  • Can't main Bubba. Too boring gameplay.
  • Chapter 11 is still part of the 2018 road map so actually it's not taking long at all considering the chapters were to be released every 3 months and chapter 10 (Legion) was released on december 11th 2018.
  • I have no issue with another female killer, but can we please get one that isn't at a reduced speed.
Can we get just 1 female with a 115 movement speed.
    Amanda (pig).

Even their rank 5 friend failed. Probably tried to bully then play victim when they got rekt.
I think everyone knows that ranks means nothing by now. I know several rank 1 survivors who don't even look behind them during a chase, can't loop, can't do 360s, don't know where pallets are etc.
  • Play something else for a while (srs). Dbd is one of those games that you should only play sporadically.
  • Like seriously, shut up about it. The devs have already said that it is in a position that they are comfortable and don't plan on changing it anytime soon.

How is that relevant? The developers are not the customers. If the vast majority of the customers wants something to be changed it will get changed. Ds.
  • Kill it with fire !!!!1!!!1!!!1!1!
  • Why does it even trigger you? If they're clicking their flashlight they're not working on gens so that's a good thing - unless you decide to waste your time chasing after that guy who obviously wants to get chased.
  • Isn't brutal strength one of the more common perks used to help with the chase alongside Enduring?

Maybe it's just me but I can't remember when I saw the brutal strength icon last time. Probably because like 90% of red ranks play Billy.
  • Brutal Strength is already in a good place as it is imo.

Well, if you think "beeing useless" is a good place for a perk fair enough. But we want to make useless perks great (again), or at least worth to use instead of other perks which are completely outclassing them
Exactly. Most people in the game run the same perks which makes the game boring so all the perks that are rarely used should get looked into. Also what's 20% on the pick up animation anyways? A few milliseconds? Not much of a deal in my book.

It is a mere example of why and how underused perks should get buffed. Make them more useful and more logical.
  • It's pointless to complain about people who steal your spare time to boost their ego as long as camping is considered a strategy.
  • You forgot:

    8) accept that playing killer is easier and less stressful
  • Hmm... I made a way different experience when I mained Bubba for like 6 months. People would tbag me like every game even though I dominated most of the time.

legion is skill-less okay lets ignore doctor for a second

Doctor is one of if not even THE weakest killer in the game if you don't know what you're doing. Not only do you have to mindgame survivors unlike Legion since doctor is extremely loopable but you have to learn perfect timing due to the short stun and optimal shock-spots to break loops like jungle gyms otherwise it's pretty much gg.

If you're trying to shock survivors at all of the loops, you're doing Doctor wrong. He's like a better version of Pig. He can passively disrupt survivors, and further cause problems for them from a massive range. He's an E-Z Track Oven, and isn't punished even remotely as hard as other killers for breaking a chase if he puts a survivor into Madness 3 first.

His garbage design is miserable to play against, and why he has such a massive disconnect rate.

I forgot to add that you also have to learn which loops can be countered with shocks and which loops can not. Just another aspect that makes him difficult to play efficiently IF you play against good survivors.

His in-game rating is "hard" for a reason. It's almost an insult to compare him to legion in terms of skill requirement.
  • legion is skill-less okay lets ignore doctor for a second

    No, just no.

Doctor is one of if not even THE weakest killer in the game if you don't know what you're doing. Not only do you have to mindgame survivors unlike Legion since doctor is extremely loopable but you have to learn perfect timing due to the short stun and optimal shock-spots to counter loops otherwise it's pretty much gg.

Also you need to learn if it makes sense to shock people or not as shocking pointlessly can result in them getting enough distance to reach strong loops that can't be countered with his ability which can cost him the whole game.

Not to mention doctor loses speed in treatment mode (110%) and gets even slower while shocking (???%)

Legion on the other hand doesn't need any skills as his power literally allows you to do what survivors do. You can just jump over windows and pallets like a survivor with increased movement speed (132%) and have a completely removed weapon cooldown from missed attacks granting successful hits in 10 out of 10 cases unless you're drunk and blind. That's pretty brainless.
  • Certain killers would get weaker than they already are with a smaller terror radius (doctor to name a sample). Also no killer is really scary for experienced players. When the game starts most survivors are literally just analyzing the killer and his loudout. Nobody is like "OMG IT'S NURSE I'M SO SCARED!!!11!!!" after thousands of hours in the game.
  • Honestly if something like this happens I lose any motivation to kill the remaining survivor so I just toy around/practice with the killer's ability till the survivor gets out via the hatch or even the gates. Don't care.

