Yeah let's ignore the fact 99.9% of all killers tunnel and camp to kill the first survivor as quickly as possible forcing (and allowing) survivors to finish gens as quickly as possible.Master said:Because survivors like to gamble in favour of genrush and then blame the perk

Isn't that the game that's known for being like incredibly difficult? I've wondered what it's like for quite some time. I might give it a shot thanks for the suggestion.HavelmomDaS1 said:Try out dark souls 1, one of the best games I ever played. The world will amaze you for sure. -
I got dbd about 1.5 years ago and was really addicted despite the toxicity because you know how it is when everything's still new and exciting so I didn't mind getting facecamped, receiving hate messages, losing against toxic swf quads etc. but after thousands of hours as killer and survivor the excitement of playing the game is (almost) gone so what's left is the toxicity and the people who seem to try anything to give you a bad game no matter if you play killer or survivor.douggie123 said:Now I have a question why do feel motivated to leave dbd. Give a proper answer if you do t mind other than oh it's toxic community etc.
Maybe it's just one of those days. I didn't mean to sound rude or anything. -
Your honest answer is: "I love dbd and I'll defend it like a white knight"douggie123 said:

My question was: Did you ever stop playing dbd for a longer period of time and if so what motivated you to play dbd again?

Just do what any killer does. Camp/tunnel and the win is yours.

No killer is spooky at all imo.

Nea looks fine considering... Well.. You know.. (insert outdated killer joke here)

I'm neither a survivor main nor did I tbag or do anything rude during the game so what's your point? What justifies sending private messages saying "get better that was beyond boring"? Is it rude to loop? 🤔BigBadPiggy said:Do Survivor mains struggle with the truth of them not being a special snowflake who are so high and mighty that they should escape with maxed out bloodpoints and a double pip?
And for your question towards Killers: I play to try and have fun but when a cocky survivor main starts bouncing up and down like a rabbit on crack and mocking me and all this other ######### sweaty survivors do, It ruins the fun entirely.
-
A bad killer getting 4 kills after playing horribly because of noed is the same as 1 survivor escaping via the hatch? Ok then. Besides sometimes 1 survivor plays like a beast while the other 3 survivors just die instantly. That one good survivor deserves to have a chance.

They? Trapperisop and alphaphalt is obviously the same person. Check the time on "their" comments.mintchapstick said:@fluffybunny they're trolling you.

Baseball bat vs Leatherface's chainsaw. cough... Good luck.

Siding with the killer is not wrong - it's bannable.
-
In terms of fun: Doctor. I enjoy his ability the most. It's just hilarious to walk after a survivor zapping him/her constantly. His laugh makes me laugh at times. I wish his charge time or shock-stun was a little quicker/longer so his anti-loop would actually work. Other than that I really like playing him the most.
In terms of fun/challenge: Huntress. Getting a good throw is tricky but if you manage to land one of those BBQ shots across the map it feels so satisfying.
-
I wonder what the record for stand offs is. My longest stand off was almost 3 hours (I played survivor). Had a couple other stand offs that lasted between 1-2 hours. I kind of like stand offs, too.
-
Sending insults, threats etc. is obviously bannable.

The thing is I'm not one of those tryhard killers who want a 4k at all costs. I'm fine with a 2k as long as it's an intense game with lots of chases, mindgames, close calls etc. Where's the fun in playing a game when the survivors act like tutorial bots?Aven_Fallen said:Usually Killers cry here when they do not get the 4Ks. Weird world.
Dont worry, it is no fun for Survivors either. If you are on the hook and a Survivor is healing himself with Self Care vs an Unlimited EW3 Myers, you know that Rank Reset is near.
Also I'm not a killer main but a 50/50 player so I want good team mates when I play solo survivor which is like an impossible thing everytime the rank reset is close.
Long story short: This game needs a new ranking system. Pipping is way too easy. -
Are you one of those red rank survivors who have never heard about pallets and windows? All I'm saying is the ranking system is flawed and needs a serious rework. I'm tired or winning without doing anything. Even a 5 year old could get a 4k a few days before rank resets.Funbag5 said:Your probably getting to badass for this game. Have you considered getting wider doors in your house for your head? -
Wait... What? You want a killer with no counterplay to have an instadown? Because hitting twice without "deep wound" but actual injuries would be pretty much an instadown as both hits can't be countered unless the Legion player is drunk as hell.
-
It's not during rank reset but usually like 1 week before the rank reset and it bothers me sometimes because I literally get 2 minute games with weak killers like doctor. I recorded a game today and didn't even feel like watching it myself because I know I didn't play well... I simply won that quickly because none of these red ranks even tried to loop me but instead walked in a straight line and always near their team mates. I obviously don't want to face 4 optimal loopers but I don't want to waste my time playing against potatoes either so the ranking system feels... Wrong. Red rank survivors shouldn't get downed in less than 15 seconds.Khar said:What does it matter if its during rank reset?

