  • I'm doubtful you get banned but at the same time I wish BHVR punished people who abused the report system as a weapon. Doing nothing only enables their toxic behavior and allows them to keep using tools meant to discourage toxic behavior in a harmful way.

Either way I can sympathize. I've been threatened plenty of times with made up accusations just because a player was upset.

  • I keep thinking it's a placeholder but then remember it's not the PTB anymore. Looks a bit unfinished mid animation. Overall the older animation was better. When the Trapper set his traps by stepping on one end and using his arm on another that gave you an idea of how strong the trap was and made you understand the Trapper needs to use his body weight to set these things. You could easily argue that now it makes him looked ripped with his arms but it just doesn't have the same feel to it.

For the most part the first person animations don't look bad but the third person animations from the view of the survivors looks pretty bad. Looks like a bunch of frames are missing halfway through the animation when you watch Evan set his traps.

  • I didn't have any issues getting my hooks during the event using normal perks but I also stockpiled a bunch of Ebony Memento Mori's to use on survivors who even so much as looked at my event hooks. Needless to say almost every game I played during the event so far I mori'd most survivors. Sometimes I didn't even bother with the hooks and just mori'd everyone before they even got 2 gens done. I learned the hard way from the last event that it's everyone for themselves.

I don't feel bad about the mori abuse either because most of my games there was at least one person sabo'ing my event hooks.

I'd welcome an additional way for each side to get points as well. I don't know about survivors but I feel like if you manage to kill all survivors any unpowered event generators should go towards your tally. With event gens one of four survivors can just finish them but as a killer you have to be at that specific part of the map carrying a survivor at the right time. It's kind of annoying tbh.

Personally I'm not against survivors getting free Kindred as long as it doesn't show the killer. It does make sense to let them see other survivor auras though. At least in comparison to SWF.

You realize that's how kindred works if the killer camps the hook right?

I think so? What am I failing to understand here? To clarify I'm suggesting a compromise of adding Kindred Tier 2 to the survivor base kit. If I recall correctly only tier 3 shows killer aura. Although if I'm still failing to understand please clarify.

Regardless though if BHVR does add Kindred to the survivor base kit I'd like to know what their plans are for the actual perk afterwards.

  • Personally I'm not against survivors getting free Kindred as long as it doesn't show the killer. It does make sense to let them see other survivor auras though. At least in comparison to SWF.

  • I also took the time to get all the killer hooks out of the way on day one because I didn't want to deal with Sabo's. I saved up a bunch of Ebony's just to deal with anyone trying to sabo my event hooks. I probably used about 15 Ebony Mori's during the event for killer so far.

Still working on survivor though at least I don't have to personally finish the event gen. Got about 20 left for that but it feels like a chore.

  • Only killers I run NOED on is Wraith / Freddy and occasionally Leatherface but most of the time I only equip it when I see multiple tool boxes. If I had to pick something over NOED it would either be something to stall for more time or Dying Light and tunnel / Mori obsession. Although Make Your Choice is a good perk to replace it with because after that first hook you can easily snowball with it by finding the survivor unhooking people. Also note I only did that when BNP could 100% gens. Now I'm not even worried about that so I don't bother with NOED at all.

Although in general I don't use it because I only play Myers, Huntress and lately Clown.

Missing Healing skill checks and being healed out of dying shouldn't wake you up. What They could do is turn blood warden into a hex and make the duration last indefinitely until the hex is destroyed.Just make it trigger like NOED. Also disable the ability to heal and repair generators while in injured the dream world. You could also keep the survivor in the dream world when they're hooked and unhooked.

Initially I think I misunderstood your suggestion for Blood Warden but the main suggestion you are making is if a survivor is hooked when the conditions are met Blood Warden activates like normal except it's permanent and a HEX right? If I misunderstood could you clarify? Although I'm not a fan of HEX perks because most of the time they get cleansed before they get any use. Also here's the thing about making Blood Warden a HEX perk. How do you scale it if the time is infinite regardless? Each current tier of Blood Warden is scaled 30/40/60 seconds. Everything else about the perk is the same.

