  • I can agree with you OP. Most of my killer games survivor wants to farm. I try to play normally but I let everyone escape just so it doesn't devolve into DC'ing.

When survivors walk up to me wanting to farm if I don't do it some of them just DC or suicide ruining the game for others who don't want to farm so to an extent I have no choice because I don't want to ruin the other survivors games. Specially with how grindy this event is. Even knowing I can easily just not farm and kill them if they DC I can't get my hooks.

I feel like there would be a lot less DC's or farming if the vial cap didn't exist. That's just me though.

Admittedly though my normal games in red ranks I haven't had to run ruin. If they're testing the waters for a second objective I'd say it works out pretty well. Although outside of the event if they add an objective like nectar they'd have to have a good incentive to harvest it.

  • I noticed that as well. You can use the break function on pallets from the side now and you slide into place. Just like when you're hooking from the side. Noticed it when trying to pick someone up and instead I broke the pallet.

Granted I don't think it's a bad thing but I also only noticed this once.

  • tbh the main thing I'm grateful for is they gave us a choice on what we get for free. Ultimately I think that's the most important thing to take away from this event. Although again I'm a bit biased and don't care too much about cosmetics so I'm probably missing the bigger picture here.

Ah alright guess I just misread the quote then my bad.

@Dustin Even if people claim that they're upset by the fact that we only get 3 cosmetics, that's not actually what the problem is. It's not that people are spoilt, or greedy. People were fine with getting only two cosmetics in previous events because that's all that was offered. Sure, it would have been nice if there were more, but for the most part people were satisfied. The problem people have here is that yes we get more, but it feels like less because we only get a fraction of what's on offer, and the rest is locked behind a paywall. Never before have free players been unable to access part of an event or its rewards.

So it's not 3 free cosmetics instead of 2 free cosmetics, it's 11% of the available cosmetics instead of 100%. That's why people aren't happy.

I get wanting to collect all the cosmetics but I get BHVR's point of view from this too being they're giving more. Honestly my main issue is the massive grind just for those 3 cosmetics. I get they're freebies but I don't exactly like the idea of grinding for a week for one cosmetic set. I play DBD maybe 3 sessions a week so if it's like last event I'm going to have to no life this game for 8 hours or something in 1 day.

I do agree it kind of sucks being the event is a massive grind for 3 cosmetics so you have to choose between 3 random cosmetics or 1 full set for 1 character.

Here is the list of the skins we could get during the other events.
Yes, we should totally be mad at them. /S

Is that a reply to me or Fibijean. I know you have Fibijean's post but my name is kind of where the body of text is so I'm unsure if you messed up formatting or my browser is messed up. Just in case I'm not mad at BHVR at all I think the event is fine although I understand the frustration.

  • Trapper.

I might also get the Doctor one just because the face is good meme material but that's about it. Regardless though the Doc looks so nasty I love it.

  • I think what they're offering is fair even though I won't buy it because 10 dollars for a set is more than I'm willing to spend on a cosmetic set. Before we're usually offered 2 cosmetics per event. During this event if we finish everything we have the choice of 3 cosmetics. Granted this event will require a lot more grinding than the previous events.

Although in the grand scheme of things in total the sets will be around $70 if you were to pay for everything. Even if you grind for 1 full set there's still 6 sets or $60 worth of cosmetics. I get people will say you're not intended to own everything but I wish they'd find an alternative. Maybe like 15 points is a full set instead of the freebie being we either get 1 complete set or mix matched items from multiple sets. I don't care too much because I only want 1 set but I understand the disappointment that people have to decide on their freebie either being 1 complete set or mix and matching.

Main thing I'm glad for is that the cosmetics will still be available after. I avoid games that try to force you to impulse buy stuff because it's only available for a certain amount of time. Although overall the event itself is kind of disappointing. This is October and it's such a missed opportunity to not have something special added like a map or special killer for Halloween. I get the three month cycle thing they have planned prevents that but I personally don't care about cosmetics although I appreciate their efforts to make this event great for everyone else though. I hope the nectar side objectives are somehow incorporated into the main game after the event just because I want more objectives for survivor. Maybe not with their current implementation but the idea of it really.