That's called "working with the killer" and it's perma-bannable I think.
-
Chucky wouldn't work. Killers have first person view. Even the pig can see very little while crouching as virtually everything blocks her view (grass, boxes etc) and chucky would be even smaller. He would be blind in most maps.

Imagine him on Lery's. That would be perfect. You're on the gen in the center of the map and all of a sudden you hear them loud steps and freak out as Mr.X walks towards you in his typical "x gonna give it to ya" manner. Omg that would be so much fun 😂PhantomMask20763 said:
That would be perfect!!! Just loud footsteps instead if terror radius. Would probably suck for him on open maps but on maps like lerys or the game would be perfect!!!fcc2014 said:@PhantomMask20763 said:
With Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield as a survivor or you know what? F*ck it do both as survivors, the map can be the police station so we can get another indoor map and the killer can be Mr. X. Oh and he could have his own terror radius and chase music, it should be thisThank you for your time
I love this idea. MR X chasing in the police station, no heartbeat just that thud sound getting closer. Poor Dwighty getting snatched out of a locker. I want the mori to be him ripping them in half.
-
That's an easy one. Leatherface. Reason: He gets severely looped which causes him to become a killer with no ability. Running spirit fury on him allows him to get a free chainsaw hit after getting stunned by that particular pallet making him more viable especially if you combined it with enduring.NightmareReborn said:Spirit Fury.
Next perk: TINKERER -
I don't run ruin anymore because frankly I'm bored of it. I'm bored of running straight to my totem when the game starts, I'm bored of playing with 3 perks when my totem gets cleansed, I'm bored of having nothing to protect gens as soon as my totem is gone.
Therefore I prefer to use perks at the moment even though it forces me to build momentum quickly.
Without ruin you HAVE to down someone during the first 60 seconds of a game (or at least it feels that way) and even then 1-3 gens WILL pop before you manage to check the gens after hooking that survivor.
But the thing is. Gens may pop more quickly but since you have 1 extra perk without ruin you can use that perk slot for something that helps you end chases more quickly (i.e. enduring) or protect generators (i.e. pop goes the gen) allowing you to build momentum after the first losing said 1-3 generators.

Too bad that report will do nothing as I didn't record that game. It's not even the first time I encountered a Michael Myers who works with one of the survivors as he gains the biggest advantage out of all killers when doing this. Sometimes I wish survivors could kill other survivors.TAG said:
Hard to agree with you on the ease of Myers stalking when the example you give involves the killer having an unfair advantage that one can be reported for.Yamaoka said:I think anyone agrees that michael myers has the easiest instadown in the entire game. Stalking takes 0% skills and goes really fast even with infinite evil within 3. Yesterday I played a game against a michael myers who cheated by working with a survivor who let him stalk right when the game started. He got his infinite evil within 3 before the first gen popped so basically you just need 1 person eho gets stalked completely and a bit of a second survivor and boom. NOED all game.
I still looped that cheating loser for 4 gens even with his infinite evil within 3. After the game I messaged the survivor "reported for working with the killer" and the KILLER messaged me "we reported you, too".
Long story short: Michael Myers is for losers and the dbd community is the worst of all online games of all time. Yes, I'm salty. -

If Pyramid Head (Silent Hill) or Mr.X (Resident Evil) ever make their way to DBD I will main them no matter how good or bad they are 😂
-
Looks like the killer decided to go after you because of his mori and the survivor just seems to hate you for some reason and thus wouldn't unhook you. Nothing bannable there. Why is the video named "survivor working with killer"?
-
I'm sorry for your loss.
-
The entity accidentely burned the horse's eyes so it gave it a third eye I think.
-
Survivors are supposed to run straight to the hook and give up. Everything else is toxic. 😏
On a serious note most killers (even rank 1s) are trash at the game and thus get mad due to their own incompetence which leads to camp/tunnel games as they are not good enough to actually beat survivors legitimately. -
I have been a Leatherface main for well over 6 months and tried loads of perk combinations and any addon combination. He is decent against average survivors but completely useless against good loopers. Here's a typical scenario against an optimal looper:
Given the fact they route between windows and pallets like robots you end becoming a killer without an ability because charging the chainsaw takes 2.5 seconds by default and Leatherface's movement speed drops to less than 90% (I think it was 86% if I remember correctly) while charging the chainsaw giving the survivor more distance to reach a window or pallet. His first 3 chainsaw swings are slow as well so even if you manage to charge the chainsaw in time while chasing the looper you will typically need to swing at least 3 times till to hit said looper giving him time to actually vault a window or drop a pallet.
And even if you catch an optimal survivor in the open they will always circle around obstacles as they can lean against them while you need to keep a fair distance to the obstacle while swinging the chainsaw which means the survivor circle is smaller than your circle reducing your chance or downing the survivor even if you do NOT bump into the object since Leatherface's chainsaw attack covers only 15 meters by default.
Therefore he's not doing to well against optimal survivors but most red ranks are average at best these days so he is actually viable. I lost very few games when I mained him on red ranks.
His ability itself becomes boring quite quickly, though. -
Doctor has to deal with the insurance coverage of all killers and survivors and keeps laughing his ass off when the insurance tells him they're going to raise the insurance premium due to the number injuries.

