  • Hmm lets see. Deathslinger is perfectly fine he's a B tier killer that has great 1v1 but his gen pressure sucks.

Spirit imo is fine, people need to shut up and learn to get better at playing against her and stop complaining like what you're doing.

Imo no killer needs a nerf at all.

The only killers that still need tweaks or buffs/rework are Pig, Trapper, Myers & Legion.

Pig: Power tweaks & Traps RNG change.

Trapper: Just allow him to carry all of his traps.

Myers: Outdated and needs an add-on pass.

    Legion: Big Rework needed.

Survivors have the perks and tools to deal with every killer, it's just your own skills you need to improve instead of nerfing a killer. You need to get better yourself and stop ruining games for others by suiciding on hook because you play bad against a killer.

  • 2 things helped Dbd.

    1. Content Creators.

    2. Licence DLC's

  • He's A tier. Perfectly fine good killer that has counters and fun to play.

  • Ghostface. He's my first and only killer I've P3 all of my other killers are P1.

  • Hawkins isn't getting changed the Devs said this already.

The only maps left are Haddenfield, Red Forest & Swamp.

  • Uhh... No.

    1. Stop camping the pallets.

    2. Learn to bait pallets.

    3. Pre-dropping pallets actually create a longer loop that wastes the killers time forcing them to break it.

    4. The only bad pallets on Hawkins are the ones upstairs in the small rooms.

Can't tell you how many times I've played on Hawkins against "Good Survivors" that knew how to utilize these so called "Unsafe Pallets" very well.

Once again can't balance a game for players that don't want to learn or get better or even try and understand how to loop efficiently.

How do you think killers feel when they play on The Game map..... Should they change Hawkins to be exactly like that?

I would quit this game after 3yrs of play.

  • Look... I don't know how long you've been playing this game... and I'm not trying to come off as a jerk or anything but if the killers decide to camp or tunnel they are allowed to do so.

It's not a punishable thing... The Devs have said it themselves. If you want to punish the killer for camping... Do the generators or if you really want to save your teammates bring Borrowed Time... If the killer is Tunneling, either be good enough to loop them for awhile so that your teammates can have enough time to finish generators or just bring DStrike.

There's perks and playstyles in this game that can help avoid all of this.

I'm sorry that you're not having a great experience with the game but it'll get better down the road, sometimes you just have to take the L from a bad gameplay and move on to the next game.

Honestly it has nothing to do with being over seas. Everyone that plays this games has been camped and tunnelled before, it's a common thing and you'll run into a killer that does it once or twice every ten or fifteen games. Seven games back to back is very unfortunate and I feel bad for that happening to you.

I'm talking about buffed wraith. I genuinely believe he's too much now. Not only does he move super fast that he basically beats you to a loop he has a stupid speed buff when coming out of uncloacked which rendures majority of pallets unsafe than useual.

Seriously it's too much! And don't give me "just get gud" he beats you to every loop and you have to drop pallets quick because of his stupid lunge.

Lmao you do know they nerfed his uncloak lunge speed when they buffed his cloaked speed right? So it's worse then what it use to be.

Plus if he's beating you to a loop just run the other direction or trick him into moving. I do this all the time.

DON'T JUST STAND IN THE PALLET WHILE HE'S UNCLOAKING ALLOWING HIM A 50/50. Play around the other side of the loop (the longer side).

I like buffed Wraith he deserves it. But don't complain about how good a killer is now instead of just getting better yourself. Learn to adapt and "Git Gud".

  • THE. FREDDY. NERF. LITERALLY. DID. NOTHING. TO. HIM.

  • Today with my friend. We both haven't played survivor in like 2 months, she also hasn't played Dbd in that same time length but I have pretty much played Dbd killer in that time length.

I only play Dbd like twice a week, but we used to play it like everyday but we've pretty much taken a break until now.

We've just been having fun playing other games like Bloodborne & Darksouls.

  • Bruh I can't tell if this is a troll or not lol.

Sure the perks are strong combined but 2 of the 3 perks can literally be destroyed.

    Sooo... Yeah :)

  • I play Blight and I don't even know how to do, I could actually careless to be honest.

I don't think I've even crossed a single Blight actually doing it themselves?

If I do happen to come across this rare thing in my game one day... Oh well, I guess I'll just adapt and learn to outplay it instead of complaining about it.

  • @Soulpaw said:

Ok, very easy thing here. You have no terror radius due to tinkerer. Each of these examples is when you have no terror radius. If you read his ability, it's not a fixed range but instead causes all Survivors WITHIN YOUR TERROR RADIUS to scream. Since you had undetectable while using your ability, no one was in your terror radius because you don't have one while tinkerer is active.

