What build were you running? Just curious because I've had builds as Wraith ruined by those walls as well.Sloppy Butcher, Distressing, Coulrophobia, Nurse's Calling + "The Ghost" and "The Beast". The idea was to confuse survivors and prevent them from healing. In other maps it works, but in farm maps not having a heartbeat doesn't do much if you can't use walls as cover.

I have never regretted a ship name so hard.
Wait a second, if Jake is so individualisric, then why does he grab Claudette's hand and drag her to the generator in the intro? If he really wants to be alone he was fully capable of running away, ditching her, or gesturing for her to leave.
Well, he needs her to repair the gen faster. If you notice Claudette tried to go back to help Meg, but he just wanted to repair the gen and get out.

Overcharge is a good and fun perk until mid-ranks, but in high ranks it's wasted most of the times.

@White_Owl care to explain how so? I've checked the dbd reddit and a forum post saying its 3 seconds
https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/9266ge/how_much_longer_does_it_take_to_heal_someone_with/ https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/5525/math-sloppy-butcher-will-be-supreme-after-its-buff The first one is explaining mangled but mangled and sloppy butcher both have a 25% penaltyFrom the wiki:
Mangled : The Survivor is heavily injured and requires more time to be fully healed.
Slows down the Survivor's Healing** Speed**.In both the links you provided people apply the debuff as if it increased the time, which is not what it does. A 25% reduction is speed means an increase of 33.33% of the time.
-
@Link said:
@White_Owl care to explain how so?Healing a survivor takes 12 "charges", at the speed of 1 charge per second. With Sloppy Butcher healing is at 0.75 charges/s, so 12/0.75=16. With Coulrophobia it's 12/0.5=24.
-
Recently I faced 4 man Squadette with bloody clothing and New Moon Bouquet: it almost made me ragequit, I couldn't see ######### and had an awful time. So no, no more moonlight offerings, they are fun only for survivors.
-
@Link said:
Sloppy Butcher - Hitting survivors make them bleed considerably and they will suffer considerably from the mangled status affect (25%). This adds 3 seconds to normal healing (12 seconds) making it 15 seconds and when using self care, adds 6 seconds making it 30 seconds compared to the usual 24 seconds.Coulrophobia - Survivors in you terror radius will suffer a 50% healing penalty. This perk adds an extra 6 seconds onto the default healing time making it 18 seconds which may not seem like much but when it comes to self care it adds a whopping 12 seconds onto it making it 36 seconds, thats a whole default healing duration added to self care.
You're making the common mistake of confusing speed with time. Sloppy Butcher adds 4 seconds to the base healing time and Coulrophobia adds 12 (time=charges/speed)

Why limiting at the waking up animation? Let us slap other survivors whenever we want.

I think if they go on with healing time change (from 12 to 16) Self Care would get nerfed enough. 32 (or 40 with Mangled) seconds to heal is a loooot of time.I think it is gonna become 24 not 32 since it reduces healing speed by %50. I don't know how mangled affects (Baseline or cumulative?) but it will be around 28-30 with mangled.
It is already 24.
I believe it is 18. If it is not, perk description is wrong and it should be stated that it reduces healing speed by %100.
Doing something at half the speed makes you require double the time. The description is right, you're just confusing speed with time.

Only if even killers get bikinis

If the killer is camping the hatch, just do a gen from which you have view of the killer. If for any reason if comes to the gen you will have plenty of time to reach the hatch before him (if you play smart, that is)

Considering how fast positive Killer changes were added in the past: It'll take months, maybe a year. For example: 1.5 years ago, i asked a question for the dev stream, asking if they can re-do the Nurse's Add-on arsenal. I asked them since i myself thought some negatives on some Add-ons were WAY too much. (Mainly referring to most purple Add-ons.)
They agreed with me, saying they were afraid she'd be too powerful with these negatives.
However, i asked this question after they nerfed her basics. (1 Blink less, movement speed nerf etc.)
So they agreed with me they should be looked at.Here we are, 1.5 years later: Most purple Add-ons still suck hard.
The Nurse is not a good example. Give her good addons and she might become a literal nightmare.
I think it's safe to assume that every major patch we could see something done for at least one killer.
The Nurse is a perfect example, your point of it overpowering her is not the point we were talking about.
Point is that her Add-ons never got the treatment they deserve for 1.5 years now.My point is that probably devs are scared to give the Nurse good addons, since she can be a monster while playing with none, so they are taking their time.
I'd add that imo we shouldn't consider anymore the pre-2.0 era, since devs have changed their approach since then. -

I leveled Wraith up like 100 times to get it and try it with the purple Windstorm.
Its almost disgusting how well that works.
Im trying it with 2 windstorms soon. I just didnt stack the Windstorms cause i wasnt sure if they stacked.I tried stacking the strongest ones once in the PTB... I'm not sure, but it felt almost as fast as the Hillbilly. I would love having the numbers out of curiosity.

