yes you can get blinded from the side.
Flashlights got nerfed and now got buffed again.

YOu have to make sure that there is noone close if you wanna pick up someone, also dont be afraid to slugg against flashlight warriors

Ok this concept is absolutely stupid why on earth are killers now complaining about survivors camping gens? This wasn't even a thing 4-5 months ago why's it making you killer mains so butthurt even though It's quite irrelevant? If they're camping a gen then go find them in the area. What's next? 'Why can survivors crouch?' Bloody hell I can't believe the amount of killers getting so butthurt over something so irrelevant. You are literally complaining about survivors wanting to finish something that they started. If they try to complete it when it's past 60% then that's fair enough. I'm not going to get a gen to 60% and be expected to leave it because a killer kicks it #########. Go complain about something that's relevant and sensible. I'm sure that there's nothing to nerf if this has become such a big issue. I'm surprised people are so upset about people wanting to finish something they got to 60%

Survivors started this weird thing calling out killers for doing their objective efficiently (tunneling); now killers call out survivors for doing the same gens. I mean, same rights for both sides I guess?

  • Thats why the devs gave us the option to leave

  • Do you post this every few hours now?

  • Servers arent that expensive anymore.
The problem is redoing the whole code which has been designed for p2p

2vs8 is impossible with the current coding of the game, they would have to redo everything netcode-related and I highly doubt that this will ever happen

My PS4 settings messages are set to friends only, and someone who was on my team ended up messaging me calling me names and stuff.

God this community is so toxic lmao

I would absoluty not mind if getting exhausted by addons would work different and you can get unexhausted while you're sprinting. That would be much more fair I guess

That should tell you how dependent on your exhaution perks you have become. calling exhaustion addons a crutch though... xD

Don't you ever get tired of lying, the devs have already stated on numerous streams they want to address gen rushing and give the survivors an additional objective. But then you'd have to admit that the issue isn't gen rushing but your bad gameplay skills.

I mean they nerfed BNPS several patches ago which omg addressed gen rushing, they tested out an additional objective during the Harvest event. But hey don't let facts get in the way of your trolling.

Yeah they want to adress genrushing, they want to change hatch mechanic, they want to rework DS, they want to rework SC

At this point they have lost my trust, I onyl believe what I can see ingame and fact is that the generators havent been touched at all

Moris reduce Survivor's lives from 2 to 1 and there's no counterplay to them. They give Killers an advantage that Survivors have no answer to, and Moris aren't even tied to a perk or add-on; they're just offerings burnt so Killers don't sacrifice anything using one.

It directly aids in completing the Killer's main objective of the game. Should offerings really allow a powerful advantage like that? Imagine the complaints Killers would have if there were a Survivor offering that instantly set a generator's progress to 25% per offering burnt. There's nothing like that for Survivors, and there shouldn't be, just as there shouldn't be Moris that are tied to offerings.

And don't tell me that a little extra fog or a couple missing hooks are as impactful as being able to outright remove a player from the game. For Survivors, The Shroud of Binding is perhaps the closest thing to the unfair advantage Moris provide the Killer, and I'd gladly delete that from the game if it meant Moris weren't offerings anymore.

You can keep the Moris in the game, but they should be implemented in a different way.

Insta heals increase survor lives by one or even by two in the ultra rare case. How is this balanced?

    DS:
    Buff:no more obsession perk.
Nerf:"chasingtime" perk, Standing within the Killer's terror radius while in a Chase for 150/120/90 seconds activates the Perk.

In this way it becomes a perk that requires more skills and give a reward only for the player who managed the chase for a long time.

P.s. sorry for my Basic English (it's not my native language) i can easily reading and hearing eng, but i have some problem with writing.

So you want a DS buff for competent and a nerf for bad ones?
Do you ever think about the suggestion you make?

Any DC/ragequit is the same, no matter when or why it happened.

The one time you are being hold hostage in a year wont get you banned if you DC, no worries

I remember when we'd have lan parties in High School, 5 or 6 of us each with our desktops on various tables in the room, playing star craft and other such things. I'm only 25 but boy do times change fast. Now you'll see people snap chatting one another as they sit side by side, WHAT HAS TECHNOLOGY MADE US BECOME?!

True, I still remember the warcraft lanparties^^
Then we switched to online games and the potato internet of the lan party host wasnt able to deal with it. Now you can have 10 guys using the same connection with perfect ping

So we all know that "We're Gonna Live Forever" is the survivor version of BBQNC. But the difference is that BBQNC is REALLY GOOD because it not only gives the blood point bonus but it also gives a great aura revealing ability. WGLF gives you literally NOTHING but the extra blood points.

My suggestion. Add this ability to WGLF. When unhooking a player they leave no scratch marks for 4 seconds at tier 3 level. This way the perk is actually somewhat useful to a survivor. Right now a survivor literally has to give up a perk just to get extra blood points and it only encourages farming teammates. This would at lease help the farmed teammates survive off the hook when they are being tunneled.

Go back to 200% too? Any other wishes?

