Is This A Joke?

Are you seriously going to have me wait in a 5 minute + Loading screen and then tell me that only 2 survivors spawned?
Are there any talks about fixing this?
How can you expect your customers to have an enjoyable experience with this bullshit?

  • This is why there should be a Safe Zone DC time period when it's ok to DC.
    It's getting waaaaaaaay too common.

  • Issue since release. I really don't understand what's so difficult about coding a workaround for that, for example: If less than 4 survivors spawn -> match ends automatically.
Or maybe that the code recognises during the loading screen if one or more doesn't load in -> immediately cancel the loading screen and back to lobby

Nope, because "oh, a Nurse - DC"..."oh, a Doc - DC" … "oh the Game map - DC."

You can code around that this only applies in 3v1 or less survivors. Think around the edge lad

Yea, but it is important that it is been done and therefore needed to be pointed out.

  • The reason why it keeps on happening is because BHVR is too clement with the DC bans, for some weird reason, since they always claimed that they could recognize whether it was the player disconnecting by his choice or if it was the game or anything crashing, therefore having the player that didn't really want to be out of the game.
I do understand that addressing the whole thing (debuffing to the killer in order to perfectly fit in a 1v3 version of Dead by Daylight and stuff like that) would require some unnecessarily big work which would also make the game heavier, thus what I think they should do is be more consistent with the punishment, something along the lines of: every 3 disconnections you get a kind of timeout of 10 hours and the more you dc, the longer you get punished till you reach your first soft ban.

If you just let them disconnect till they reach about 30 dcs in a month, then it's pointless, nobody is likely to be afraid of disconnecting and in general you're going to punish a really small portion of the actual Cool Disconnecters Club Inc.

So you say that Dcing for deranking is ok?

  • Usually, these are the matches that turns into a farming one, which im fine with.

I said Safe Zone, and only applies when 3 or less spawn.
No one deranks, no one loses items or offerings.
(ok to DC in a matter of a minute or two)

  • Its not optimal, but if i waited for it I am gonna play reguardless. Worse is waiting for it and getting a solid nothing for your time.