I'd personally replace that ability with sloppy butcher or whispers or try to recognize when your undetectable.

Wow I didn't even know that was a thing with Doc & Tinkerer. Alright thanks for the advice. Been playing this game for 3 and a half years and never knew that was a thing. First time seeing it. I'll be switching perks now.

If a Legion misses an attack, that's on them, no need to hold their hand and give them another hit. If all we are doing is tweaking his current kit then he should not be losing any power after M1ing, his Frenzy speed should be increased to 150% and his fatigue should be decreased by a second. I would much prefer him getting a full rework though.

I waskinda gonna say the same thing about the fatigue as well but I understand what you mean.

@OGlilSPOOK20 What you just said did not add up with my opinion Im "stumped" with what your trying to prove. Where did I say killers need a nerf because they can get a free injure or Plague needs a nerf because people have been mastering them maybe if you open your eyes and reread what Im saying maybe you will understand. I'm not even complaining about how bad my games are in the first place nor do I ever see a point in that its just certain things that I see may be too strong/weak on either side. If you think I'm a survivor main.. wrong I play both roles. My title is not a statement ( for clarity of what I mean by that " Plague needs a nerf" ) its a question ( Does plague need a nerf ?) that I asked followed by my opinion and wanted to know you all thoughts.

Well I read what you said 5 times... I stand by what I say.

You pretty much got your answer from everyone here.

It was a no brainer... Actual dumb question to be asked since she's a solid B tier killer. (My apologies for saying dumb)

At this point in Dbd I just want people to understand that no killer needs or deserve a nerf but only killers that aren't getting attention like Pig or Legion that actually need buffs.

  • You definitely don't play killer at all because if you do then you'll know that in high level gameplay (high ranks) gens go too fast.

Killers use gen slowdown perks to prevent gens from go too fast so the game doesn't end very short.

Trust me us killers want to change up our builds and do fun gimmicky builds but we can't because once again... In high level gameplay the gens go to fast.

Imagine not using a single gen slowdown perk up against a team that are really good at looping and wasting the killers time and also pressuring the gens. That's not gonna be a good time or fun at all for the killer.

You're complaining that killers are basically over using these perks and you're tired of seeing them.

How do you think us killers feel when we see survivors running the same over used perks over and over again?

DS, Deadhard, BT, Unbreakable, Deliverance, SB, BL, Iron Will, Spine Chill, Prove Thyself, Head on, Soul Guard, Adrenaline and OoO.

If the Devs were to do anything about the rate of how fast gens go (gen speed) then a lot of us killers will gladly change up our builds.

  • @Drixpy_Jayyy said:

I think she does because she is quite strong although she is underrated. I honestly see no point in cleansing if we are going to get sick again and give her the corrupt purge ability. I know her counterplay which is not cleansing till deathhook or end of the game or just overcleansing and when she gets her power we camp pallets to stun her out of it but it seems to me some plagues are just smart to counter it. It would be nice if cleansing would make you immune to vile purge for maybe a min. Idk what do you guys think

I'm a little stumped at what you're trying to prove.

Let me get this right... So the killer is underrated and strong and she basically gets free injuries (just like Legion can right, so does this mean Legion should be nerfed?) but you also know all the counters of that killer but because the players playing as the killer are playing smart then that makes her OP?

So a killer should be nerfed because a player has basically put a ton of time into that killer mastering them?

A lot of people gotta stop coming to the forums to rant and complain about X or Y killer just because they had a bad game against them.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/247880/the-blight-needs-to-be-toned-down

So...A killer that defies all mechanics of the game in nurse is ok. Because she takes skill. But a character in blight needs toned down.. Because you feel he's too easy to use...? Ok then

Yea they made no sense with this post at all.

Basically they should complain about Billy over Blight then if that's the case.

Billy is also 115% and power that gives him mobility that's faster then Blights mobility and he can one shot.

Dude... The op of this thread is just ranting because they had a bad game against a Blight that's all.

  • 1. They are addressing & changing the J-flick.

    2. He's not even working as intended on consoles.

    3. A good majority of the community all agree that he's one of the balanced killers next to Oni & Billy.

    4. If you "Tone" him down in any of the slightest way you're destroying the character and how he's meant to play basically dropping him from A tier to C tier.

    5. It'll be another community reaction of why tf was Blight a well balanced killer nerfed??? Just like Hillbilly.

Just because you have a bad game against a killer or you're not good at playing against that specific killer doesn't mean they need to be changed to your fitting. We're all not supposed to be good at going up against every killer... That would be boring.