Personally my preferred change to Blood Warden would be making it retroactive so that if someone was hooked after the gates were powered the moment one opens it activates once they are between the two pillars near the exit trigger. That way it's not completely obvious and you get to see their aura. So Blood Warden won't proc even if both gates are open unless survivors walk in. So if they were camping the exit gates but not quite far enough in you could save time before activation and run them down.

I do somewhat agree on Freddy and self-care but I only agree with removing Self-Care (the perk) from the list of failed skillchecks that wake you up. I still believe medkits should wake up survivors and it makes sense with Quentin's Pharmacy perk. That's also easily dealt with using Franklin's Demise.

I do agree on being healed from dying to injured shouldn't wake you up. I definitely wouldn't want it reverted to Wake Up first then heal but what it is now is stupid and allows survivors to heal someone right in front of you with less risk. Although if Freddy could simply ignore awake survivors healing someone in the dying state and just pick up a dying state survivor ignoring heals that would be most preferred. For clarification on why I don't want the initial set of conditions for healing survivors brought back it was boring knowing all Freddy can do is slug people. I'd rather see him made viable in other ways.

    @Sally55 said:

Can you read? I said you could've prevented NOED from even triggering if you take the time to cleanse dull totems. That's why survivors cry so much about NOED in the first place. It's punishment for gen rushing instead of cleansing totems like they're supposed to do. I know i cleanse every totem i see when i play survivor. Maybe don't assume i only play killer?

To be honest thinking about the idea NOED is actually fair because even if you ignore the totem you have a chance to escape even if it means cutting your losses and leaving other survivors. With Blood Warden you could easily take the game hostage by camping the totem. Which would force survivors to suicide or find hatch if they have key or they are the last survivor alive.

Gen rushing with the possibility of NOED is something survivors should keep in mind but at least in that situation they have options. With Blood Warden it would be either hope the killer isn't camping the totem or die. Now obviously Blood Warden still has to proc but it still sounds awful to deal with when put in that situation.

Trapper gets screwed over super fast by people who know where his traps are!

Before 2.1.0 I'd definitely agree anything that lets you see his traps may be a bit unfair. However with recent buffs and also considering his traps respawn I don't see the harm in such a change to Detective's Hunch. After all to even benefit from the perk you need to personally be on the generator when it's finished to see the aura so at max you can only proc it 5 times.

  • @Thatbrownmonster said:
the problem I see with the aura of the jigasaw boxes is that it will cover a totem or more important things

I don't see that being an issue since Jigsaw boxes are roughly the same size as generators and for the most part that doesn't interfere with the perk. However it's not that big of a deal and again I do agree with your OP regardless. I'd just like to see the perk get some extra attention. It's quite exciting to see the recent changes so it gives me hope that more perks are going to get a second look later.

I'd be fine with adding killer traps to Detective's Hunch such as Jigsaw Boxes, Bear Traps and Phantasm Traps. I'd also be fine with extending the time by a few seconds. Right now to me the perk feels lack luster and I'd rather use small game personally since I don't need to finish a generator just to activate Small Game.

what is the purpose of seeing jigsax boxes though?

The main reason is consistency but it seems fitting anyways as Detective Tapp / Detective's Hunch is in the same chapter / DLC as The Pig. That is assuming I'm not forgetting something like them already being visible. The main reason to see them before a trap is on your head would be map information. Such as if you're getting chased you know where to run off to so you can avoid getting another survivor killed that is getting a trap off.

Although it's not necessary and I agree with the initial suggestion regardless.

  • I'd go half and half. Players abuse the report system knowing they can get away with it as nothing will happen. So they use it as a way to double down on their toxicity using it to threaten players who are unaware of the state of the report system. However the current iteration of the report system is lacking and has really vague rules or even what I'd call outdated rules that allow for the report system to keep getting abused.

I'd be all for punishing those who abuse it but I feel as though if the report system was in a state where it actually worked and had updated and sensible rules it wouldn't be abused as much. For example Unsportsmanlike Conduct shouldn't be a report category. Everything listed under that category could easily fill into other categories. However I see so many people file reports under Unsportsmanlike such as camping because it's a vague category that can be left to user interpretation.

