And to complete the picture, "Cucchiaio" means "spoon" in Italian.

They say "over time" though. I wonder if it means after some time, or simply that Chaser points gradually decrease in proportion to the time spent next to occupied hook. If it's the latter, that's a terrible idea - you start losing emblem percentage as soon as someone is up on the hook."Over time" means the latter, but it's possible they didn't explain it properly. Either way, it makes no sense as it's just rewarding Survivors for hook rushing.

Patch is not looking good. I didn't see those other changes. Survivors can't say the devs only buff killers after thisAnyone can say whatever they want, even if it's not true. Lying is a thing people do.

Why do you want to nerf a perk that incentivizes Killers not to camp?
-
You'd think the devs would've learned this lesson by now, but apparently not. Punishing Killers for being near the hook is not going to work; it just incentivizes Survivors to hook rush and keep them there.

You can thank toxic streamers for that.

Do you know those lights when you enter the basement? That's the Entity. She's not weak to light. The generators are just Her way of keeping the Survivors hopeful, make them believe that they can escape, so that She may feed on their hope. But why do all the killers that have been given gifts by the entity have a more major weakness to light then?
You have it wrong - Killers who can access the Spirit World are weak to light. The Hag's traps are old magic she learned before she became a Killer; they're not related to the Entity.

It's the same chance for each location, regardless of realm. Since the original realms have more locations, you'll see the original realms more often.

Why is there a thread for feedback about a perk thats been in the game for 2 or more years and hasn't changed and never will change.... it was implemented for survivors so that killers dont camp them.... are you going to run into that noob killer ofcourse but dont try and "fix" something that doesnt need fixingP.S I didnt read the OP so I'm not sure if this is about trying to nerf BBQ to hell 😁
The game has only been out for two years, and this perk was released last year. If you're not going to read the OP, at least check your facts.

Ok to explain it for you again. I dont talk about the time now. I talk about the time there it was happend. It give still a lot of Players out there, they are stuck i nthe Trouble that they listend on the Twitter Post and have now to be careful that they dont get banned for listen on it. Is it so hard to understand it? I know that the savegames are now saved on the DBD Servers and it doesnt work at all now. But to this time it have works and People have done it. It have give also a duscussion about it on the Steam Community board with the way how to share the savegame and the Twitter post that it is allowed.
Why are they worried about it if it was allowed when they did it? The rules don't apply retroactively. The rules changed after they did it, so it won't affect them unless they do it again.

There you typed it down with your own. "We will not ban you for trying" With other words. Try and if it works, we are fine with it.And again, you ignore the fact that things have changed since then.

Yes, you do. Let me try to simplify Dave's reply, so that from this point on, it becomes your choice to misunderstand what he said:
Q: Can you share your save files with your friends?
A: No. The save files won't work on different accounts. However, you can try, even though you will fail, and we will not ban you for trying. This was two years ago. Things have changed since then.

So no i dont missunderstood it.I am yet to see any proof that this was said, so up until this proof is given you are making this up. It has been stated more than this one time you claim that it is not allowed.
If you would read the Post´s you allready would read it. But for you, here are the proof again just click on the Twitter post

If you were to read the question, you'd see that the "Nope" is about getting the save file from another player. Furthermore, that was two years ago. Things have changed since then.

thats funny, so funny that youve been racking up the LOL votes on this thread, and not from me.Many people (primarily people who defend Killers and point out how unbalanced the game is) have been getting such reactions. My first comment on this thread, simply expressing agreement and telling the OP not to allow the thread to go off-topic by ignoring off-topic comments, received 7 LOLs almost immediately and now sits at 8. My guess is, there are trolls trying to silence people who ask for well-deserved Killer buffs, and those on the other side have begun to do the same.

