I think making struggle phase more rewarding while in the killer's terror radius should fix camping. As in if you're being camped and you get to the struggle phase you get enough point to black pip or if you had enough objective at some point it might be enough to pip. This will encourage survivors who are being camped to stay and waste the killer's time. Being camped is not fun and in most cases players just suicide on hook when they realize they're being camped to just go to the next game and that in my opinion is why some killers still do it looking for the one hook kills and easy wins.
I think making looping phase more rewarding while being within a certain radius from the survivor should fix looping. If youre been looped and you follow the survivor, then you get enough emblem points as if the survivor didnt loop.
This will encourage killers who are being looped to stay and waste the survivors time. Being looped is not fun and in most cases killers just camp after being looped when they realize that they have been looped for several gens and just wiat till the game is over and proceed with the next game.
Btw, killers camp because survivors reward them for doing it and throwing each other at the hook instead of simply doing their objective, and yes thats an easy win if the survivors are stupid enough

He wants rewards for strugglign on the hook while inside the terror radius. With this definition, "facecamping" a survivor with insidious is not camping.
I love 3-post "fix camping" threads. THey are always thought-through and make me smile

I am seriously trying to get my skill up with Nurse so I don’t just have this useless character hanging out in my roster that I never use. I know that will have plenty of you crying blasphemy and protesting that she is greatest ever. I simply have not experienced this AT ALL. For one, I play PS4 so I think the degree of accuracy I get out of her blink is minimized even after cranking up the sensitivity. From what I understand tactically speaking she more of a long range ambush character, pinpointing Survivor locations and blinking to score hits since chasing is useless and the fatigue gives them a chance to break line of sight. I’ve been running Insidious to capitalize on this, but at this point I’m honestly looking for feedback—tips, tactics, builds, anything other than “git gud”. I’m not looking to whine about it and I’m not claiming to be some great player, but I’m looking to get excited about using her again... thanks.Try upping your sensitvity up the maximum. Thats what other console nurses have suggested

Hello Cuties!
I had a small Idea about the hatch in generell.
What about let two hatches spawn?
The second hatch will spawn always in the basement, but the basement stays closed (same animation ín the tutorial),
UNTIL the survivor opened the entrance. To open the entrance a survivor needs 30 seconds. ( can be countert with territorial imperative)
After the third/last survivor died, the normal hatch stays closed for 40 seconds and will get closed again for 10 seconds, if the survivor got 8 meters near the hatch.
The basement Hatch will stay open . The survivor escaped automaticilly, if he stays on the hatch. Why would we want to have a system like that?
Here we have two possibilitys. First the basement and second the normal hatch. Both ways have their risks and the killer have enough time to do something against it. And their won't be anysort of hatch stand off.I am sure that this Idea needs some improvement, so keep free to tell me your opinions and maybe this will help all of us to find a enjoying way to handle the hatch thing.
DId I understand that correctly.
The outside-hatch is not useable after a 40 second timer and to access the basement hatch the survivor have to open the entrance standing still 30 seconds?
Basically the survivors has to be on the hatch when the other guy dies or he doesnt stand a chance?
I liked the idea from the devs better tbh

@Master 1) BBQ is a good reason not to do it, and a Decisive Strike rework doesn't mean everybody will use it.2) The survivor has to put in one or more gens the exact amount of charges that a gen needs to be repaired from the beginning to the very end.
3) It's a wrong word: not "grabbed", but "picked up", that means the highest dangerous playstyle ever: you can use it every time you are in the killer's grasp, but if you fail the skill check or the killer dribbles you to the hook, you get a death sentence.
4) I don't know if it should be an obsession perk: balance test would answer your question.
5) No, Rancor would not be useless: the killer would have a surprise effect, would be compelled to change their plans.
6) Yeah, a situational perk to counter a special action, if it occurs.
1) Explain that thing with BBQ, unless you are genrushed you will always get the 4 stacks
2) Ok, so you are talking about an equivalent of one gen (like in the dailies)
3)hitting the skillcheck is really not hard, that would only punish bad survivors

You're right, but good speed is also necessary for good matches. I had the same issue as OP. But after I switched to a better ISP with a better speed plan, and connected my system through a wired connection, it resolved the issue for me.
Speed is not necessary, see above.
But a wireless connection can mess up everything, especially if you are living in an apartment complex with a lot of other wifi users that disturb everything -

If so, I'll stop trying to play Killer at least, since I know the problem is on my end.
Your internet is not the issue, how much fps do you get ingame? If your capable of geting 60 then the hardware isnt the issue either.

Could be an unstable connection. Some ISPs are unreliable.

