  • I dont have any problems with the server here on regards to latency or anything, but recently (after the last chapter was launched, or maybe coincidence) I'm getting disconnected every single day I play the game at least once. It wasn't like this just recently. What was changed exactly? I'm connecting from Brazil. The times I'm getting disconnected there is no change to the connection or to stea

  • We're currently capped at 4 perks, this sucks for a variety of reasons. Certain perks are more or less required in order to compete in the lowest ranks, as well as higher ranks. This includes DS to prevent consistent tunneling, Pop/Ruin to slow down gens, etc. A vast majority of the perks (mostly for survivors) currently aren't used in most builds, due to them requiring multiple perks in order

  • I have just begun to play Myers, for about a week. It appears the tombstone addon does not work when Myers grabs someone out of a locker, from a pallet and I just had a case where I got a hit at the exit gate barrier and it didn't trigger and the survivor got away. Myers probably needs reworking anyway, but his most popular addon should always work if I manage to grab a survivor and have reach

  • Okay, a bit controversial topic but here we are. Both Keys and Moris are stupid for their own reasons. However reworking them without touching the core concept is possibly the ideal situation. Which is what i'm trying to do. Hopefully i do achieve this goal with these reworks but we'll see :) -- THE KEYS -- General Changes: Hatch Mechanic: Upon using The Key on The Hatch, Survivor e

  • Just as in Bloodlust, it is one of the mechanics that may no longer be necessary for the game in 2020. As a killer, I do not want to miss the attack because of the mechanic.

  • Adding additional sounds and VFX to the gens was unnecessary and is very annoying when fixing gens. Fiddling with Bloodlust wasn't necessary. Instead fix tunneling, camping, solo vs SFW balance and too long looping, that is till possible in many situations, especially against M1 killers and with second chance perks.

  • Title. Would it radically shake up meta builds and gameplay? absolutely. is that a bad thing? not necessarily. This community is prone to complain 'bout all sorts of changes to the gameplay, so we might as well give it a try.

  • It's ridiculous that you still can dodge a Trapper trap with dead hard in 2020. Removing that ability will be a pretty good buff to Trapper.

  • I believe survivor Rift quests often encourage bad behaviour that negatively impacts the teamwork survivors are meant to have between each other. Two examples I can think of at the top of my head are the totem cleansing and "risk" quests. The totem cleansing quests encourage survivors to run around cleansing dull totems instead of helping out the team. It is always frustrating to see someone wit

  • Honestly though. Literally every indoor map sucks ass. Never met a single person that likes an indoor map.

  • I just got this idea, what if SFTS didn't alert Crows, like Calm Spirit does, I think that could be really good for stealth Killers. (Other than Wraith)

  • It sucks to die in the first 5 mins and have to sit and wait for your friends to finish surviving. I think it would be cool if survivors turned into a ghost of sorts and could run around. Maybe they could make noises to distract the killer, or put down fake scratch marks or something. Even if they couldn’t do anything, it would still be good to be able to run around. Thank you for reading :)

  • I rank up every day and it just gets bland, I go down a rank have nothing I go up a rank and have nothing. There's like nothing to get when you have rank 1. It's just constant killers/survivors with no actual reward for what you're doing.

  • I feel like it should be harder to lose pips, or at least easier to gain pips. I lost a pip & and rank from a glitch I had in a trial and I’ve had to play 10-15 trials to gain one pip back, even after having some really good few games. Once I finally got the one pip back, I had one trial with a killer who wouldn’t stop following me and basically instantly killed me, making me lose the pip I

  • Right now all survivors are interchangeable with teachable perks, any survivor can use any build. How about balancing the game a bit and give survivors ultra rare add-ons like killers have? So Claudette could have something like ultra fast heals or Nea could have no exhaustion balance landing. Give the survivor add-ons which are specific to their unique Perks. It could make the game more interest

  • So i just went in a game, started doing a gen and one of my teammate disconnects 10 seconds later the second and 5 seconds later the third so the match gets cancelled... but I'm the one losing a pip? How does this work and why does it work like this, why do I get punished for having mates that dc?