I'd like to ask have you even put a couple hours into playing Blight instead of complaining about him.

If so you would understand that his power isn't so great in certain situations in chases at certain loops or on certain maps, plus it can be easily countered by LoS or Objects in his way.

You say he benefits from the Ruin, Undying meta..... I mean what killer doesn't? First off Undying was nerfed so all you have to do is break 2 totems and he's stuck with only 2 perks for the rest of the game. Plus you say him having mobility and being 115% makes him strong? Yes let me become 115% m1 killer that can't use my power at loops just like all the other generic m1 killers which means we have no choice but to run a boring loop hence wasting my time. Dude you main Nurse..... She doesn't give af about loops πŸ˜‚.

I don't understand how you're complaining about his power recovery when he literally has to wait for all 5 of his tokens to come back before he can use his power again. Sure he recovers pretty fast if he has only used 1 or 2 of his tokens but if he's used 3 or more it's gonna take him a bit to get them back.

God and lets not talk about his so called "Fixed" collision.

Once again if you've played the killer at all you would know these things.

  • Well not gonna lie but me personally... I hate Trapper, he's in my Top 3 most hated killers to go against but I can't deny he needs a buff.

I think they should just allow the guy to start the trial with all his traps on him that way he shouldn't have to waste time walking around the map to get them. If he wants the traps back he'll have to go pick them up in the location s he set them but good thing is there's no cap on how many he can carry.

This would easily turn Trapper into an A tier killer.

  • I mean when survivors are in the Dreamworld and inflicting with the Oblivious status they only hear his Lullaby when in range but it's not directional.

Meaning you know he's in your area or near you but you can't pinpoint where he is exactly giving him some type of an advantage to sneaking up on hiding survivors that can't pinpoint where he's coming from giving him a free hit.

It's kinda like Huntress... You hear her Lullaby but you can't tell where she's coming from so you basically end up running into her most of the time.

But I have no clue why the Devs buff BT... A meta perk that was already pretty strong. I feel like they did it as another nerf to Freddy but accidentally indirectly nerfed all Stealth killers without thinking.

  • Uh... No!

Flashlights, Crouching, BT, Deadhard & bodyblocking.

    Congrats you just countered her.

Stop nerfing a killer because you're bad a playing against them instead of trying to understand and get better against them.

This game will be boring af if you gotta nerf a good killer just so you can have fun.

She's good but not played alot. So statistically speaking shouldn't Nurse get a buff then?

Because she's not played alot and she loses alot... But we know she's the best killer.

Just cause you had a frustrating game shouldn't be you crying for a change because you want a easier game.

  • Honestly imo he's a top 10 killer. One of the best at zoning out survivors. Some survivors are a little ticked that he's one of the few killers that can outplay them at loops.

One of the best at playing the shack as a lot of other killers can't do that. He can stop survivors from making it to certain pallets before throwing them. He basically gets a free injury (I mean so does Legion).

I would say he's a tough one to verse only if the player behind him is good.

Some survivors just want a easy boring chase that'll allow them to loop a pallet/shack 3 times. They don't wanna look over their shoulders and worry about when or if he'll shoot.

Deathslinger definitely can be countered but some survivors rather then trying and learning to get better against him they just give up and complain and scream NERF THIS KILLER.

  • Well... 3 genned huh?

Also sounds like 3 ppl still alive.

My question is why didn't you 3 just split up and try to work on separate gens?

He wouldn't be able to pressure all 3 if they're being worked on separately, which means he would have to chase and kill someone.

All 3 of you shouldn't just be sitting on the same gen. Plus go search a chest for a lucky key and try to escape via hatch.

  • Grabs are fine. It's the dollar store servers they have that are cucking the grabs.

  • 2 posts?

Ladies & Gents... We gottem. πŸ˜‚

Bruh... If you wanna punish the killer for camping, just DO THE DAMN GENS!!!

You're throwing the game by running in saving against killers that can one shot.

Don't hate the killer, you just need to understand the situation.

  • How about you stop complaining about them.

If you do happen to go up against a SWF you have 2 options.

    1. Try your best to win.

    2. Take the L & move on.

Not every single game you get will be a SWF.

The Devs will never take away the option to play with friends just because you wanna play the game like it's an Esport.

  • Yea they never listen to the community.

When I first heard that Freddy was getting a nerf I was like oh no, because I like to play Freddy but I never used his stupid slow down add-ons.

