I love wraith, he was my first killer. I do feel like he could use a little buff though
-
I feel like every game I'm in a corn field, I'd happily welcome this change!
-
I mean the Devs did tell us to play Nurse or billy if we want to win

For real though, She's my only answer to SWF so I'm slowly becoming a nurse main at this point.
-
They're probably working on it to include it in the 2.5 patch.
As for your idea that Devs Favor killers, The Opposite is true... I don't know how you could think otherwise. -
I never disconnected, I have a lot of bad games but usually if the games gone so far downhill I just end up messing around instead, No point getting myself all worked up and they end up escaping anyway. at least this way i get to have a little bit of fun too.
-
Kicking gens wouldn't have done much for him here, the group knew what they were doing, they would have just swapped between who's being chased and who's doing the gens.
Most games I play get at least 2 gens done before my first hook unless I play Nurse, but 4 damn that's tough. The survivors did nothing wrong, the problem is with the game itself.
If staying in a chase for 2 minutes is too long, when do you give up? 1 minute, 30 seconds? The amount of time it takes to catch and down a survivor on a lot of the other killers is nowhere close to the amount of time it takes to do gens. -
Jesus I can only guess how fast that'd be
20 seconds or something? -
Best:
Mother's Dwelling - Very fun to play onWorst:
Coldwind Farm - That Corn is a nightmare to see trough with killers FOV -
I agree games can be done very quickly.
There's a lot of this 'get good' mentality on the forums so be prepared to be told that any issues you have if it be Gen times or SWF is just because you're not a good killer and you should be on par with rank 1s. -
All they need to do is reduce the length and abundance of corn. Kind of how they're changing the grass in swamp.
-
It's the a core mechanic of how the game is designed, It's how survivors have a chance to evade the killer.
Yes it gets stale after a while of playing killer but Unless a new game mode were to come this is how things are.
-
Like Myerinodudd said, both scratch marks and audio are bugged which are the main things spirit uses.
I play spirit a lot but i've had to bring stridor if i want to play her now, It's so hard to hear anything. I wish we had the option to adjust in game sounds separately, Chase music just messes her up at the moment. -
I've noticed that some killers for me get me a lot more stressed than others, Some you really have to put a tonne of effort into so it can be hard to relax or even have fun playing them.
Try find a killer who you don't need to focus on too much, It's helped me. -
Cosmetic Grinding is fine, Shard prices are a bit high but hey it's a free currency you earn.
The Real Currency prices however are insanely high for what you get in my opinion.
Thankfully I play Killer so the only cosmetics I actually see is the weapon so I've never even considered buying cosmetics. -
From a Business standpoint I get why the Game and the Devs are more favorable of the Survivors, They need 80% of the player base to be survivors after all. But It does suck that Killers get the short end of the stick, Personally I find survivor repetitive so I stick with Killer but lately I've been finding myself playing 1 maybe 2 matches a day before I get fed up and close the game.
-
I mean they need a reason for Cannibal to sell, It's literally the only reason I bought the DLC but would be nice to have it in the shrine once in a while for those that don't want or can't get the DLC.
-
This thread had me thinking, if the game only needs 20% of players to play Killer at any given time to have full games and wait times for survivors are taking this long, I wonder how many players are actually playing killer.
It wouldn't surprise me since I almost exclusively see people playing survivors on the twitch DBD game page. and the fact that Killer for me I could only play a few games of since it can be very draining sometimes where as survivor is less work and more re-playable.

Don't really care for the outfits since I player none of those characters but I'm excited to see the added objective! After how the Hallowed Blight event really hurt the game's balance, I'm personally not excited for the new objective at all.
This seems a little different, you get points for playing normally as well as the new objective which is for survivor and for killer this time.
The Entity adds 2 Lunar Vessels to the Trials by default. Survivors can pick them up and escape the Trial with them to earn points towards Golden Coins. When a Killer hooks a Survivor, all Vessels become corrupted temporarily and any Vessel carried by a Survivor is returned to its starting point. While the Vessels are corrupted, the Killer can destroy them for points towards Golden Coins. The number of generated Vessels can be increased by using the Red Envelope Offering that was already obtainable during the Howling Grounds Event of 2018.
Players can find and burn the Red Envelope, calling upon The Entity for additional Vessels, up to a total of 7 Lunar Vessels.
The gathered Points will be used to fill the Moon, which will then be turned into a Golden Coin, with which one can unlock the Moonrise Cosmetics for up to 9 outfit pieces.

Is it actually a bug? Has there been an official statement from someone on the team? I just assumed it was because there was more survivors playing than killers since I've noticed my lobbies as Killer have gotten a lot quicker.
-
Yes!
He could use his bees like a combination of docs madness and the circling crows to track survivors -
I thought it was going to be today but I guess not, Maybe tomorrow? I don't know but I hope it's not at the same time as the Event since that's expected at the end of the month.

