What Killer has the best counterplay?

Comments

  • Billy! <3
Am biased Billy is my fav killer to play and love versing him

  • by far the most rewarding counterplay in the game. Him and Wesker.

  • nemi is the most balanced killer in the game imo

  • Dark Lord - He has 3 forms, each with different and robust counterplay. His ability to quickly switch between each with a global cue forces adaptation and keeps the game nice and varied.

You can also pet the dog to immediately pacify the killer if the switch ups get too overwhelming.

  • kaneki since it comes down to me looping well

His own power give surviviors tools for counterplay.
yes you can use sphere to disable items, but still… If you dont have it ready the big chance this will be a long chase.
or just *POOF* survivior is on other side of the map.

And Ken if you have enough resorses around you. Pretty loopable.

  • Dracula/Dark lord just seems simple to counter in a way which rewards game knowledge and not teetering into something unfair for either side.

  • Wraith has an unbelievable amount of basekit counterplay and techs to go against him with.

  • I'd say Huntress (without Iri hatchet).

Simple Power, simple rules: it travels in an arc, and can collide with terrain. She has a 40m lullaby that lets you know she's in the area which cannot be countered with undetectable, so if you want to pre-run/pre-creep away from a patrol point you can.

She moves slower while charging her hatchet.

Her power varies based on loop length, loop height, and loop type, which you can influence by noting what loops you have in your area, but isn't a 100% guarantee every time.

And overall I think that in a game that was about hiding from the Killer, hiding yourself from Line of Sight, even down to the shape of a loop, fits perfectly.

  • I guess I'm not sure what we mean by "best". Like easiest to do? Most balanced? Most interesting?

  • I don't know. Mikey just seems so slow in-game. Very simple to counter :)
