No YOU are wrong, my suggestions are good and aren't asking for much, you're just dumb as a rock.
Damn you really got me there, have a good day.

I also want the devs to try at least 5 PUBLIC games SOLO QUE, and see how they feel. Because then they'll see how it really is.
Can we stop spreading fake news the devs genuinely play the game, example being:
I'm seeing more survivors crouching now and while he's in power - this is purely annectodal from my own matches. | Mandy
If you do not know who Mandy is, she is literally a dev for the game and was mentioned playing against Jason as of recent
Also anytime a new killer releases that will be the only killer you go against.

As a gamemode, sure. Some KIllers would need to be banned (I think that only really basic Killers should be included in such a mode) for it. And 100% there would need to be a different objective, simply because doing Gens in first person would be even more boring.
The new zombie game mode in first person could be really cool
-
Perma ban when?
-
They should've made lights out first person imo it would've been way scarier
-
Gen breaking add-on makes you hit the regression limit super fast its not really that insane in the long run

Ah, just a rage baiter. Ok Cool.
I'd say "See you in the fog" but i doubt you even play.
18,000 post and probably doesn't play you are so right
-
I think Horcerer made a video on a Nemesis rework which is pretty much just this I'd recommend you watch it.
-
Ghost Face was probably the worst thing to suggest this for lmao. He already has a couple skins like this (bright red, and a bright white one) and literally nobody uses them so BHVR wouldn't make too much money in the long run.
-
I don't think this is much of a problem, I go against Jason like once every four games which is less than expected. This would also split queue times which makes them longer for certain players which nobody likes.
-
Fog vial with iri+duration add-ons are great because you can use it to stop bbq on majority of maps without being seen, and if you use it to pre run most killers will check inside the fog to see if you're ratting.
-
A lot of these changes are just wrong, the only one I see viable is changing rampage/the hex perk
-
Pretty sure this was already going to be implemented sometime this year.

No… all human.
I can assume you say that for two reasons:
- The dreaded em dash — (this was used in literature before AI)
- Because I made cohesive arguments?
I used to write a lot of blogs on other topics outside of gaming for reference.
Regardless, I hope you enjoyed the post.
Genuinely hate how people auto assume ai because of the emphen it has gotten so bad I can't even use it in essay anymore.
Either than that disfigured ear would be my favorite add-on if they went though with these changes, I approve of pretty much all of these.

I would be okay with a soft blanket nerf to baseline exhaustion timers to compensate, but I genuinely don't think any exhaustion addon should be longer than 5 seconds max. Enough to prevent a Sprint Burst at the start, but not enough to make it impossible to get rid of mid-chase.
It feels terrible getting tunneled and being unable to actually use perks that help with such.
Jason is especially bad with this.I don't think exhaustion perks themselves are in a healthy enough position to constitute for anti-exhaustion perks/add-ons to be nerfed.

Yes, even though I consistently say I enjoy my own solo-queue... I can count on one hand the absolute god awful games I have played (tsk, tsk, tsk Dustin hiding in a locker any time the Oni came near upside down room the other day). I still typically have competent survivors who do different gens and stuff.
I do believe MMR exists, if it didn't I wouldn't be here saying I enjoy my solo-queue but the way it works now is that Dustin with Fogwise, Alert, and whatever other two aura reading perks he had on during that match is placed with myself simply because Dustin's playstyle is hiding to get the gate or hatch.
There should be no reason why that specific Dustin player is matched with people who consistently do things. This would also help people being tunneled. - what I just described where how long you are in chase would determine exactly how the match went. Currently, DBD punishes you if you are tunneled out and you lose MMR - what I described would help people get matched fairly if that same survivor wasted so much time during the tunnel moments.
But that's just my two cents regarding MMR as a whole - it's too simple for basic win/loss conditions.
don't be slandering fogwise alert that is tuff

That's what I'm saying!
Was NOED bugged? I thought it was always revealed.
-
You could make arguments for both honestly, I personally think killer is harder as it requires more macro but looping a good killer as survivor can be quite taxing too. There's also the whole thing of perks and whatnot, many people think "survivors are handheld because they get the best perks." No, it is significantly harder to make a good killer perk without it being extremely broken on some niche killer with a random add-on so majority of the time its really hard to balance around. Whilst for survivors its more of "here is some really weird perk that is super fun to use but you likely won't get value out of it" or "the hand of god" either way I think both sides have their difficulties and its really annoying when people say the game is survivor or killer sided, when we all know its SWF sided.

Hello, just some small feedback. With the release of Jason. I realised that the mist or fog that he emits in his power is way way thicker and denser than what currently exists in the game on a large scale which is a good thing. I'm just giving feedback to say that the murky reagents (all of them) should maybe have a higher % or increase to the density of the fog similar to Jasons. If there's an offering for the fog, I think it'd be nice for it to have a chance to be used rather than neglected in its current state cause its not worth bringing. TLDR: Make the reagents useful or worth bringing, we want actual fog or bigger fog density rather than just some smoke that does nothing or obscures nothing. Thanks <3 Happy 10 year anniversary.
Jasons fog is simply too much for it to be an offering however the fog should be really dense and low to the ground like it was in the anniversary stream showcase of the map resorts imo
-
I think people will realize he isn't that op once people actually start using his counterplay

BHVR have been saying this for a very long time now. It’s gotten to the point where nobody should believe that they’re actually serious about it anymore.
I could've sworn it was confirmed to release sometime this year unless I'm schizophrenic