Also to clarify I've seen so many people file a report under that category through YouTube and smaller streams.

Let's see how many positive things we can say about the whole Dead by Daylight experience and shy away from all this negativity for a change.

I've yet to see a single game on the market match the atmosphere this game has. The art team for this game does an amazing job. The killer designs in particular for this game are top notch.

    @Khalednazari said:
I don't why people say they don't feel scared anymore,
It does scare me most of the times, like whenever I hear a chainsaw revving up, or when a killer like myers or pig catches me off guard, and especially when I'm the last guy remaining, which happens most of the times with me since I hardly go SWF. So yeah, I love this game and it does give me a heart-attack sometimes.

After playing a game for at least 20 hours and understanding how the game mechanics work I can't see how anyone would be scared. It's more so players become desensitized to the game. For example the first time I've played Dead Space that game made me jump a lot and I was nervous to go around a corner as I didn't know what was going to happen. By the time I'd gotten to my 50th playthrough of the game I pretty much knew every possible scenario that would happen.

Although personally The Shape does get an occasional scare out of me.

  • What I consider proxy camping is hovering around a hooked survivor intentionally with intent to either one hook them or take advantage of someone going to unhook them. I occasionally do this when I'm having a rough game such as playing on Blood Lodge. If I'm going to be led through an acre of pallets the moment I leave the unsafe area with the hooked survivor I'm probably just going to leisurely hover around the current hooked survivor patrolling the area.

Regarding the term itself I've never heard anyone else actually use it. Proxy camping is just something my friends and I instinctively say as it's quicker than saying proximity camping.

  • What about instead of the killer picking what map they want to play on why not allow them to blacklist a map they don't want to play on?

  • @AshleyWB said:
Share your top 3 things which you think need improvement urgently more than anything else.

    1. Quality of Life adjustments to SWF that benefit killers such as hiding killer loadouts until all survivors have left the trial so loadout cannot be ghosted

    2. Rebalancing of older content although this is already in the works as shown by the last PTB.

    3. A complete overhaul or removal of the report system and clarification of the rules if it's kept. Punishment for those who abuse it such as repeatedly reporting for camping and removing the body blocking from list of reportable offences. Too many times I see a survivor BM a Hillbilly / Leatherface post game complaining they were body blocked into a corner and couldn't move as they are downed with a chainsaw and threaten the killer with reports because of it stating it's against the rules. Even with this being a minority the placebo effect of the current state of the report system empowers these people to keep waving around the report system like they have authority.

For the most part though I think the devs are doing a good job as of lately so I'll trust their judgement in future updates. I just hope eventually they revisit these issues.

As far as I'm aware Soul at Stake's bleed out timer is incredibly shorter than Dead By Daylight's. Though my ideal inbuilt Mori would be available at the Exit Gate area, punishing cocky survivors and perhaps giving Blood Warden an indirect buff.

Mori at the exit area would be fine although the issue is most of the time the survivor can easily just sit at the edge of the exit zone and as soon as you hit them they just fall out of the trial. Although for Blood Warden yeah that would definitely be a buff.

Although speaking of Blood Warden personally I'd like to see mori proc blood warden so if you executed a survivor and the gates were open you could block off the exit gates.

  • @Amanda55 said:
Bring back the ability to mori any survivor without offerings. It would make survivors take the killer seriously again.

Personally while I'm not too supportive of instant mori's I would like to see buffs such as the hook requirement being removed if the exit gates are powered for green / pink mori. I know anyone could easily argue survivors have it too good but I feel like going down first and being removed from the game right off is kind of unfair.

I know it was already mentioned but Soul at Stake's executions are available if a survivor bleeds out to 30% or something like that. Dead by Daylight having a similar feature would be interesting.

  • @Mercury said:
Whenever you heal other survivors you keep the scraps, for the potential time in need. Healing other survivors grants 30%/40%/50% of the progression meter that you healed in scraps to you, filling up a small bar. Using a medkit on others grants you 100% of the scraps. This bar can be used as a medkit of it's own at 50% the healing speed and only goes as far as the meter allows. When it's depleted you need to heal other survivors to refill the meter.