  • The least toxic survivors I've seen are Ace players although every character in this game has their fair share of bad apples.

    @Peasant said:
I've never seen a toxic Quentin to this day.

Every time I've seen a Quentin they have a flashlight macro and teabag. Must be hopped up on what ever he takes to make his face look the way it does so he can click at light speed.

I will admit the purchase "exclusive" items aren't that amazing, just another color variant of the original clothing, but they are there :)

tbh while I don't mind extra goodies it would be nice if we got complimentary auric cells for buying a chapter so we could just pick a cosmetic for the character we want. It would further entice people to buy chapters and it would let us grab what we actually like instead of being disappointed.

Probably sounds entitled or what ever but I mean why not the auric cells are technically an unlimited resource they have. I personally don't feel entitled saying that because I've bought most of the DLC at full price so I easily have sunk $60 in the game already. Not saying it should be massive either just like 100 auric cells per chapter or something. That would currently total to 800 auric cells for example if you owned all the DLC Chapters.

Mostly thought of that because I wasn't a fan of Adam's alternative because there is barely a difference but with the new system I guess I shouldn't expect many alternative outfits included now.

  • @Salty_Pearl said:
I don't think the infinite range was necessary, I did think it needed a range increase but not this much. I think it should've been 24/36/48 meters for 6 seconds and a cooldown of 45 seconds.

Alert is one of the main perks I used as survivor and I can agree it just needed rescaling. T3 was the sweet spot where the perk was usable although T1 and T2 wasn't good at all. It was a good perk before and this change isn't going to necessarily make people use it either. I won't be using it anymore since what made the perk fun to use is now gone since it's so easy to use now. Easy being an understatement since you don't even need to be near the killer to use it now.

I agree with your exact scaling suggestion honestly. For those who choose not to fully level it the perk would be decent but maxing it would still make the perk strong. The cooldown was fine at 30 seconds because if you're watching the killer perform break while they chase someone usually the chase last 30 seconds in between pallets anyways. To an extent the cooldown is redundant but what ever the change is live I expect it to stay the way it is now.

  • To be honest I'd be fine with them removing them from inventories but instead of wiping them from the history of DBD add some sort of in-game archive showing all the retired items. Kind of like the tutorial section explaining the game but instead every item is listed even if it's not retired. They could have a little bit of text explaining the item use and why it was retired for example. Would be good trivia to add to the game but not really needed. I still have a few of them sitting in my inventory but since I can't use them I'm not really attached to them to care if they disappear.

Regarding the feature itself I felt like they had various impacts on the game depending on the map and I didn't really like that inconsistency so I'm fine with the removal of the offerings.

We all know that the dev's balance decisions are not based on our needs as players

I always assumed they push out dlc that has perks to band aid solve problems killers have tbh. Hangman's Trick wasn't fitting that bill so they buff Sabo and add an unnecessary penalty to Hangman's Trick if sabo is used. If a killer is using Hangman's Trick that's already a big enough penalty because they have a perk slot dedicated to repairing hooks.

    @SpaceCoconut said:

Do you think that Survivors might sabo event hooks to troll killers trying to get as many of the cosmetics as they can before time runs out?

They did in both events for me which is why in the second event I had ebony mori's stockpiled just for the event. I used an ebony every game until I got my event hooks because I didn't want to deal with BS. I'll be doing the same thing for this event.

  • @Fibijean said:
tl;dr: I understand why people get banned for intentionally disconnecting, but I think there should be a way for people to play casually, in an environment like that which you encounter at low ranks, so that they're not forced to dc in order to derank just so that they can play the game in an enjoyable, low-pressure atmosphere.

Realistically how do you expect this to happen? Sure I can see having a queue that ignores ranks entirely to speed up matchmaking but that's about it. There's no way to make the players more casual because they can queue into a mode regardless of intention.