I was so scared that they would butcher him with the nerf but then I saw the changes and I laughed and said oh he's 100% fine... These changes did nothing to him, he's still an A tier killer.

The reason imo why Freddy is so strong is that his power synergizes really well with alot of gen defense perks.

Plus the true strength behind Freddy's power is his Dream Projection. Him being allowed to teleport to gens is really strong and apparently the Devs weren't smart enough to notice that. πŸ’€

I noticed in high ranks some survivors will run self-care and if they are injured and you’re chasing them they will drop a pallet and start self-caring right in your face. Is there a tactical advantage to doing this? Is there a reason for it? It mostly feels like a slight dig at the killer more than anything. Like I think you’re such a non threat I’ll heal in front of you. Cause self-care takes so long it’s practically worthless if you have teammates to heal you.

They do it because They're trying to see if the killer will take the bait and not break the pallet so they can loop it for longer.

  • @Jane_Is_Mega_Thicc said:

So basically I was repairing a generator then I hear the skill check sound but no skill check appears, then the generator explodes. I’m not sure if this is a bug because it’s really starting to annoy me lol. I’m I the only one experiencing this??

I know the bug you're talking about and it's been in the game for years and the devs somehow still haven't fixed it. I guess cause it's super rare when you do get it so they don't see it as a high priority to fix.

I've had multiple game where I would get a skillcheck hit it and the skillcheck would be stuck on my screen and there was a point where I would load into a match unable to see my teammates profiles at the bottom left or gens and unable to see skillchecks rendering me useless for the whole game.

  • I think the real question we should be asking here is how are you even being blinded in the first place?

You're playing Victor... He's 5x faster then survivors?

  • Man yall worried about getting maps, all I want is a new game mode for F sakes.

Mori is sadly useless now. I mean you need 2 hooks before mori. And putting survivor to hook is faster than mori animation so many times. Maybe only counters DS but that's all.

My idea activate it after total 8 hooks. Like Deveour Hope. For mori all survivors with normal mori, we need hook them twice (8 hooks). Change it to total hooks. So make mori active after 8 hooks. Before 8 hooks noone can be mori. And after mori active, all survivor can be kill. Even survivor who never get hook. That will make mori more useful and fair for both sides. What you thinking, Don't hesitate to criticize. And if you have idea for mori write and we can discuss.

Ok so... I'm sorry but this actually means nothing and it doesn't actually make it useful at all.

So what you're saying is I need 8 hooks right? So lets say I hook each survivor twice and now I've met the condition I can just mori them now. But wait... They're all on death hook anyways? It's the same conditions as it already is now.

Ok so let's say I hook 2 survivors 3 times and they're dead and out of the game and I've hooked the last 2 survivors once, now I can mori them... But this doesn't matter anymore... There's only 2 survivors left which means you did your job and the mori is now useless to even use at this point.

It'll still be the same even if you haven't hook 1 of the survivors. You basically just turned the Ebony Mori into a Cypress Mori.

If I had to make a change to mori's in general, I'd just make them basekit for all killers since you can only kill them on death hook giving the killer the option to hook or kill in a strategic way.

Maybe you'll wanna hook to use Pop or use BBQ to find the last survivor, or you can just straight up kill them instead of slugging them giving a second chance via unbreakable or pick up or to deny DS.

  • Once again idk why the Devs won't just disable the damn perk until it's fixed like they did with Red Forest so no one can abuse it.

    IT'S JUST THAT SIMPLE!!!

  • I don't think any killer needs a nerf.

I think the Devs need to buff the bad killers instead of nerfing the good one's and stop bringing them down to the same level as the bad killers.

    1. Legion (Buff): Allow Legion 2 swing attempts while in Frenzy, allow Legion to see scratch marks while in Frenzy, and Turn Frank's Mixtape into an Ultra rare add-on that will down survivors with 3 hits from Frenzy, downside is that it recharges the power slowly. (This gives the killer an option, chase and down them now or wait for power to recharge and down them.)

    2. Pig (Buff): Increase Pig's crouched movement speed to normal to put her on par with Ghostface. (It's ridiculous that he can do the same thing as her but faster.) When going for her dash attack she should roar as she's doing it not before she does it. (This will increase her odds on landing the attack instead of alerting survivors before she actually does it.)

    3. Trapper (Buff): Just allow the man to carry all of his traps at the beginning of the game. If he wants his traps back he'll have to go to the locations where he left them to pick them back up.

    4. Myers (Buff): Honestly it's hard to buff him because he could easily become a top 5 killer if over buffed. He definitely needs his add-ons reworked, he only has a handful of useful ones.