I like the idea but I'm just imagining a Claudette ripping the flesh off another survivor to heal herself with. Anyways question but would the charges you get for self-care be affected by Botany Knowledge?

  • I'm not a big fan of the theme the game Soul At Stake has but admittedly I like how killers can execute survivors when they are below a certain bleedout percentage. Also all killers have the option to teleport to shrines which is another thing I thought was interesting with how they executed it.

Aside from that I liked how everyone is in third person and survivors camera position always stayed to where their character is facing. Not saying anything about the state of the game but seeing these mechanics in another very similar game makes me wonder what DBD would be with these features. Specially the mori thing.

  • Survivor: Escaping / Spawning next to killer hex totem
Killer: 3k / Killing that one survivor who brought a flashlight / Killing everyone except David

You make a great point. Admittedly while I forgot about console as I don't play on them that's kind of shows there isn't many options available for a giveaway that's fair to everyone.

For console owners is there a way to link your ID Tag to third party services at all to show stats out of curiosity?

Personally I doubt they are bots. However I can't imagine any other way BHVR can do a giveaway.

If they make the giveaway only eligible to those who have let's say 10 post then you're going to see a lot of users making post just to increase their post count. If you make it based on karma that has potential to be have a number of side effects like having groups make accounts just to give each other karma constantly. I get that it sucks that some users who do contribute quite frequently aren't winning over someone who just made an account specifically for the giveaway but I'd rather it be this way than there be some arbitrary requirement other than being a member that has a negative impact on the forums.

However for future giveaways I wouldn't be against being required to link your forum account to your steam account as a way to prove you own Dead by Daylight. That way there's no arbitrary requirement on the forums and you know they at least would have purchased DBD at some point for that specific account. Although if that route is taken I'd like the option to have it so that only moderators can see your steam account.

  • Varies from a 6 - 8 out of 10 although even on my best days I can't confidently recommend this game to any of my friends without feeling guilty they would experience this games worst issues and feel awful.

Content wise I have no complaints. Game has a lot to offer from maps, killers, survivors and loadouts although it's a bit on the grindy side and the game can get a bit expensive unless you invest in the game over time or buy the DLC during a sale. The only thing I could ask for content wise would be steam workshop support for maps, cosmetics and other things. Even official and community dedicated servers would be great that support alternative gamemodes and even mods. Aside from that though BHVR can keep doing what they're doing content wise to support the game.

Balance in this game could be better. I won't say much about this because I won't really be adding much that hasn't been said already and BHVR is improving the game as of lately. Although the upcoming Tinkerer change feels like it should be a Surveillance change instead. I understand why they would want to change it but I don't agree with their proposal. Either way I'll wait for the PTB to see what comes from it. Although overall the balance for this game is above average compared to most games but has glaring issues BHVR is at least aware of.

The negatives I have for Dead by Daylight that exclude the above is pretty much...

    1. No filter / mute options so I have to deal with BM or disable chat even if it's just 1 out of 4 players being rude. I'm not a sensitive person but it takes its toll on me seeing the N word for the 5th time in a row in a single day even if it isn't directed at me.
    2. Survivors can ghost killer loadout to other survivors if they Die, Escape or even DC to post game lobby.
    3. Survivors can DC to give the final survivor instant access to hatch instead of the delay they would have if the second to last survivor was sacrificed.
    4. Large amount of bugs this game has including loss of progress and lack of proof of purchase for in app purchases. I can't even backup my own saves manually now so I have to worry that I won't lose my stuff if their servers crash somehow. If it ever did I'd have no proof of stuff I bought in app with shards or cells.
    5. Lack of dedicated servers.
    6. Now lack of a report system although from my understanding it was abused so they disabled it.
  • In my opinion Spine Chill shouldn't work against Wraith if he's cloaked and Pig if she is using ambush but that's the only thing I'd change between all the perks mostly for consistency purposes with Myers EW1. For Wraith it wouldn't change much because you can still clearly see when he's coming from a distance although for The Pig it would be a modest difference.