  • If this "test" becomes true, killers such as Bubba will have to give up chases more often and survs without looping skills will be so happy I believe this is so bad for the game mechanic, change my mind PS: and yet again a feature that almost none asked for and some DBD product owner came up with?!?!

  • Bloodlust isn't the problem. Against players of equal skill it comes down to who can force the error on the other side. No the problem is and always will be matchmaking. Putting green ranks against purple or red ranks just means that the more inexperienced player will lose. Bloodlust helps the inexperienced deal with the more experienced players just a little bit. It may win some chases but it

  • I hate to see the same DH, DS, Corrupt every game on the same survivor/killer, I would want some variety on each survivor and killer I go against. And then the broken perks like Object of Obsession, maybe even WGLF? They are just miserable to go against.

  • Everyone pretty much knows how much of a disaster the new killer is on PTB. So much so that they are making changes. While i understand that is the point of the PTB to test things and i think it is great. The problem i have is not just with the new killer being "bad". That is to be expected that it isn't necessarily well balanced to start with. The problems with the killer are pretty numerous

  • So, a big point of contention right now is the fact that, compared to SWF, Solo Q get's very, very little information, which can lead to Solo's often getting destroyed. These are by no means original ideas, just some things I've seen brought up. For one, have a totem counter. Whether it be a simple number counter, or having five totem icons somewhere on the UI. Honestly, I would make Kindred

  • I am so tired of grinding my ass of so I can have good perks. I have to buy a whole caracter with 9000 shards because oh look, enduring is in the shrine 3 weeks in a row. The fact that you NEED some perks at red ranks to do well and then having those perks locked behind a pay wall is frustrating. Thank you for coming to my rant.

  • Bloodlust: For every 15 seconds a killer spends outside of a chase or not attacking survivors, gain 0.2 m/s movement speed boost, and All effects of bloodlust are lost once the killer enters a chase or attacks. Bloodlust is no longer gained if there is only 1 survivor remaining in the trial. This way, bloodlust is repurposed for aiding killers in traversing the map to find survivors, and doesn't

  • It's been said over and over, so what else can I add? But here it is anyways. The sweeping killer victim complex that permeates every single conversation is a result of the targeted efforts of coordinated squads bent on destroying the foundations of the game, and they're always let go with a slap on the wrist. Boys will be boys they say as they repeatedly mock and exploit every facet of the g

  • funny enough, being at green rarity means that they have a 1 in 35 chance to appear in a survivor's bloodweb in one of the green slots (1 in 27 for killer). I think the most green I've seen is 5, so that makes it 1 in 7 chance per bloodweb to get BPS Pink rarity may only get 1 slot per bloodweb, but moving BPS into pink rarity would actually give it a 1 in 4 chance to appear, as well as reduce t

  • Moris and Keys. Good lord are these the most cursed items in the game. Just one of those items alone makes one singular player a huge threat to one's game and throws balance out a tenth-story window. With people going back and forth about the balance of these two items, how about we actually think up something to put this problem to rest and move onto the next chapter of the health of DbD. Then,

  • I don't play this game as often as i used to be but everytime i play, i see more and more killers abusing the ping. Everyone knows that the game has killer side hit validation and many players are artificially increasing their ping to get an advantage. Rare are the killers against who short timing vault/dead hard/pallet works. When the killer has a good ping (around 30ms), every short timing ac

  • No affected. Since the key to play as Trapper is to push survivor into my traps and its over, not the chase. Sadly, Im too used to Trapper that Im not so good at mind game while playing other Killers. Im sure Wraith, Shape are the only few that suffered.