I understand he is able to do so with the entire original 4 survivors; but being able to wear claudettes face is actually pretty problematic. We already deal with a lot of toxicity in the community, especially racism/homophobia, so the fact that there is a white killer that is able to actually paint his face black (african american) as a cosmetic is pretty messed up. I don't think this should be a cosmetic in the game still, it was an interesting idea for cosmetics you can unlock via achieving a certain about of kills on a certain survivor, but at the end of the day this is appropriating toxic/racist behavior especially by killers who troll afterwords and use racial slurs.Ive been playing this game for 2 years and noone has considered that racist so far.
You are the first one

However, just look how many perks SWF already has built in......

Since the down animation flings players a full body length, I would love to see the ability for a killer to grab a survivor, who has not fully crawled past the barrier, by the leg and drag them back into the playable area and pick them up. Tell me that wouldn't solve some problem and put the terror back into players.
The problem is that the majority of the community purchased a horror game, but actually doesnt like horror games

I propose the Community the following changes and reworks:1) SIMPLE CHANGE: Decisive Strike will be no more an obsession perk, but the survivor cannot use it until they perform a safe rescue (like Deliverance);
2) CHALLENGING CHANGE: Decisive Strike will be no more an obsession perk and become an activable perk. Every time you fully repair a generator, fully cleanse a totem, fully search a chest and perform a safe rescue (all four requirements must be met!), the perks activates. When used, it can be reactivated with the same procedure;
3) EXTREME CHANGE: Decisive Strike can be used every time you are grabbed, but you are immediately sacrificed if hooked (like the last survivor);4) FIRST REWORK: Once for trial, Decisive Strike can be used to hit and stun the killer within 8 meters for 4/5/6 seconds;
5) SECOND REWORK: Decisive Strike suddenly transfers the obsession to another survivor (or, if there are no other survivors, destroys the obsession), when the killer is about to take an action based on obsession (for example, Rancor) against the survivor running it;
6) THIRD REWORK: Once for trial, Decisive Strike can counter a killing action (regardless if it depends on Mori or power's add-ons), and the killer is stunned for 3/4/5 seconds.1) same as deliverance, do you really want to give the killers reason not to give away safe unhooks? think about that
2) Fully repair a gen? You dont get it when someone has repaired a bit too? Seems like really weird design, also look 1) agian
3) grabing is really rare
4) I liked this one (what about obsession though?)
5) completely takes rancor out of the game (killer perks stronger than survivor ones?)
6) Interesting, but moris arent used that often even if survivors claim so

@Nickenzie said:
Hex (Remember Me): You'll become obsessed with a survivor. Every time you attack a survivor, receive a token towards Remember Me. Every token will increase the opening time of the exit gates by 2/3/4 seconds. Remember Me will affect all survivors but when cleansed, ONLY the obsession will be freed from Remember Me's effects.
Hex's effects will continue to affect the obsession until destroyed.Pros:
1.) If not cleansed, the obsession will suffer from the exit gate penalty just like the non obsessions. This will encourage killers to not tunnel their obsession to death if this hex isn't cleansed.
2.) No token limit to Remember Me, this means that you can gain as many tokens as you want and keep stacking the exit gate penalty.
3.) Cleaning this Hex doesn't completely shut down this perk. It only frees the obsession from the exit gate penalty and prevents you from earning tokens by attacking the obsession, that's it.Cons:
1.) Can be cleansed early to free the obsession from the exit gate penalty and since the Hex is cleansed, you cannot earn tokens by attacking your obsession. This can cause killers to tunnel their obsession to death or waste time killing the obsession while gaining no tokens to Remember Me.Thoughts? Please leave your feedback below with reasoning and justification.
Definitely an interesting idea, but I dont see why the perk wouldnt encourage tunneling the obsession. Since it is a hex totem and its location is given away (lets be real here), it will be cleansed anyway during the game. Since the obsession is the only one who will be freed from the penalty, it totally makes sense to make sure the obsession is dead before gens are done.
Personally, I wouldnt use this perk. I hate the RNG and spawning on totems, you instantly have a dead perk and all that stuff. Additionally this may result in some really poor gameplay in the endgame when survivors are too scared to open the gates, as killer you gonna patrol and wait for a survivor to show up at the gates. The survivors will wait until you stop patroling.... this can go on forever
If at some point, the hex locations get fixed AND they introduce some kind of timer for the endgame, then this would be a perk I would definitely use, but at the moment I doubt it

Slugging doesnt even work if you use knockout because SWF can simply communicate their location, they dont need auras. Hex seal is just a worse perk than knockout