Not sure if Freddy should be changed at all regarding the perks though. Also my opinion isn't based on are these perks too strong but more so the balance of the killers. Even if Spine Chill was adjusted based on stealth killers it would still be a decent perk. No comment on premonition though as I don't use it.

Between the two perks though Spine Chill is a passive while premonition you have to rotate your camera. Main thing about premonition is there is room for error on pinpointing the location of the killer if you don't immediately see them and you're just panning your camera to try and activate it. With Spine Chill the only thing you need to do is glance at your icon and know you are in the killer FOV. That's mostly the reason I'd adjust Spine Chill over Premonition.

  • While I know it won't happen if I had to choose specific characters I would choose Brad Vickers as survivor since I believe he was the pilot in RE1, he's dead in RE2 and appears in RE3 being killed. The character is designed as being a coward so it would be more fitting than any of the other survivors.

For the B.O.W. as the killer we would need a humanoid figure so the choices range from RE1's Albert Wesker post-death after Tyrant when he revives or Mr. X/T-00 from RE2. Nemesis would be too strong as a killer although from what I recall he has the parasite that allows him to be controlled so the entity could be controlling that I guess.

Ideally a Resident Evil chapter would feature the mansion from the first game although in scale that would probably be too big and confusing so Raccoon City themed with Umbrella stuff would be pretty cool kind of like Resident Evil 3's map.

    Just my two cents.

I would have said a killer that can throw or block paths by creating a barrier or wall but Clown somewhat fits that description now.

Edit - Did I misunderstand OP? Was this about actual killer powers or just general stuff all killers can do?

May be a little op at first, but everything can be tweaked!

That's why I suggested switching between modes rather than having both available at the same time. Anyone whose good at Huntress would feel right at home with a killer that has essentially unlimited ammo and gets a free hit every time they use their power. With switching they would gain distance on someone but they'd have to switch using 1-2 seconds giving survivors a small window of time to react.

  • I saw the game before in some sort of ad somewhere but never really thought of it until I saw the Halloween DLC then I immediately bought it. I'm a fan of Asymmetrical games and horror games so this was a pretty straight forward choice for me.

When/if we ever get dedicated servers...dodging will hurt way less.

yeah.  I am hoping for dedicated servers.  normally would say I don't see this happening 2 years in, but if they want to get into the esports arena they need to do dedicated servers in my opinion.

If Behavior wants to get into any kind of Esports at all they need to improve the viewing experience by adding a better spectator mode. An improved UI specifically for spectator mode, a free cam and a camera that locks onto characters at a larger distance would be some good additions for that. Even a picture in picture mode or an easier way for the broadcaster to capture two camera positions at once would be great.

I could just be getting a bad impression from the recent tournament but I'm admittedly spoiled from DotA2's spectator mode so I have semi-high expectations for any other game trying to do esports.

  • @Russ76 said:

yes, but what happens when there is a flashlight in the chest.  just because someone doesn't carry it in doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepped for it.  as soon as I get Franklin's Demise as a teachable, I am going to run it on my killers.

The main reason to prepare with Overwhelming Presence, Lightborn or Franklin's is if multiple people bring items at once. One person isn't a big deal but 4 survivors who immediately have items can be problematic. At least with them getting it out of the chest they first have to find it, get the item and unless they brought perks that will give them bonus stuff from the chest like Ace in the Hole the item they get won't have ridiculously strong addons. So already with that item in the chest it won't be super strong unless they sacrificed perk slots for that benefit. Also without an offering there won't be 4 items in the game assuming no one brought anything in the first place. It also takes time to search chest which is beneficial to the killer.

I do get the problem though. Some killers don't want to play against items at all and some dodge because last second switchers. It's hard to find a balance for the problem.

  • The preferable solution would just be lock survivors in at 10 seconds and give the last 10 seconds for the killer to make last second changes to their loadout. That way if they try to quick switch to something else at the last second you could equip the proper loadout to deal with it.