Not bashing on your suggestion either it's a genuine question but I don't see a realistic approach to it without having made up rules on each side. Unless you literally mean ignoring rank in queue then sure.

Also props to your friend because now I know BHVR is banning people for DC's.

  • Is The Entity an angry mechanic or why does every map only allow the primary option of repairing generators to escape? If the generators aren't left by The Entity what would be The Entity's intended way to escape the trial for survivors?

  • @AChaoticKiller said:

I'm not one to often complain about changes but surely your not so blinded by which side you prefer to play as to understand that this change is absurd. I want perks to be buffed on both sides to change the meta but I don't want perks that are broken. This change makes alert better than all other arua reading perks in the game, even empathy since you don't have to have a survivor being chased for it to be activated. This is already bs since survivor perks should be on the same level or lower than killer perks (its 16 perks vs 4 perks this logic is obvious). If they just add a cool down it would be fine but as it is there is no reason for it to be this strong.

I'm normally not so biased but I'm convinced the majority of the people who are fine with this change don't use Alert or just want anything they can take to be super strong to replace the soon to be nerfed perks. Knowing the killers position constantly without any other requirement is insanely strong. Every pallet broken or generator regressed giving the aura globally is way too strong.

Alert is a good perk if you want to hover around the killer momentarily and get a little extra info when they're in a chase or patrolling gens. Knowing the route they're taking after breaking anything is already strong as it is. It's niche but it has its uses just like how you'd run Empathy if you want to do something like flashlight save as an example. With the suggested change it becomes another mindless perk to slap on to a loadout.

Personally I'm fine with removing the cooldown and slightly increasing the range but having a global range regardless of SWF or not makes the map too safe. I'd rather Alert stay as it is honestly.

Of course the PTB is just testing and nothing is final but this change is something I'm not going to ignore considering Alert is one of the main survivor perks I use.

  • I kind of get why people DC when being slugged or at least some of them. They know they've lost and they'd rather not wait a minute to inevitably be hooked and would rather DC just to go on to the next game.

In this circumstance I feel like some sort of suicide / forfeit option should be a thing. The body of the survivor stays on the ground so the 4th survivor can't cheaply escape through hatch and the 3rd to last survivor can move on without waiting when they know for sure they're dead. I'm not a fan of it personally but I know a good amount of DC's in this scenario are just people wanting to move on to play another game and know they've lost.

I feel your pain. I had to wait for rank reset back when you could derank to 20 so I could play with new players just to ensure I played with people who didn't realize DC'ing was an option and even so I ended up playing a 25 minute match where 10 minutes of it was me camping hatch to ensure the 4k so I never had to try and do that again. Full disclaimer on the hatch camping it was on a map with a cornfield and I couldn't see anything.

@ 49:50 they said it was in their list of things to do.

I do remember what you are referring to I just can't remember what dev stream that specifically was said in. They've mentioned this topic in 3 different dev streams.

Matter a fact I'm pretty sure the quote you're thinking of is when they answered my question because I asked that.

    And many more.

This is so stupid it's possible to tell perks before the game ended, and unfair.

It's really just such an easy thing to do. What the hell happened to it, and why won't you already implement it?!

They're aware of it but honestly at this point this is one of those things I'm not going to expect them to adjust but be pleasantly surprised for when ever they do. It's been requested for a long time and they have acknowledged it multiple times on dev stream and nothing ever came of it.

  • I recommend running Deja Vu if you find that you're 3 genning yourself a lot.

I watched a bit of the vod and overall here's a tl;dr on your complaint since I believe mods tend to answer this occasionally.

If the killer isn't actively trying to kill you even if you were to walk up to them that could be considered holding the game hostage. If the killer is at least chasing you and primarily focusing on protecting gens that is more so playing the game. Watching a fair bit of the vod I can't confidently say the killer did this to intentionally hold the game hostage at least not at the start all of you were just thirsty for that win and the game went on longer than it should have.

