad in theory since you need to play matches and do well to get any benefit and you are benefiting other players but it might throw the bloodpoint "economy" (if you'd call it that) off since there would be more very rare/ultra rare addons being used which could become a balance problem in the long run.

The hatch rework won't help killers in the long run. It won't make the endgame shorter by that much if by any even if closing the hatch completed the remaining generators (unless you have bitter murmur). Dying Light is already unfun for a player. They always get tunneled or moried right away. I guess the rework would make it more unfun since you have to just wait and be on the ground for most of the game. I'd feel like you'd be given a better chance to survive though since you aren't killed right away unlike current dying light.

I would like no mither to make bloodpoints gained in the trial affect all categories (so if you would normally do generators so you receive 10k bloodpoints and normally it would get maxed at 8000 it will not go into another category making it so that you don't lose the 2000 bloodpoints.)

If they just made a concede system that was basically the same as dc but it can only be used after a specific amount of generators have been done or a specific amount of survivors have died. This would stop people from holding a game hostage. (For killers it could be used if the last survivor is hiding even though the hatch is already open so the killer doesn't need to spend the next 30 minutes hunting them down or disconnect and lose all bp and xp. If the killer on the other hand is refusing to kill the last survivor or let them do gens, they could concede and lose items and addons but keep all bp and xp earned.) The reason you would need to do a certain amount of gens is to stop trolls from going into a match and straight up conceding.