Sprint Burst is the sprint perk that got hit harder by the exhaustion nerf. Honestly I find it in a good place now, it's not even so common as it used to be.
-
Currently there are very few around the maps and Spies From The Shadows procs very rarely. When can we see a "crow revamp" to make them a more menacing presence for survivors (they are still servants of the Entity)?
-
Dude, the new mechanic allowed me to unhook myself with Deliverance against a rev-camping Billy, take a hit while invincible and reach the exit that was in front of the hook. It was amazing, but only because I did the unhook with the right timing after patiently waiting for an opening. It shouldn't be the standard.

Maybe from the killer's side, but I doubt it's possible as survivor. Probably they just saw it at the last moment. Remember that the traps' hitbox is relatively small, it's not hard to walk around them. You don't get disarm prompt when you run and you don't see it in high grass. If it was one trap, I'd agree they were following me, but all of them in different trials seems strange. Also, it happens only with certain survivors. Like normally people just run around and don't do anything, but sometimes there is survivor that knows exactly where all traps are.
Not sure if it's cheat or smth.I also run whispers, so no one around. Especially strange when it's place where you don't have LoS and it's random trap =\
Traps are not invisible, even in tall grass. Unless you use the Tar Bottle addon they are quite easy to spot. Maybe those survivors were just experienced or they were using Small Game
-
I think it could work as a perk and with an inefficiency factor (1% recovery=0.x% wiggle) and maybe some downside, but as a basic mechanic it would be terrible. You could just get downed under a pallet and the killer couldn't do anything to prevent your eventual escape.
-

Definetly cats.

The obession gets to see the killer's aura when the last gen is completed, it should be enough to go sneaky mode and avoid being found. Personally I rarely get to use Rancor at the end of the match because the obsession leaves asap everytime.
-
I agree with all your points
-
@No_Mither_No_Problem said:
I’m going to be honest: Rancor is not a good Perk. It’s a very bad Perk. In exchange for one Survivor getting a mini Dark Sense, you get to kill them with NOED during the endgame—assuming you even catch them by that point. You're ignoring the fact that you can see where survivors are, which is not so irrelevant. Imo it's a sort of sidegrade to Bitter Murmur: you see everyone instead of only those near the gen and in the endgame you get to oneshot and mori the obsession instead of a prolonged aura reading on everyone.

Coxcombed clapper (Bell is silent) and Soot - "The Ghost" (No terror radius or red stain for 6 after uncloaking)Fun jumpscare combo try it if you haven't. Can even grab off gens sometimes!
The Bone Clapper is good too. I faced a Wraith in the Game with that and "The Ghost" and 90% of the time I didn't understand what the hell was going on and I kept freaking out at the sound of the bell thinking he was behind me.

I hope soon because I'm tired of not being able to use Bloodwarden in high ranks.

The best use I found is to make the killer believe the survivor they are chasing vaulted a window in the opposite direction... when it works you just make the killer loose them
-
Problem: at the start of the match survivors will crouch around trying to find parts.
The early game will be slower will less chases, because finding a survivor that doesn't work on something is very hard (and is also annoying and frustrating). The match will really begin when survivors start to repair (unless the killer is lucky), and at that point survivors could memorize the position of a bunch of parts so in the middle game they would loose just a few seconds to get them.
All in all the idea is not bad but imo it wouldn't solve much. -

He’s using a clapper so it’s a global sound, and he’s mashing his ability button for a speed boost. I’m pretty sure that’s exploiting by the way.
I don't think he gets faster while cloaking. Oh and he has no such clapper.
This makes the sound global. Great for just annoying the crap out of survivors that pissed you off ^_^
Does that make it global though? Yes, you can't discern the distance, but I thought it was (without the clapper) getting quieter the more you were away from it. However, my first sentence still stands.
Only way to make the distance ambiguous it has to be global. Anything that isn't unlimited in range is quieter the further you are until you can't hear it.
This applies in real life, not in a video game. I'm pretty sure the sound is still limited to a 24 m radius.
-
The invicibility lasts until the survivor hit the ground. He probably used Dead Hard.
-
I agree, they need to be more spirit-like and more in line with her weeping/breathing
-
Her power has a passive component: every x seconds (randomly from 1 to 5 iirc) she phases and the survivors see her all blurry and with afterimages and it's hard to understand where she actually is. That addons makes this more common
-
I agree. At least for Leatherface there's the animation of them trying to get up with difficulty and for Freddy it seems like they just woken up and are confused... with the Spirit they just stand up and stay still for no reason. The animation is cool and all, but this detail bugs me everytime.

I'm mixed about the new sounds. I feel they are fitting, but at the same time they are a bit dissonant with her eerie breathing. If they were more eerie they would probably sound better.

you can clearly see how she was meant to be changed.Oh right, I didn't remember and in the patch notes it wasn't clear to whom it was reduced.
In that case it's a bit strange the choice of the 8m range. It might be thought to help counter small loops.

The number of hook imo is fine, it's their distribution that sometimes sucks. Having a cluster of hooks easily campable while in an area of the map you're forced to slug it's not ok.