I don't need pips at rank 1 as there is no reward for it and I don't need bloodpoints currently so why play sweaty? I'm not a "killer" but a player afterall and unlike sweaty killer mains with ego issues I care about other people, too. So unless the last survivor crouches under a hook I'll usually let him/her go if someone disconnects.
  • easy Fix:

Nobody Escapes Death should freeze all forms of escape while it is active. No door, nor hatch can open while the totem exists. Not even a key can open the hatch if NOED kicks in. This forces the survivors to find the totem before getting any progress on the gates. There is no insta-down. The killer still needs to find, chase, and down survivors normally, but has extra time to do it in. Keep the speed boost.

This still punishes the gen-rush and adds time to the game, but does not reward a bad killer with instant downs and easy hooks.

What if a killer simply bodyblocks or guards one totem of his choice?

Can turn a 0k into a quick and cheap 4k. One single perk slot should NEVER be that powerful no matter what.

If survivors let NOED turn a 0k into a 4k they just played very bad and deserved to get 4k'ed. Simple as that.

So you're saying this Huntress played better than all survivors despite getting looped for 5 gens by an average survivor like tru3? Ok then!

You don't even need a Perk or an Item or add-ons to negate a NOED.

Yupp. Instead of perks or items you need something far more important called TIME. Take a look at my calculation on page 1 then come again.

Well it's a good thing Survivors have unlimited time while the killer doesn't. Start the gen rush after you cleanse the totems! You lot don't have any issue telling a killer to git gud when the gens can be popped in three minutes.

No valid argument as usual. I'm talking about solo survivors who will not communicate. Obviously you can not tell 3 strangers how to play the game (especially on console as there's no pre- or post game chat) so if you want to counter noed you'll have to do it yourself which takes approximately 4.5 minutes according to my calculation (give or take).

Stop acting like every game was against a fully organized SWF squad.

Of course you are talking about the low hanging fruit to make yourself seem credible. How about we remove SWF so all survivors are solo then we can deal with NOED? No. Then deal with it, like the devs told you.

I never play SWF so remove it whenever you want salty boy. My point remains. Noed is a trash op perk that has NO counter for solo players as time is the main factor of dbd.

    No, you have no point. You have a determination to berate the community with a whinge. I'm under no delusion I'll change your mind but I don't have to. The devs pimp slapped you lot today when they laid it out for you nice and neat. Now have a cold can of this "Deal With It" while we go over the scores for todays game. Currently the "Git Gudders" are leading 2-0 over the "Whingers". ;}

I'm fairly sure noed will get nerfed as it got changed multiple times. It used to have a timer. Given the fact every neutral player dislikes noed I don't see why it it shouldn't get changed again. Be prepared to lose 😂. But then again: People like you 1k despite running ruin AND noed on every killer anyways 😂

  • Can turn a 0k into a quick and cheap 4k. One single perk slot should NEVER be that powerful no matter what.

Only counter is to find and cleanse ALL 5 totems which never happens unless you play in an organized SWF team or you do it yourself which takes:

    - the time it takes to find and run to all 5 totems (approx. 30 seconds per totem - give or take)
    - plus the time you have to waste by hiding on your way to said totems (approx. 10 seconds per totem)
    - plus the time of actually cleansing the totems (70 seconds total)

    Total: Approx. 4.5 minutes

Now you've wasted 4.5 minutes doing nothing but totems in a game that typically lasts 8-10 minutes. Congratulations! Your team is dead but at least you don't have to worry about noed.

It needs a nerf just like decisive strike.

    - at least a timer of 100 seconds
    - or limited instadowns
    - or let survivors know noed is active BEFORE they get hit by it once the gates are powered

Are you able to read? I am not a survivor main. I'm a player with more hours as killer than survivor and I say it's too easy to win as killer right now while nearly impossible as solo survivor. That's not balance. If you don't agree you're clearly bad at the game. Most maps are just a bunch of objects and a few unsafe pallets and unsafe windows that can't be mindgamed. Big challenge - not.

But obviously you don't want to have a challenge. You just want a braindead 4k. Definitely a ruin+noed player 😂

    Git gud.

Nah man. And yes you are don't try to disguise yourself. Survivor gameplay is wayyy to easy. Yea i can go on a gen while my 2 other teammates are aswell. While the remaining one is getting chased by the killer in a loop that prolongs for potentially a few gens.
You don't know ANYTHING when it comes to balance and lost all credibility when u complained about those stuff u mentioned earlier lmao. Just leave this post before u hurt yourself

Want me to upload videos from one year ago till now? I play EVERY killer and I win with EVERY killer without ruin, without noed, without camping against any ranks. Not saying I win everytime but easily 8 out of 10 games which again - is not the definition of balance. The developers themselves said they're aiming for an average  kill/survive ratio of TWO.