  • Meanwhile survivors are caged below the map and can tbagg or click at each other

No weapon contact, no blood, hit comes after the pallet hits killer's head. Either fix the animation so it's clear how you got hit or change pallets to cancel killers animation when they make a contact with pallet. .

Thats latency, most likely it will never be fixed.
You already realize during the game if there is some lagg, just throw the pallet a bit earlier

This perk is so stupid. I had I game were a doctor was running this perk (tier 1 oc) and got an easy 2 kills because of it. I did most of the gens, when for saves, stayed stealthy, even cleansed some totems too. But nope he hits me once the whole game and I die. He wouldn't have even found me if he didn't have bitter murmured too, I was in madness 1 the whole game also. He ended up camping me and nodded his head, as well as hitting on hook, like why? Someone tried to save me and they got killed bcause of NOED too. The Devs really need to rework this perk, it allows bad killers to get kills.

We can trade it with DS, kill them both

The irony that killers say that looping is a unskillful thing to do, but yet they say tunnelling and camping is a strat.

Oh no the survivor is trying its best to not get hit and survivor (killer proceeds to keep chasing this survivor instead of breaking off to check gens and go for others) 3 gens pop on and now killer finally catches the survivor and then proceeds to camp them because of a stupid excuse of 3 gens going off when they could've avoided it by leaving that survivor.

But I do understand when a killer has no choice but to camp at the end when gates are open but some games you'll get those killers who are purposely coming in with intentions to camp ppl and when survivors realize they'll gen rush and leave and then killer will complain about gens going to fast.

    You know what.... I'm done.

Camping is unskilled too, nobody claims different.

Tunneling is just how you choose your target, it has nothing to do with skill or unskill.

So you say its the killers fault that the game is designed the way that a survivor can loop for several gens? Yeah how could he dare chasing that survivor, he better uninstall

If you dont understand that this is exactly the core of the problem, then im done too

I'm really saying that killers should be smart enough to understand the mechanics of the game and either try to end the chases quicker or just search for another target. Some killers should just break the pallets and stop wasting time trying to do ridiculous mindgames.

How do you end the chase quicker? I mean there is nothign you can do besides running in circles after the survivor, what is the killer supposed to do? Teleport through the wall? This is exactly the reason why nurse is so strong, she can bypass loops if the player is skilled enough.

Yeah yeah just break the pallet, I know. Just a pitty that there is enough stuff on the map to loop you until eternity and remember, 1 gen only takes 80 seconds and you need to hti the survivro twice (if no crutches)

  • @Aerys said:

I would assume that when a Gen is done or Pallet is dropped the aura would disappear just like it does for other effects/the Killer and their Gen auras. I doubt it'd confuse people too much either, it'd be like Windows of Opportunity with unlimited range lol.

That would be OP for looping if the aura is permanent until the pallet is dropped, you mark all the pallets and every survivor knows where to loop the killer into eternity. Trust me, thats the only reason why average survivors die so often, they dont memorize where they still have pallets etc.

Although a little far out for implementation to the game, the ultimate fix to swf would be to make it so killers are invisible and move faster while not chasing/doing actions (Like in Last Year or L4D when you're a zombie in vs mode).

This would make it so your location is a mystery to all survivors until you strike.

Or just play wraith or freddy?

Now that you mention it, I don't believe invisibility will work.
If it did, Freddy wouldn't be so looked down on, and Wraith would be listed as powerful as Billy, or Nurse.

Wraith even gets movement speed buffs.

I 4k almost every game I play with Wraith and Freddy. I'm Rank 1 with 1,019 hours.

  • Problem from killers perspective:

Hatch is a safe zone for the survivor,if you attack you lmmediately lose (unless myers insta kill). The speed burst after an hit enlarges the safe zone anymore. You have no power at all and need to wait for the survivor.
If you try to play tactically and slugg the last two guys, one of them can simply dc since there is no punishment for it and the other guy gets hatch for free (particular in swf).

    Problem from the survivors perspective:

In a hatch standoff there is nothing you can do besides moving away from your escape location and (most likely) do several gens which is a pretty hopeless scenario in most cases.
Also teammates will surener the game if they think that it's not going well and camp the hatch (I even saw this when 4 survivors were alive) which is basically the same as a ragequit since he is doing literally nothing.

Summarized: the hatch mechanic is a mechanic that needs zero skill, encourages going afk and also is cause of several dc's

    How to fix?
Personally I liked the idea that hatch gets removed completely and that there is some kind of showdown, the devs mentoned the idea to reveal the survivors aura and let a timer tick down until the gates open.

This way the killer Still has a chance, can try to play tactically block of paths etc.

The survivor doesn't simply get a free escape, he has to work for it and earn it.

How many survivors do you see running a map in your games? I'm gonna guess maybe 1 out of 20 games you'll find a person using the map, and if you ask them why, they'll probably admit they're just using it to get extra bloodpoints for discovering objectives.