* You can mindgame survivor. You can't mindgame good survivor. And no, they can't loop you for 2 minutes, if you play your role good. And if you are more the "I dont like to think"-Person, than play Nurse.
* Urgh. "Maybe play some not-swf-Survivor matches and come down to earth. Thanks." You as survivor without friends.I doesnt they i tunnel the first person.
I said when i tunnel 1 time.
That mean i hook someone.
Someone unhook him.
I go back to the hook and found him.
I hit him once and then he dc.
And survivor can loop you for 2 min, when survivor dont make mistakes they can loop you rly hard on the right spots.
Example: 2 windows are rly closed to each other and the killer doesnt have bamboozle.
And why should i play survivor with friends when i want play killer?
And i just write frustrating things for killer and survivor.
And why this game is frustrating.
FOR BOTH SIDES.
If a survivor loops you for 2 WHOLE minutes, you get bloodlust. End the chase.
You should play as survivor, without friends, one, to see the other side and calm down from stressful killer games is what he meant.
You know that bloodlust is lost after a pallet?

3.If you are still getting looped for a freaking long time, then learn to play. Sorry, but after all those killers buffs and survivors nerfs, you should have a better time. Or play a build around it. Spirit Fury + Enduring and you will love getting looped. My advise: Play something different and dont call yourself a killermain. Maybe play some not-swf-Survivor matches and come down to earth. Thanks.
- Its not called tunneling . Its called killign survivors to win, but the survivors suck too hard to lose the killer.
- See 1, tunneling doesnt exist
- Survivors can adapt to spirit fury (the good ones ofc) and it will work only once.
The game has design flaws on both sides, if you are too blind to see that, well.....

Yes, that is why the extra challenge for the killer is worth x1.5BP and makes sense with the game tittle itself lol
8vs2
impossible with the current netcode system
Yes, that is why is medium difficulty for the devs
hatch mode

toxic mode
Mute everyone - use 3rd party software to create insanely loud noises instead of losing your voice

Yep me too
Where is the challenge if everyone sits afk in a bush and the killer has no objectives to patrol or sth similar. The game hasnt been built around that and the game would be really boring.
I doubt that toxic mode would be so popular, toxic players usually prefer to make other people feel bad.
If i look at "toxic survivor streamers", then they always complain about killers that play toxic too. -
Me too, but then the perks would require a rework

- matches have a countdown timer, when is 0:00 then the sunrise sunlight burns the killer
- killer gets x1.5BP
- devs effort: low
8vs2 mode (blue vs red team):
- killers can only damage the opposite team, killer stuns killer after hit
- survs can only do their own color gens, totems, etc
- devs effort: medium
Hatch mode:
- small 4x4 meters room with a closed hatch (may open and close randomly), a killer and a survivor
- endurance stand-off tests, more time, more BPs
- devs effort: low
Toxic mode:
- mic chat and proximity-based between killer and survs with possibility to enable to distortion voice
- shouting loud enhances wiggling and earns BP
- devs effort: high
Hard mode:
- first person camera on survivors, earn x1.5BP
- devs effort: medium
what else?
DBD mode

Decisive StrikeUsing whatever is at hand, you stab at your aggressor in an ultimate attempt to escape.
Once per trial, while in the Killer's grasp, once the wiggle meter has reached 33%, succeed a skill check to escape the Killer's grasp and stun them for 3 seconds. You enter a 10/15/20 second bleedout timer.
If the survivor takes any damage during the bleed-out timer or if the bleed-out timer ends, they will be put into the dying state.
After recovering from the stun the killer will will receive Haste for 20 seconds.
With this change:
no survivor perks will affect being the obsession. This will now be entirely random with each survivor having an equal chance of being the obsession
the requirement to break free from the killer's grasp has been made uniform for all tiers. No more immediate skill checks. You must plan ahead to get yourself far enough away from a hook to be able to reach 33%
the stun will be a flat 3 seconds and will no longer be affected by Enduring
survivors will receive the Borrowed Time effect and can do their best to extend the chase, evade the killer, heal, potentially escape, etc.
Why? The devs said on stream that they thought the perk should come with more risk and be fun for both sides. I think the perk will still be powerful for survivors but the risks will be greater and the killer can actually use that Haste effect for whatever they choose (it will stack with Bloodlust, NOED and other perks affecting speed) and they have more ways of counter playing without the need of perks or dribbling.
I'm sure I missed something/I will probably get slammed but I thought this was a step in the right direction for the perk.
So 4 DS in a team means 4*23=92 seconds delay. One survivor needs 80 sec at a gen, mhm......
I missed the stream so im not sure about all the details, but what about activation of DS?
Almsot sounds like the slug meta is coming back