Maybe for a cheating pc player there is no problem, on console he is too clunky
I am literally on console ._.
-
Keep in mind that a surprisingly large amount of mechanics in this game are tied to FPS for some odd reason.
-
My guess is it'll be like Overwatch Workshop if you've played it which does some of what you explained.
-
Skill issue. Jason quite literally is one of the only killers that we have gotten as of late that requires you to have good macro and micro in order to get value out of him. His movement ability gets you across the map in under 5 seconds, his spear isn't really all too clunky you just need good aim, his base level strength is literally A tier or the very top of B tier. Why are you complaining gng he has been out for a day and likely barely took any time to learn him, AND you said he was fun and that is literally all that should matter when you play a game.
-
For jasons release highest I had was 12 mins, longest queue in general was 15 minute queues on Kanekis release date.
-
w anonymous downvotes. There used to be 12ish per map now there's 20+ lol

I feel like the 3 gen excuses is in this day and age a non excuse after the gen kick limit change. 3 gening is a lot of the time the survivors fault.
My main problem is how strong his exit gate patrol is. I think he should have a max time he can stay in his power and thats it no other changes.
Being able to pressure gate on the opposite sides of the map is wild.

June 25th is the anniversary event usually they celebrate and give players rewards/game modes/teasers in the days leading up to it

While I agree map reworks are nice, nothing is especially problematic rn and I'd rather they tackle that bridge when they come to it.
I'd rather the game looks and feels good to play with the new aesthetics over balance rn, coz the game ain't unplayable.
We can make those changes on the leadup to it in midchapters while we wait, no reason to hold on until visuals.Fair enough
-
Some games add updates a while ahead of time just to make bigger updates easier, or to put assets from big updates in chunks. It was way bigger than usual which is odd.

Those seem reasonable. What do you think about Rampage triggering on basic gen kicks? Costs kick time and regression limits while also giving some map mobility for the basic m1's without map mobility.
Definitely could work wouldn't be op at all
-
Silent Shadow is great imo especially with bbq
Scared to death shouldn't be a hex
Rampage needs more chances to activate
-
Gen rushing / protection hits would be a better comparison
-
Wraith has an unbelievable amount of basekit counterplay and techs to go against him with.
-
Tricksters is the only ranged killer who needs to hit multiple times that is 4.4 which makes zero sense. Even with the buffs making him 4.6 doesn't make him nearly as insane as people think he would be.

I like the animation but its very "Stiff" It needs to be redone. Brightened up. I wanna see the sky split open when it takes a survivor in for food. It should look HORRIFYING. Its spooky but it needs more flare imo.
Didn't think about that I hope that's what they end up doing.

Until they cleanse your hex - ruin. Then what?
Then hope they don't cleanse it a second time after undying
-
@MechWarrior3 said:
Honestly the best thing you need to know with Jason is….Can you hit your shots with his spears? If you have good aim..You will do great.
Hitting your shots is great, but honestly if you can't figure it out just spam your mobility and use hex:ruin
-
@MechWarrior3 said:
I am not exactly sure what they meant, but I am hoping the whole opening of the sky animation will be upgraded. Its a bit outdated.
I honestly like the animation a lot but it could use some fixing up/variation
-
Midwich is a free win for pretty much any high tier killer.
Lerys is quite survivor sided unless the killer knows how to loop it properly, and hold top side, which most don't.

Good old DBD. I miss those days.
Late 2019 → Early 2020 was the best time period. Before the testing of MMR (that created rainbow ranks), and before dedicated servers came along.
Just a pure matchmaking system that aimed to match people of a similar skill/rank to one another.I think its really interesting how people view different timeframes of the game like I did not have much fun at all back then until wesker released.
-
That shouldn't be possible usually there is a system in place to stop you from going to the same few maps over and over. Aside from that I have not queued into any of these maps so you could just be unlucky.

I do play both sides, about 50/50. Though I would consider myself a killer main as I am more proficient in that role. As reference I have 3 p100 killers and no p100 survivors not that prestige means much.
Killer has only been out a day so of course there are going to be lots of different options and discourse on them as players gain experience. I even conceded this point myself.
However, just because I have thoughts on a new killer that lean towards them needing adjustments to their power does not make me one sided. Assuming I don't play both sides just because I offer the slightest feedback is a bit absurd. The purpose of a forum is to promote discourse and discussion, not shut down conversation you disagree with by saying opposing options are being biased. Saying I am "one sided", or "just dodge the spear" is not constructive at all.
You automatically assuming that anyone suggesting Jason needs adjustments is simply being one sided, is it itself ironically being one sided.
I got called a toxic survivor main the other day for thinking Jason needed minor nerfs even tho I'm 70/30 killer/survivor split. People genuinely just hate it when killers receive changes good or bad.
-
Genuine skill issue on your part its not even a bug, in order for the killer to initiate chase in order to start having survivors block windows you need to A: See the survivor running B: Be walking and C: Not lose line of sight of a sprinting survivor for 10 seconds and D: Not be further than 16m from the survivor. Hope this helps, for further information look up a video on "shift teching"

I swear the fog gets thicker when he is nearby but that could just be happenstance or some sort of confirmation bias on my part. Like spirit you can also see grass move but that is map dependent.
IIts either when you crouch or he gets closer idk
-
Good thing for you they are getting changed
-
Haven't lost on Jason yet, his teleport essentially allows you to have indirect map wide pressure since people will get off of gens triggering perks like ruin or dms. People say the teleport is super slow and clunky but I honestly don't see it he feels fast paced and rewarding.
His javelin is really strong once you get good at it, its SUPER easy to two tap survivors. He is essentially long range Deathslinger which makes him feel super rewarding when you thread the needle. Along with the fact that you can tunnel super easily by shooting the unhooked then reloading and getting your mori off.
For everything else he is pretty great on every map, his add-ons are great, and his only good perk is Silent Shadow but its useless on him soo.. All in all I think that he is still most definitely A tier even after the nerfs, and feels high skill and rewarding.