Take that with a grain of salt because that's just a quick summary of what I've seen mods say and I probably butchered it somewhere. If a mod sees your thread they can correct me.

Personally I would have just let the killer sacrifice me so I can peace out of that game I'm not a fan of 15+ minute games.

    1. Freddy rework - I'd like to see survivors only seeing Freddy in some sort of sleep state kept along with Freddy seeing the aura of survivors in sleep state but that's the only thing I really like about Freddy. Survivors having half action speed is good but since it's so easy for survivors to wake up who are not in a chase it's kind of weak unless you get the perfect setup. Hands down Freddy was the biggest missed opportunity this game has had (Before nerf) and he should get a rework to make him fun for everyone but also make him playable without being dependent on addons.

If BHVR goes the route of only balancing him instead of a rework
    *Sleep time 4 seconds
*Self-Care removed from list of stuff that wakes up survivors (Only the perk)
    *Remove downsides of addons
*Freddy no longer locks on to awake survivors when attacking although can still swing to attack them if he times it to where they fall asleep

For a rework the main aspects of Freddy I'd like to see changed are how survivors are pulled into sleep state. Tagging each individual survivor is annoying and if it's a group some survivors can block the power by standing in the way.

    1. Leatherface buffs and Addon changes

    2. New end game objectives and other map objectives similar to totems - This would mostly add to the late game and not really be a buff / nerf.

    3. Testing of the new DS, built in Blood Warden, hatch changes and slower healing speed in next PTB. Can't say I want all of these added but I want to see them in an actual game to see how good they would be.

  • As killer

I hate Ironworks of Misery because everyone goes to that window. The handrails used to be problematic but at least BHVR broke those so killer can walk off while carrying someone.

I hate Blood Lodge because I don't like how pallets are almost always so close together where if you break one pallet the survivors are already safely at another one. It's not even the amount of pallets but how close in proximity they are from each other.

I hate all the Coldwind Farm maps because there are so many large loops next to each other some of them feel hopeless to play at times.

I hate groaning storehouse because everyone goes to the window loop in the center building.

I have complaints about other maps but I feel like I consistently have bad games on most of the maps I mentioned.

    As survivor

I guess the swamp maps? Can't really say any maps are an issue as survivor.

  • Personally my preference would be an escalating timer for each disconnect but also tell the players if they leave they will receive a penalty as a reminder. After each DC a timer would start on your account and after a week it resets but before that happens each time you DC it resets the timer and escalates the matchmaking timer.

    First DC = 1 minute
    Second DC = 5 Minutes
    Third DC = 15 minutes

This would stack indefinitely and it would get to the point where a ban wouldn't even be needed. If BHVR ever gets dedicated servers though they need a reconnect option for those with bad internet or for those who crash.

Are you getting a message while attempting to launch the game?

no it pops up when i i enter the game like when its loading the main menu

Oh okay my bad. Only thing I could find regarding that is players would restart steam to fix it. If you've already done that I wouldn't have a clue sorry. Good luck on figuring it out though.

I do like the voice though it reminds me of a those spirits from The Evil Dead.

  • All maps are free with update they're just chosen randomly. You can use a map offering to have a higher chance of getting them or pick them manually in a Kill Your Friends lobby.

    Uhm... no?

While I don't know for sure what it is and believe the Clown is fine balance wise iirc there's some bug regarding his addons that give him MS while reloading that's faster than normal movement speed. I'd assume that's what OP is talking about.

tbh it's probably not even a bug but more just an oversight.

  • @Acromio said:
    Leatherface requires way simpler changes.

    • A smaller terror radius
    • A reduction to the speed penalty he gets by revving the chainsaw OR a shorter charge time
    • His chainsaw attack changed so it doesn't stop after breaking a pallet
    • His acceleration stat fixed (it's currently bugged, making LF slower than he should be when he uses the chainsaw).