People like YOU ruin this game as they think it's all about getting a 4k under all circumstances even if it means the survivors will die with 1k bloodpoints every game. So I suggest YOU uninstall this game and take your toxicity with you.

This is a VIDEO GAME and it's supposed to be FUN for BOTH sides.
  • Are you able to read? I am not a survivor main. I'm a player with more hours as killer than survivor and I say it's too easy to win as killer right now while nearly impossible as solo survivor. • As someone else said on this forum:

Killer mains: "IF A KILLER CAMPS JUST GEN RUSH!"
*facecamping killer kills all 3 remaining survivors with noed*
    Killer mains: "JUST DO TOTEMS!"

Let's just face it. 90% of all killer mains want an easy braindead 4k.

    - less pallets
    - less windows
    - shortened loops
    - exhaustion nerf
    - removed pallet vacuum
    - nerfed self care

and killer mains still complain 😂

At some point people will stop playing survivor. Why would someone play survivor if you get punished for doing so?

I started out as a pure killer main myself 1.5 years ago before I decided to try survivor for a while so I know both sides evenly. What I can tell is that playing SOLO survivor is a total joke now. You rarely ever make it to the gates no matter how good you play.

Meanwhile I get easy 4k 3 minute games whenever I play killer even if I derp around. Now that's a balanced game... right?
  • Nurse is the only killer in the game who doesn't follow the game mechanics. She can hit you no matter what you do IF the player knows how to play her properly. That's what makes her the strongest killer in the game besides her obvious speed advantage over any other killer (333% default blink speed)
  • Easy solution: Play killer. It's easy mode these days unless you meet a perfectly organized SWF team. I've just had another 3 minute 5 gen game without ruin.
  • Loving iiiiit. Toxic survivors can't be toxic anymore and tunneling killers are gonna have a harder time :3

Hahaha... No. Killers will now just slug whoever gets unhooked and then go for the survivor who unhooked.
  • What about Leatherface chilli addons? They don't do anything 😂

Why are you so obsessed with BBQ? 😂

    He's making a statement.

Also before you might say it, he already has BBQ. Unfortunately a lot of unfortunate souls will not get a chance to get it for free.

Why is BBQ such a big deal for people, though? It's a useless perk. Good survivors hide their auras using gens, close distance or lockers so it's only good for bloodpoints these days.
  • Why are you so obsessed with BBQ? 😂
  • Why does he need a buff?
  • Console players generally are more salty. According to the developers most moris are performed on XBOX. Ps4 comes second place. I literally got stalked by a survivor for killing myself on hook. He facecamped me for killing myself on hook in another game lol. That's the dbd community for ya.
  • XBOX + PS4, just not PC
    This.
Console players play under the same circumstances (crappy fps, lagspikes, controller sensitivity limit) so PS4+XBOX ONE would be neat.
  • Would be a good item to counter camping/tunneling so it's not going to happen. 😂
  • Must be a rank 20 doctor.

It's nice when they camp you and someone unhooks you. You can sprint burst immediately.
On console you get stuck on the person who unhooks you most of the time when using sprint burst making it completely useless against campers. I often got away from campers using dead hard, though.
  • When I was new to dbd the hag's traps made me jump occasionally. I had a serious shoulder injury when it happened the first time so that "jump" really hurt as hell.
  • Blueberry said:

Completely broken and terrible design. Next we'd being giving machetes and rifles in the chests.

You realize you'd have to run towards the killer to use this single-use perk which will make him swing in 9 out of 10 cases causing the survivor to go down instantly, don't you?
Most people would probably give the killer a free hook with this perk 😂
I still agree it's an op perk (albeit situational) which is why I asked if it was like a ds 2.0
  • But what if the killer is one that is twice his height (Basically half of the killers) Or somebody like Clown? Thicc boi is gonna be able to tank the tackle like a sumo wrestler.

Tackling the clown will result in a mighty belly jiggle causing wiggle effects on the clown for 2 seconds, of course!
  • Sprint burst is - by far - the weakest exhaustion perk in my opinion. It doesn't help lose the killer at all. It merely helps by giving you distance at the start of a chase which strongly depends on the direction where the killer comes from. I had tons of survivors sprint in my direction or to the left/right which allowed me to get a hit just when the chase started and boom there they are. About 6 seconds in a chase and already exhausted and injured.

EDIT: Also it forces the survivor to walk/waste a lot of time.