So here's a rework idea to actually make the map useful:

    • Maps no longer reveal discovered objects on the map while holding M2
    • Maps instead gain a Chart function. Right click any nearby object while holding a map to Chart it, revealing its aura to all teammates
    • Map rarity / add-ons can increase the max number of objects that can be Charted at one time
    • Charges are expended for every object Charted
    • Bloodpoints are awarded the first time a teammate interacts with something you Chart
    • Dropping the map will cause Charted object auras to disappear

    Benefits of the rework:

    • Gives the map utility that is noticeable immediately to you and your team, helping prioritize your objectives
    • By granting bloodpoints only when a teammate interacts with something you Chart, you're rewarded for doing something useful rather than just collecting bloodpoints for every object you run into
    • Possibly allow even pallets, windows, hooks, and lockers to be Charted, which could indirectly save your teammates' lives

Nice idea and doesnt buff SWF.

I assume that the charted objective is only highlighted for a certain time and will go back to normal then

I assumed that it was more of a Third-Seal type mechanic, where you would only see the auras of the last however many objects you charted, but they would be revealed indefinitely. It is a good idea in terms of closing the gap between SWF and solo queue (which I think is the actual solution to the SWF problem, because it's a lot easier to nerf/buff survivors to a point of balance if you only have to work to one standard instead of two separate ones).

Mhm the issue with this would be if the map gets overused, it would probably confuse more than help, also imagine several maps in one session

I would imagine it more as something like a ping or sth bbq-like.

Also with the permanent aura there will occur other problems, e.g. what happens if the gen is done or of the pallet is dropped?

Yeah so an unnerving presence doctor can be used by every killer main and as soon as you get hooked and struggle you die, not to mention all the latency issues this game already has , it would honestly make me throw the game away because it’s not as much difficult to hit skill checks as much as it would get annoying really fast and the times where I did get screwed by latency or something totally out of my control I would be done

Skillchecks are clientside and not affected by latency. If you cant hit unnerving presence skillchecks, then you need to practice a bit more I guess

@Orion @Master I do not agree with the idea that, since a reform cannot be perfect (because of SWF), then it should not be done: the excellent is the enemy of good, produces only immobility.

SWF poses undeniable problems of balance: if you balance on SWF, the solitary survivors are passed off, while balancing on the solitary survivors, the killers complain about a game too unfair: we all know, do not need to repeat it every time: in my opinion, the only possible solution is to give the survivors some passive skills that reduce the gap with the organized teams, and then calculate the counterweights on SWF.

Your idea does not ignore the swf problem it even worsens it.

I feel playing as a survivor is such a chore if you want to get serious bloodpoints, it makes more sense to just spam play the killer. I feel they should increase/add a reward for straight up finishing the game, or split it between completing the game and the struggle phase (to discourage intentional suicides)...thoughts?

For one, I play PS4 so I think the degree of accuracy I get out of her blink is minimized even after cranking up the sensitivity. From what I understand tactically speaking she more of a long range ambush character, pinpointing Survivor locations and blinking to score hits since chasing is useless and the fatigue gives them a chance to break line of sight. I’ve been running Insidious to capitalize on this, but at this point I’m honestly looking for feedback—tips, tactics, builds, anything other than “git gud”. Try upping your sensitvity up the maximum. Thats what other console nurses have suggested

Doesn't work I tried it back when I used to play on xbox. It doesn't help at all. Hopefully in the console patch they'll buff her in console to be as strong as Nurse on PC since she's unplayable on console. The slower turning really hurts her and Huntress.

I highly doubt that they will do two builds of the game

I mean the turning sorry should have said so.

    So whats your suggestion?
XBOX might get native M/K support, but PS....

So I play survivor, and I have always had a problem with one thing I do near the endgame.
Leaving my teammates to die. If I feel like I have no other option, I will leave my teammates behind if they have been downed and are on a hook. My teammates have told me "Just let him kill you and save me." or things like that.
Is this okay if there is no other option that involves both of us escaping? For the most part, I have to look after #1...

It is ok even if there is an option that invovles both of you escaping.
All this overaltruism only became a thing with SWF.

I will always let toxic survivors die btw

Apparently, that location is where Survivors have more of a chance to escape.
All 5 CF (Coldwind Farm) maps are in the top 8, which is just absurd.

Why do i bring this up?
    I can't relate to it.
These maps are where i shine the most as Killer.
I'm not arguing with the stats, i'm saying that i'm surprised Killers perform that much worse on CF.
Is it the corn? Cause i sometimes see complaints about those, and i can't relate to that issue either.

Anyway, this is a good time to talk about it: What do you think about Coldwind Farm in general, what do you think about the 5 maps & what do you think about these stats?

Imagine playing on console. You have horrible fps and ######### controller aim, now there is corn blocking your vision and survivors 360ing all day.

I already hate it on PC, but when I think about console plebs..... it must hurt

  • Would be nice if we get a solo-queue at some point.
But with SWF currently the idea doesnt make sense

  • The backward view makes up for it

  • You do realize that you can use the old email account on the new phone too?
You can reset your pasword if you forgot it^^

  • Everytime I play a game in german, I always facepalm and switch to english