I can agree with most of these but why out of all the killers does Leatherface need a smaller terror radius? His power isn't exactly silent.

edit - Also that is a genuine question I know it comes off as a little sarcastic with how I worded it.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system
In the updated rules and Report System the above statement is listed in the Temp Ban Section for a temporary ban.
"Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience" That is very vague and not very descriptive of what that entails. It seems like many survivors are going to take being hooked a second time (due to a teammate making a bad save likely) as being targeted and ruining their game.

In the non-bannable offense section it states that tunneling is not a bannable or reportable offense. Just seeking clarification as the first statement feels like it is talking about tunneling to me.

tbh I've always hated this rule even though I won't personally have an issue with it. Seems like a rule to protect very specific players where it could easily be covered by other rules.

The only scenario I can imagine this taking place is meant to protect big streamers. If a survivor gets into a game with the same killer 5 times in a row what is the killer supposed to do ignore them?

The whole point of the perk would be to quickly get in and get out when unhooking someone when the gates are powered. Even with that in mind it still comes off as extremely weak so I'd imagine it would probably be better off being reworked into something else.

Hmm, it's still the same Perk, so it kinda defeats the purpose, but you did add something completely new, so i guess it still works. :p

To be honest I can't really imagine the perk keeping its function when borrowed time exists. The main thing I can see it doing is you are essentially moving to save someone quicker without exhaustion perks and you instantly pop them off the hook rather than the current animation.

I'm hoping people post better ideas for that perk because I want to see it be a good perk. Having an easy idea to smash might help people brainstorm.

Alert, Spine Chill, Stake Out, WGLF

The proper way to use it is only glance at your perks to see if they proc while doing gens.

  • The devs proposed changes made me start thinking about the same thing honestly. I'm going to be honest unpopular opinion here but I really don't like the idea of Freddy only seeing auras while survivors are awake and losing the aura when survivors are asleep. Freddy may be weak but one thing I like about him is I can be real chill while playing him and just go back to survivors as long as they somehow haven't woke up.

You have a similar idea I had except alongside gaining charges survivors could willingly go to sleep and wake up as it currently is. If Freddy hooked a sleeping survivor another survivor would have to be in the dream world to unhook them off of a dream world hook and if they were on a normal hook they would have to be awake. Same thing would go for healing although I know that's over the top and too complicated to even consider. Just brainstorming Freddy ideas though since I am not a fan of a few of the proposed changes.

Either way I agree with your suggestion and regardless again I hope Freddy gets a well deserved buff. Although the idea of Freddy going to dream world when stunned by a pallet only makes me think Freddy was put into coma through a heavy concussion by pallet to the head. Can't get that thought out of my head.

  • Just a small list

    1. Dedicated servers while retaining Peer2Peer for Kill Your Friends lobbies

    2. Lan Support for offline games in Kill Your Friends

    3. Workshop support for cosmetics and maps

    4. Experimental / Seasonal perks that are not tied to a character. Each season a new change would be tested and if favorable would be a permanent part of the game. If disliked would be immediately retired.

    5. Better spectator experience for Observer in Kill Your Friends for better tournament experience along with improvements to spectator in ranked matchmaking so those in post-game lobby can use chat while they're spectating. Additionally hide killer loadout in ranked matchmaking until all survivors have left the trial by escaping, sacrifice or death.

None of these would be immediate but it would be something I'd try to add based on community feedback.

  • I recently got this achievement but sometimes it didn't give me points when it should have or so I thought. I eventually started hook bombing survivors even if it got me killed just to get it out of the way. Main thing I noticed is the survivor had to be injured or I didn't get a point although that's probably just a coincidence. That and unless I took a hit within 5 or so seconds of unhooking the survivor I usually didn't get the point.

I'm assuming you are referring to this post that you looked up right?

    https://steamcommunity.com/app/381210/discussions/0/135511455868043980/#c135511455868806834

Either way I'm on the same boat as you. I honestly have no idea how to consistently get points for the achievement but I got it out of the way at least.