I don't agree with an increased time penalty over this as annoying as it is. Although I can sympathize that a lot of people have been asking for a solution for this for a long time. Same as wanting to disallow survivors from seeing the killers loadout at the post game screen and then ghosting it to people still in the game. Also how survivors DC in the loading screen if they see a hidden offering because clearly it's a mori.

  • I'm hoping BHVR adds a new report system in the future. Ideally one where game related bans and chat bans are separate. That way there can be no hesitation for punishing chat abusers and the more serious offenses can be reserved for game bans. Also some sort of system in place where they can prohibit people from using the report system if they abuse it would be nice. Such as reporting someone for camping would get you a week restriction from the system.

Although if they're going to not use their report system at all they could at least get rid of it. The placebo effect of having an unusable report system in game does nothing. I admit a need for the report system isn't urgent but I'm getting a little tired of seeing racial slurs in my chats which have been getting more frequent. Yeah I can disable chat but that solution is just punishing the rest of the people in the lobby for one person being awful.

Also to the user who said racial slurs are not bannable here is an older thread. You could argue whether it's even relevant now but they had it in mind when writing the rules.

  • I can live with the average commentary but there's quite a few moments where the stream starts dropping frames. Also personal peeve but their music is quite obnoxious compared to the tone Dead by Daylight has but again personal peeve.

Also I don't find watching a tournament of DBD too different or interesting compared to a normal Dead by Daylight stream because there's seemingly no special camera mode for people specifically in the spectator role. It's just the same as being dead in a normal game. Would be cool if there was a free cam for the spectator role or a picture in picture mode where we could see two perspectives at once.

Before I forget they could also reduce the amount of sponsors that are shown on screen. Half the screen is an overlay and it's more annoying than anything.

I could be acting petty about it but I personally don't need to be reminded what tournament I'm watching on the screen when it's the title of the twitch stream. I'm not intentionally trying to hate on the stream but for future tournaments maybe take this as constructive criticism on improving the viewer experience.

  • Do you mean like linking certain mori's to certain offerings like you have a certain mori equipped for the yellow, green or pink mori?

If BHVR ever adds different execution animations as choices in game I'd like a way to choose which one I use on the fly instead of being restricted to one at a time per game. That way I can mori people the way I see fit that's perfect for the occasion.

Either way yes I'd totally be all for new mori animations. Even workshop support for user mori animations would be a welcome addition.

  • I do agree with removing post game steam names as you can't even report players so it has no purpose. Also the thing about recent players on steam is for some reason killers cannot see survivors on the list so I don't understand why survivors can see other players.

edit - To clarify on my post about post game steam names I mean clicking on names to go to profiles. I personally have no issues with the actual chat

  • Between all the licensed killers it's hard to choose a favorite but overall Myers is my favorite because he has a diverse selection of ways to play compared to other killers.

If I want to be more competitive I pick Huntress. Although lately I've been having a lot of fun with The Clown although I don't know if he replaces any of my go to's in the roster.

  • The primary issues with Freddy is the most common perks counter him and it takes too long to bring survivors to the Dream Realm. The most commonly suggested solutions even in this thread is rebalance Self-Care or remove Self-Care from the list of failed skillchecks that wake up survivors. The long transition time is another issue and I feel as though by default the sleep transition time should be adjusted to 5 seconds instead of 7 seconds. I know it isn't a major change but it could make a difference just for initial testing.

If the suggested 5 seconds instead of 7 is agreed on his addons could be changed as well.

Sheep Block - Reduced Transition time from 0.5 to 1 (Common Addon)
Green Dress - Reduced Transition time from 0.5 to 1 (Uncommon Addon)
Cat Block - Reduced Transition time from 1.5 to 2 (Uncommon Addon)
Unicorn Block - Reduced Transition time from 1.5 to 2 (Rare Addon)
Class Photo - Dream Transition penalty increase changed from 2 to 1.5 (Very Rare Addon)

Note - This is not the full effects of all the addons. I only listed the transition time of the addons because that's the only thing I suggested be changed.

Overall that would make him far less addon dependent than what he currently is. Slightly reduce the default sleep transition time and slightly increase the effect the weaker addons have. That way even starting out if you manage to get a Sheep Block which is a common addon on your bloodweb you now have a 4 second sleep transition.