I know i shouldn't question the logic behind some people, but that would be so stupid to do, even for them. There are always more chances to survive with more people than being solo and screwing up your teammates.Screw them over, there's a chance the Killer might let you go just for giving them easy kills. Some people are like that.
-
@Vietfox said:
Ok 30, lol
I wouldn't mind a hatch rework if this became true. The hatch needs a rework regardless, but there does need to be some way for the last Survivor to have a chance at escaping even if the rest of the team was crushed.
30 seems a bit short, but I suppose it would depend on how big the maps are. My idea is to provide enough time to repair a generator and have a few seconds to hide.
EDIT: And like @303Mack said, it might also incentivize sandbagging every other Survivor just for shits and giggles. This needs to be taken into account. -

Ahhh so that's how that add on works! Thanks guys. That's pretty cool tbh lol.Yeah, lately I've been fooling around with this addon. It's not the strongest addon by any means, but it I agree: it's cool indeed.
The only useful function of it I think is this: if you spawn right next to a hex totem, mark it. There's a good chance that killer's first order of business will be checking that area, so it's better not to cleanse it right away, but you can notify your fellow survivors that it's there. Alternatively, if killer's also using Thrill of the Hunt, you can signal that you started to cleanse it - hopefully they jump on the other Hex totem. Of course there's the same problem as with hook gymnastic signaling: you can't be sure your mates get it.Use the pre-game chat, that usually works.

You can read about it online for yourself. Around 8.5% of the world population is colorblind. Most video games already have colorblind assist settings because they understand how crippling it is for us.With that being said. The lack of understanding and vague response from the dbd team is laughable.
The issue is that not all of those people play the game. I share your sentiment - this is a simple UI change that shouldn't be put on the back burner since it's just as gamebreaking for the colorblind as any bug - but I doubt the devs will take action unless they can see, in actual terms, how big the demand is.
-
I had one totem (DH) spawn in a perfect location once. It was on the Swamp, in a corner of the map, hidden behind an L-shaped tree trunk.
It was the first time I got to see the Clown's Memento Mori animation as well, because it was the first time I got any use out of DH - or any other hex perk, for that matter, NOED not included. If Hex perks are to be useful, the totem locations need to be hidden. Maybe creating totem spawns with terrain obstructing view of the totem, and then dispersing them throughout the procedural could work. The locations would be recognizable, obviously, but it'd take a long time to actually find the right spot, because you'd need to check each and every one up close. Totems are simply too visible - they're literally bone white (and glowing, if they're the ones assigned to a Hex perk) whereas most maps have relatively dark textures.
-
@Vietfox said:
Seems right to me, could be even 20.
You can do a gen fast and try to get the doors, but at the same time you are giving away your location to the killer.Fair enough, but I think it should be something along the lines of a 100% bonus. That'd still only take up 40 seconds tops, which is about the time it'd take for the Killer to traverse the map looking for you.
-
@Vietfox said:
What about this:
Repair speed reduction while other survivors are alive.
Repair speed increased by 400% when you are the last one. That would make it so generators would take a maximum of 16 seconds, assuming you didn't miss any skill checks.

Dude, how can you even be complaining about this? You've stated in previous posts that you've deranked on purpose to have "fun" games. Yet you can't even compete at a lower level? Maybe it's time you take a break or practice more.
I just thought it was time to throw out my bait and go fishing.
Nah im fine at the lower levels, but I want the game to be balanced such that I can actually play it competitively

Well obviously, someone who hits rank one and deranks is bound to be "fine" at lower levels, just sad you can't compete at rank one so force lower levelled players to vs you.
Since devs support the idea of deranking even via DCing, I am fine to derank by giving survivor free wins in afk games.
I just dont like to compete in an unbalanced game, thats all. If I press ready, I want to have at least the possibility to do well. Can we go back to the thread pls
You won't keep the thread on topic if you keep addressing attempts to deviate from it.
I support your suggestion, OP. Face camping needs to go away entirely.

I've heard of people having trouble activating Deliverance even without luck offerings, but you can always try it in KYF to find out.
-
Deliverance is bugged, I wouldn't recommend it.
-
The issue is that a precise Nurse blink is more devastating than a precise shock therapy. It does, after all, result in the loss of a health state. The add-on is fine as it is.

@Orion Yeah the corn is horrible. Very hard to see through it as killer. But I was asking what build @White_Owl was running because I'm a Wraith main and was curious lol. I had 2 of my builds ruined by those walls they mentioned. One used Bone Clapper and Ghost while the other was a build using the Beast add on and Coxcombed Clapper to confuse people. For Wraith, I adopt a more proactive playstyle. I can't remember the name of the add-ons I use, but they're the ones that allow for a faster cloak and uncloak. I uncloak, hit, cloak, chase, uncloak, hit. Quick and painful.