Disclaimer - I used BT and made sure all survivors I hook bombed lived at all cost even if I got sacrificed for it.

  • I've had this happen to me before and it's pretty annoying although I wouldn't want to see anyone banned over this as annoying as it is. Just put a cap on how frequent each totem can notify you and be done with it. Although I don't really see it happening enough to think it warrants a change. I have near 1000 hours and I've only had people do this to me in one game.

Personally I've tapped totems when TOTH was on the map to distract killer but I don't spam it. Tapping it almost always gets the killers attention.

For notification cooldown pretty much what Peanits said. Give each totem an individual timer on how frequent they can give a notification between 5-10 seconds.

Give me one Reason to buy this Chapter for Money. Ist only my opinion sry.

here is a reason: FREAKIN AWESOME KILLER PERKS
like, all 3 perks of her are sooo good. not a single "meh" or "okay" perk, they are all "good" and "great".

Sounds crazy but this is why I'm hesitant to buy the chapter. I don't care for the killer but her perks are good. Although I don't want to dump BP into her if her perks have a chance of getting nerfed. I don't think it's overpowered in anyway but I can honestly see Rancor getting the Mori part of the perk gutted just because survivors are going to complain that it's unfun or it just gets nerfed immediately after DS gets nerfed to "balance" things out.

  • I don't think it can happen solely based on the fact that Bill is exclusively for PC and there's a bunch of cosmetics only on PC like the charity pack or the other code only exclusives.

Personally I'm doubtful Sony would let it happen given their recent track record.

  • A good Nurse as in the ones who don't miss a single blink and always know where you are. I've only encountered 3 of them that play perfectly but it was an awful experience.

Also Hag, before a good Hag was annoying to deal with and bad Hag's were also annoying. With the recent buffs the good Hag players are awful to play against and the inexperienced Hag players got a huge boost to their performance. Hag can easily drag a game out longer than it needs to be to the point where I feel like suiciding on hook. I actually run Deja Vu now because of this killer. Not even because of myself but I swear my teammates always willingly fall into 3 gen so I always try to prevent that.

Main thing those two have in common is teleporting.

Killers I like playing against is Myers and Leatherface (When they don't camp). I find that Leatherface players who actually are always mobile have some of the most exciting chases.

Shoutout to Freddy not because he's strong but because he's annoying and unfun to play against.

  • Not good but not Freddy. Main thing I don't understand is why can't she see blood? It's not like that mechanic comes into play at the start of the trial. You still need to hit a survivor in the first place to see blood and considering she has slower MS it seems fair that she should be able to see blood. At least make the addon a lower rarity if it's going to stay an addon.

Her perks are 10/10 although perks doesn't = good killer.

  • Doesn't really seem that good overall to be honest. You need to unhook another person safely to even use it and using this perk pretty much ensures you are getting hooked at some point. Afterwards you can't heal for a minute so overall the perk is pretty meh. Doesn't hurt the killer too much either since for this perk to come into play they have at least gotten two fresh hooks by now.

In my honest opinion this perk should inform other survivors somehow that you have this perk available. So if it's really necessary you can unhook yourself without other survivors wasting time. Main reason I believe that is if you're in an SWF they know anyway but solo players to my knowledge won't know. At least if there's an indication of a survivor using this perk I haven't noticed it / and or am completely blind and missed it.

Either way I probably missed the thread but I'd be surprised if anyone actually thought the perk was worth replacing their normal builds outside of gimmicky builds.

  • I'd be cool with seeing Blood Warden built in but I'd question what replacement perk would Freddy get? Blood Warden would be good as a base mechanic though because SWF tend to ruin the entire aspect of this perk anyway. One survivor in an SWF gets eliminated and then they just tell their party the entire killer loadout. Then if someone gets downed as the gates are powered the survivors just 99 the gate until they see the hook notification.