As you can see from the other comment I've linked, moderators do not want you to report people for it, you're only getting yourself in trouble for DCing.

    Sorry my bad

  • If the perk is bugged breaking hooks permanently the Devs need to step in and disable the perk until it's fixed just like they do with maps.

That's a stupid bug and I swear if I see any survivors in my game using it I'll dc and report them.

  • The perk is fine nothing wrong with it at all.

I play both roles 50/50 it's useful in a synergy build but who really cares.

The perk has been this way for years... Why cry about it now when it's not a major problem.

I'm pretty sure 95% of the community doesn't have a huge problem with the perk.

Instead of searching for reasons to cry about a perk and asking for nerfs we should be asking for crap perks to get buffed.

  • At this point does it even matter anymore?

Sure it sucks if they know it's a Myers but as survivor or killer I don't care because as survivor I don't just hop on a gen first start of a game, I run around to find out who the killer is first and as killer I could careless if they know what killer I'm playing.

  • Imo it's between Nemesis, Mr. X, or Wesker.

Wesker would be cool with blinking powers like Nurse but he can't blink through walls which means he can only blink at a limited range and has multiple charges.

But Nemesis or Mr. X will be cool as well.

  • Bruh I'm just laughing at the amount of people in here who all agree and thinks Freddy is bad now.

Dude is still gonna be an A tier killer, yes these nerfs slightly hurt him but it didn't destroy him.

People are overreacting and over exaggerating his changes.

It's the same with Hillbilly's change... People overreact but he's still one of the best killers in the game.

Same with Nurse & Spirit when they got changes... But they're still 2 of the best killers in the game.

  • No.

If they kidnap Victor then that means they can't work on gens. They're hurting their team.

Best thing for you to do is ignore that player and go for their teammates.

Plus after a certain amount of time you can call Victor to come back.

  • Billy, Blight, & Oni are the most balanced imo.

Maybe it'd help to actually read what I said instead of assuming things and spouting off uninformed nonsense then, friend. Your responses in this thread are laughable considering you haven't even read anything that isn't supporting your own opinion. Calling me a crybaby when you're the one claiming PTSD over a video game perk? Really? Sounds like a bigger real life issue to me lol.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2083867#Comment_2083867

I can understand your point for sure, but what do you propose then?

A scenario I've been encountering all too often post-DS nerf: you're unhooked, killer immediately comes back and comes after you. You're being chased without a chance to even regroup yourself. Killer puts you into dying state, at this point you've burned through anywhere from 15-30 seconds of DS depending on how good your chase is. Killer leaves to kick a gen or go whack someone really quick, then comes back to you. You're hooked a second time without utilizing DS.

Maybe this isn't tunneling to you, but it is to a lot of people, and it is a problem.

AGAIN FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T/WON'T READ: I AM NOT SAYING IT SHOULD GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS. I am saying some alternatives should be added in addition to make it better serve it's purpose across the board.-

Ha! No I read what you said and that crap is more laughable then anything.

Oh yea lets pause ds until someone else gets hooked so I can still do whatever I want in the killers face.

If you have time to go break totems or heal or work on a gen after getting unhooked then you're not being tunnelled. If you're getting slugged, then that's more likely just a strategic move from the killer to get people off gens.

Lets say we go with this ds change you want... I go look for other survivors to hook but they all wanna play the stealth game. I can't find anyone but I find the survivor that was unhooked 59.9999secs ago.

Should I ignore them or chase them? So if I down them and picked them up and get d striked, do I deserve that? So basically I'm being punished for tunneling when I didn't even tunnel and it's ridiculous a survivor can have infinite invincibility until someone else gets hooked.

This can cause alot of problems for the killer because those survivors will become annoying and getting in the killers way. I can slug them but that's what you're complaining about even though that's a strategic move.

Ok once again an example, lets say I'm chasing a survivor that brings me to a gen that is being worked on and I decide to break chase to put pressure on the gen and the person working on the gen just got unhooked literally 60secs ago and I down them and pick them up and get hit with ds is ridiculous. You're making the perk even more busted.

Plus it clearly shows that you probably don't even touch the killer role or have any time put into it if you're gonna try and crap on me about ptsd because of a perk that clearly deserved its nerf and been dominating this game for too long.

Complaining about a op perk getting nerfed... Maybe you should drop the training wheels and learn to get better without it.

I've been playing this game for 3yrs and I said ds was busted from the beginning when I first used it and I stopped for a long time.

Ds should be active indefinitely..... Lmao ######### is that πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