I don't like the idea of changing the number of generators required to have the hatch open by itself, nor the idea that both exits must be worked on to have it open (how would that even work if it opens at 4 generators repaired?). Both those things would make it so the hatch will only open when the Survivors have practically won already - at that point, they might as well open the exits and escape normally.
Furthermore, with the exception of the RBT, the other three states are very easy to cause to a Survivor, since they don't require having to even injure them.
I like the idea that the Killer can no longer grab the Survivor trying to jump in, if the rest of the changes (besides the aforementioned ones) go through - it should make it so Survivors will just jump in without the need for a standoff.
-
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, I'm just saying that it doesn't help much either. If you want a company to know that a feature is requested by a significant portion of its customers and potential customers, you don't create an echo chamber; you get data that shows them this is a highly requested feature.

Having the same 5 people bump a thread isn't going to help. Try getting actual data on how many colorblind people play the game; stuff that'll show them this isn't being requested by just 0.000001% of the players.
Jesus Christ here we go. Yes people are bumping the thread but many individual users have commented on the thread. Please take your "helpful suggestions" somewhere else.
I'm not surprised you're rejecting something that might actually help - you're only interested in doing enough to make sure you feel good about yourself, even if it doesn't help anyone.

Team points while being hooked. That's a tough one. Maybe points when a gen is completed where that survivor repaired 25%.
To be clear, I don't mean "hanging around on the hook", I mean if you feel like you've had a great game and deserve you're share of the winnings you could not disconnect immediately upon being sacrificed and continue to earn some points. The idea being, you're sacrifice and contributions prior to being sacrificed contributed to the greater good and should thusly be rewarded.
Although, continuing to earn team points while being hooked would keep people from sacrificing themselves when they don't feel like their teammates are coming, and wouldn't make the game feel like such a ######### loss if they're hooked in a bad spot right away.
I have no idea how to balance that from sandbaggers or leaches.
By changing the struggle phase to require skill checks instead of spamming space.
If you hit a great skill check, you get some additional seconds on the hook. If you fail it, you instantly die.And if they get multiple skill checks in a row, given that good Survivors playing on non-potato PCs can hit great skill checks on a fairly consistent basis, they'll just be unkillable.
-
@dadderholt said:
I think they need to add a punishment for killers that dodge not anymore balances. Different game modes would be nice.Killers dodge because of the game being unbalanced. If you try to punish dodging, they'll just stop playing.
-
Keeping offerings and add-ons might be a good idea. Although nobody wants to be bullied by SWF, if you don't lose any offerings or add-ons when it happens, it might make Killers less inclined to dodge - there are no stakes.

Calm Spirit isn’t underwhelming because of its functionality, but because it just never gets to use the contents of the perk. If you go against the Doctor, yes. But what are the chances of that? There are 12 other killers to use, meaning you have a 7.7% chance to make use of it since you can’t see who they are playing. On top of that, Spies is never used anymore, not because Calm Spirit exists, but because it just sucks. Until Spies gets changed or reworked, I’m not sure why a perk that counters a useless perk is worth mentioning. Whispers has no perk counter and doesn’t have a 25% chance not to work. Just use that. It’s hard to play back and forth with the whole direct counters thing, since there’s plenty of “x counters y” or “there is no direct counter to x” for both killers and survivors.
The contents of the perk aren't limited to the Doctor.
It's not hard to play back and forth. Killers are meant to be the power role, so their perks should be more powerful. However, it only takes one Survivor perk to counter one Killer perk, whereas it should take four Survivor perks to counter one Killer perk. This is, after all, a 4v1 asymmetrical game.
Nerf Survivor perks, make them work in combination when multiple Survivors have the same perks equipped, and buff Killer perks. That's all.
I see the "LOL" trolls have come out in full force, so I'm going to assume they know I'm right.
-
Usually I can just see the Killer, so hook gymnastics don't really matter. When I can't, though, I do listen to them.
-
As Killer: >2 kills is a win, 2 is a tie, <2 is a loss.
As Survivor: Surviving. -
Most non-stale-meta perks are underrated, this is nothing new.