There are a few quality of life changes he could receive like not being blinded by dream world fog or not attacking awake survivors priority over survivors in the dream realm but anyone else can cover that better than I could.

Anyways just my opinion but I'm hoping regardless of what BHVR does he gets a well deserved buff.

  • I'd love an additional objective as survivor at the start of the trial. Unless I'm either the first one found or I intentionally look for the killer by the time the killer finishes their first chase and finds me about 2-3 generators are already popped. So there's a small chance I get camped either because the killer has to or because they're frustrated due to lack of time in the trial.

Nothing outrageous but maybe some sort of power grid that needs to be enabled for all the generators on the map to be enabled. Kind of like how the exit gates are powered they would be located on the edges on the map on some circuit breaker.

  • Overall I don't have fun as Freddy or playing against Freddy. He's countered by the most used perks in the game more than anyone else and if you down someone people can heal them right in front of you if you haven't slept them. He's pretty dependent on the addons that lower sleep transition time more than he should be.

I don't really know what I can suggest for him aside from starting from scratch because his design is nothing but frustrating and I feel as though no matter what he won't be fun for both sides if it's just adjusting his current iteration. The only thing he can do is cut off a survivors escape route while they're being slept for the first time if they don't initially see Freddy and even so it's easy to run to a pallet.

  • The pink shirt alone on Ace + his default head (without hat) and the dress pants actually look pretty nice. A lot of David's cosmetics look pretty good even excluding the shirtless cosmetic.

Most of the cosmetics that interested me are for the killers though and it's hard to pick a favorite although I'd say the Doctor's cosmetic sets were clear winners. Almost all of them are 10/10 material.

Main thing about the Doctor's weapon cosmetics is that it's disappointing to find out his bats don't make alternative sounds when they hit a survivor. Especially the aluminum bat not making a ting noise when you hit a survivor with it.

Although for the killers the only thing I really want is Robert Englund Freddy and the alternative outfits Bubba wore in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies. Bubba (Leatherface) wore a suit + alternative mask in the first movie at the end and he had about 3 different outfits in the second movie even though it was a spin off I still want them. There's nothing else I really want aside from that.

So we all know in what position the Wraith is right now, and I thought of a pretty good buff since his power is pretty bad (You can see him with no problem whatsoever). I thought that instead of seeing his silouette when he is invisibile, you can't see it anymore, and you can only see the grass move and hear his grunts. What do you think? I played many matches with him at high ranks, but I am seen too quickly to get anywhere near those survivors.

I somewhat support the idea but I'd like to see it to where Wraith was completely invisible until maybe within 12 meters or so and then you could see the shimmer fade in. It still wouldn't change much but it's better than him being able to be seen far enough away even while invisible.

    -total invisibility
    -buff to his uncloak speed

    • built in windstorm
-let him move through the obstacles at 90% of his speed while cloaked

    Boom, a viable killer

So walk through pallets? What would happen if Wraith tried to uncloak while ontop of a pallet?

  • As much as I'd love Jack Torrance in this game I feel like him not being able to talk would be an injustice against the character. Overall though The Shining is one of my favorite movies so I'd love to see the hotel and Jack make an appearance. Although even with that in mind what would his power even be?

Personally I'd love to see The Candyman make an appearance but again it's the situation of what would his power be? Although he could get away with not talking as much compared to the other killers.

  • I'll probably buy everything I want with money.

I'm hoping everything bought through the store regardless of currency or playtime is reflected on your steam account as a purchase so there is proof you bought something if you somehow lose it. Whether it be listed as DLC or shown in your steam inventory.

  • One of my favorite go to perks is Alert if that is considered off-meta. Sometimes it will just give away a killers position when I'm unsure where they're currently at because they broke a pallet or regressed a generator. The fact that the aura stays active for 6 seconds is probably why it's one of my favorite perks. I usually use it with Spine Chill. I haven't tried Alert with Open Handed yet but I'm unsure if I need to since Alert already has such a large distance.