  • I've spent $0 on auric cells and it will remain like that until a proof of purchase is added per cosmetics such as a receipt. Sure my steam client will indicate if I've made an in app purchase but I want a receipt on what exactly I'm purchasing. If that can't be added I won't bother with auric cells.

Main reason for this is while they seemingly have fixed loss of progress I don't want to risk losing stuff without proof of my inventory. If Leatherface, Myers or Freddy somehow get cosmetics though I'll probably cave but otherwise I wait.

  • Brand New Part nerf was necessary. Even though it's a rare occurrence starting a game and then 30 seconds later having 2-3 generators pop is awful. Because of that I'd often have a killer dodge the lobby if there was more than 2 toolboxes in the lobby. Personally I'd dodge if I saw 4 toolboxes because I got 4 man BNP'd one too many times when they were instant and if I don't have time to do anything I'm just not going to play with that lobby. There's no point.

It was also stupidly easy to power through HEX: Ruin with a BNP so the only option would be to locate a survivor before they reached a generator but if there's more than one of them you can't deal with all of them. I do like how BNP doesn't consume the toolbox now. I feel like a lot of high tier addons should be consumable without destroying the main item component just with slight nerfs. I also don't see the price of BNP's being unfair either because at high character levels it's stupidly easy to stockpile them.

Overall the changes to BNP were 100% justified and fair. I feel the same way about mori as well although I do feel Yellow Mori is kind of weak in comparison to the other two.

  • Main thing I don't like about Franklin's Demise is they changed it so abilities don't affect it. In the movie Franklin didn't die to a hammer he died to a chainsaw and lost grip of his flashlight that way. I get why they made it so you can't knock items out of survivors hands while they are on hook but the other change felt really unnecessary specifically for Leatherface. I never tried it on Huntress for example but that's the only instance I could maybe understand changing it but it should have had a range limit instead.

A nice compromise would be T3 enables abilities again but I am doubtful that happens.

  • My honest assumption on why it's taking so long to add Clown / Kate as profile pictures to the forums is BHVR is waiting for the next chapter so they can add the upcoming new killer / survivor as avatars as well to complete a row.

I would probably switch to Clown for my avatar though if it's added.

  • Ideally for Clown it would be nice to see some variations on stuff like face paint. He could get some cheap cosmetics similarly priced like the Doctor Eye cosmetics. An Uncle Sam outfit, variations on his body cosmetics such as overalls or differently colored variations of his current outfit in the shop.

No idea what kind of weapon variations he could get.

  • As survivor I'll say GG if I died but only if I know the game is going to last another 30 seconds or so. I don't bother staying if I end up getting picked off early because I'd rather just queue again. As killer I usually don't bother saying GG either I just leave and re-queue.

Personally I feel like the post game screen should indicate if players have left the lobby. At least to the host I don't know if there would be a point for other survivors to know. Possibly just a permanent message in the lobby chat that says "Player has left the lobby." or something along those lines when ever someone leaves. Similar to what happens when the host disconnects.

  • I'm not saying this was the killers reason but honestly if I get enough bad games and get a map I don't like instead of DC'ing I'll just proximity camp someone. Haddonfield is one of the maps that make me not want to play normally tbh. If that was their reason I don't blame them.

If I get camped by a killer I usually just assume it's because they are tilted rather than they just camp every game so I don't take it personally. Sucks you got camped but best thing is to just move on and forget it happened. Worst case scenario just suicide on hook and quickly queue again to avoid getting the same killer.

Just be lucky ur not on xbox. I heard people will give u salty bad rep points (or whatever idk I don't use xbox) and they ban u from playing online for a certain amount of time

Yeah pretty much. One of the reasons I stopped playing on the 360. Almost any popular multiplayer game eventually someone is going to bad rep you just for beating them. At the time I don't think reputation did much on the 360 but it was still annoying having a false or maliciously assigned rating given to you from some salty player. The only thing I recall or at least was told is during the time on the 360 it would put you in a pool of players that also had poor ratings. Although it sucks they kept the system as it is when you can be banned for it now.