  • As a Demogorgon main, I think he needs some help to be stronger as although he is underestimated, he still struggles against optimal and efficient survivors, especially in certain situations and maps. Here are some changes to help eliminate that: -At the beginning of the trial, the Demogorgon's portals appear randomly on the map; fixed like the Plague's portals apart from one another. Survivors

  • I know technically BHVR doesn't see it this way because they can't do it forever; but when survivors realize they lost they will refuse to play the game and instead do nothing but hide and basically try and make the killer DC or lose patience by doing nothing but hide for up to as much as hours without doing anything. If you have whispers or something it's not so bad, but I don't have that on ev

  • Had a thought about perk use. Many games people will go in with the same loadout to great effect, but what if they had to switch it up once in awhile? It could be seen as punishing someone for doing well, but it is also safety for them being able to rely on one loadout for every situation. Why switch up your loadout if this one already works? And safety doesn't belong in a horror game. So h

  • Michael Myers is an icon of the horror movies, and Behavour has put him in this game with a very good mechanic that matches and goes perfect with him. (stalk survivors) Ghostface is also a legendary killer and loved by many people. And when they added him in the game a lot of them got very excited, but others, including me, have been very dissapointed with his power. Why? Here are some problems

  • Overall, I was actually pretty excited that the no bloodlust dealio happening right now hardly effected my matches as I played with Pyramid Head, Doctor, Ghostface, and Spirit. Then with Huntress, Pig, and Michael I had the exact opposite experience. I have the footage for you to see, but there was this Car pallet loop right by the killer shack against my Huntress that was exceptionally bad. Al

  • I have a select favorite of perk builds I enjoy playing. A good quality of life change would be to provide the ability to favorite perk combinations, so perks don't have to be manually picked each time you want to switch builds.

  • Hey there. So, I started playing DBD on October 30th, 2020, according to Steam. Since then, I've clocked about 109 hours. For context, this is also the first game of this genre (asymmetrical horror) that I've played and the second asymmetrical PvP game I've tried. (Breach being the first one.) With the time investment, the only Teachable perks I have access to at this time are Jake, Nea, and

  • A lot of killer perks typically punishes bad plays and forces survivors to be better. Overcharge and Unnerving presence teaches you to be more reactive when fixing gens, Coulrophobia teaches you to not heal in the killer's terror radius, Forced Penance teaches you to not try and bodyblock a killer on their way to a hook but I could barely find a killer perk that forces a survivor to play badly. I

  • Just a thought while I'm lying in bed with my cat and about to sleep... A survivor perk with the description: --- When within 8m of the killer, the killer recuperates slower from missed attacks made with their main weapon. The cool-down of missed basic attacks is increased by 15/20/25%. Relenting does not stack with other instances of itself. --- Considering the killer's recuperation spee

  • My gosh SWF groups are so hard to combat and it gives the killer such a huge disadvantage. I have no clue why the Devs favor the entitled survivors so much. They need a nerf or atleast mark who's in a group at the lobby. Atleast that way I can atleast prepare for a tough match. Reminder developers it's a 4 player VS 1!

  • This is regarding the Twins, go check out the changes coming to them. First it's the god awful 45 seconds it takes to get your power back WHY. The first reason this is awful is because not only is it WAY too long, you still lose your power for 45 seconds, the only bad thing to that survivor is we see their aura when we can get back victor WHEN THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE CASE AS SOON AS HE IS ON Y

  • I think, testing no bloddlust in game, is really good. Killers still have too high average kills and come on, everybody knows, bloodlust is a gimmick mechanic for poor-skilled killers. It's like a hack, bad killers need to be good. Additionally, they can create new killers, with new mechanics, which dont need bloodlust in their toolkit to be strong. So please, stop complaining about testint thi

  • Finally the most useless mechanic will hopefully be removed entirely! As a killer main this prospect makes me insanely happy because it means Beast of Prey will finally get changed if there’s no bloodlust. So let us talk about it. What is BoP and Bloodlust? Beast of Prey or BoP as I will refer to it for the rest of the post is a perk that gives you the undetectable status and is tied to the Blood

  • and before you just comment “do bones” listen here. bones are situational, if you see a totem then cleanse it but in a fast past game (especially in red ranks) you simply don’t have time to run around like a headless chicken confirming that all 5 totems have been cleansed. Its not a perk that assists bad killers, it’s a perk that completely carries them and rewards them for being bad *cough cou