Deleting is not the solution but yes, there needs to be something done for this map. After the update, everybody started to talk about scratch marks but as a killer I didn't notice anything. So I ignored this new map and scratch marks problem until I played this map. It is so bad, I mean really really bad, they need to do something asap.
Also, I experience FPS drops in this map as a survivor too. I don't understand it though. What is the difference in this map that causes me to drop FPS but not other maps?
My Guess is it's the snow, I'm not sure how it's done in DBD but in other games things like this usually can cause FPS Problems.
-
I always thought it was a bug but I guess If the person has been Unhooked they get a few seconds of invincibility. The past few weeks this has happened to me a lot, I swing for the person doing the unhooking and no damage to either of them even though my blade goes trough them. (and nope no borrowed time timer either).
-
Would probably be very hard on Trapping killers
-
I have to agree with you, Nowadays I don't even play to kill, I just do my dailies and close the game.
I used to love playing Killer, It felt like the survivors where actually afraid of you, Hiding or running at the sight of you. But now, that fright factor is gone. For a good SWF you're basically their play thing. -
Goes both ways, If you want to remove strong killer add ons then strong survivor add ons should be considered too.
-
Don't really care for the outfits since I player none of those characters but I'm excited to see the added objective!
-
I think we've got enough Knifes and Saws, I wouldn't be mad at more Claws but what I really want is some kind of effect like Fire or something.
-
Ruin is not OP, It's a totem perk. Any Totem perk can easily be destroyed from the entire match by simply cleansing the totem. Trust me, I run it to try slow down the game and it's gone within the first minute.
The only time ruin has actually worked for me is when I was a newer player going against people who didn't know to take out the totem, or if it was in a really good hiding spot which is like 0.0001% of the time. -
I'm sure the character design team could make him in a way where it wouldnt look to silly, I'd love a vampire killer. Bat form traverse the map would be amazing.
Oh someone triggered a crow? Nope it's the killer coming
-
Like a super Lunge? That'd be nice.
I'd say making powers is very difficult to do in the rules and balance of the game.I'd love a werewolf inspired killer who could go between 2 legs, Attacking with front claws and 4 legs for fast movement to chase or traverse the map.
-
I had to buy Leatherface just for this reason, As soon as I was far enough away the person would be rescued. At least now If I see an Aura on BBQ I'll know where to go and if I don't I just assume they're waiting nearby to get the safe save and I'll patrol the area since more often than not that's the case.
I'd never face camp but if you don't see any auras you kind of are forced to patrol the area, It's the logical thing to do. Don't feel bad for 'Camping' in this sense, If you were to leave every hook immediately every time, you'd be willingly going against the goal of the killer.
-
This is a terrible Idea, People would just DC instead.
Removing a needed feature to combat a small problem isn't the way to go.What if I load up a Lobby and something happens IRL that I can't play the game?
What If someone's ping is insanely High?
What if I simply change my mind and don't want to play a game yet?Seems very illogical.
-
As a more casual player I can say that facing SWF over and over does make me want to stop playing. At this point I just play to do my daily and that's it.
I can see how not being able to tell anymore and having a SWF games one after the other is going to drive a lot of Killers away from the game. -
If your using the shape in that scenario, Try stalking them while they're on the gen, 3 people on a gen get it done pretty fast but you should have enough time to stalk all three until they're exposed.
Grouped up survivors are also good for cannibal since he can down multiple with his chainsaw, but that's a lot easier said than done. -
If I manage to win I always let the last survivor get the hatch, no fun in hunting it down to do a stand off.
more than once i've been called a noob for doing this

I've had to close the chat, It's a shame because sometimes there's good games and it's fun to talk post chat about what happened but almost every other game I got taunted/mocked/cussed out no matter how I played even if I won or lost.
This communities got a lot of bad eggs and since There's no block feature, disabling chat is the only way around those messages. -
If you're the last survivor and you've been downed, You're going to die anyways unless you wiggle off which rarely happens so I guess i could get behind this idea.
-
9 I believe, an outfit for Feng, Ace and Huntress.
-
There's no real way to combat deranking.
Base it on playtime, That'd be a whole big mess since skill level does not equal time played.
Base it on any gameplay aspect, people will just fail at the tasks required and derank. -
Since reaching purple ranks, No. It gets found immediately.
from rank 20-10 It was useful because it slowed the game down a little. -
I hate the game on nurse, I'm constantly going between floors accidentally. I have to aim at the ceiling so that i don't head down which makes blinks hard to judge.
-
Some of the replies in here, wow.
Play how you want but if you're playing to piss the killer off like you say because you think that's what makes the game fun, don't whine when you're tunneled or camped.
I wish this game had a block button for this exact reason. People like you stop new people from playing killer but You do realize you need a killer to actually play the game? -
I just wish theyd bring the closing the hatch. They decided not to go with it because once closed, it's essentially a game of hide and seek that could last however long. I dont know why they didnt do a aura read of the last survivor once hatch is closed to get past this since doing a gen if it was closed would give your location away anyway.
This way it's a run for the hatch as a last attempt escape/Kill. -

I think alot depends on what killer you are using.
Some get looped to death.
Very true, The killers I like to play are the ones who get looped for days, which is unfortunate.
-
As frustrating as it is, Toxic SWF will sometimes make mistakes that you can take advantage of because of their confidence against the killer. There's a few perks that help make it less painful to play like enduring, lightborn and brutal strength but Other than that, SWF as a whole has no real way to counter, if played right Everyone in the group knows where you are, If you've placed any traps, what pallets you've broken, where your totems are once one survivor has seen it and when to hide.

I'd love for Doc's illusions/aura to be built in, It'd help him a lot.