Can't ban players for being bad at the game. Also sometimes camping is inevitable (open gates or hook bombing team mates). I literally chased someone through the entire map yesterday and guess where he ran to. Exactly. Straight to the hooked survivor. Being a nice killer I let him unhook him and still chased the unhooking survivor. I did let him bleed out so he would have 4 minutes to think about what he did. I gave the other survivor the hatch for getting farmed off the hook.
EDIT: Just realized it sounds like they were the last survivors. All 4 were alive at this point. -
Camping is an easy/lame way to win or secure a few kills. It's that simple. People feel fun if they win no matter how they do it. If there was a "win immediately" button in DBD most people would spam that button all day long. Personally I want survivors to feel terror during a game which is why I won't even hook them sometimes. Sometimes I'll just slug the first downed survivor and immediately check gens to catch the other survivors off guard even though it's risky. If I hook someone I will not even think about wasting my time near the hook. I want to CHASE but that's just me I guess.

You did that on purpose!Jdsgames said:Oops, you slipped.

4ks can in fact be boring if you get them too easily. I literally had 4 disconnects yesterday in less than 3 minutes when I played Billy. I didn't feel like a winner. It's just boring and a waste of my spare time. Had another game as doctor (about 10 minutes) and put so much pressure on all survivors they'd start hiding. That's a 4k I enjoy.camp3r_tunn3l3r said:

I got called "sweaty" for using BBQ... When I played Leatherface... Cough... Same person said Leatherface was op.
I got called "hacker" when I played Billy with both speed add ons.
I got insulted for playing impossible skillcheck doctor.
I got insulted for using instaheal on someone when I played survivor.
I got insulted for looping and doing 360s.
Basically that's normal communication in DBD. -
Meanwhile I decided to play without ruin because I'm sick of checking my totem every game just to end up hearing that lovely "boom" 30 seconds later. Ironically I experienced an increase of fun since I started playing with 4 perks that can't be cleansed.
-
If all killers were to fight each other it would extremely depend on who fights who first because just because killer A loses against killer B doesn't mean killer A would also lose against killer C.
Also it depends on the map and how (or if?) all killers are even affected by the powers of other killers. Would the doctor's static field and shocks even affect other killers and make them go crazy (which most of them already are)?
Can Freddy even pull all killers into the dream world?
When it comes to close quarters combat in a map like "the game" or "lery's" Leatherface will easily be one of the strongest killers in the game. He's a giant who swings his chainsaw like a whip. -
I think you're mistaking resilience with spine chill which used to affect vaulting speed by 6%Paiz said:@AntiJelly said:

A great perk but I got one question about it.
So I know it's great when paired with No mither. But I've been using it as solo since I no longer run Self care. My current build is Iron will, Resilience, Balanced landing and Adrenaline. And it's helped me a lot with gens. But I got just one question.
How much faster does it make vaulting? Slow and fast vaults. I want to know the current speed and the speed with resilience. Since I want to know if it's as good as I think. I'd find it out myself, but I don't know where to.
It makes fast vaults 0.4 seconds faster and medium vaults 0.8 seconds faster.
I thought it was changed so it no longer affected vault speed?
-
Current medium vault/fast vault is 0.9s/0.5s if I remember correctly so resilience -9% means you vault in 0.819s/0.455s

Personally I think the fps is "playable" but console lag spikes happen to often. That's where it clearly becomes unplayable. Sometimes when I play doctor and I shock and hit too quickly the frames will drop so low the screen almost freezes.Paiz said:@Gemasuda said:
Please stop saying that consoles don’t need a FPS boost. Do you seriously not want it to run better or are you just trolling?I really never said that it didn't need an fps boost, i just said people make a big deal out of it when the fps isn't nearly as bad as people say it is. Yeah, its bad, but not unplayable.
